4, Trusting God’s Plan: Overcoming Challenges & Embracing Faith

Carla Shellis

In this heartfelt and spirit-led session, we begin with a prayer of gratitude and surrender—inviting God to lead, speak, and move in our hearts. Together, we dive into the story of the fall of Jericho from the Book of Joshua, unpacking how God’s plans often look nothing like ours—but are always filled with purpose, power, and victory.

Through personal stories and biblical reflection, I share what it means to remain obedient and full of faith even when the walls feel high, the silence stretches long, and the path doesn’t make sense. We explore the idea of “fortified cities” as the metaphorical strongholds in our lives—wounds, fears, and lies we've come to accept as permanent—and how, just like Jericho, those walls can fall through God's presence, not our striving.

We’ll also talk about the importance of standing in your “watchtower”—staying alert to what you allow into your heart and mind, and taking captive every thought that doesn’t align with truth. You'll be encouraged with practical tools to walk in healing and restoration: cultivating a grateful spirit, meditating on God’s promises, speaking life over your circumstances, and boldly visualizing the future He has for you.

This session is for the woman who’s ready to let go of old battles, reclaim her joy, and walk confidently in God’s redemptive plan. You are not stuck. You are not forgotten. You are being led—step by step—by a God who tears down walls and rebuilds futures with beauty and intention.
