Retired MSgt. Haunschild and I talk about the 24th MEU and their initial deployment and getting underway. Finally being deployed to Kabul for the evacuation in August 2021. Operating as Kabul Tower Kevin and his team preformed over 2,600 aircraft operations with three Air Traffic Controller over 16 days. With support from Air Force CCT, Coalition forces and Marines from the 24th MEU Direct Air Support Center.
