It's kind of funny how magnetic it is when you put a bunch of people that believe in themselves that want a better life and that are here on a cause to do something bigger than ourselves. And uh I wanted to talk to you about something, and Marty is true. Um Marty is true. Is English? Is that English? Going to know Marty's very critical of me. Uh he takes advantage of my income. For some reason, he never has his wallet when I'm around. But he makes me better. And every time I'm with him, I'm like, what's something I'm not doing that I should be doing? When I'm around Eric and Sandler, what's something I'm not doing that I should be doing? When I'm with Matt, I'm like, hey, well, how can I really do? And uh I just want to give it off to the GFI executive board, uh, Marcel, Matt, uh, Marty, Eric, Levi, uh, Papa Path. We made Papa Pat younger, but the truth is he also made us older. Like now we're tired of him. Uh and also the Linda with the table. Can we give the board a big one see Paco Pass? He's like, he was like the president of UNICEF. Um stand up, he's got he's got the big picture GFI is like the first company, so he brought it in his time. I want to I I want to give you a topic that I think it's set on the week because last time I checked, this is the leadership meeting of the week. So in the leadership meeting, that means we only have the leaders of GFI in the meeting. And uh so we talk differently to leaders than we talk to fathers, and we agree. And many of us, many of us, it's time that we take our minds, our business, and our lives from good to great. You guys have proven you guys are the 20% of this company. But I want you to know that it's a very different mindset being a 20%er than it is to be a 1%er. And with that, I want to ask all the 1%ers in the room to please stand up. And I think it's unbelievable if you're being a good I don't know the exact number of people, but I do know that there were some people wondering if we were gonna make it the first year. I know there were some people talking about uh oh, they lost this and they lost that over that horse, and all I know is that ten months into it, this company submitted over a hundred million dollars and called it eight thousand months. And if they don't know, now they don't know. And I want you to make buzz on the internet. I want to I want us to keep coming back to this thing and break the internet. I want you GFI impact 24 on every post you make. GF hashtag GFI impact 24, you guys got that? Every post, hashtag GFI impact 24. I want all the feats to be GFI, GFI, GFI, GFI. Which here's the thing. One thing we've done right this year is we've done break with marketing. So let's give it up to our marketing team. I want to talk to becoming a one percenter, is that okay? Here's five things that one percenters possess. If you want to be a one percenter, here's five things that can help you become. Mario, where's your power point? I ain't got one. I got a powerful point, so make sure you take it. I got that one hard, but I didn't sound the same. What closed this is way pretty. Alright, here we go. Number one. Associations are everything. You got this? Associations are everything. I have a two, well, I have a daughter that's gonna be three years old next month. She's my princess. She is awesome. And I'm already here picking her friends. I'm not joking. She hanging out with my kids the other day. She gets home and she starts crying. I'm like, you don't cry? And I'm like, what do you want? Like, what do you want? I'm like, hey, not because your buddies cry and give me what they want. I'm gonna let you cry and give me what you want. And my mom, me called that. I love you. Stay in your room right now.
unknownLike, anyway, it made me crying, crying, crying. I'm like, I mean, we're not listening. We will not lose today.
SPEAKER_01Maybe my daughter is being influenced by Christ, I can only imagine how you're influenced by growth people around you. As much as you care about your kids' associations, who you're around is more impactful than who your kids are around. And most of you, you spend most of your time in life with the people that you had a common past with, and you wonder why your future is not changing. At the high levels of performance, our associations become the people we have a common future with, not a common past with. And you gotta remember, we're not talking change your friends, we're talking about changing your association. Because you're the average of the five people you're around. And the reality is, if we just change those five people, everything can change in our life. I want to encourage you to develop something called a running name. One of the greatest things that happened in my life is that I was recruited by a guy by the name of Brandon Sakai. I'll be shocked if he's here because usually late to everything. I gotta say, we're not here. I came to an event like this with Brandy and I said, Well, I'm never gonna let you quit. And he says, and you never let me quit. I said, How about we change your strategy from join real quick? How about like join and get rich? He's like, Alright, dude, let's get rich. And I'm like, I'm gonna check on you, you're gonna check on me. And I'm so freaking proud. My brother Randy's crossing his million dollar ring in his mind. But if you want a career, there was different people that were critical and changing. Here, I'll write this down. If your associations are not changing every six months, you're not growing. If your association, I'm not saying if you're friends, if you're a family, if your associations are not changing every six months, you're not growing. I want to say my associations are the people in the GFI work. And I'm inspired by the word that I have a running mate, but we've never officially called each other running mates. And his name is Matthew Wells. I never thought I would have come to someone younger than me. And I would come to the chair. He's everything you think he is. And so. And when you meet someone that's better off the stage than on the stage, it's really, really rare. He loves some people, but then he wants to demolish the competition. He's willing to work 22 hours a day. He's willing to go the distance, he's willing to do whatever it takes. He's trying to be the most coachable favorite person toward a coach. And that's where I draw the line. I'm like, no, that night, he's in California time. This is not a man just follow the people in like Central Coast time. You know what I mean? Like in the central, like, I'm like, bro, I'm like, this is like 1 a.m. is 3 a.m. time. And I'm like, Matt, okay, here's the thing. I'm not leaving Eric Drew until you leave Eric Drew. So we can go over now? He's like, yeah. And then he walks out, and like literally, his room was the one across the hallway from Eric's. And I'm like, shit, so he was, and literally I said the home and I'm like, this guy comes back, I'm waiting. I'm gonna win it. And uh, no, I'm telling you, he's become my front in me. And he's all like, I called him and I said, Are you working? I just watch these numbers. And I track it down, and he's building a great organization. He's got three millionaires on his team already. But I'll tell you this: as much as keeps my running mate, he's my competition. And I want to kick his butt the same way he wants to kick my butt. And the best part about it is that whether I lose or win, we're both winning because our people are winning, because our numbers are growing, and because we're changing people's lives. If you wonder why you're not getting paid, do it fighting. Last time I checked, no one was not getting paid on a match or the ones fighting. And you gotta stop being afraid of competition. Because competition in the entrepreneurial realm is very different than the physical realm. In the physical realm, losing in competition means you lost. In the business sense, it means you got better. Have you ever given yourself a chance to get after it with someone? You should meet someone this week and say, Hey, I'm not gonna let you down, you're not gonna let me down. But let's buy a thousand bucks, who gets to the$100,000 ring first, and whoever loses gotta buy another team dinner and a thousand bucks. Who is ready to start the game? Woo! Hey, you want to be a ball percent? This is not like pretty talk. I'm not voting for president. I don't need you to vote for me. But I do want you to change your life. Number two. I know some of you are like, man, I'm being competitive right now. Some of you, I don't like competition. We know you don't. We know you don't. So is your bank account and your family? Well, I just don't want to be competitive. Look, here's the thing. I may not like competition, but I also don't like being broke. Choose what you don't like. Number two, you gotta be mentally tough. And can we define mental toughness? I'm gonna go quickly through this point because it's just a very uh uh simple topic. Uh, stop saying you're mentally tough. I'm so tough. If you knew what I went through. If you ever tell anybody, eating what I went through, you are not tough. Even if you don't, Mario. I didn't get beat up by life, like you don't even understand. I'm like, brother, maybe you have not read the definition of mental toughness. What you're describing to me right now is something called life. Mental toughness is winning through adversity, not going through adversity. Point number three, so you'll get around with Here's the thing, right? You want to get to the elite levels, this gotta be a lot bigger than money. This gotta be much more than money. You got me? Now all of you philanthropical broke people, you're like, yeah, it's more than the money. No, no, no. That does not mean we're not money motivated. Let me get it clear. Some of you think GFI is a non-profit organization. We are a for-profit health people organization. What does that mean? We're in the financial industry. We're supposed to make a crackload of money around here. And I don't know if you notice, there are people making a crap load of money. I would like to automate them on the front row. It's probably like 40 million a year that goes on the front row. But it's much bigger than that. So I have a question. What is the bigger reason than money for you? Is that I got an interview with Steve Siewell and he says, Well, what's one of your drivers? I just wanted one Latino one day. Is there any Latinos here? We're supposed to whistle. What's going on with your drive? Anytime you have some Latinos usually sounds like early mornings in Africa. I can say some Latino, you don't try that morning. You get HR anger. What I'm trying to tell you is this. I just want someone, a Latino, somebody doesn't speak English, somebody came from another country. Maybe you came and you're an immigrant. I don't know if they're saying immigrants, but GFI is good for immigrants. I don't know if that's you. But I want you to know that there's someone just like you that came in here, didn't know any device in the industry, but wanted to come to America and live the American dream, wanted to live in a nice home, wanted to provide for his family, wanted to one day go back home, and everybody back home could be proud of them and say, Man, you did it! And you're like, hell yeah! And you're that person, I just want you to know, I'm dead serious. If I could do it, so can you. You're looking at me now, 17 years in. You should have you should have met me when I was 19. And I didn't speak English, and I was making phone calls that people would say, uh, I don't understand. And I said, one second, and I'm like, can you finish the vote for me? Because people won't understand my accent. So I had to switch my strategy and I start doing appointments in Spanish. And I realized I don't sell language, I sell financial services. So I just want you to make this a bigger reason than just money. Number four, you gotta master your craft. Do me a favor amateurs don't get paid professional income. If you want to make the big bucks, you gotta learn to do this the way the best of the best do it. There's no such thing as can you help me with an illustration? I'm not very good at the repetition. Here's the thing you don't gotta be the best at everything, but you gotta be pretty damn good at everything. You know the good news? That we control what we get good at, what we put at for at. They say repetition is the mother of all. And if you wanna get good, you just gotta practice more. I wanna, I wanna, I wanna give you a paradigm shit. How would you play if you knew you were guaranteed to win? So we need to understand this. You are guaranteed to win. You can predetermined in your DNA, God angels. So everything that happens to you from here to you're a millionaire, there's no losses. These are learning experiences. Hear me. You're guaranteed to be a millionaire. Can you stay with us? But you're guaranteed to be a millionaire is famous. Now do me a favor, go act like it's guaranteed. Go take some notes. Go make your own unemployment when you're not ready. Be willing to stumble forward. Entrepreneurship is jumping up the cliff and building our wings on our way down. Be willing to make mistakes. Matter of fact, there's those who make the mistakes the fastest and learn the quickest that end up speaking. And everybody else that's afraid of making mistakes are sitting down taking notes. So I want to encourage you to see yourself at this stage one day because you're willing to get good on your ground. You're no longer a baker. You're no longer a bus driver. You're no longer a school teacher. You're not a financial professional. Let's get good at this. And last but not least, you gotta get obsessed, baby. You gotta love this game. You gotta love this game. I was I was I was thinking of how can I explain this? And I'm like, how did you get obsessed? I asked myself, how did I get obsessed about it? And I realized that when my passion met my inspiration. My obsession. I went to know what they mean so much to us in my family. When families are doing certain things in the park with their kids and stuff, my family's grinding. And maybe my daughter's gonna play no with mom because daddy's on the call. When you begin to do what no one else is willing to do, you begin to feel worthy of what no one else is willing to do. And I just want you to know one thing. You're in the right place, at the right time, with the right company, with the right leadership, with the right products, with the right compensation plan. You now gotta become the right person. And as I walk off the stage, I just want to end with one question. Why not you? And why not? Why not right now? Make 2025 the best year of your life, and let's go have the best impact conference there has ever been. Thank you very much.
SPEAKER_02That was awesome. Great, great, great, great job. You guys like it? Alright, can you guys hear me enough? Yeah. So many people back then. Wow, how am I cool?
