Making Menopause Matter
Making Menopause Matter is the podcast that opens up the conversation around menopause—honestly, openly, and without shame.
Hosted by Diane Danzebrink, founder of Menopause Support, it’s here to guide you through the confusing menopause landscape, and to inform and support anyone affected by menopause, directly or indirectly.
From symptoms to solutions, with plenty of myth-busting along the way, this is your go-to listen for clarity, connection, and change.
Making Menopause Matter
The Unspoken Symptoms - Vulvas, Vaginas and Bladders
Welcome to the fourth episode of Making Menopause Matter
In this episode we talk Vulvas, Vaginas and Bladders, including, why using the right terminology is so important, the genitourinary symptoms of menopause, sexual health, cervical screening tests, Lichen Sclerosus, Vulva cancer and much more.
I am delighted to be joined by two guests, firstly, my friend and fellow menopause campaigner Sam Evans. Sam is a former nurse and sexual health and pleasure expert and co-founder of Jo Divine, an online sex toy company. Also joining me is Clare Baumhauer, who talks to me about her experience of lichen schlerosus and vulva cancer, and how her experience has led her to create resources to help raise awareness and to educate and support others.
