SPEAKER_02Okay, we're here discussing rules of a dinner party. When you're invited to a dinner party, I'm not. When you sh when should you respond?
SPEAKER_00As soon as you get the invitation.
SPEAKER_02Bingo.
SPEAKER_03Alright, I gotta put it in.
SPEAKER_02If you're invited to a dinner party.
SPEAKER_03Of course you're his CPA.
SPEAKER_02If you're not married and you're invited to a dinner party, do you bring your boyfriend, girlfriend, or significant other?
SPEAKER_00Only if it's specified on the invitation.
SPEAKER_02Speak up, girlfriend. People show up with this. They shouldn't. Can you bring your dog? No. Not unless it's a park festival. What time should you get there?
SPEAKER_03Five minutes late.
SPEAKER_02No.
SPEAKER_01Ten minutes early.
SPEAKER_03No. Never early. That's why I said five minutes late.
SPEAKER_01Because I always come, I always arrive early because this situation is a good thing.
SPEAKER_02You should not come early.
SPEAKER_01That's why they don't invite me to dinner parties.
SPEAKER_00Right on time.
SPEAKER_02No, Larry's close. Between zero and fifteen minutes after the schedule. That's right.
SPEAKER_03Like it's not on the top of your bucket list, but you do it an obligatory show-up.
SPEAKER_01Okay. Somebody in the New York Times.
SPEAKER_02What should you bring with you to the dinner? What's acceptable to bring with you to a dinner party?
SPEAKER_01Flowers or wine.
SPEAKER_02What's that?
SPEAKER_01Flowers or wine.
SPEAKER_02Flowers or wine is what they said. I disagree with the flowers. I disagree with the flowers.
SPEAKER_01You don't want flowers?
SPEAKER_02Don't bring food. Never bring food. Unless it's too much. Unless unless it's uh pot luck. My clean socks.
SPEAKER_03Clean socks, because if they say remove your shoes, please, you have to reveal clean socks.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I see. I disagree with the flowers part, but I think you're giving the host a job when you bring flowers. You got to get a vase.
SPEAKER_00Come on.
SPEAKER_03Wait a second.
SPEAKER_02That's me.
SPEAKER_03Is it vase or vase?
SPEAKER_02I don't know.
SPEAKER_03Terry?
SPEAKER_02It's it's I say vase.
SPEAKER_01Vase.
SPEAKER_02Vase.
SPEAKER_01Any vases here?
SPEAKER_02Any vases?
SPEAKER_01I say vase.
SPEAKER_03You say vase?
SPEAKER_00All right.
SPEAKER_03Rose Mary says vase. If you're from the Northeast, it's vase.
SPEAKER_00I'm from here.
SPEAKER_03If you're from New York, it's vase.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_02What should you talk about? What should you not talk about in a teleport? And religion.
SPEAKER_01And religion.
SPEAKER_02No, politics and religion and politics. Sports. They say you should not talk about sports.
SPEAKER_01What are you gonna talk about? I like that.
SPEAKER_02Because you might get it somebody who would be anti-U. And then they had this thing. This isn't really a question. It was kind of funny to me though. Like, how do you start a con what's the best way to start a conversation with somebody?
SPEAKER_03What's tomorrow's weather?
SPEAKER_02No. What's the best sense? What's the best question you could ask them? What was yesterday? If you don't know them. If you don't know them.
SPEAKER_03What do you do? One ply or two ply? No. Where are you from? Oh. And then your comeback always always says.
SPEAKER_02But they said, but the guy who wrote the artist says, you should ask interesting questions. Like, I should say to you, Larry, what is inspiring you today? Who talks like that?
SPEAKER_01And if you ask me that, I'd say, no way. I can't.
SPEAKER_03Knowing that the sun is going down shortly.
SPEAKER_02Okay. This is this now, just generally, what should you always do at a dinner party?
SPEAKER_01Thank the hosts.
SPEAKER_02Yes.
SPEAKER_01Leave on time.
SPEAKER_02No. No.
SPEAKER_03That's not completely accurate. Don't ask, where is the bathroom?
SPEAKER_01No. I think you should. I think it's a that's a good question. What should you always do?
SPEAKER_02What should you always do at a dinner party?
SPEAKER_01Clean your plate.
SPEAKER_02That uh cut you close. Over clean your plate. No.
SPEAKER_01Say how delicious it is.
SPEAKER_02Well, that the food is good. You clean your plate, you ate everything. What else should you do? Don't belch a dinner party.
SPEAKER_03Just hold your belch back. Okay.
SPEAKER_02Help clean up. Ah. Always help clean up.
SPEAKER_00Yes. But what if everyone got up to clean up at the end of the day? At the same time. Chaos. I don't know if we'll move.
SPEAKER_02Always volunteer. Wait a second. Wait a second.
SPEAKER_01Is this a catered event or a non-catered event? Non-catered. Oh, okay, because if it's catered, you don't go to the kitchen.
SPEAKER_02And finally, finally, when do you leave?
SPEAKER_00After dessert.
SPEAKER_03Oh. After you say you have a very important engagement to attend.
SPEAKER_01Well, I I'd actually like we've we lived in in France for a while, and what they would do, people would stay forever, is the hostess would bring out. She'd bring out orange juice. And when you got the glass of orange juice, time to go. Really? Really?
SPEAKER_02I never heard of that. That's a good one.
SPEAKER_00Well, my old boyfriend hosted dinner parties left and right. And when he was done, he would stand up and say to everybody, Okay, it was nice to have you. Good night, everybody.
SPEAKER_03Really? I'm going to bed.
SPEAKER_01Sometimes that's enough to see my husband. He says, I'm going to bed. You guys say what you want.
SPEAKER_02I used to flash the lights.
SPEAKER_01Did you roll it? That's true.
SPEAKER_02But the correct answer is, Kite, I don't leave as early as you can. Get out. Once you eat, a little bit of cut, get out. Don't hang around.
SPEAKER_00No going for cigars.
SPEAKER_02No, no, no. Get out. The party's over.
SPEAKER_01Hi.
SPEAKER_02And that concludes today's dinner party competition.
