SPEAKER_02

Hey ladies! Welcome back to another episode of Ladies Love Country. We are here to give you the full scoop on our Nashville tea. We just got back from CMA Fest. Now, boy, it was crazy. It was actually a really fun festival. Yeah. I would say we probably didn't get to see that much of the festival.

SPEAKER_01

No, I think the last couple of days we saw more. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

The first two days we didn't see much at all. If you don't know what it is, CMA Fest is like basically this like entire uh city activation of Broadway, Nashville. They have like seven or eight different stages. They're all kind of like scattered around the city. The city.

SPEAKER_01

And it's all activated and it's all free. The only thing that's not free is there's like shows at the main outdoor stadium that night. That's the only thing you have to pay for. But other than that, every show is free, which is like wild.

SPEAKER_04

Cheers. Great to be here.

SPEAKER_02

Everyone say hi to Cody and the DJ Coach.

SPEAKER_04

Can't see you all, but hi.

SPEAKER_02

Can you go follow Luco?

SPEAKER_04

Luco. L-I-U-K-O music. Luco music.

SPEAKER_02

He's um he's the brains behind our our DJ DJ.

SPEAKER_03

Therefore, you probably don't want to throw someone in front of the bus just yet.

SPEAKER_02

Wait, that's we've just been offered to go to the house.

SPEAKER_04

I got the plug here, Jock.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Not sure how good of a plug it is, but let's let's just get past a few more crossfade issues and then here I was just trying to be a nice person, promoting promoting my friend social media.

SPEAKER_03

We're back in Australia, baby tall poppy syndrome. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

That's facts. That's facts.

SPEAKER_01

I love Bindog. Oh Tori Dark says, Welcome home, gals. Welcome home to you too, Tori. And she was one of the many Aussies this year, actually, who played at C Mayfest, which was so cool.

SPEAKER_02

So, yeah, a lot of Aussies came over. There was a couple of Aussies showcases. One of them was put on by Sounds Australia, which is like a big export agency trade body in Australia. And they brought out like a ton of Aussie artists. They performed at Marn's Barbecue. It looked so cool. Everyone was having their like smoked meat and their mac and cheese sides, and they were just living their best life listening to some fantastic Aussie country music talent.

SPEAKER_01

Aussie music is the way to go at the moment. It's like having a moment, which I love. Standout performances from CMA Fest. Oh, Bailey Hall asked, did the LLC DJ set make a day CMA debut? We didn't get on the decks, but we were behind the decks.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, yes. We were we hopped up for Country Night's DJ set. So if you haven't heard of them, also go follow them. It's country.night, I think. Yeah. They're sick DJs and good friends of ours, and we ended up throwing out some hot chicken with them during chicken fried. You basically stand there behind the decks when they play chicken fried and they just chuck ticket chicken tenders at people in the crowd. And boy, people are hungry and they're they want chicken.

SPEAKER_03

Bailey, it's probably lucky that they didn't get DJing this year. Like for them to go off the back of their one-year birthday straight into it their first international DJ season.

SPEAKER_01

We would have been too expensive.

SPEAKER_04

I charge commission as the teacher there as well. Price goes up.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, also, Bailey, I'd like to mention you said that we should bring our Revisi's DJ set to July to in July, to Brisbane, but we're actually doing a DJ set in Brisbane.

SPEAKER_02

True, it's better than an ounce, guys. We're basically hitting every single state in Australia. Uh news to our DJ coach over there.

SPEAKER_03

Brisbane, Adelaide, we're coming to capitals.

SPEAKER_02

Ladies of Country DJ set is coming to Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide. It's already been to Perth.

SPEAKER_01

And that's maybe as of today. Maybe. No, I don't think that's DJing. I think that's just vibes. But you know. I'd like to go to Darwin. So if there's any bars in Darwin that wanna us to DJ, let us know.

SPEAKER_02

Is there any country bars in Lord Howe Island?

SPEAKER_01

Oh I've that's very important.

SPEAKER_03

Take the girl out of the east, but you can't take the east out of the girl.

SPEAKER_02

Is there any country bars in Ibiza? In Biza what? I'm sure we can get a DJ to Ibiza. Whatever. There's no DJ in Ibiza.

SPEAKER_04

Is there there's did you say is there country DJs in Ibiza?

SPEAKER_01

Country country bars. Did I say that? We could 100%. I don't know.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, you can create one. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

For sure. Um, where is it in in Brisbane?

SPEAKER_02

It's a place I don't know. Oh. Hang on, I'm gonna pull it up. Bailey's asking. Oh, Bailey, don't you fret. It's the young Henry's, go onto their page, go check it out. We are gonna be going on the Kingswood tour bus. Okay, guys. If you go and follow them too. Uh here I am, just being the poppy of all, the short puppy. Um, so Archive Beer Boutique. The location, the DJ. And it'll be on it doesn't say where 27th. Yeah, sorry. Yeah. Archive West End on the 27th of June.

SPEAKER_01

We've been given a Darwin bar recommendation. Monsoon bar. Thanks, Danny.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, I was that's the one I was I was literally gonna jump in and say that. Monsoons. I've had a mate, one of my mates has played there. Apparently, it's amazing. It's a vibe.

SPEAKER_01

Monsoon.

SPEAKER_04

Actually, I I can we I can get the Kinect sorted. The promoter. I got the Kinect skills.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, wait, what's what have you here for? What state haven't we touched?

SPEAKER_01

No, that would be Northern China.

SPEAKER_02

That's the only one. So we play all of them.

SPEAKER_01

No, Melbourne. We haven't done Melbourne.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, Melbourne country bars. Sign to our DMs because we're getting booked up. Okay. We need to we need to close out 2026.

SPEAKER_01

That should be our new bingo um card, is all the different okay. What cool people did we hang out with? Um, oh, did you know that?

SPEAKER_02

I'm not watching the chat. I was that was my job. I'm gonna I'm on TikTok too. Are we on any Australian rodeos? Uh potentially one in Tassie. At the moment we don't have any rodeos in the cards. We're busy girls. Yeah. Did someone ask who we met? No, that's what I was asking about.

SPEAKER_03

A rodeo in Tassie be sick.

SPEAKER_02

Well, that's what we got a DM about. So potentially.

SPEAKER_03

Before before we shift away too much into the questions and everything like that, do you want to just wrap up um CMAs and stuff? Yeah, that's what we were gonna talk about. With one question starting off from me as we move away from the questions, but I'm gonna throw one in.

SPEAKER_02

You know what? Can I put my hand up?

SPEAKER_03

No, no questions from you. Um would you recommend for Aussie punters to make a trip of going to CMAs and like that week and stuff?

SPEAKER_01

Yes, I actually think if you're a country music fan, CMA Fest, I would go ahead of Stagecoach. I would second that. Because the amount of artists that play at CMA Fest, if you want to go to Nashville to see American artists, CMA Fest is the place to do that.

SPEAKER_02

Everyone's there. You don't get great access, like you can be right at the front of the stage if you want to. Yeah. And like, not in the stadium, but like it's still really good, really good exposure to the artists. Whereas at stage codes, like, unless you get like the VIP pit tickets, which are so expensive, you're at the back.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, you're not as close. I would also say it's like groundwater. When you're walking around groundwater in when there's a festival in Gold Coast, you run into artists, you like it's such a community, and like the artists will just be walking the street going to their next stage. That happens at CMA Fest as well. Like Dasha did a line dance on the street at Broadway. Like it's very, like, there's no the artist and the audience, it's very a whole mix of people, which I think is way more fun. Yeah, it is way more fun. Guys, we need to talk about Morgan Mall.

SPEAKER_03

Which we keep talking about. Oh, you've been subtle about it.

SPEAKER_01

Thank you.

SPEAKER_04

It was I have I have a question. What was the main highlight of Nashville?

SPEAKER_02

Great question, Cody.

SPEAKER_04

I can't remember. Oh, Morgan Warlin. Wasn't that in Denver?

SPEAKER_02

Warlin.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

It wasn't Nashville.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, but like we flew from Nashville to Denver. No, I would say, I would say meeting Laney Wilson again was a huge highlight. Like, obviously, she's the most iconic woman on the planet Earth. She's so nice. Like, so nice. Our favorite Germans on the line. Come back, Gloria. Okay. Secondly, I would say the Florida Georgia line reunion. I'd actually say that's my number one. It was very cool to see them back together. It was the first time they've been, the band has rejoined for five years. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And that was pretty cool. And they were just so happy on stage. And I feel like I loved seeing the diehard fans in the crowd that were probably like, I wasn't I didn't think I was ever gonna see them perform ever again together. And then you you're there, and it's like so crazy.

SPEAKER_03

I didn't know it was gonna be a thing, and then and I was surviving being okay with your socials and and keeping up online, but then I saw that and I was like, I need to be over there.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, as in like you didn't have FOMO until you saw that.

SPEAKER_03

Well, there's always FOMO, like when people are in Nashville, but you know, you're kind of like uh we can manage it. I also knew that you guys were working pretty hard behind the scenes as well, but then saw that and I was like, oh, that would be a pretty iconic performance to see.

SPEAKER_01

Were you are you a Florida Georgia Lion fan?

SPEAKER_03

Big fan. We went and saw uh what's old mate's name with the long hair?

SPEAKER_01

Tyler Hubbard.

SPEAKER_03

Tyler Hubbard. We went and saw him when he was in Sydney.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, we've seen him twice actually.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, okay, not as big as you then, apparently.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, we're bigger fans.

SPEAKER_04

I've actually also seen them perform. Really? Years ago. FGL. Yeah, FGL. Let it be. Let it be. Me. Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

It's not a competition.

SPEAKER_04

We're not going to tell them that.

SPEAKER_01

No, that's actually better. I've never seen FGL until that time.

SPEAKER_04

I saw them at Rock the South in uh where was it? It was when my buddy was living in Alabama when I first moved over to the States. When I was studying music. What? Yeah. Vibes. Shout out FGL.

SPEAKER_01

Shout out FGL Come Back to Australia.

SPEAKER_02

They actually had cool hats that said.

SPEAKER_01

L F L It said nothing. L F G F G L. I was doing it in my head too.

SPEAKER_02

I didn't want to fuck it up. Was it really long, the pause? I couldn't see the brains. Dave had so much in my brain the last couple of days. So, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

What was your third highlight? You one, two, and um, probably hanging out with Waka Flucka.

SPEAKER_02

So jealous. I love my rappers.

SPEAKER_01

So guys, he what does he sniff it? What does he do?

SPEAKER_02

I don't know if he was pulling our leg when he said that.

SPEAKER_01

I I he was dead serious.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, so we're gonna I'll stitch the video, but Wackaflucka told us that he did something really strange. Like really, really strange. And not yeah, just very out of character. So like he has been on a breathwork, meant mental blah blah blah wellness journey, and he told us that he does this specific type of like meditation and breath work whereby he brings in, he called it cow dunk, but it's like cow poo. Yeah, and he brings that into his hotel room in Nashville, and he puts it inside this like with some other like herb or something. Yeah, in a copper triangle. And there was like a copper triangle, like a like a pyramid kind of thing, and then he smokes that and then he does his breath work at the same time.

SPEAKER_01

And he has cows specifically just to be able to get their manure, or and then he's gonna call the cows Aussie, Aussie, Aussie.

SPEAKER_02

Oi, oi, oi.

SPEAKER_04

I didn't know whether it's the craziest stories I've ever heard.

SPEAKER_02

I didn't know whether he was like fully pulling our legs. No, I feel like he wasn't. But because like I just he was he was so deadpan about it.

SPEAKER_03

They also don't do sarcasm over there.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that's true. I will say that. They're not they're nowhere near as funny as me.

SPEAKER_04

I feel like LA they do.

SPEAKER_01

Could be a yeah, but then I don't think Walker's from LA. Yeah. I'd also say one of the highlights was going to dinner with Kevin Powell. Shabuzi's best friend.

SPEAKER_04

Hold up. How many, what's the celeb count out? How many celebs, rappers, artists have we have you guys met?

SPEAKER_01

Have we met too many? Oh, over a hundred.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, okay.

SPEAKER_01

Like so many people.

SPEAKER_02

So many, yeah. I don't know if you would really like I feel like now it's kind of like we're a few degrees of separation away from most famous people. But to go to dinner with Kevin Powers. He invited us to dinner.

SPEAKER_01

Well, by dinner, we just had margaritas. I I ate like five bowls of corn chips.

SPEAKER_02

Yes.

SPEAKER_04

Who paid the bill or did he pay the bill? He did.

SPEAKER_02

What? Sorry, actually, he didn't. I don't think that was.

SPEAKER_01

Tell the story. We were as we were paid. I probably had like seven margaritas, and he had double what I had. So he probably had 14. He also had two friends, three friends that two friends? Two friends. Two friends that had joined who had four each. So we're racking up like almost 30 margaritas, right? So at the end of the Plus, I reckon he had 15.

SPEAKER_04

He was like a floor.

SPEAKER_03

On Nashville prices, too.

SPEAKER_01

Yep, Nashville prices.

SPEAKER_04

And American, like American measurements of drinks. Like you one margarita over there is completely different to a margarita over there.

SPEAKER_01

I held myself pretty well with my six margaritas. Anyway, um, at the end of the night, um he asked for the bill and he gets the bill, and no one else was watching. I was the only one watching him, and he goes to Tappy's card, and in he says to himself, this is a business expense, and pulls out his card. His business card and tap's card. So he's gonna claim it as a business meeting.

SPEAKER_02

Technically, it was a business meeting.

SPEAKER_04

I would do that, I would a thousand percent do that.

SPEAKER_01

I've actually done that on my on my bro, why why are you buying 30 margaritas in a business meeting?

SPEAKER_03

That scene from Wolf of Wall Street. What's the $30,000 sides? Oh, the sides came with no clothes on.

SPEAKER_04

Oh yeah, TNE. TNE.

SPEAKER_03

TNE.

SPEAKER_01

Guys, this is a lady show. Yeah, sorry. Okay, what? Bailey said, bro, some of the stories Holly looks gone. Bailey, I didn't have a sip of alcohol the whole time except for the margaritas. Yeah, the margaritas. Explains why.

SPEAKER_03

Someone was a bit um gun shy after last time getting first night fever.

SPEAKER_01

I got way too drunk last time we were in Nashville. So I actually didn't drink any alcohol except for with Kevin Powers. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

And then I I had to force them down a throat.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Grace kept being like, another one for her.

SPEAKER_02

I was like, another one, another one goes home. I was. I did. I was like, we'll have another one. And then I was like, no, and I was like, you're up and have another one. But yeah, Suparica was the place we went, and it was top tier. Like, I would go we're going back there every time. Oh, it was so good. The other the other place that we would recommend being Nashville locals that we are now is um Two Hands, which is like obviously if you like coffee and you're Australian and you go to Nashville, that would be the one spot that you have to go to. Yes, I would go.

SPEAKER_01

We actually have been thinking about doing a little like itinerary people can purchase with our recommendations for Nashville. If this is something you'd be interested in, let us know.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Um letting you know.

SPEAKER_01

Thanks. BG Jobington.

SPEAKER_04

Doc and I are going on our own trip. Now that you girls were going to be able to do it.

SPEAKER_01

We'll give you the itinerary.

SPEAKER_03

Maybe we go on the line dancing.

SPEAKER_04

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

You should come to the context for sure.

SPEAKER_03

No, because that one's meant to be all about you two. If we went, what's that Brent?

SPEAKER_02

We would steal the show, Jock. Redstone Ranch. How's it going? Um also we went to the softball game. That was so cool. Riley Green and Zach Top in softball pants. Watch the fuck out.

SPEAKER_03

What's the difference between softball and baseball? Why you kept saying softball, isn't it? Baseball.

SPEAKER_02

They called it softball. I actually don't know the difference. I don't know the difference.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I feel like it would be baseball. No, you better definitely soft it. I went to a softball game in a minute.

SPEAKER_01

Softball? No, it was definitely softball. I think the ball's softer. The glove? The glove? You have a glove when you have softball.

SPEAKER_04

Hold on. Were they throwing it this way? Were they throwing it overarm or underarm?

SPEAKER_01

Do you think we were paying attention that I we were just looking at the green's muscles? Let's be real. He was stretching.

SPEAKER_04

I think I saw a story about it, actually.

SPEAKER_02

He was stretching the um baseball bat and then he was practicing his swing. And I wasn't really paying attention to it.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. Angie says softball is a bigger ball. There you go. Okay, well, thank you, Angie.

SPEAKER_03

Ladies love softball.

SPEAKER_02

Angie Abbott. We do we did love. No, hang on. Hold on.

SPEAKER_04

What's the what's softball's not the one where it sits still on the on the peg? Like it's what's that one?

SPEAKER_01

I don't know what that T ball. That's T-ball. Okay.

SPEAKER_04

Wild. Wild times.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. You need to calm down in there, Jock.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, I nearly had her too. She nearly said it.

SPEAKER_02

Guys, if you like the idea of the touch football game, of the softball game, we are going to be doing our inaugural Ladies Love Country touch footy game. So we're going to be doing it on the 22nd of January. It'll be at the same location in Viaduct Park.

SPEAKER_01

And we're going to have Elle's fried chicken there. He hasn't come for we haven't actually talked to him about that, but I'm sure he'll be down for it. Um, so the best fried chicken you'll ever have in your life will be there. And yes, we've been doing our research, so we can also include that in the National Guide. Yes, true. Which will be fire. Yeah. Um, but yes, the football game. We had 40 artists this year participate in the game. So we're expecting, if not more, I think this time. This year. That was this year at the start of the year. Crazy. It feels like Oh, Bailey Hall has said only he'll only go if there's an after party. Yeah, we're gonna have an after party at the back. I can pretty much guarantee that.

SPEAKER_04

Featuring DJs.

SPEAKER_01

And we're putting it at night so that it's not as hot. So it will be like under lights. Yeah, under lights. It's gonna be Friday night lights. Someone call Winter Mason. Let's go. Don't tease me like that. Um it's gonna be so much fun. So put the date in your calendar Friday, the 22nd of January. Oh our favourite Wet Whistle is also on the Jake here.

SPEAKER_02

You can't call it a favourite. Well, he's the only one that's on the live, so uh, I have a confession to make Jake. Oh. At our birthday party, I accidentally called you the honorary honorary mention honorary member of the Wet Whistles. But in fact, I thought honorary meant honorable. Nobody told me that it didn't. My mum came up to me after, she's like, Grace, that Jake, he's still in the band. I go, yeah. She's like, well, you called him the honorary um member, and I was like, Yeah, mum, like, and and she's like, you know, that means that you're implying that he's not in the band anymore. I was like, my whole life I lived alive. Anyways, apologies, Jake. You are still in the band. He's still in the band, and he's our favorite member. So, yeah, it happens to the best of us, okay?

SPEAKER_01

We've got Jessica from South Carolina on. Stop it, no. It must be so late or early over there.

SPEAKER_02

So cat so co.

SPEAKER_03

Really? Oh. Really?

SPEAKER_02

What time is it in South Carolina?

SPEAKER_03

I passed.

SPEAKER_02

No, I'm gonna ask Sarah. Whatever her name is.

SPEAKER_04

Five AM according to Google.

SPEAKER_02

Oh bright and early. Wow, she's with the morning with the day in South Carolina. What's South Carolina like? I wonder.

SPEAKER_03

Similar to the North.

SPEAKER_01

Um, she said she's a nurse. And so she's up early. It's 5 a.m. Oh. Well, thank you for participating in our live, Jessica.

SPEAKER_03

Good morning. And thank you for saving some lives.

SPEAKER_02

Yes. Shout out to our first line workers. Is that what they call them? Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Oi, let's just stick to the country music, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Do you have? Oh, okay. I want to do a um I wanted to talk about this on the podcast. I have a new favourite band, and I actually have Jock to thank for this, and I want to do a shout-out to the band. Um, Colton Moore and the Clever Few. If you have not heard of this band, you need to go and listen to them. They are so good and they're like so undiscovered. And they were actually playing in the studio. Jack Jock was playing them and before we left, and now I'm absolutely obsessed with them. So make sure you go follow them. Um, we've been asked if we're going to Boots and Beats on Saturday. What's that? I don't know where that is. Travis McSweeney asked. No, I don't know where that is, Travis. We're having a weekend off this weekend. We are. Well deserved. Yeah. God, say it to yourself.

SPEAKER_02

Can you can you tell me your cowboy crush of the week, please?

SPEAKER_01

Cowboy Crash of the Week! Do you have one in mind first? Ah yeah. Yeah, okay, you go first. No. Why? Who do you want me to say? My cowboy of the first one. No, no one. I'm just curious.

SPEAKER_03

Um you sure you're not crushing on Well, I I'm guessing that Grace is fishing, but I Yeah, that's what I'm trying to figure out who she's fishing for me to say.

SPEAKER_01

No, I'm not.

SPEAKER_03

I'm just curious.

SPEAKER_02

Um, do you have a crush from the last week?

SPEAKER_03

There we go.

SPEAKER_02

No, I actually don't. Like, what do you mean? Why are you laughing?

SPEAKER_01

I don't know. You don't have one? No, I don't think I do. What?

SPEAKER_03

Please explain.

SPEAKER_01

Is it Tim McGraw? It's not Tim McGraw that that's. Can we take a moment to talk about Tim McGraw? Oh my goodness. We were not expecting that.

SPEAKER_02

I liked it and I loved it.

SPEAKER_01

That's one of his song titles.

unknown

You can look it up.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, my cowboy crushes Morgan Mullen at the moment. That's what I'm gonna say. There we go.

SPEAKER_03

Actually, you gotta paint it across her front.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I'm obsessed. During the concert, I was like, I used to be obsessed, like I am still obsessed with him, but a bit more, I used to be, and now it's just like all come back, and I'm like fully obsessed again.

SPEAKER_04

Polly, rate the rate the walkout out of 10.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, I loved it. Except he didn't have a um zero one. He didn't have a guest. Disappointing.

SPEAKER_02

Although, although I did really enjoy Theo Vaughn's like a little intro with him.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, Grace is obsessed with Theo Vaughn. Is that what why you were feeling with the cowboy? Who's your cowboy crush?

SPEAKER_04

Not telling. Waka flucker.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, Danny, yes. Danny's saying how Tim McGraw was in the Flicker movie.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, I pictured Tim McGraw and like this is me being ignorant. I did not do my research on what Tim McGraw looks like today. I like saw a video or put a photo of him like from like back in the day, like when he was like releasing his music and like when he was on Flickr.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

He's a different man.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, he's way different.

SPEAKER_02

He was so fake tanned. Yeah. Or like or like Salarian. Like he was like, I imagine him like sitting in like the slere with his little goggles on, like. And he was jacked.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. And he was jacked.

SPEAKER_02

And he was wearing lace.

SPEAKER_01

The veins, it was just like he was flexing the whole time.

SPEAKER_02

It was so entertaining. Yeah. I loved his performance.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it was good. It was just the look was a bit.

SPEAKER_02

It was like so far away from what I was expecting, which I find very funny. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

That was very funny. Um, Jessica asked if we met McCoy more. We actually didn't kind of, but I was at the bar at Losers with him, and I was gonna go up and talk to him, but I didn't. Um I there? You were outside. Oh I was with someone, I can't remember who. And I was like, oh, should I go up and talk? He was in his baseball outfit, and I was like, should I go over and talk to him? But I got too nervous.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, yeah, we we walked past him when he was performing um at Toby Keith. Who's a daddy, and he was really good. And I was like, I like it. Everyone's been yapping about him recently, and I was like, oh, I've never really listened to him or or heard him play, but he was really good.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I hope he comes to Australia next year. I think he'd be really good. Surely, wait, so who's your cowboy crush?

SPEAKER_02

I thought we were gonna pass that. Um who am I gonna do today?

SPEAKER_03

We're not asking that.

SPEAKER_02

Too many questions. That's not funny.

SPEAKER_03

I got a giggle out of the peanut gallery.

SPEAKER_02

Um is anyone controversial online? It's fine. Uh D-Rock. Oh, he's actually on. No, he's not. D-Rock's a DJ, guys. He told me he loved me. Check my DMs. Ow DMs. That's it.

SPEAKER_01

That's it. Oh, I was expecting more than that.

SPEAKER_02

Nah, that's that's oh I my my cover crush is always Bailey Zimmerman.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. I was told let's talk about that for a second. So we got told from insider information that Bailey Zimmerman. Who was that? Kevin Powell's that Bailey Zimmerman checks his DMs. So I'm like, sweet. I go on to our Instagram the other day, go through our DMs. Oh, who's been replying to Bailey Zimmerman's stories?

SPEAKER_02

She goes, Oh, sending a few DMs out there. I was like, shoot your shot.

SPEAKER_03

He didn't reply. Apparently he didn't. Was there anything of substance that had been sent?

SPEAKER_01

No, all she said was date for it. We can do better than that.

SPEAKER_02

Did we have a live television type?

SPEAKER_01

But he really, if we can apply into Bailey's DMs, you've got to do better than that.

SPEAKER_04

No, he didn't even know. Oh no.

SPEAKER_01

And apparently he reads all of his DMs, so just keep shooting there, guys.

SPEAKER_02

I thought if it came from a blue tick, he'd read it. So I'm not gonna do it in my personal because yeah. He's gonna blue tick messaging me.

SPEAKER_01

Anyway, oh, this is what a girl gets for shooting her shot.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Um, Danny said you miss 100% of the shots you don't take.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, heck yeah. Facts.

SPEAKER_04

Love that quote. Love that quote. Absolute facts.

SPEAKER_02

Danny, would you like to be a motivational speaker in this hard time? Please. I'm gonna get a DM from Danny soon. Just need one from Bailey. Well, um, it was a good trip in in all. Would you say not a word came out of my mouth.

SPEAKER_01

I know. Why did you say what did you say?

SPEAKER_02

No, I said it it was a good trip.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, all in all, would you say? I actually think it was probably my favourite one we've done. Wow. Out of the three, what would you rank out of the three? Uh so we have we went for CMA awards, we've been to Stagecoach, and we did CMA first.

SPEAKER_02

Uh yeah, I would say probably the first one was my favourite. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I think because it was the excitement of going to Nashville.

SPEAKER_02

There's a lot of adrenaline. Yeah. This one was definitely better than the last one.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. I think this one was better. Because we didn't see any live shows. We went to Stagecoach last time.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, but like in Nashville.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

And we just had meetings the whole time. Yeah. So yeah.

SPEAKER_01

That's why I like this one. It was like a good mix of both. And I l my new favourite place is Roberts. I actually love it. It's like the bar that all the Aussies go to after all the concerts.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, it's a bar.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Not just all the Aussies, all the internationals. Yeah, all the internationals. And so you just walk into the bar and you're like, I know everyone here.

SPEAKER_02

Everyone's there. It's like not like a normal bar on Broadway. It's like very small, very like it's it's old school. And we got to hang out with the winner of Big Brother. We swing, we swung dance. Swing dance. Oh my god, I met someone else today who knew him. Far out. Like I gets around. Okay. I'm gonna wrap up there before I say anything else controversial. Guys, thank you so much for joining another episode of Ladies Love Country. We will be putting out so much content in the next 24 hours.
