Daddy's Girlz Pod Cast. Rudy aka Daddy, and his three daughters Arianna, Masha, and Olivia discuss this summer's movie blockbusters and if they will go see them.  They talk about Mission Impossible The Final Reckoning, Jurassic World Rebirth, Superman 2025, The Fantastic Four, Lilo and Stitch, and F1 with Brad Pitt. Will they go see any of these movies or not?  Olivia talks about Formula 1 racing and the Monaco Grand Prix.  The difference between Daytona 500 and F1 Racing.  They also talk about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce having dinner in West Palm Beach Florida at Harry's restaurant.  Arianna gives the break down of life in High School, while Masha keeps quiet as she is not in the mood today.  They wrap it up by talking about summer plans for their friends and themselves.

welcome to episode one of Daddy's Girls. This is a new podcast that we created and I am Daddy and this is Ariana. Hi. And this is Masha. Why can't we hear you? I don't know. Oh, she's too quiet. Yeah. Yeah, you're very quiet. Olivia, say hello. Hi. All right, so Daddy's Girls is gonna be a podcast that we created.

and it's going to be about, you know, events, topics, and stuff that the girls go on in their lives and just opinions that we all have and mostly what they have. I'm just going to be a moderator here and I'm throwing out topics and what we're going to be talking about. And then they're going to talk about it. How's that sound, Good. Great. OK. Are you ready for the for our first kind of thing that we're doing? Yeah, sure. All right. So we're almost upon summer now and

What goes on during summer?

Depends on your age. Okay. Well, how about summer movies, the top movies that are coming out? ⁓ that's one movie. Okay. So here let's I'm going to I'm going to list a couple of the movies that are coming out and then we're going to talk about them. Okay. And if we're excited, what do you think your friends are going to say about these movies or the public? All right. How does that sound? Good. Okay. All right. Mission Impossible, the final reckoning. All right. And I know you're a Mission Impossible fan. What do you think? ⁓

I've seen on TikTok clips of it. And like the thing, there's like a special catchphrase or something that they use, like when Tom Cruise says that he's going to see you at the movies, he means it or like he'll be there. Like I think for the premiere, he's going, obviously. Do you think a lot of people are going to be going to this to watch this movie? Probably. You think you're going to go see the movie? Depends if I'll be home. OK, and Olivia, what do you think about this movie?

⁓ so I've never watched Missing Impossible, so I'm not sure if I am gonna watch it, because I know the last movie that came out last year, and it ended off in a cliffhanger, I'm pretty sure. So then, I think this movie is gonna answer the cliffhanger, but I've never watched it. This movie actually came out on Friday, so it's out in movie theaters right now. So it's playing, so maybe we'll go see it tomorrow.

Masha, what do think about Mission Impossible The Final Reckoning? Never seen it. ⁓ You've never seen any Mission Impossibles? Nope. You have to talk into the mic. I know a movie that Masha really wants to see because, you know, given her attitude today, Jurassic World, the rebirth. You know that's about Masha? Dinosaurs. Yeah.

You kind of look like a dinosaur right now. Never seen any of Jurassic Park movies. It's called Jurassic Park. Never seen it. They're good. They're good. I've watched it. We watched them in science sometimes. You watch them in science? No. We watched it last year in my bio class. It was fun. We watched the Magic School Bus and eat bagels. And feed his snake mice. We have the same teacher.

I've never watched it, but I watched the series of the Jurassic Park and I watched it it was good. Yeah, when I was little there was a Jurassic Park like with a little boy. Yeah. No, that was called Dino Dan. Yeah, that one. Yeah, I know, because you used to watch it and used to be like, oh, I want to be like Dino Dan. It was a good show. It was good show. I wonder what happened to Dino Dan. He probably got eaten. No, I think there's a new one.

with a different guy. Yeah, that's the one I'm talking about. that's not Jurassic Park. Jurassic Park is a movie. I know, but they have a series to it. You think there's a series now? There is. Like you could look it up. There's a series. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because I watched it and there's like this guy who's playing like this dinosaur game and he had to like fight the dinosaurs. And then he won tickets to the Jurassic Park with like these other people. And he got to stay.

at the island and they got to look around and then one like the dinosaur everyone like left the island and they got stuck and they had to survive with the dinosaurs and it was like I have never heard of Oh yeah there's a she's right it's called Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous. Yeah. And it's in the fifth season and it is. Yeah it started in 2020 and it's still going.

Oh, nice. And I guess I'm not 100 % positive, but Jenna Ortega is in it. She is? Yeah. OK, I'm going to have to watch it. I'm a huge Jenna Ortega fan. Yeah, so she's in it. So Jurassic World Rebirth. And that comes out on July 2nd, which is close to July 4th weekend. So that's probably going to be a a big hit because July 4th is like when everybody goes to the movies. It is?

Well, yeah, because it's a long weekend. I feel like most people are going out club stuff. Because kids your age go to clubs. Jersey Shore. Yeah. And like watch. There's a firework thing that Tenafly does. yeah, it does. Not a lot of people go to it, actually. I've never been to it. But people like I know people who have went. But it's mostly like people like parties are happening then, like people will host parties in Tenafly. If they're here.

And people host barbecues too, like we do. Yep. OK, all right, let's go on to the next one, which is a superhero movie, one of many superhero movies that are coming out this summer. We already seen Thunderbolts Marvel come out a couple of weeks ago, and now Superman is coming out. Another one? Another Superman. Yeah, they kind of just keep coming out with these different Supermans. Why?

Because it's Superman. Everyone likes Superman. You could always keep doing it. There's already been one show about it. I think it was called Smallville. Is that one? That's a TV show, but there's been a bunch of different TV shows about Superman. Yeah, but there's also there's like the main three, the old guy. The the middle one and the one. What do mean the old guy? The old guy, like the first one that came out. I don't know his name.

Christopher Reeves? Possibly. Yeah, Christopher Reeves. Then there's also the only one that and the one now that like connects into Supergirl's universe. yeah. That one is

He played something in Teen Wolf. That's the only reason I know him. Wasn't there like a TV show like DC Super Heroes and it was like a high school of these like superheroes? That was a cartoon. Yeah, that's a cartoon. Yeah, no, Supergirl, I've watched a couple seasons. I stopped when her love interest left because then it got boring. But there's a TV show about that? Yeah, with, what's her name? Melissa.

Something I think she's blonde. She was also in glee Never heard of her. Don't know what you're talking about. If you look her up Like who played her I guarantee you know her from somewhere She was in glee. was glee glee and what is she plays supergirl glee actress Supergirl, let's see. I forgot her name

She, yeah. What is- Melissa Buen- Buen- Buen-iced? Her, her, yeah. I've never seen her. She plays Mar- Marley Rose on Glee and then she played Kara Danvers in Supergirl, a TV show. Yeah. It's a good show. Glee Club is really good. ⁓ Isn't it like where they do covers and that's it?

Yeah, but there's also a plot and a story like it's it's it's good also most of the covers arguably are like better than the original Okay, but let's get back to Superman the movie. Are you gonna go watch the man movie with your friends? No, why not? ⁓ I Mean depends on who's playing Superman Because if we have another Superman, like I feel like it's gonna be the same thing. I am old and decrepit so I grew up watching Superman so with you know the old guy like you said ⁓ okay and also another superhero movie coming out called the fantastic or the reboot who is that the fantastic who the fantastic four you don't know what the fantastic four is no well it's about it's a four superheroes that's a lame name

Fantastic Four? Why? They're fantastic and there's four of them. Yeah, you gotta get a little creative. the Ridiculous Six with Adam Sandler. That was a good movie. OK, but like as a superhero, Fantastic Four? I would kind of think of like the Fantastic Four as like magician or like some type of like Broadway or like performance. No, so the Fantastic Four are

Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and The Thing Face. So it's based off of Mr. Fantastic. Because Mr. F... Like, he's probably the leader because it's called The Fantastic Four. Was on a couple SNL things, wasn't he? He's been in a lot of things. Because there is, I remember there's like a skit of him where he's like, wait, know him. Sabrina Carpenter skit with Domingo. Yeah. Yeah. The older Domingo. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. With Sabrina Carpenter. I love the SNL skit. Well, he's in the movie. ⁓

I don't know, this Fantastic Four comes from a comic book. Again, I am old and decrepit, like you said. I didn't say you were decrepit. Okay, well, I know what you were thinking. it's an old comic book and movies are made from comic books, so this Fantastic film is made from the comic book. It's called the Fantastic Four. all made from comic books?

Well, most of the superhero, Superman, Batman, Fantastic Four, know, basically they take these comic books and they make movies from them. There was a superhero show called. Or like it wasn't a superhero show, it was like people, two guys like humans, stumble upon. ⁓ Mighty Med. It's where they they heal superheroes.

Through their knowledge of comic books Okay, I Know that's what I thought of when you said comic books Never heard of it. It's a good show. You should watch it because then it goes from Mighty Med and then lab rats crossover and then there's The Elite Force that got cancelled sadly, but it was a good show while it lasted I I've never watched lab rats

but I keep seeing like some episodes on it on TikTok. No, you need to watch it. It's so good. I don't, I wanna watch it, but then again, like it takes like time to watch it. So this movie, Fantastic Four is actually called Fantastic Four First Steps, not Restart. I said restart, it's not. Let me give you an overview about what it is. Scientist Reed Richards.

Yeah, so guess they came out with this movie 20 years ago and now they're coming out with this movie again. Got it. Are they redoing the movie or are they doing like another movie? Mr. Fantastic Invisible Woman, Human Torch and the Thing face their most daunting challenge yet as they defend Earth from Galacious and Silver Surfer. I don't know. Are you going to watch this movie? Probably not. Probably not. Masha, you got to talk into the mic. No. Yeah, I'm probably not going to watch this. Either. ⁓ I think the Lily. No.

No, Lily's not going to watch it. This movie comes out July 25th. So if you want to see the Fantastic Four, July 25th. A movie that just came out today, I believe, is Lilo and Stitch, another remake. I saw a clip. Well, the remake. Well, it was in cartoon version now. I think it's live action. Yeah. So it's not completely a remake, but also like.

It's like what they're doing with like the Disney cartoons. They're making those into live actions too. I mean, some of them they shouldn't have. And then some of them like that they didn't make should. Like Rapunzel. Yeah, I think they're working on that one. They are. Maybe. I think. Are they like trying to cast like Sabrina Carpenter into it or no? I don't think so. I think that's a fan rumor. No, like a fan hope.

Not a rumor. Rumors are like things that are not created by. So this this movie, the cast is Sydney O'Oykdon, Maya Kiloho, Tia Carrera and Zach Galifianakis. I've seen clips or promotions of it on TikTok, like advertisement. Yeah. Looks good. I know.

I know that the, I think the voice actor of is older than we think, like than you would think. I don't know, I saw a clip of it on TikTok. Chris Sanders reprising his role, his voice role as Stitch. Yeah.

Yeah, that guy. OK, so he's the voice before. Now he's the voice after. At least they're keeping that. I mean, I don't think a lot of people could even like achieve Lilo, Stitch's voice. Yeah, because he has a weird voice. OK, our next and final film, which I know somebody in this room is going to love and go watch is F1 with Brad Pitt.

I'm really excited about the movie. I saw the playlist and I really want to watch it because I know that Lando Norris is in the movie as I think as a driver, probably. But it looks really nice and I'm definitely going to watch it. This movie is coming out on June 27th. What do you think, Arianna, are you going to watch this movie? Probably. I mean, I like racing movies. I'm not into F1. I'm into F1.

The driver's wife's fashion. yeah, like there's a specific person. I always forget her name. It's Alexander or Alexander St. Mew. Yeah, Alexandra, probably. Alexandra. Yeah, she has impeccable taste. Like I'm obsessed with her fashion taste, but I'm not big into F1, but I have watched Gran Turismo, which was a great movie. That's not F1. That's ⁓ it's a driving movie. know. Wait, what's it? What is F1?

No, what is Gran Turismo? It's... Isn't it F1? No, it's not. It's the... Like with the regular cars. No, that was a racing car. Gran Turismo, the movie, it's about that... That was about a kid who used to play video games. And then he became a racer. Yeah. Yeah, but it's not F1. Isn't that F... No, because the F1 cars are different from NASCAR. I think he was in NASCAR instead of F1.

There's a different. It's GT racing and Formula 3 racing. It's GT racing. It's Formula 3. There's different formulas. Yeah, there's Formula 4, Formula 3, and they added another Formula 3 because the original Formula 3 was regional. But then like there's another level, which is Formula 3, which is global. And then we have F2 and then F1. F1 is what everyone watches. Yeah.

But some people also watch F3, F2, and F4. ⁓ Back to what I was saying. So you watch it ⁓ only for the fashion? Well, I mean, I keep tabs. But like, I'll watch them. I like racing movies. I like movies that are like action. Like, love Top Gun. Absolute favorite movie of all time. Yeah.

both one and two. I mean I like two a little bit more but and I cried when it was over because I just I was sad that it was over. Not because it's a sad movie it's just because it's such a good movie that you don't want it to end. Well let me tell you what this f1 movie with starring Brad Pitt is. In the 1990s Sonny Hayes, which is Brad Pitt, was Formula One's most promising driver until an accident on the track nearly ended his career.

30 years later, the owner of a struggling Formula One team convinces Sunny to return to racing and become the best in the world. Driving alongside the team's hot shot rookie, Sunny soon learns that the road to redemption is not something you can drive alone. Also in this movie, besides Brad Pitt, is Damson Idris, Kerry Condone, Lewis Hamilton. ⁓ yeah. I don't know who that is.

He's a four time world champion. Got it. Javier Bardem, Simon Ashley and a lot of other people. This looks like a great movie. Me and Olivia are definitely going to go watch it. Like so speaking of Formula One today in the morning, Olivia and I were watching Formula One, the Monaco Grand Prix, the Monaco Grand Prix. Is Will Merrick a racer? No. How about Max Verstappen? Yeah, he's the one that was like gonna win, but his team made him pit because I think something was wrong with his tires or like the car and that made Lando like while he was like coming back, Lando got first place and then it was the clerk and then it was Yastri and then Max Verstappen came and then they ended it like that because

The finish line was like there and how long is this Formula One race today the one in Monaco? It's like about two hours Did you watch it Ariana? She doesn't really care you don't care about racing. And Masha racing car drivers she was watching it, but then she left I was eating breakfast on my phone. I was not watching it Well, I was like scared because I didn't want Max Verstappen to win So I was screaming at the TV and then once Lando won I was so happy because I I do not like Red Bull You don't like Red Bull the car racing team, but I do like the second seat in the Red Bull like Yuki Sonoda

He used to be in racing Red Bull, but he got switched with Liam Lawson. So now Liam Lawson is in the racing Red Bull, and then Yuki Sonoda is in Red Bull. So the other race that is today, while we're taping this, is the Indy 500. Yeah. So what's the difference between the Indy 500 and Formula One? Are you going to watch Indy 500 today? Are you a car racing fan, or are you just specifically

Formula one. I'm just F1, but I did look into the Indy 500 and I'm pretty sure it's a type of F3 race that's in Indiana. And I looked at like the cars and the cars are like different because the Indy 500 has like glass like shields kind of like, you know, like the regular car house like that. has that. But it's like sticking up.

And then the F1... So the IndyCar uses the Aero screen, which is windshield and halo for driver safety. F1 uses halo alone. Just the halo. The halo's purpose is when the driver's car turns around, it protects their head. I'm pretty sure this was Emola in Italy. ⁓ Yuki Sonoda, crashed and he flipped over. And if it wasn't for the halo, he wouldn't have survived.

Right, so it seems like from what I'm understanding from what I read is the Indy 500 and Formula One cars are different. They have different engines, the different make-ups. The Indy 500 cars go around in a loop while the Formula One cars, they go on a track or roads and it's more cuts and turns and straightaways. So the cars are built to, you know, take the turn. So they're a little bit

you're really going left, right, left, right, left, right. Yeah. Where on indie, you're going straight. Not straight, but like straight with like a turn. you know, it's not like, you know. Do you know if the indie cars catch DRS? I do not. That's something that we need to look into. Because I know that in like the F1 track, it says DRS and that helps the F1 drivers like gain speed. Because it's like the wind.

And then like the car has like their ass. Yeah. Right. So. OK, so that's going on. And are there any other summer races? There's still a lot happening after right now, I think either next week or next next week there is Spain. I'm not sure what time it is because they just like I just saw it. And then after that, I look into.

But all I know is Spain's happening. But F1 ends in December and it starts in March. In March. And so they do Las Vegas, Miami, Monaco, Spain, Dubai. They end in Dubai. They end in Dubai. Okay, great. Is this something that you're interested in watching, Ariana? The movie? Yeah, the races, no. Would you ever be interested in going to a Formula One race?

If I have a shopping spree beforehand, yes. I would love to go Gotta match the level of Alexandra. Masha? Her outfits. No. You don't wanna go. You're not- no interest in watching it. While he was baking brownies, I was watching the game.

And? Well, by the time, so I didn't watch the end. I watched until halftime and a little bit after halftime. And I was like, OK, at halftime, we were up by one. Is there a halftime show at halftime? Yes, usually. There is? Yeah. Who sings? I don't know, because they always go to commercial breaks and then the people talk. So unless you're there, you don't see the halftime. But normally, like during like

Like unless it's like the finals, it's not really a good halftime show. Usually there's the kids that dance. The older women that dance, the cheerleaders, the dancing team, they dance and then. ⁓ And there's also that the that they pick a guy out of the crowd to like go around and do the hoops. ⁓ did you do it? That's exciting. She's to probably be spending some time there. It sounds like Travis Kelsey rented a house in Boca for the summer because there's some kind of football training that he's doing down there, which it's kind of strange because it's really hot. It's extremely hot and humid, but he's probably indoors. There's actually a training facility, football training facility around that area. It's like an indoor thing. So I think probably he's he's over there. Maybe.

It's so hot there. was 90 degrees yesterday. Yeah, well, it's freezing here. I know. It's May and it's cold and I have to wear a hoodie and a jacket. I wore a full on jacket when I went to school the other day. Yeah, it's not fun. Like one week it's like super hot and then like this week it was super cold. Yeah. And the classrooms don't keep up with the temperature. It's freezing in every single class. Yeah. But then when it's hot out.

It's really hot in every single class. So it's not climate controlled. It's not. It's like the thing is there's air conditioning, but they're turning it on at the wrong times. Yeah. Yeah, that's not good. Well, you're in a different school. So what are you talking about? school. OK, so when it's like cold outside, it's like really cold inside because ⁓ my teacher, my ELA teacher, ⁓ when we had to like stay in there for like testing.

It was like so cold and we had to stay in there when the other people were testing for science so we had to stay there like for all our morning classes and all the teachers kept saying it's so cold in here and then in my math teacher's room too I don't know how but it's like always cold too so. No there's ⁓ our facilities aren't completely updated so the science wing the new wing is always cold.

or it'll always have air conditioning. The math wing, the old wing will be hot always, like hot, hot. My French classroom was extremely hot all year and they wouldn't turn on the AC because my teacher would be like, it's better not to have the AC on because by the time, like it was winter, but it was hot. Yeah. And now she has the AC on, but it's cold.

What about Masha? What about your classrooms? Are they hot? They cold? My morning classroom because ⁓ I'm in Euro. So before us as humanities kids, the room is warm and moist. Moist. Really moist and funky smelling like Ariana after a shower and you walk in.

Poet sweat smells like you could smell the questions. It's what it smells like after a shower after a shower I don't smell like sweat. It'll smell good because you use my Classroom my teacher jams the AC with the key to shut it off, but it's still cold my god the things that the teachers will do to the AC to turn it on or off is actually insane They will open it. They will whack it with a stick They will open it. They will put us they will shove a ruler in there and wiggle it around like where our school is just

breaking down. In the beginning of freshman year, all the way to sophomore year, there were holes in the ceilings. There's mold. The mold on the ceiling tiles and it would fall. Eww. And almost hit a student, like literally. So they put trash bags and trash cans out in the hallway that we would have to walk around. And it's a good, it's a decent school. don't, like, and we have like decent amount of funding.

That's disgusting. I know. Yeah. But my school is OK. You should see the bathroom. in my favorite bathroom, someone clogged it. ⁓ my God. The amount of things that I have seen in that bathroom. I walked into a bathroom the other day and I looked at like the place where you dispose of toiletries. There was a Dorito bag in there. And I'm like, who is eating while they are using the bathroom? Yeah.

Like it's going in one hole coming out the other. That's so weird. That's disgusting. Yeah. Like. But then I was like, no, I get it. Like I don't. I do. Like who's eating in the bathroom period? It's some people eat lunch in the bathroom. That's they banned that last year, but some people did. And it was gross. You would sit on the floor. I'm like, do you understand that? Like. That's just disgusting.

The bathroom is the dirtiest place of the school. I the school in itself is really dirty. That's disgusting. Like in these 2000 shows, like Mean Girls, like I thought like the bullied kids get to sit in like the bathroom. The bathroom stall. No, that doesn't happen. That's just for the weird kids. The weird kids actually sit in the cafeteria. Oh, but the cool kids go out.

Like the normal kids go out for lunch. And if you are lucky and you have a car and you can drive like me, then I've been driving for my sophomore year, like end of sophomore year, my junior year now. So I go out for lunch. But also town is not that far. It's a 10 minute walk. What's town? Town, like Teneflai where you can eat, where you grab stuff to eat. So usually people will either go to like Miso or TPR, which is Teneflai Pizzeria. And then

Or there's Mochi Nut, ⁓ Polly's Pizza, Pizza, yeah, Celebrity Bagels, Pizza Nova, like all, it's all pizza stuff though. there's also Dunkin Cafe And there's also like a sushi place too. Yeah, but no really goes there. Yeah, no one really goes Is it good? Cause I had it once. It's decent. It's decent. I like Jigumu better. Yeah. Wait, but can't you just like drive like, to like Englewood? You don't have time. no, you do. You do.

If you have double lunch, because our teachers give IDTs, free periods, then you have two hours off. And you technically could make the drive in just lunch alone. It's 20 minutes there, 20 minutes back, 40 minutes. We get 50 minutes for lunch. So you have 10 minutes to eat. No, so you have 10 minutes to order and grab your food and eat it in the car. You also need time to get parking, which is why me and Masha go at 730 in the morning.

every single morning to grab parking. Because if you don't get there at least before 740, like which is, it takes 10 minutes to get there, so 740 we get there, then you don't get parking if you don't come early enough. If you don't get parking, where do you park? Illegally. Illegally, and then you get a ticket or a warning. I got a warning once because there was no parking. And you have to park on the other side of the sign and you get a warning ticket. And the school was like, oh, that's not our problem. It's a privilege that you can even park like that there's a

spot for you to park if there's no parking you're screwed and they won't like help you with your ticket or anything isn't there like a whole like parking thing in like the back of like that's for seniors and if you park there you have the potential of not parking there as a senior next year so if i were to park there as a junior well number one you get your your car trashed by seniors current seniors ⁓ because they take grass and they'll they'll

How do you know this? Because I saw it happen. It's happened before, but they'll take whipped cream. Some people have whipped cream in their cars and they put it on your windows like windows, ⁓ windows and your front window and. And then they'll also take grass and mud and rub it in. And then those people are like, my God, why this happen? Maybe because you parked in the senior lot. I feel like.

They should have like a senior lot, then they should also have like a tiny, like a lot for like... We do have that, but there's not enough cars. There's a class, we have 300 people in our grade. Then they should like make another lot then. But that will maybe we don't have 300 people. Some people live close to the school, like I'm not parking in the junior lot, I'll be parking at my friend's Oh, they have something called the junior lot? Yeah, it's farther away from the school a little bit. It's further down from the senior lot.

But and then some people park on the other side on Pyrmont Road where it's just public parking I sometimes park there if I know I'm going home right after school and then I cut five minutes of traffic because traffic School traffic is brutal. I I see it. I get to school 30 30 minutes after Like I will leave school at 311 and we'll get home at 340 some days On a good day. We'll get here at 330

and on a really, really good day from cutting the traffic, 325, 320. And it's also, if you leave two minutes early from class, all you need is two minutes, you have no traffic. All the traffic comes at exactly 311. So can't you just like go out earlier? No, because it depends on the teacher you have. If you have a nice teacher in the afternoon, which I, none of my teachers are nice in the afternoon, but.

You can ask to leave early, like two minutes, be like, hey, I like parked really far today. Can you just let me out two minutes early? They'll sometimes say yes. Most of your teachers will not let you. They say the bell does not dismiss you. I do. And even then, it's going to be later. So you have some teachers like that. And on days where there's no bell, we all the students watch the clock to see the exact second that it'll like click like 311 run out of the school. Oh.

For me, it's a war. When the bells are like off, like for testing and stuff, when I French, we try to gaslight like the French teacher to let it like letting us out early say, oh, it's almost like 3.30. So you say, oh, it's 3.30 because when it's 3.25 because the French teacher. 3.25. Yeah. You end school at 3.05. No, mean, oh, wait, my bad. 1.25. You mean 2.25? 1.25. I know I know what I'm in school. mean, like when I'm out of like the class. Oh, yeah.

And my friend teacher, he can't teach. He screams at like my class. Well, there's only three people not including me. So four including me. And he makes us like watch videos and write down verbs like it's going to help us, but it doesn't. Well, I mean, you're going to I mean, you're not taking French next in high school. No, I'm going to take Italian. Yeah. Which you might want to start on Duolingo. I did.

You did and then I quit after like no, should learn Italian separate from Your class because well number one if you're going to Italian You're going into Italian one. Yeah, you're starting from zero. That's kind of sad. That's okay I'm in French for honors honors. So if you're taking a language, you're not in honors. It's kind of sad That's okay at that point. I would just take Spanish. No Spanish. I don't know Spanish at all

Spanish is easier than Italian. No, the teachers are harder for Spanish. Or like there's Miss PM and Miss Monel. But the Italian teacher is a dude. Who has a twisty mustache. Won't that be for French though? have Williams and Balali. Yeah. Well, Balali, her tests are hard.

But, and she's a great person. She has great life lessons and she speaks in French the entire time. So you like understand, she won't make you speak back in French, but test wise, it's hard. But teaching wise, she never checks homework. So I'm like, do even do the When's school gonna be over for you guys? June 19th, June 20th. But see, we have.

June 16th off, it's like ditch day or you go on the trip, Six Flags trip, which me and Masha are not going because we went last year. I went the year before that. It's not fun. It's not worth it. Was it like fun? What was it? Buns? What's that? It means like bad. That's not lingo. Anyway. ⁓ it was. did you call it? Buns. Buns. Yeah. What is it? OK, so.

They're not there for the rides, they're there for the people. Yeah, it's mostly... for... That's why you stay until 11, but 11, your age is there, it's mostly my It's for hookup culture. But there were some good rides. There was like a ferris wheel that goes really, really fast.

My friends, all going pre-college programs or internships. We're trying to get it all in before senior year because then we have to start applying to colleges. We're trying, we're do, well, I have to do summer assignments, ⁓ letters of rec before August, like fill out all the stuff. And then ⁓ I'm doing my pre-college program in Parsons. And then so is my, one of my classmates at NYU. My other

friend is doing a TA job at our art studio, which she is really good at art. She's doing that. who?

No names. Oh, we is it at like the RStud that we go to? Yeah. So anyway, she's going to do a job. She does jobs on Saturdays already. So she's going to do that. She's going to do a paid T.A. during the summer. then the way I know her. Yeah. And then. Most people are doing pre-college programs and internships and like that's basically it. I'm some I mean, some of my friends are doing like.

camps for their sport. like football camp, volleyball camp, ⁓ basketball camps. Right. And when do you start applying for colleges? that after the summer? In the fall? Like, well, some open up in August, deadline November. But most have a deadline of November. depends on when they open up, though. But that's for early action. For regular decision.

I think it's later. I think it's March. OK, that's different schools. Yeah. And it depends on the school. And Masha, aren't you going to be playing volleyball all summer long using your head as a volleyball? When Ariana said that some of her friends are going to volleyball camp, I was thinking of which one, because all one of her friends that does play volleyball, she didn't. She's not signed up. And I know because I'm in charge of the list. Well, I don't only have friends in my grade. You have no.

I play volleyball. It's only me. Okay, you're my friend. I'm not your friend. me. Yeah, see Olivia's doing volleyball too. Yeah, but nothing important. No, I'm doing like camps to like get me ready to like try out for like clubs because I'm gonna be doing club like this year if I do get on the team. So yeah.
