This belt reveals the mostly untapped and accessible philosophical concept that reliably creates step change throughout our history. It always has and it always will, which is why its trendline at the time of this writing is off the charts.

In this episode, we'll touch on the following topics:

  • ethical dilemmas
  • pro life, pro choice
  • natural family planning

Welcome back to Meta Zen. The mental martial art. The philosophy of life.

This episode introduces the Indigo Belt.

I am your host and mentor, Marc Bubel.

Remember from the fourth episode for the Red Belt, I mentioned how FIFA, the international governing body for association football, removed an outdated rule established in 1882. The old rule locked in an outdated idea and compelled people to play along with the narrative.

There are thousands, maybe even millions, of outdated ideas like the rule FIFA changed. Every time people argue, we’ve found at least one.

Naturally, this is a hard pill to swallow as it implies we are oblivious to the narratives we preserve. This reality means we have to tread lightly.

Remember White Belt Lesson 7. Practice this now and throughout this episode.

Return to what you drew in your journal for White Belt Lesson 3.

The narratives around the story are points of view that argue instead of listening and having objective conversations to achieve a conclusion.

The narratives around any story or topic are one of two types:

Number 1:
Narratives that oppose other narratives. These produce…ethical dilemmas.

Ethical dilemmas are factories that pollute the earth with a steady supply of conflict year after year. It’s like ignoring the garbage we walk past.

Instead of having objective conversations, we leave it for the next generation to stop repeating history. We think it’s those that argue the other narrative that are not listening.

Number 2:
Narratives that oppose the metanarrative. This one captures the concept called…crab mentality.

Crab mentality is unknowingly hindering the objective efforts of others. Like avoiding having objective conversations.

Narratives that oppose the metanarrative are not ethical dilemmas. They’re a pain in the ass.

What eliminates both ethical dilemmas and crab mentality are objective conversations that return to level ground.

Let’s look at one ethical dilemma and return it to level ground.

Before we begin, please have objectivity as you listen. Also remember White Belt Lesson 7.

Let’s discuss the pro life pro choice debate.

Why spend decade after decade after decade debating pro life and pro choice? It’s a terrible use of our time and it divides people.

Instead of debating pro life and pro choice, let's use…that time to have objective conversations with each other and concentrate on what circumvents the need for people to have this dilemma.

Interesting theory, right?

Here is one way to minimize people having this dilemma.

Let’s inform everyone about Natural Family Planning, which is tracking the woman’s cycle. This will greatly reduce unprotected sex.

My partner and I used this method for 7 years. We did it in secret as narratives surrounding this technique are like moths to a flame.

We were objective and acutely aware of her fertility zone. When she was in the fertile zone, we used condoms. Then, when we wanted a child, it was as easy as walking through an open door.

The only people who are negative toward tracking cycles…are people with crab mentality. They're woke. They have ignorant bliss and proof is that they complain about everything.

And please, if someone gets pregnant and they decide to blame me for mentioning Natural Family Planning, what were they doing? Natural Family Planning is incredibly easy. Yes, they’ll be apprehensive close to the zone so they’ll err on the side of caution as they develop their skills. If they cross their fingers, it’s on them.

Plus, men, don’t put the weight of the responsibility on the woman’s shoulders. Two heads are better than one. Exercise your moxie and show her…she’s found herself a keeper.

What about the other causes that encourage people to have this dilemma?

When you are an Black Belt, possibly before, you know with certainty Meta Zen will enable people to eliminate the other causes.

Some listeners new to this episode are thinking,

Well, what about this and what about that? What about fill in the blank?

Those are ethical dilemmas too. Use objectivity and return to level ground.

Before anyone listens to this podcast, they already knew objectivity is far superior to points of view. Unfortunately, the work needed to return to level ground takes perseverance. Some will use Conventional Ambition to virtue-signal a narrative. Others will develop their Flow-State Ambition and they’ll get things done.

Becoming official

To complete the Indigo Belt, routinely and considerately enable people to return to level ground to resolve ethical dilemmas. This is how we end arguing with each other. We might not see eye to eye today, but at least we can be friends that enable the next generation to achieve what we think is inconceivable.

We can achieve the World’s Greatest Moonshot before we resolve every ethical dilemma. When objectivity instead of narratives calls the shots the world over, we’re there.

We’re closer to The World's Greatest Moonshot than ever before.
