Many spiritually-minded women approach their love search through ego-driven strategies rather than divine alignment. There's a fundamental difference between desperately praying to God from a place of desperation hoping he'll drop the man of your dreams in your life to faithfully asking God to reveal what's blocking your path to love. This surrender isn't about passivity—it's about shifting from "my way" to "God's way," allowing divine guidance to show you exactly what needs to be done on your end so God can work his magic.

The universe responds to your energetic frequency. When operating from fear, distrust, or negative beliefs about relationships, you'll continue attracting experiences that match that vibration. But when you take honest "mirror time" to observe your patterns without judgment and ask for divine guidance, profound shifts begin happening.

Hello, beautiful souls, welcome back to another episode of the Spiritual Dating Podcast. Can we take a deep breath Before we start? And today it's going to be a little different episode. Today, I'm going to ask you to open up your mind and open up your heart, and I'm going to ask you to open up your mind and open up your heart, and I'm going to ask you to receive what I'm going to be sharing with you with an open mind and an open heart, and by the time I'm done, you're either going to really resonate with this and it's going to speak to your heart, or you're going to go. You know what? This just didn't land for me and if that's the case, think of it like clothes shopping. Just don't give it any thought. It didn't work, it didn't fit.

Speaker 1:

But when I was preparing for this podcast, I wanted to share something that could really speak to your heart, because if you're a member of this audience, you're probably at that point in your life where you know you have so much to offer, there's so much love in your heart, and you've worked really hard to become the woman that you are Like. You're a great catch, and everybody who knows woman that you are You're a great catch. And everybody who knows you and loves you knows you're a great catch. And you've tried really, really, really hard to find the type of man that you're looking for, to find the love that your heart truly desires. But all of the things that you've done haven't worked and you're at that point it's almost like the tipping point where there's a part of you that says, just give up, it's not meant to be, it's not God's will, but there's other part that says I don't want to give up, I want someone special to share my life with. I deserve to feel the love that I have in my heart. And then I know that God wants for me, but I just can't figure out why it's not happening. And I get that. I so so, so, get that, so so, so, get that. And that's really my intention for today's episode is that we can have an open, honest conversation into why it may not be happening for you.

Speaker 1:

Okay, so can you open up your heart and your mind for just about 20 minutes? Well, if so, I have a feeling something's going to click, it's going to be a little different for you. Okay, so let's just jump into it. So, let's step out of your life as an observer. You know it's something I call mirror time, right? Mirror time is literally stepping out of your life and just trying to observe your life with no judgment. Right, it's like looking in the mirror. Right, you can look in the mirror, but you don't have to judge what you're seeing Now, as human beings with the human mind and the human ego, most of us judge. That's what we do. But I'm going to ask you for the next 20 minutes just to step out and let's observe your love life. Let's observe you without any judgment. Okay, if you can do that, you're really going to get a lot. Any judgment. Okay, if you can do that, you're really going to get a lot. So you've wanted love, right, if you're like now. Here's the thing. I think as human beings, we are wired to love and to be loved Like. It's in our DNA, it's in our makeup, it's in our divine makeup.

Speaker 1:

But the reality is only 15% of people who get married right we're not talking about 15% of people 15% of people who actually get married wind up having the happy, fulfilling, lasting relationship that their heart desires. Now, that study was done out of the University of Minnesota many years ago, and what the study revealed is that approximately 50% of couples who get married wind up getting divorced. So these are couples who say you know what I love you, you love me, let's get married and take a vow divorced. So these are couples who say you know what I love you, you love me, let's get married and take a vow to death, do us part, but somewhere along the line it doesn't work out and the marriage ends. But what was fascinating about this study is that of the remaining 50%, 35% of those individuals have admitted that if they had to go back and remarry their spouse, that they wouldn't. So basically, they admit that they're staying in unhappy and unfulfilling marriages. Basically, they're admitting that they're settling. They're choosing to settle.

Speaker 1:

Now, it doesn't matter why a person stays in an unhappy and unfulfilling marriage. But do you think that is what God wants for us? God wants us to stay in an unhappy and unfulfilling marriage or relationship. Now, I'm gonna leave that up to you, but I don't. What I know to be true is God wants us to be happy and God wants us to have a happy, fulfilling, long-lasting relationship. It's what I call divine love. It's the love, the relationship that God created us to have a happy, fulfilling, long-lasting relationship. It's what I call divine love. It's the love, the relationship that God created us to have, that God makes possible. But because we have free will, whether or not we get to experience that relationship, that marriage, that divine love, has more to do with us than anything else.

Speaker 1:

Now, I know you may be listening to do, but you know what, joe. You don't understand the types of men out there and what it's like in online dating, and where I grew up and where I live and how my relationship was with my parents and how I wasn't loved. I get that. I truly, truly, truly get that, and all of those things may be contributing to your struggles, but those things are simply speed bumps to God. See, what I've learned and what I want to share with you today is the reason why your way hasn't been working. Your way hasn't been working. It's why your way is not leading to the relationship you desire in your heart, why your way isn't leading to the relationship and the marriage that God desires for you.

Speaker 1:

If that desire is in your heart, right that desire. If you have a desire to get married, that desire comes from God. It was planted, it came from the divine source and it's there to tell you that's what you're meant to experience. But if you're not experiencing these things, it's because you're trying to do it all by yourself. You're trying to figure it out, you're trying to make it happen, you're trying to do things and all the things that you're trying to do and you're trying to figure out and you're trying to figure it out, you're trying to make it happen. You're trying to do things and all the things that you're trying to do and you're trying to figure out and you're trying to make happen aren't working because God's trying to tell you there's a better way. You don't have to do it all by yourself.

Speaker 1:

I'm here to help you. I'm here to help you. I'm here to guide you. I'm here to help you identify anything and everything that is standing in the way from you experiencing the relationship, the marriage that your heart desires and that I desire for you. I truly believe that's what God wants and that's who God is. Is this divine loving source that is all knowing, all loving and all powerful that can move heaven and earth to help you find one, one amazing guy who will love you the way God created you to be loved? I believe God will, absolutely. I don't believe. I know there's not an ounce in my being that doubts whether or not God can help you find that man, but my truth is that God cannot do your part for you. God cannot do your pushups. You have free will and so the things you do or the things that you don't do that aren't working are God's way of letting you know. You have to stop trying to do it on your own. Now.

Speaker 1:

I'm not talking about just saying a prayer at night and saying, god, help me find the love of my life. I'm not talking about that. That prayer comes from an ego that comes from your separate self. You may think it's coming from your heart, but it's coming from desperation, it's coming from fear. That's not coming from faith. God's prayer is God. I know that there's a special guy out there. There's one guy out there who will love me the way I desire and deserve to be loved, and I don't know where he is and I don't know how to find him. But you do so. Please show me, let me know what I need to do, what I need to change, what I need to let go of, what I need to do differently, what I need to stop doing, because I'm willing to do my part. But I need you to show me, and when you do that but I need you to show me and when you do that, the voice of God, the Holy Spirit, will come to you. It may be in this podcast, it may be in a video, it may be in a song, it may be.

Speaker 1:

You're just sitting there and all of a sudden somebody says you know what? I'm going to this singles event, or I'm going to a concert, or I'm going to a game, you'll come with me. Or it might be the realization that you know what? I have this hurt, I've had my heart broken and I'm really afraid of opening up. Right, because God says look, my dear, if you want to be loved and you want to experience divine love, but you're afraid that you're going to get hurt again, you're afraid of opening up, you don't trust yourself, you don't have that faith, then it's going to be really, really hard for me to send them to you, really hard for me to send them to you. It's not that he can't, it's that this universe is a giant system of energy that works on different frequencies. So if you're in the energy of fear, or that you're not willing to trust, or that you think all men suck, that is what you're going to experience in your life, because God gives you free will.

Speaker 1:

But when you learn to overcome those things, you learn to make the changes and you learn to open up and take that mirror time to observe and ask God what do you want me to see? What am I missing? This is what I did in my journey when I was looking for love, because I knew now I don't think I'm better than anybody else on this earth. I really don't. I think we're all God's children and in the eyes of God we're all the same, no matter what we look like, no matter what kind of package we come in, no matter what our income is, no matter where we live. We're all the same in God's eyes.

Speaker 1:

But I knew that I worked really hard to become the person that I was or that I am, and I knew I had so much to offer and at that point I was no longer willing to settle. It was like I want a great relationship, I want a great marriage with my true life partner, the person where we are equally yoked and not that we're perfect, because I knew I wasn't perfect, but someone who was perfect for me and I was perfect for them and we can work together. Where our relationship was easy, we didn't have to work at our relationship Didn't mean that we didn't have to work at life. I knew life was going to throw challenges and speed bumps at me. I experienced that with my own parents. You know, when my dad got sick and had cancer, I learned from my mother it's not all sunshine and rainbows, but my mother loved my father and she was there for my father and she did everything to love and support him until he took his last breath and I learned that's the kind of partner that I want, not someone who is so selfish, who couldn't handle the adversity in life, who was so frantic and so full of fear and anxiety that she would run away. That wasn't what I wanted.

Speaker 1:

I wanted someone that said yeah, it's tough, but you know what? I'm going to show up and I'm going to keep showing up and I'm going to love with all my heart and I'm going to do my part to be the loving partner that I want to be. And that's what I was looking for and that's who I wanted to be. It's the kind of relationship that I wanted. And so I had to step out of my life and see where I was going wrong and see what I needed to do differently. And when I did that, you know the old expression ask and you shall receive. I was given the resources, the insight, the divine inspiration to uncover what I was doing wrong, to uncover what I was doing wrong.

Speaker 1:

And the cool part is, once I made the changes, not that long after, I met Natalie, the love of my life, who is my best friend, who is my partner, who is my soulmate, who is not perfect but who is perfect for me. And that's the kind of love that I want for you, that God wants for you, and I know that you want for you. But what I know to be true is, if you keep trying to do it on your own is if you keep trying to do it on your own or listening to other egos who have agendas, whose agendas are in front of your own well-being, your own heart's desires, who are trying to control you and tell you what to do, then it's going to be more difficult. But when you are aligned with the divine and you trust God and you ask God to guide you, to help you, to show you the way, you will then be given the resources in whatever way God knows that you need, and it may be through a spiritual dating coach, I don't know. But I do know that if you have a desire in your heart, you are meant to experience that. That is what God wants you? God wants you to be happy.

Speaker 1:

Do you think let's get real? Do you think God really wants you to continue to struggle in your love life? Do you think everything that you've experienced in you've probably been married, in your marriage and in your relationship that led you to here? Do you think God wants you to continue to struggle? Do you think God wants you to continue to date and invest in men who are mostly unavailable or mostly unhealthy or who have no clue or idea on how to be a loving, divine relationship partner? Do you think that's what God wants for you really? And if you do, I invite you to really look at your relationship and to understand who God really is, because you might be like me, where you went to Catholic school, and you have this vision and an idea of who God is based on your indoctrination, which is so far away from who and what God really is.

Speaker 1:

I have a relationship now with God that is completely different of the relationship that I had several years ago, because I didn't truly understand what and who God is and who I am in relationship to God and how we are divinely connected and when you understand who and what God is and the role God truly plays in your journey and how God is there to love you, support you, guide you and give you everything that you freaking need to have the relationship that he wants for you. He only asks you to do one thing Give up your ego's way of trying to control, of thinking how it should be, and let him show you and guide you. Now, is that easy? Is that something you can do in five minutes? If you've been trying to control and force and do, or you're afraid that if you don't force, you don't do, you don't continue to do, you don't continue to figure it out, looking and hoping that you're going to find the magic pill, the magic answer, the magic program, the magic video. That's going to be exactly what you need. That's part of the illusion, that's part of the game of the ego. Keep searching, keep searching, keep searching, keep searching, keep searching and hopefully you'll get it.

Speaker 1:

Well, my dear sister, how's that been working? When do we get to the point where it's like you know what my way isn't working, there's gotta be a better way. Oh, there is a better way, your way. Well, can you show me what your way is and show me what I need to do? And I promise you, when you do that, things will start to shift, things will start to change and you will be guided in whatever way God knows is best for you.

Speaker 1:

Because what God is what I know to be true, 100% true is God is love, and anything that is not of love is not love, is not of god. And I know that might be heavy and that might be. You might be watching go, what? What the hell did you say god is love and everything that is not of love, that is not of god? Like what does that mean? Like I that may blow your mind and I get that.

Speaker 1:

Somebody said that to me many years ago. What are you talking about? I get, but I promise you that's who God is, and God's love is all knowing, all loving and all powerful, and it can create miracles. All you have to do is to be willing to receive that love and then take steps in the direction that will allow God to show you his truth and help you create your heart's desire, because that's how it works. So, my dear, this is kind of heavy and I get that, but if you're at that point where you know you have so much to offer, you're a great catch and you want that someone special. That desire is in your heart. It's been there for a while and you're just. Everything you've been doing hasn't been working. I invite you to ask God show me a different way, show me your way. You know better than me. And you surrender and you let go and you give it up. I promise you, my sister, you knew that you're gonna start to see some miracles happen.

Speaker 1:
