Today's guest, Dr. Oluwole Babatunde, in his own words: "I was born and raised in Nigeria, where my life was forever changed by the loss of both parents at a young age—my mother passed when I was 7, and my father at 13. These early experiences of grief and uncertainty could have broken me, but they instead ignited a deep sense of purpose and faith that still drives me today. I became a physician in Nigeria, then moved to the United States in 2014 to pursue a Ph.D. in Epidemiology. Despite the odds, I went on to publish over 60 scientific papers, win the prestigious NIH F99/K00 award, and become Chief Resident in Psychiatry at Prisma Health in South Carolina." Listen now.
