The most surprising part of weight loss isn’t the number on the scale—it’s the quiet. When the food noise fades, space opens for better choices, steadier routines, and a kinder voice in your head. In this conversation, we sit down with our esthetician, Damie, to unpack a year on GLP-1 medications—how weekly injections helped her curb cravings, why they’re a tool and not a shortcut, and the small daily moves that made the biggest difference.

We get practical and specific. Damie talks through real side effects like nausea, why eating enough matters, and how a protein-first approach calmed her stomach and stabilized energy. We dig into sustainable habits: simple breakfasts, yogurt and protein coffees, and avoiding greasy foods that trigger symptoms. Plateaus become solvable puzzles as she shares how rotating injection sites, adjusting meal timing, and staying consistent with meals reignited progress. Exercise enters as muscle insurance, not a new identity—short, tolerable sessions, light weights, and even boredom hacks to keep momentum alive.

What changes most may be mindset and social perception. Damie admits the mirror didn’t catch up right away, and body dysmorphia crept in despite compliments. Old clothes, photos, and community support became proof points. We also explore how confidence grew and how people started treating her differently—at work, with clients, and out in the world—despite her expertise being the same. It’s a frank, empowering look at how medicine, habits, and self-trust work together.

If you’re curious about semaglutide or tirzepatide, wondering how to manage side effects, or looking for honest motivation that avoids hype, you’ll feel at home here. Subscribe, share this with a friend who needs real talk, and leave a review with your biggest question so we can cover it next.

Welcome And Topic Setup

SPEAKER_01

Welcome back to Kutura Conversations. I'm your host, Lindsay, and today we have such a special episode. I am sitting down with one of our very own, our esthetician Damie, who's been on an incredible journey over the last year. We're talking about her experience with GLP1 medications and how they've helped transformed not just her body, but her overall health, mindset, and lifestyle. We'll dive into what inspired her to start her journey, challenges along the way, and how she found balance in wellness, skin care, and self-care throughout. Whether you're just curious about GLP1s, considering your own wellness journey, or just looking for a little bit of inspiration, this is an honest, empowering conversation that you won't want to miss. Welcome, Damie. Hi. How are you today?

SPEAKER_00

Good. How are you? Good.

Why Start GLP-1s

SPEAKER_01

All right. So what was the decision that finally decided, like, okay, I'm gonna make a change? What was the start of this journey?

SPEAKER_00

I think I always wanted to start, but I didn't know where. And so I was getting like kind of overwhelmed and like pushing it back, pushing it back, pushing it back. Um, and it just kind of became popular, like these GLP ones, but I didn't know too much about them. So I went on TikTok as one does, and I still didn't really get a lot of information. I think it was so overwhelming too that I was just like, no, actually, I don't even want to do this. But um, one of the providers said, was like, you could do it here, like this is where you'll start. Um, she was like, just call them and like set a consultation up, and I did. And even though I felt then I didn't get a lot of information. Um, I just did my shot that day and I want to help my life, but that's really where it started. I just knew I had to make a change. Um, it was hard, kind of like diet and exercise. It wasn't working for me. And I found this and it did work for me. So love it.

SPEAKER_01

What was that first experience like? Like the first day you took your shot? Were you nervous? Were you excited? Were you just kind of like, okay, like nonchalant? What was that day like for you?

SPEAKER_00

I was really excited actually. I I I think it was more like the gratification of like getting shot up with it. I was like, okay, this is gonna be fun. Um, but I was really excited because I just knew it's kind of like you know this is gonna work essentially. There's a lot of people who had so much um success with it. Um, so I was kind of like so excited that I wanted it to be like over with. I was like, I can't wait to lose weight. I so I was really excited, and I was just kind of like, okay, well, this is gonna be a weekly thing. And it's kind of fun, it's like a weekly ritual that you have, and you're kind of excited to get your shot that day.

SPEAKER_01

So before you started, did you know anyone personally who was on any GLP ones?

What GLP-1s Are And Aren’t

SPEAKER_00

Not like personally, I guess. Um, one of the providers mentioned that like Diane had been on them um or tried it, and I didn't really get to talk to her much about it. Um, but they were like, Yeah, she was on it, and she was open about being on them. And I was like, Okay, I'm gonna do it. But I don't, I didn't know anyone personally that has done it. I was kind of going in there blind. I was just like, oh, okay, like I guess this is what I'll do now. But I didn't know anyone personally, I didn't have any friends or even anyone at the spot at the time that were doing them. So I just kind of started. It's kind of like like I kind of felt alone at first. I was like, wait, I'm going through all this by myself. This is kind of scary. I don't know what I'm getting myself into essentially, but um now I'm okay. Yeah, I don't feel so much alone.

Side Effects And Early Changes

SPEAKER_01

So I'll back it up for just a minute. So for anyone who doesn't know what GLP ones are, um I'm not gonna go into the super like science background of it. We'll have one of our um uh nurse practitioners or PAs on here for one of those episodes that really dives into like the medical side of it. But if you don't know what GLP ones are, GLP ones are um the medications that are now also approved for weight loss. Um there is the name brand versions. There's also the um, I'm losing my mind on what they're called. There's also um the compound versions, yes. There's also the compound versions, which is what we carry at couture, um, which is going to be your semaglutide and terzeptide. And these are medications that have proven to help um with weight loss. They help with your um the mental side of it, they help with the physical side of it, slowing down your gastric emptying. Um, so they do a lot of uh really good things when it comes to uh weight loss. So um if there's anyone out there, they're they're everywhere and everyone talks about GLP1s and semaglutide and trazepatite and all the other name brand versions. But if you don't know what they are, they are weekly injections that you do take that will help with um aid you in weight loss. They are not magic. You can't just take them and do absolutely nothing else and see these amazing results. You might see some results changing nothing, but um, you know, they are they're an aid to help you. So just that's what we'll be talking about today in this podcast. But just for anyone who doesn't know, GLP1s are gonna be your semaglutides and your trisepatite injections. So yes, back it up before someone's the whole episode. Like, what are they talking about? Um, so speaking of changing anything, did you make any changes to like diet and exercise, or was your shot just your change?

SPEAKER_00

What did that look like for you? So I know people say that when they're on trusepatite, they don't have um a lot of side effects. That's kind of why people choose to go on that compound or that injection, but I had side effects. I was nauseous, I was throwing up. So I had to change what I ate. If I were to, if I were to still keep doing what I was doing, eating what I was doing, because that's what my issue was. I had a bad, bad eating habits. Um, if I kept with those bad eating eating habits, my body was like, no, like you can't be doing this while doing this. So anytime I'd still like choose a fast food option or something like greasy or fried food, I was nauseous and I was throwing up. So I had to change. So it was just kind of making more balanced decisions. Um so I think yeah, I had it it at first I wasn't, which is sounds bad because I I was still losing weight because you're just kind of eating like less of it, but I wasn't okay physically. I was not, I was having a lot of side effects. So I think at first I wasn't making any, I didn't make any changes, but when my body was like, hey, actually no, like you have to, then I started just kind of making like healthier like lifestyle options and choices.

SPEAKER_01

Would you say so? You've been on them for a good bit now, have those side effects do you get them at all anymore, or do you still sometimes have them? What does that look like for you now?

SPEAKER_00

I still have them. I don't know why. It's not something that I it's really in the morning. Um, or when I don't eat, you'd be surprised like if you you have to eat because then you will feel nauseous. Um, so if I go a little bit too long without eating in the morning, always the next day after my shot, I feel nauseous. But then after that, I'm okay.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I think that's true. With um, I some people I just feel like are more sensitive to medications. Like, I would say I'm I feel like I'm pretty lucky. I can take almost any type of medication, not just GLP ones, but and not really have side effects. But um, I do know like my provider over in Okoe, it didn't matter what she did, what she tried, she was gonna have a little bit of the side effects. But finding those ways to manage them is a little bit easier. Like you said, like choosing healthier options and better food choices um to kind of limit those. But some people do just still get them. Yeah, I'm one of those people. You're so lucky.

Protein, Eating Patterns, And Tracking

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Protein really did change. Like I was like, they're like, oh, you have to eat this much protein. I was like, Yeah, yeah, I'll eat a piece of chicken. No, you have to really eat so much protein. And I didn't realize that. And so I was kind of like over the side effects. I was like, okay, well, maybe they're telling me to eat more protein. Like, maybe I should just listen. So I did have like everything now I eat has like some sort of like protein added, whatever. And that did make a difference to just even the protein part.

SPEAKER_01

So did you ever use any tools like a like a calorie tracker or anything to like keep track of your proteins or your calories or anything, or you just kind of just went off like gut of like how you're feeling and how your body I didn't really use like any tracking, I just knew kind of like I always because you're you're gonna get full fast.

SPEAKER_00

So I always ate like my protein first, and then whatever like side I had, that's just kind of how I did it. Like I started doing like the protein coffees, eat like in the morning, um, and just like like the yogurt drinks too, like throughout the day. Um, that's just kind of I was just like, I hope I got my protein. I can't track that stuff.

SPEAKER_01

And that's so overwhelming. That's a lot of people are like that. When you put too much pressure, I feel like on, okay, I gotta eat this many calories, I gotta have this much protein. Like, that's not sustainable either. Like listening to your body cues and just kind of knowing, like, okay, I feel satisfied, I feel full, I don't feel nauseous, like, okay, then I'm on the right track. I think that honestly sounds more like a long-term way of living as opposed to living by a yeah, calorie counter or tracker.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I couldn't do that because when I'm out at a restaurant, I'm like, this has this much protein. I'm like, no, just give me some chicken. I just want to get some good food. Okay. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Um, did you notice any changes right away or did those changes take time?

SPEAKER_00

I didn't know change, I didn't see changes right away. Um, everyone told me that, oh, your face looks slimmer, but I didn't see it. So until like my clothes just started feeling fitting a little looser, had to buy new clothes. But I think that was kind of discouraging at first because like people were telling me, but I I wasn't seeing it. And I think that's a big thing too with these like GLP ones is that I was kind of hitting then like the mind part, like the body dysmorphia part of the journey a little bit because they're like, Oh my god, you look so good. But I'm like, but no, I look the same. But I I didn't look the same, it was just my clothes were fitting looser. I was like, I have to buy new clothes now, but I didn't really see a difference until I have to say a year in. Like I know there was a difference, but I didn't see it in myself, so it took me about a year to kind of hit that mental block.

SPEAKER_01

So can you tell us in your own words how did the medications help you?

unknown

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, so they really cut out like that food noise, and I didn't know even food noise was a thing until like I kind of went and did research because I didn't know anyone who was on TikTok. TikTok, yes, my TikTok research. Oh my god, that sounds so bad.

SPEAKER_01

Hey, we all get our research from TikTok these days, don't even.

SPEAKER_00

Um, because I didn't at the time I didn't know anyone that was on it, so I was like, okay, this is where I a vessel I could find people that are going through this journey. And when someone was like, oh yeah, the food noise is gone, I was like, okay, now I have to search up what food noises. I was like, oh yeah, I have that. Like I was always planning out my next meal. I was always like, okay, I'm gonna eat this for lunch, this for dinner, maybe a little snack. And that that was the first thing I noticed, like, cut it out. Like, I was like, wait, I'm I'm not even hungry right now. I should eat something, but I'm not hungry for something. I think it was more like of um, I was bored, I would eat, I was sad, I'd eat, I was happy, I'd eat. So that completely took that out, which I was like, oh, this is the best part. I don't even think even if I don't lose much weight, like if this is gone, I'm so happy about that.

Misconceptions And Mental Hurdles

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I feel like anyone who doesn't have food noise, it sounds crazy to them. And they're like, oh, okay, yeah, you just think about food. Yeah, we all think about food. Like, no, we literally would, I'll never forget one time we I was riding in the car with my husband. We were going to like pick something up. It was like 10 o'clock at night. We had eaten dinner, we'd have, I was so full, I couldn't even like think of anything else. All I could think about the entire drive was the four different places that we drove past that we could stop and get ice cream. Like and I was like, okay, we could go to this one, or this one has this. Like, I would constantly just be like, Oh, well, we could stop and get this, and you're so full. Like, food noise is it's real thing. Yeah, it's real, it's crazy. Yeah. What are some common misconceptions? I don't want to say common, but what are some misconceptions that you feel like people have about GLP1 medications?

SPEAKER_00

It's the easy route. That's all I hear. Oh, it's easy. It's not easy. It's actually really hard because you know you have to make some sort of lifestyle change. Um, and yes, it does aid you and it helps with that, but it's definitely not the easy route. I wish, and uh people who say that are really people don't deal with like that food noise. So they don't get it, but it's not easy. It's actually really hard to kind of like be like, I'm willing to take this life like lifestyle change and sit there and make the change and do what you have to do. I think that's always the hardest part. Um, so it's definitely not easy. That's not an easy change.

SPEAKER_01

Did you have any besides you're nauseous and you're not feeling great? Those are pretty, pretty normal. But did you have any hard parts of the this journey for you?

SPEAKER_00

I think definitely the mind, my part. I I had to like go back and like look at pictures. Like that's always what I did. I looked at before and after pictures because there were days where I'm like, oh, I'm I look the exact same when I first started, the exact same. And I didn't know I was gonna hit this like mental block because I never was like not confident with myself or anything. Um, but then everyone was like telling me, like, oh my god, it looks so different. Your face is like so much slimmer, but I I didn't see it. And so that mental part was really hard. Like, I remember one night I had to, it was like two o'clock in the morning, but I was like kind of getting overwhelmed about it. And I took out like all my old clothes and I literally put them on, so I could be like, No, you're like you obviously lost weight, like these clothes don't fit you like at all. So I kept a lot of my old clothes too. So whenever I felt that way, I'd put it on. I'm like, okay, no, I'm okay. So the mental part was such a hard part, and a part that I didn't expect that would happen.

Plateaus And Injection Site Strategy

SPEAKER_01

Did you ever hit any plateaus with your weight or any moments where you wanted to quit? Yes. Multiple times more.

SPEAKER_00

It was just not that I wanted to quit, but I did plateau a couple of times, and then I went to TikTok and I learned, hey, you have to switch up your injection sites, you have to you have to actually eat. If you don't eat, you're not gonna lose weight. Like people, like one meal a day or like intermittent fasting. I didn't know like you had to kind of find your thing, and like how often do you have to eat? Like a lot of people could just do like two big meals and a snack or like more snack. Um, so I think not that I wanted to quit, but when I did like plateau, I was like, okay, well, what's going on? Like I knew something, it was something that I was kind of doing. So I'm glad that taking like that education part and like, yeah, you have to change your injection sites. Like, you can't just do it, like it's gonna work more here, like under your arm or like in your belly than it is gonna be some other places. I didn't even notice or know a lot of the injection sites that you could inject yourself, like oh, like on top of your belly button. That like broke a stall, and that's like the best part when you kind of like find something new and and you break the stall, you're like, okay, like it kind of like re-ignites your like flame a bit. So that was nice.

SPEAKER_01

What's your favorite injection spot? On top of my belly button. I have not tried that one. I Dom told me I told her I know Dom told me that you told her that, and I'm still terrified to try it.

SPEAKER_00

I don't know why. I think I do think like anywhere like in your belly, I it does like I've heard that it it absorbs more, so you do get more side effects. Um, but for the whole seven days, my I have like food noise is gone when I did it on top of like my belly button. And I found it on a girl from TikTok, and she's like, if you're having a GLP one stall, do it here. And I did it, and I was like, okay. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I have always been my thigh is usually like my go-to, where I feel like I have like the most, I feel like I get the most benefit out of my shot, but then I'll switch it up and do. But I always do like my lower abdomen. So all right, we'll try above the belly button.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. I was I was scared when Dom did it.

SPEAKER_01

I was like, Dom, wait, but if like I did, I texted her and I was like, Are you dying yet? Are you fine? Are you okay? And she's like, No, I'm doing great. And she did. She broke her stall, she said too. Which I've been at a stall for like two months now. I've been about like the same. So all right.

SPEAKER_00

I'll try my above my belly button.

SPEAKER_01

What are some things that you found that help keep you motivated through the tough times?

SPEAKER_00

I think now that I have people around me that do it too, they keep me motivated. Cause like we can sit here and like chat about it and like talk about like, oh, like this broke my saw or this did whatever. I think that is motivating. Also, even like the community online because it's so accessible now. There are so many normal people that are on it, and their journey and like what they go through day to day, that also keeps me motivated. Cause I'm like, okay, I know I have more progress to do, and someone was awesome where I'm at now, and they did it, like, I know I could do it too. So that's really motivating. Just kind of finding people that could go through it too, and they're good and they're okay, and I'll be okay.

SPEAKER_01

All right. So once you got into your rhythm, what were some of the habits that you say made like the biggest difference for you?

SPEAKER_00

Definitely exercise. I didn't obviously you have to exercise to lose weight. Um, but at first I didn't really I didn't I I didn't work out. But now because like you lose the weight, like your body physically changes, and I don't think I was prepared for that. Um I then I was like, oh no, I have to exercise, I need to work out because I need a tone up or like blue skin or whatever. Um, so now I've been prioritizing that a lot more, um, just so because you could feel a certain way and look a certain way, but I feel like there's always something that we're gonna find a change for ourselves. So I think doing that has made a big difference too.

SPEAKER_01

Do you enjoy working out these days?

SPEAKER_00

Or I don't know how people love to like work out. I I dread it. I it's like the worst time ever. And I wish like people I wish I could find something that like, oh yeah, like I love to weightlift. I'm gonna, and that's my thing. Like, I'm gonna go to the gym and weightlift. Pilates now is such a trend. Like it's boring. I hate to do I love the honesty because I feel the same way.

SPEAKER_01

I always say that I'm like, I wish I was just one of those people that like loved to work out. I know. I'm I'm not. I'm not. I please don't make me work out.

SPEAKER_00

It's so boring.

SPEAKER_01

I'll do it because I have to a little bit now and like do my little weights things, but I I don't. Everyone's like, you gotta get where they say, like, give it like three months of like consistency, and then it'll be like a routine and you'll love it. I still hate it.

SPEAKER_00

No, it's so boring. I actually bought this. This is sounds so bad, but I bought a remote that goes on your like fingers. I can scroll through TikTok while I'm on the treadmill. Like, that's how boring it is. Like, I can't just like go on a treadmill and even like with like lifting weights, I didn't even know like you had to like you're gonna lose like muscle and stuff like that. And I felt like, oh no, I'm losing muscle, like I have to actually work out. I I hate it though, it's so boring. I don't I wish I could be one of those people that the best part is like finding a cute outfit for it, and then after that, I'm like, oh I guess I have to do this at least for 30 minutes. So at least you look good, at least you've got a cute outfit. Yeah, that's the best part. Looking for a fun, cute outfit. But yeah, I don't like to work out.

Clothing, Confidence, And Social Shifts

SPEAKER_01

Speaking of outfits and clothes, it just made me think of something because it's something I've kind of gone through. What has like clothes shopping been like for you?

SPEAKER_00

That I actually was talking to a client about this the other day. I didn't realize how like the clothes that I bought before. I never could go into a store and clothes shop with any of my friends. I would always have to go somewhere else or go online and go to like the plus size tab and find something. Now I could go into a regular store, like I could never shop at like Abercrombie, never. And now I could go in there and pick kind of like whatever I want. And I was like, whoa, this is that's so fun. Yeah, it's so much fun. I was like, can we go shopping? I even if it's supposed to try stuff on, and it's really sad actually, that that was like my whole life. I've always been like a bigger girl, so I never was able to like pop into a store, like, oh, I need to dress really fast. I was never able to do that. I always had to like pre-plan. So now I could go into all the normal stores, I guess, and shop and not feel like I'm gonna take this into the dressing room, but I'm just doing it because I don't want to not be a part of the group and like not shop with everyone. Or now I could actually like go in the dressing room, try something on and know it's gonna fit me. So it's so much more fun now.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, my biggest win was like, I've never in my life been able to fit into a pair of Abercrombie jeans ever. And I went in and I didn't buy them, but I put a pair on just to be like, I fit in jeans.

SPEAKER_00

And even I bought a pair and two months later they didn't even fit me. So I was like, That's fine.

SPEAKER_01

It's like a good problem to have, but it's such a struggle. I'm like, I just bought these really cute pair of pants and they're too big on me already.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, but I really like them. I really like them, and I just won't, I don't even like I'm not even a point where like I'm gonna shop too much now because I still like want like have progress. So I just wear leggings every day. We love a good pair of leggings, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

That's really what saved me are the leggings. So has your confidence or self-image changed throughout this journey?

SPEAKER_00

I at first I wasn't ever not confident, I feel like. That's why I was okay. Um, I knew more of making this was a more healthy decision. So I was always pretty confident. But now when I look look at pictures at myself before, I'm like, oh my God. I went like talk to Claudia the other day. I was like, Claudia, you didn't tell me I look like this. She's like, what do you mean? I was like, I was like, no, like I look so different now. And knowing that I am more confident just because, like, yeah, I did that. I would talk to anyone about it. Like when people ask me, they ask me all the time, like, you look so different. Like, what have you done? I'm like, yeah, I'm not on GLP1 medications, you can sign up for a membership. Um, and even talking about it makes me confident too, because I'm like, yeah, like I did it and it worked. So, haha.

SPEAKER_01

That's I love the people that have, and I get some people want to keep you know their story private. I'm all for that, but I'm the exact same way as you. Someone's like, oh, you look so good. I'm like, thanks. I've been doing this, and yeah, I take these medications. Yeah, like I'm on to that. I will tell everyone, I will tell my whole story because if if it can help someone else, that's amazing. Yeah, like I don't want to gatekeep, I want to tell you what I did.

SPEAKER_00

I want to know. Yeah, and I love that it's so accessible now because I get like, and I didn't know that it was a thing. Like all these celebrities that have been on these GLP ones for so long now. Um, and now I don't even remember how it became such a thing. But everyone, I don't want to say everyone's on them, but majority of people are. I was so shocked how many people were on these medications that I was like, oh, okay, well then if they could do it, I could do it, and that they're gonna be fine, I'm gonna be fine. But the celebrities were gatekeeping. For sure. They're not for sure.

Advice, Grace, And Perspective

SPEAKER_01

No, they're not the only skinny ones. So if you could give any advice to someone starting out on their health journey, what advice would you give them?

SPEAKER_00

Have grace with yourself. It's a long journey and it's so rewarding though. Like, and even the length of it is so much fun because you're gonna go through each different step and like in your life and in your journey. Um, but I wish someone told me to be like, hey, it's okay, like you're gonna be you were fine before, you're fine now. Nothing about you has changed except for how you look. I I was so scared that like I was gonna change, like people were gonna view me differently. And and actually, I was talking to a client the other day. She was like, Do people like talk to you different now or like address you differently? Or like I'm like, oh yeah, I feel like I'm so much more approachable now. People talk to me, people are so much nicer to me. And then that was like a mental block that I hit, like, wow, like people can't just be normal, and like just because I my appearance changed doesn't mean I changed. So I think maybe that's just my biggest um lesson, or to tell someone is that um just give yourself grace and enjoy the process.

SPEAKER_01

I guess this would kind of go with what you just said, but if you could go back and tell yourself one thing before starting, what would it be? It's gonna be okay.

SPEAKER_00

It's gonna be so much fun. I think I would tell myself, like, it's you're gonna have so much fun. It's gonna open up so many more doors. Like, I am more, I guess I am more confident, like when I walk into a room or have a work, even something like with work. I'm like, okay, I feel good, like I'm gonna do good. Um, so I just think like enjoy the ride. I wish I could actually go back and like do it all over again sometimes. It's so much fun. Yeah, there are times I feel like I kind of missed.

SPEAKER_01

Like I look back and I'm like, oh, I'm here now. Like there's so much of it that like you didn't pay attention to.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, like I really didn't pay attention to like people treating you differently. I I just like thought it was a thing. I was like, okay, like maybe I'm nicer now. But no, like people do approach you differently, like when you're a little bit thinner. And that's really sad, but I guess I want to kind of wish I could do like a date of my life back then and see how people treated me versus now and kind of be like, hey guys, it's just like all treating each other. I'm the same person. Yeah, I'm the same person, even though I look different, I am the same person.

SPEAKER_01

So that's I I feel exactly the same way as you. I feel like people they do treat you differently, they pay attention to you, and not in like a way of like, oh, you look good. They pay attention to you, but like you exist in the room. Because when you are bigger, there's definitely times you walk into a room and then you just feel like nobody even like acknowledges that you're there, realizes that you're there. And I think that also portrays into I don't know if it's the same, if you have the same feeling or not with clients, but I also feel like for some reason clients listen to me more. Yes. When I mean I'm giving you advice about skincare, it had nothing to do with how much I weighed, had nothing to do with what my body looked like, but I feel like they trust me more. Yeah. I feel like they listen to me more that I know what I'm talking about. I had the same brain that I did then, but it is a weird feeling to think about when I feel like, yeah, I can talk to someone about something and they actually listen to you. And it is something that should have nothing to do with the way you look, the way your body is, but it does. Yeah. And it's crazy. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah. Even like going into a room, I feel like when I was always like out with my friends, even I was not any ever approached by a guy or anything, and now I am, and it's like every aspect like of my life has changed in ways I didn't even know. Now I go out and I do get approached, and it that obviously does make you feel good, but then I'm just kind of like, wow, like what was going on two years ago? Like, I didn't even notice these things were happening.
