What would you say if you could sit down with your younger self - the one who was still figuring it out, making mistakes, and quietly becoming resilient without even realizing it?

In this special flashback episode, I revisit a letter I wrote to my 20-year-old self earlier this year - a mix of compassion, brutal honesty, and the kind of perspective that only comes from living through some of life’s hardest moments.

I originally wrote it for fun… but as you’ll hear, it turned into something deeply personal. If you’ve ever looked back at a younger version of yourself and felt the urge to say, “Oh honey, you had no idea what was coming…” or “I wish I could go back and hug you,” this episode is for you.

I also share a quick update from the current me - five months into this podcasting adventure (still kind of gobsmacked that I’m actually doing it!). I talk about how far this journey has come, and what’s coming next as we move into a more tender season on the podcast.

Starting in November, I’ll be shifting into a series of grief support episodes - real conversations about invisible losses, emotional overwhelm, and navigating the often complicated feelings that can arise around the holidays.

But today, we look back - with grace, humour, and maybe a little more self-compassion than we had when we were 20.

✨ If this episode stirs something in you - a memory, a moment, or a whisper from your own story - I’d love to hear it.
