Hey my little social butterflies. Welcome back to another episode of Socially Stirred. You guys, so much stuff has happened. So much stuff. I don't even I don't even know where to start. Um first I do know that I need to make a correction from my last episode. So, you know, because I love me some Korean skincare, so I wanted to correct myself because I didn't research very good enough. I did, but I didn't. Um, Bioma is not a Korean-based skincare. Bioma is a United Kingdom-based skincare, but they do use some Korean skincare technology, barrier, you know, barrier protection. Um, what else did they the with the ceramitides and very simple ingredient focused based formulas. So that is my fault. I was corrected actually by um my little friend Holland Bonds. She was at a football camp with um her family and my family. Her brother does football with my son, and we were talking about, you know, my podcast and Korean skincare, and she's all about it. And I was like, Yeah, you know, I was talking about bioma. And I said, you know, it's Korean skincare, blah, blah. And she looks at me, she's like, Are you sure about that? And I'm all, and the way she said it, I was like, Yeah, nope, I'm getting schooled right now. So I re-looked it up and I was like, Oh, it is based on Korean skincare, but it is from the UK. So Holland corrected me and thank you very much for that. Um, but I still love it. Um, I got this new lip oil that they have out, and it's like pH based, so it's um like you when you put it on, it it does the natural pH of your lips. And um, let me just tell you, it is amazing. I love it. It's not sticky, it it's so good. It's the Bioma Lip Tide pH lip oil, and it is under $10 and it is amazing, and I will that will be a forever purchase for me. So um just wanted to get that little tidbit out of the way because I had to correct myself because I can't be, you know, not spitting the facts on here. So thank you for keeping me honest, and I still love it and I still would love for you guys to try it. Um, I still use the BioDance as well, and BioDance is strictly Korean skincare, so I wasn't all the way wrong, just halfway. Um, so I just wanted to, you know, bump get on here and correct myself. So what else has been going on, you guys? Um, okay, I gotta talk about one of my favorite, favorite things to do is well, I love I love food and I love to eat, but I also like to cook, but I also love to watch food influencers. Like I love them. I follow this one guy. I've been following him for a really long time and he's starting to get big, and I just really like him. Um his name is Rick Locks, I think it's Rick Locks, I think that's how you say his last name. Let me let me let me look him up real quick. Yes, he's on Instagram and I think he's on TikTok too, but I started watching him on Instagram and I just love him. He goes to all these food places, he goes to really fancy places, he goes to really whole-in-the-wall places, he goes everywhere, no judgment. He goes to it all. And I want to do that too. Like, I I love it. I love seeing new things, I love watching them order. I just love all the things. So um, that's one of my like fave things that I've been doing right now. And I also started following um what's her name? Is it comfy with Carrie? Okay, so this, and they these guys are all in LA, so they're all based in LA. So I started watching this one girl called Comfy with Carrie, and she is like, she's like going down and dirty. She's going around and she's like, is this place worth the hype? Nope, it's not. Is this place worth the hype? Yes, it is. So I'm actually loving that. She just did a review of Mr. Chow, and I I never, I don't, I never, I've never been to Mr. Chow, but it's it's some high-end, I guess, Chinese place in LA. And her thing is, I'm tired of pretending, you know, these places are scams and they're not, and blah, blah, blah. So she's going to all these places and she's ripping them a new one if they're not good. Which, if you guys, if they're charging hundreds of dollars for subpar food, yeah, I'd be mad too. Like, I hate wasting my money on food that's not good. Like, that is a pet peeve of mine. I get so mad. If it's good, I don't mind spending the money. Like, I love a good meal. You know, if it's worth the money, I'm in. Good drinks, good food, good ambience. I'm in. So this chick, she's going around and she's just like, you know, this place is so full of hype. Let's see if it's worth it. And sometimes they are and sometimes they're not. And so I just love that because I want to try every food place I can. So these people are helping me. So and I've seen some really cool, like hole-in-the-wall places that I would be like, I've never even would have tried that. And so now I probably have a list in my phone of like a hundred places, and I'm not even joking, of all these places I want to go. And I will get to them someday, like one by one. I will. Like this weekend, we were just um over at the Central Coast for a baseball game. And even though I try not to eat Mexican food when we're not in our town, because that's basically all we have here, and we have really good Mexican food, and so I try not to eat Mexican when we go other places because I like to try other things. But we did go to um this little Mexican um tackerilla place, and it was so good. We got the mango margaritas and we got the burrilla tacos, and they were delicious, and chips and salsa and the good chips, you know, like the thick, like really crunchy ones. Mm-mm. So good, so good, so good. So um, you know, that's my one, that's one of my latest obsessions right now is watching food influencers because I love it and I love all the new places, and it's just I I love it. That's you know, makes me happy. I love I love happy social media. That is what I'm all about, and food and skincare and trips. That's that's what I like to see. So that's what I like to talk about too. So that's what we're doing today. Um, what else, you guys? Oh, so speaking of food stuff, so we were just in Vegas. We went to on a work trip. My husband, we went to um, it's the Conag Expo. It's every three years. It's really fun. It's a huge equipment show, and not just like they have everything. They have programming, they have airplanes, they have uh airplanes, not airplanes, like jets. They have like business stuff, rock crushing, cement stuff, construction stuff, just anything and everything. So it's this huge show. And so we went and we had some really good meals. We went to herbs and rye. It was so, so good. Um, if you guys have the chance to get there in Vegas, um, I suggest go there. Their cocktails are to die for. They everything is just such a good meal. So, so, so, so good. We had so much good food. Um, and then we went to a new place we haven't been to. It was called Del Frisco's Steakhouse, and oh, it was so delicious. And I felt like a mob wife walking in because I got a black dress and I had I bought a fur coat, not a real one. Um, just a fake from Amazon. It was so cute though. Um, and it was just fun. It was such a good time. Um, great cocktails, again, amazing food. We I think we wanted to try to get to Golden Steer that night, but since TikTok has really blown that place up, it's nearly impossible to get a reservation. So we had to skip on that, which that's fine. We've already been there one time, so it it ugh, but I would love to go back, but it was still really good. And then our last night we went to this place called Super Frico, and it's in the Cosmo. And oh my god, it was so good. I had a peppercini martini, and then I tried a tomato martini. You guys, I can like taste it right now. So, so good. That place is really fun, it's kind of psychedelic-y, the lights are real dim. Um, they have characters walking around. I'll post some videos because I took a I took some video and it was really, really fun. They also do this table side mozzarella. You guys, that's the only reason why I wanted to go there. I had been there one other time with um one of my friends, but it was just the two of us. And this is a it's kind of a big plate, and so they're like, eh, four people probably. So I'm like, I don't want to waste the food. So um I was excited to go back with four people. So we did the tableside mozzarella where they make it right there with the warm water, and oh you guys, mmm, I do have video of that, so I will post that. Um, it was excellent, it was amazing, so so good. We had a great time. It was a good fun few days out of town. Um, also got to go to the sphere and see the Wizard of Oz, and that was awesome. I that place is so neat. It's it's huge, it's it's crazy. It is so so neat up close. And so we get in there and we go um get in line to get some drinks, which you guys, two drinks was fifty dollars. Um, they tasted just like a $12 drink, you know. So there's that. But I mean, you still gotta have a drink. So got a drink, and then we got to sit, we went to our seats, and I am scared of heights. So what we were on, I think our section was like 2 08. So we had to go up, you know, the escalator and stuff, and I was like, oh, this is getting really high up here, okay. And so then we go to our section and we're walking down, and my legs are shaking like heavy breathing. I just have to take slow breaths because I just I don't like it. It's very it is steep, but not as steep as some of the places I've been. And so we finally get to our seats, and I'm like, okay, I'll be fine, I'll be fine. But except what's nice about the spear is the little walkway in between when you're walking to your seat. It's a little bit wider than normal. So that is good. So you know you're you're very sure footed, thankfully. Um, it took me a few minutes to adjust to being up that high, but it is so neat, you guys. And so we're sitting there, and finally the movie's starting, and probably like I don't know, five or ten minutes in, I'm like, I have never seen The Wizard of Oz. I'm I'm I unless if I have, I honestly do not remember it at all. But I don't think I've ever seen this movie. Like none of it looked familiar. I mean, obviously, I know about the movie and I know of it and I know what it's about, but watching it, I'm just sitting there and I'm just like, this is all new to me. So that was a really, really, really cool experience because I it's obviously I was seeing it for the first time. So um it's really neat. If you guys get a chance to go, um I highly recommend it. They say, you know, the best seats are in like the 300s. To me, honestly, I don't think there's a bad seat in in that place. It was really, really neat. Um, at times when they're when the tornado was happening, you know, they have the the sound effects and they have, you know, live action stuff. And it really feels like dirt is hitting your face. It's crazy. Um, and they'll have like leaves fall from the sky and um butterfly. It's it's so it's such a neat thing. So I was really excited um to be able to go do that. So um me and my friend Charlotte, she was there with with me. Um, we had a great time. It was it was really, really fun. Um, glad we got to do that together because um that was not planned. It was, you know, a nice little treat. So that was really, really fun. Um, we also went to the spa because we we do love a spa day. Um, and that was nice. We got to sit in a hot tub. We got to sit in. I love to sit in the sauna, so I got to sit in the sauna, and then we both had massages and we both had facials, and it was just a great, great day. It was a great trip. We had some good times, so it was it was fun. I hadn't been to Vegas, I think it'd been like a year since I'd been to Vegas. So um, you know, and we stayed actually, we stayed down at the Westgate just because it's closer to the show, and so um, but that place, you guys, it was really nice. Um, I didn't realize that's where Elvis performed, like when he was in Vegas. So um it was really neat. It was nice. They had great um, they had a nice casino floor, they had a huge sports book. So um, if you guys are into that, that's a really nice one to check out. Um, it wasn't too smoky in there. A couple nights it got a little bad, but nothing crazy. Um, they did have $10 blackjack tables, which that is pretty much unheard of now in Las Vegas. So um, so that was neat. And so I won a few hundred bucks on a slot machine. It was fun. We had a good time. Um, you know, never, never a dull moment in Vegas. Um, I also made some fun TikToks. If you did see those, um, you guys, I don't know if it's my age. I don't know if it's because this is new to me, but making TikToks is so funny. And I was cringing at myself the whole entire time. I was just like, you guys, like this is what people do. And I was super self-conscious about it. I was just like, oh my God. Like, don't worry. If people are making fun of me, don't worry. I make fun of myself, so it's okay. Um, and I wasn't gonna post anything, and I was just like so embarrassed. And so I was texting with one of my friends and she's like, dude, who cares? Like, so what? People are gonna screenshot and talk shit. You do the same thing. Why do you care? And I'm like, you know what? You're right. Like, I don't care. I I will, I will not know if someone's talking about it. I won't. And if I do find out, is it gonna change anything? No, because it's whatever. So I did it, I posted the damn thing, and it's funny. I was like telling Robert, I was like, Do you see my thirst traps? I was posting. He was like, Oh my god, you act like a teenager, get out of here. And I'm like, it's so fun, it's fun and cringy. And I know my kid is probably just like mom, but it doesn't matter. Whatever. It was fun. I'm glad I did it. I had a good time. I had cute fits. You have to like you have to have evidence when you wear cute stuff. Cause literally I wear leggings all day long, every day. So when I have a cute outfit on, I'm gonna post it. So anyway, so that was that was a lot of fun. Um, I'm getting better. If you guys have been seeing my videos, I'm you know, trying like I said when I was saying earlier about food influencers, I love the like that would be my dream job. I would love to just go around and try food and get paid for it, like all the time. So I've been trying my hand at that and you know, making cute, funny videos. I just love all the fun TikTok videos. Like, oh, I don't know about the dancing ones because I'm a terrible dancer. I have no rhythm, I cannot none none of that. So, you know, the little whatever the little dance thing I did, that's probably as much dancing as I will do unless I'm just really making a joke of myself. So stay tuned because you never know. It's fun. We'll see. But um, what else you guys? Oh, so I think I talked a little bit uh in my last episode about you know health and wellness and all this stuff. Well, so I am straight up on this wellness journey. So I bought a vibration plate. I was influenced, um, sure did. I have used it every single day, though, you guys. And 10 minutes, it's all I do. Um, mid to high settings, and I just stand on it, it just shakes me all out. I love it. I do I see a benefit of it. I don't know. Do I feel better? Yes. I probably need to do it also in the evening with just my feet and my legs, and I think that will help a lot, especially like standing all day. But honestly, for 10 minutes in the morning, I stand in the sun, I like stretch. I don't hate it. Um, so if that, I mean, to me, that's health and wellness, right? So I do have one of those. I actually really like it. Um, for Christmas, I think I told you guys I got Robert a one of those like pop-up portable steam saunas. Well, guess who uses it all the time? This girl. So I've been loving that. I do want to get a red light though. Um I have been researching a few. Like I have been seeing the red light masks, you know, everywhere. And so I was I was looking that stuff up. And then they also have panel ones. And so I kind of think I want to do a panel just because I want the other benefits of it as well, like muscle recovery, you know, skin rejuvenation. So all of that stuff. So I've been looking at a couple. Um, I think I will probably pull the trigger sometime. I don't know. I just I need to look into a little more. I honestly, this is what I really want to do. Um, I want to rip out my bathroom completely. Sorry, Robert. Um, which he knows. I already told him he he's already like, I've seen it coming. Um, I would love to rip out my bathroom completely and do half of a sauna with a shower and like some red light stuff in that. Um, is that gonna happen? Probably not. Um, so I just got my little garage set up. It's totally fine. I'm I can I can adjust. Um, I also, for my health and wellness, well, this isn't really health and wellness, this is just uh bougie and spoiled. I bought one of those little towel warmers off of Amazon. Oh my god, I love it, you guys. Who a nice warm towel after you get out of the shower? I put my pajamas in it, I put my robe in it, I put my towels. It's so awesome. I love it. So, um, you know, my my health and wellness journey is going well. It is going well. Um, I just I don't know. I all these little things I think help keep the motivation, honestly. And at this age, whatever keeps you motivated, keep doing that. If getting a towel warmer gets you out of bed, get a towel warmer. If a vibration plate gets you up and gets your day going and like sets your mind, get a vibration plate. Like it's a small price to pay to help keep that momentum. And, you know, every little bit helps, okay? Every little bit helps. Um, so that's kind of, you know, that's what the that's what I've been doing lately. Um, you know, I do, oh my gosh, I have this funny story. And I was contemplating if I was even gonna tell it because it's so embarrassing, but I don't even care because it's been a few years and it was really funny when it happened, and I like wanted to die, and I haven't, I don't think I've been back to that place since because it's actually it closed the location I was at, and I think it's moved, so I probably won't ever go back. Not that I care that much, but so I I like cryotherapy, love it. I I think it's really beneficial, especially um, you know, for athletes, uh, people who are older, you know, joint pain and just your body breaking down. And so I would go to this place in Bakersfield, and um, it's like you go in this little thing for two minutes and your head's popped out of it, and you're in there and it's it's cryo, so it's like negative 200 and something degrees, right? So um I go and I'm like, hey, I want to do cryo and she's like, okay. And so it's it's really not really ever busy in there. There's like two, there's one cryo thing, and there's like four, two or three, maybe two or three. Um what are those little the salt, what's that called? Magnesium, not the magnesium, Epsom salt bath things where you like lay in there for like an hour. That is boring. Like I've done it a few times because it's very relaxing, but like I want to talk to somebody. I don't, I don't want to listen to the soft music for an hour. I can't do it. Robert absolutely loves it. He's like, that's the best thing ever. And I'm just like, I was bored after 10 minutes. Like that was a struggle. So they have a couple of those. And so I'm like, I'd prefer to get in there, do the cryo for two minutes, and be golden for like five days. So I went over there, I went in, I was like, hey, I want to do the cryo. And she's like, okay. And so you go in a room and you put a robe on, and then you come out, and then she She opens the thing up and she'll they'll like lower the little stand thing and then you get in it and they'll lift you back up. So your head's popping out. So we do that. And I had thought, like as I was standing there, because you can see like the front door and stuff. And so I'm sitting there and we're talking because they talk to you to, you know, um distract you because it's negative 200 and something degrees. It's freezing. And so we're standing there talking. And I had thought that I was up a little too high, but it had been a little bit since I'd been there. And I was like, oh, maybe it's just me. So I'm, you know, she's standing down there and I'm up there and I'm talking, and we're like, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And this guy comes in and he's like, oh, hey. He's like, uh, she's like, I'll be with you in just a couple minutes, you know, and in a in a few, we're almost done. He's like, okay, no big deal. And I, and we like, you know, make eye contact, and he just the way he looked at me was kind of like a smirk. Like, not a weird smirk, but just like, hmm. And I, to me, I'm like, oh, do I know this person? Because that happens randomly. And so he just kind of is looking at me with a little bit of a smirk, and then he just kind of like cocks his head a little differently, and then he sits down. And I'm just like, something on my face, like, does he know me? And then I happen to just like glance down because I'm like, you know, it's freezing and I'm trying to like take my mind off it. And then I realize I know why he smirked at me because he can see my tits straight up, full shot. And I'm just like, I knew I was up too high. And so I'm like panicking because I'm just like, cool, this dude, no wonder he smirked at me. And what am I gonna do? I don't want to embarrass this poor girl, it's not her fault. And nobody was in there, so it wasn't a big deal. And so I just slightly like just kind of ease down a little bit, and I'm just like dying inside you guys. I'm just like, oh my God. And I'm like, I'm not gonna make a big deal because it's there, it's titties, whatever. Like everybody has them. And so it's not like I can hide it now. I don't want to make it worse. And so I'm just kind of like slowly like scrunched down a little bit, and it's like, okay, we got like 40 seconds left. And I'm like, hurry up. And so we finish and I get out there, I get out, and then I go in my room and I'm like, okay, I am changing. I am not gonna make eye contact. Do I sit in here for a minute and pretend like wait till he leaves or wait till he gets in wherever? So I just get dressed, put my glasses on, and now I don't even remember if he was in there or not still, but I don't know. I just remember I just hightailed it out of there and I immediately call Robert and I'm just like, bro, guess what happened? And I'm just like, I told him the story, and he's like, You're joking. And I'm like, No, I swear. And he's like, that's funny. I'm all it was, I was so embarrassed. I'm like, poor dude. Like he he had no, he looked at me, not like in a creepy way, but yeah, it was just so yeah, that was my funny cryo story uh that I forgot about until I was back on my wellness jersey journey, and I was like, what else do what else do I need? And I was like, Oh, we can get one of those, you know, little ice bath things. And I was like, oh yeah, like the cryo thing. And so I don't know. I just I thought I had to share that because it is a funny story. Um, I was like, that guy had a good day. He'd probably tell his friends, guess what I saw at the cryo place. But as I was telling all my friends, oh my god, guess what happened? So um, so yeah, that was my that was my funny story. Hope hope that was entertaining for you guys because I got a kick out of it because I was just like, what do you do? What do you do at that point? Like I said, I didn't want to make it awkward, but I also was just like, Are you kidding me? I knew it. So oh well, it is what it is. That guy had a good day, apparently. Um, what else, you guys? So, um, oh, so Beverly Hills. Um, okay, still hate Amanda, still still can't stand her. Um, love that Kathy Hilton put her in her place. I'm still an episode behind because we were out of town. Um, so I didn't get to see that, but I've seen it all over social media. And um I don't hopefully this girl ain't gonna be back because she's kind of annoying. Um, what else? Oh, Rachel Zoe's house got robbed. I hate that. I which okay? So yes, they show their real houses and they show the stuff they have, and you know, Rachel's always like, I have vintage Chanel and vintage Dior and vintage Gucci, and everything I own is blah blah blah blah blah, which good for you. Like, I love that. I and girl, I want to see it. Um, but you guys don't have better security on your houses. I mean you like, yeah, that's my thing. Like, how I don't know, if you have all of that stuff and you are that well known, to me, you either have a private detail at your house or you have some really good home security because you're a target. You you just know that you're a target because how many of these houses have been robbed? Um, so Kyle has been robbed, Derit has been robbed. I just feel like, come on, get with it, you know, especially if you have that much vintage stuff that you cannot get back. So I don't know. I just I'm really sad to hear that, but I am loving this season. I am here for it. When they were in the Hamptons and Derit was buying anything and everything at that store, I loved it. Like, this is why I watch Housewives. Like, spend that money, girl, run that card. Like, how much more can you get? I I love it. And I love when Kyle's like, yeah, I'm going to the jewelry store because Kyle is a jewelry girl. She loves her some jewelry, but I just love that. And everything that Dorit put on looked fabulous. Hello. If I looked like that and I had the cash to spin, I would be the same way, Dorit. Like, I I love it. I don't know if I love her yet. I don't know. I'm I've been on the fence. Um, I mean, she looks amazing. I do think she's kind of ripping PK, but that's what happens in a divorce. I mean, she's they're they're just messy. Um, I don't know what she wants from him. Like, do you I don't know. I don't know. We'll we'll we'll see. Um and I love Bose. She's so sweet. I love that she's taking the girls to Italy because I haven't seen that yet. The last, I think that's the lapse last episode I've seen is where they were partying up in the Hamptons. I don't think I've seen that episode after that. Um but I just I love it. I that's why I watch Housewives. I want to see you on your trips, I want to see you at the store spending 10 grand, I want to see your cars. Like I, that's the stuff I love, and that's what I'm here for. And everybody's saying that this season is so boring. Uh no, it's not. No, it's not. Like you just then you don't know real housewives. So that is what I'm saying about that. Um, on to um you guys love story, JFK Jr. and Carolyn Bissett. Okay. So I was in love with JFK Jr. when I was younger. Like I was like, I'm moving to New York, I'm gonna find him and I'm gonna make him fall in love with me. Like I was dreams and goals. Um, you guys, I just oh, he was so handsome. And I did not like her. I was like, she's not pretty enough. Why is he with her? And so that was gosh, how old was I? 14, 15, I don't even know. Young. So obviously social media didn't exist. So everything that I knew about it, I saw on, you know, the celebrity tabloids, you know, the newspaper or magazines, excuse me. So I didn't know as much, obviously, as I do now because of social media and everything. Um, I'm just obsessed with this show. It's so good. Um Daryl Hannah's pissed, which I probably would be too, because they just don't portray her very well. And I don't really know much about her. And so for somebody who doesn't, if that's what they see, obviously I know you don't believe everything on a show or this or that, but damn, like um, I'd be pissed too if I was her, but it's still so good. And the press just ripped her up. No, I'm talking about Carolyn now. Um, the re the press just ripped Carolyn apart. Like, poor thing. And to live in the to live in New York then, it just it's a vibe. I to be able to go back to that would be awesome. Um, I do love her style, it's very iconic, it is very simple, it is very basic bitch, and that's what I love. Um, so I do love that. I didn't I didn't know she worked for Calvin Klein. So that was cool. Um, I didn't know she dated the one hottie from Baywatch. So that, you know, there's a lot of things to learn now that I obviously didn't know then because I was a young kid and I just thought I was gonna move to New York and marry JFK Jr. Um, so you know, that's funny to think about that. It's so funny. So I do remember, you know, when they got married, and I remember when their plane went missing, and I was like, oh my God, it's so it was so sad. It was such a sad thing. And um it's crazy to think how different how if anything would be different today if that didn't happen. You know, he was very not wanting to go into politics, and he wanted to be, you know, his magazine George. Like I remember when that came out, like I was like, I want to buy it. I don't even know if I ever did. I don't know, probably. Um, gosh, I should look in all my stuff because I am a saver. I wonder if I have one. I'll have to I doubt it because I would have seen it. But um, you know, to see how if anything would be different, like how his life would be if you know that didn't happen. You know, I I don't know. I just I'm really excited about that show. It's really good. If you guys need something to watch, definitely jump on that train. It's so good. Um, still watching Fear Factor. I'm um we're we're a couple behind because we have been gone, but um that's still so good. I still love Johnny. What else, you guys? What else have I listened to? I feel like I've been yakking forever. Um it's baseball season. So I will be very busy with that. Oh, I do know else what I have to okay. I do know what else I have to talk about. So um it's baseball season. So, you know, two nights a week, we're either home or gone. We have, you know, baseball. It's a very busy time. We've been baseball every single weekend, you know. I love this time of year, I love the seeds, which so you know, I talked about being on Zet Bound. Sunflower seeds don't taste so great anymore. I'm so sad, but it's okay. I probably don't need the sodium anyway, but um I am sad about that. But in other news, I do need to tell you guys. So um I have some changes coming up with my um with my hairstyling job. So I have made the decision to close my salon at the end of this month, um, at the end of March. I um was talking to another girl that I used to work with. Actually, she was when I first started doing hair, I think I talked about it in the first or second episode. Um, when I first started doing hair, I was an assistant and um I assisted for her for I don't even remember, probably five, at least five years. Not 10, not as long as 10, but somewhere between five and 10 years. So um we had talked probably, I don't know, a few months ago, because she has her own little salon and it's a two-room place. And I said, hey, if you ever, you know, decide to add somebody, let me know. I'm I could be interested, you know. I, you know, costs are going up. I'm ready, I might be ready for a change, you know. I would love to come work with you again, and so just let me know. And so that has been a little bit, and so um kind of forgot about it. Well, I got a text message, a text message a few weeks ago offering a spot for me, and um I'm taking it. I think it's gonna be a great thing for me and for her. It'll, you know, ease the financial burden on both of us. It'll give me less responsibility and having my own place and free up some funds and free up some time. And so, you know, I've been at my place for about 10 and a half years and I absolutely love it. My clients have loved it, it's been really good, but I am shifting into a new, you know, chapter in my life. And I think, you know, easing the burden of responsibility to me is gonna help a lot. And um I went and checked out the place. It's really cute. She's really excited to have me. So um, yeah, so the color bar salon will be closing. And my last day there is April 3rd, which my last day of work is actually, I think, March 26th, maybe 27th. I can't remember. Um, that will be my actual last day of work there. And then I will be transitioning, cleaning that place out, getting it ready for whoever's going next, and then moving all of my stuff to my new salon. And so, you know, it's kind of bittersweet. Um, but I'm really happy about it. I, you know, I don't, I don't feel any sadness. I I'm ready for this next, like I said, I'm ready for this next chapter. It's a good thing. I'm excited to, you know, be back um with Chase. That's who, that's whose shop I'm going to. And she's who I started out my hair career with. And, you know, next month on April, I think it's 19th, that will be my 22-year anniversary of starting hair. And I just think it's such a great thing to, you know, kind of be full circle that we're back together again. And so I'm really excited. She seems really excited. And then another girl that we used to work with, she has a little salon next door to that. And so I had seen her and I told her, I said, guess what, girl? Guess who's coming to, you know, Chase's shop? She's like, Yeah, I heard. I said, I'm so excited. I said, we're back together. We're all back together. So um, I'm really excited for this, you guys. So stay tuned for that journey with me. Um, and like I said, it's a good thing. I don't have any trepidation about it. I'm very like upbeat. I think it'll be good for both of us. And I'm just, I don't know, you guys, like I said, this year the vibes are it. And everything seems to be just working out. And, you know, I'm going for it. And I hope that is the way for you guys because um, like I said, this is a great, I feel like this is such a great year for everybody. And I'm really excited to see what happens. I'm really excited to, you know, like I said, have a little less responsibility. Being the boss is great. Like, don't get me wrong. Do I love doing whatever I want and nobody telling me what to do? Absolutely. But there comes a time when it's like, is that that's not what I need right now? I don't need all of that. I I want other things and to do other things. Sometimes you gotta, you know, give and take a little bit. And to giving up, giving up my own space for something else, I to me is the right move. And I still will have my own personal salon space. I I'm, you know, I have my own room at her place. She has her own room. You know, we share responsibility. I'm just, I'm really, really, really excited. And I can't wait to talk about it more. I can't wait to tell you guys about it. And so, um, yeah, so that's that that's that's what's been going on in my life, you guys. So hopefully it's been entertaining for you guys. I, you know, I I'm not on here as much as I want, but hopefully that will change. So that was also my goal to, you know, moving salons was to open up more time to do all these other things that I've been doing. You know, I've been, um, if you guys watch me on social media, I've been, you know, doing my Amazon stuff, my affiliate links, I've been TikToking more. And so I am just I'm I I love dumping my energy into all of these things. And so, whichever, however, I can do that, that's what I'm gonna do. And to me, right now, this is the right step, and I am just really excited. So I'm excited to take you guys on this trip with me. And um yeah, I just like I said, I'm really excited. So thank you for being here today. I, you know, I've already what what is it March already? It's crazy. Everything is just uh moving so fast. So, you know, but I'm so glad you guys are here.
