Man, I am so sorry I have not put out a new episode in the last two weeks. It has been a very intense, and I I just don't even know how to how to describe it. I had this whole Mother's Day special planned out, and unfortunately things got in the way. So happy belated Mother's Day to all you badass moms. And if you're a dad like me that raises a child on his own, happy Mother's Day to you as well. I hope you guys had an awesome Mother's Day. And unfortunately, if your mother is not with us, happy Mother's Day to them as well in heaven. So let's get to the big news. Man, I don't even know how to talk about this. So about four weeks ago, I was on Facebook, and the we have a battery plant here. It's owned by Stellantis and uh Samsung, which I work at Stellantis, I'm a security guard at Stellantis. So I seen what their starting pay was, which was ungodly, and I said, you know, hey, what the heck? So I put my app in, and about a week later, I got an interview. So I did my interview, and that was on a Friday, and the following Monday no, I'm sorry. Yes, I did my interview on a Friday, and by Friday afternoon, I already oh, I'm sorry, the following Wednesday, I got my offer letter, and I accepted it, and I did my drug test, and I my start date is the 8th. So my last day at my current job is the 29th, and I'm super excited. It's way more money than what I make now. The schedule is awesome, but that's not the best part. So me and my girlfriend both put in our applications at the same time, and my girlfriend is super smart, she has a bachelor's in human resources, and she graduates in August with her master's, and she also got an interview, and I picked her, I took her to her interview, and I picked her back up, and we were talking about it, and we weren't home 10 minutes, and she got a phone call from the lady that interviewed her asking her to put in for a supervisor's position and an HR position. And she looked up both jobs, and the starting pay for both of them is ungodly, and she did, and now she's waiting. They told her she would get her offer letter sometime this week, so we're waiting on that, and I'm just super proud of her. She's busted her ass for so long, and she deserves it. Her job now, she's in a kind of a leadership role, but the money that she's getting ready to make at Star Plus is outrageous. Like, I couldn't be any happier, and I'm ecstatic. I can't wait for this new change. Um, I kind of can't wait for the money and the benefits, and the schedule is amazing. It's like three on, four off, four on, three on. It's 12 hours, no big deal. I I can't wait. So, yeah, so the last three and a half weeks I've been dealing with that. Um, we are both just in a roller coaster of emotions because she never thought she would get be given an opportunity like this. And honestly, I didn't think I would get an opportunity like this. So we're both super stoked, and she's biting at the nails to get that offer letter, and so yeah, it's been a very chaotic last few weeks. Um, I was super excited to put in my two weeks' notice, and in between my two weeks' notice and me starting my new job, I scheduled it where I would have a week off so I can chill, unwind, and get prepared for this new opportunity. So, yeah, that's what's going on in the world of the CFG. It's it's definitely crazy, and I'm sorry that I haven't been here the last few weeks. I feel like I let you guys down when I don't put out a new episode. Um, I really haven't been on social media that much in the past few weeks, just because you know, dealing, getting through the background checks and physicals, and drug tests, and interviews, and combine that with, you know, my work schedule. It's it's kind of been chaotic, but I'm here and here's a new episode, and I can't wait to give you guys more details. I'm not gonna tell you what the starting out is, but it's it's like eight dollars more than what I've worked to make now. So yeah, I'm super excited. I'm sorry I missed you guys on Mother's Day. Like I said, I had a huge Mother's Day episode planned, and I just ended up spending the day with my mom, and me and Lindsay spent the evening together, and sometimes it's it's just hard putting out a new episode when I've got a million things to do, but I try, and I hope you still listen, and I'm still gonna make episodes, and and I got really sick. I was sick all last weekend, it was horrible, but I'm feeling better, and again, I'm so sorry that I haven't been here last few weeks. I am trying, and I know I've said that a million times, but you just gotta bear with me. Sometimes my schedule just doesn't allow it. It's not just work, it's also private life, and I gotta have my private life, so I know this is a short episode, but I just wanted to share the exciting news of what was going on with the CFG, and yeah, I just can't wait to keep you guys updated on what's going on and how the new job goes, and yeah, so thank you for sticking by me even when I disappear for a little bit.
