Ready for skin that looks rested, calm, and naturally dewy? We sat down with Clara to unpack the exact treatments and products that took her sensitive, reactive skin from flushed and uneven to hydrated, smooth, and photo-ready in days—and kept it there with fewer steps.

We start with the heavyweight: microneedling paired with exosomes. Clara explains how this combo cut her downtime in half, cooled post-treatment heat, and sparked a healthy glow that kept improving week after week. From there, we layer in cryofacials to tighten the look of pores and settle redness, plus Skinvive microdroplet injections for a sheer hydration boost that softens fine texture without adding volume. If you’ve been curious about collagen induction therapy, exosome benefits, or how to stack treatments smartly, you’ll get a practical roadmap you can follow.

On skincare, we trade the 10-step routine for minimalist, barrier-first essentials. Think: a gentle exfoliating cleanse, a daytime all-in-one that merges moisturizer, antioxidant repair, and SPF, and a nighttime bioadaptive repair that supports biostimulation while calming inflammation. Clara shares why her reactive skin finally chilled—no fragrance battles, fewer actives, and smarter formulations that play well with post-procedure healing. We also get real about sunscreen compliance (including how we convinced golfers to wear it), daily carry must-haves, and the power of tiny rituals—fresh air, a short walk, good music—to beat burnout and keep skin happy.

If you want results you can see without a shelf full of bottles, this conversation is your blueprint. Subscribe, share with a friend who’s chasing glow without the fuss, and leave a quick review telling us which step you’re cutting first.

Welcome And Today’s Focus

SPEAKER_00

Hello and welcome to another episode of Couture Conversations. I'm your host, Lindsay, Lita Satushin here at Couture Med's Ball. From her in-office treatments like microneedling with exosomes to her favorite facials, to skincare products that she can't live without, and the little moments outside of work that are bringing her joy. This episode is all about feeling good, glowing, and being balanced. So if you're looking for inspiration, new treatments to try, or just want to hear what Clara is loving right now, let's jump in. I'm so excited. You're ready. Yes. All of her favorite things.

unknown

Yay.

SPEAKER_00

So before we get into your favorite things, how have you been feeling lately?

SPEAKER_01

Oh, you know, feeling good. Um, feeling good. Feeling good, a little tired, um, but overall grounded, I think. Grounded and good. Double G.

SPEAKER_00

So let's start with treatments. If someone's asked you lately what's been making your skin feel and look its best, what treatments would you say have been your go-to lately?

SPEAKER_01

Well, we'll start with the skin pen with exosomes because I think that set a really good foundation for my skin. Um, that and pavise, anything from that line. I love them.

SPEAKER_00

Um what treatments have you done recently in this ball?

SPEAKER_01

Treatments I've done. We did the no, what did we do? We did a chemical peel.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, so we did, okay. So we did your micronealing with exosomes. That was probably three two months ago?

unknown

Maybe.

SPEAKER_01

Maybe how was your skin with that? Oh, oh my gosh. Lindsay, my skin has never ever ever looked better. I think that that like it improved the tonality of my skin, the texture of my skin. I felt like it was a major reset. It just completely reset my skin. It looked the best it's ever looked, and I think that we've just built on top of that. Um, I know that we did a cryofacial recently. Yeah, love a good cryofacial, and I always I don't know why I forget, but that one's just so good, and I feel like I want to do that one more. Um, we did the chemical peel. Uh I did Skin Vive yesterday. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So for anyone who doesn't know what's Skin Veave.

SPEAKER_01

Skin Veave is a micro droplet hydrator that's injected into the cheeks, and it helps with texture, redness, um, and overall hydration. Like glow tox. Yeah, it's good.

SPEAKER_00

That's a good one to pair with microneedling too. So that one's really good.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, anything that's hydration heavy, like give it to me. I need all the hydration I can get.

SPEAKER_00

I'm gonna try and find, I'll see if um I'll put Ryan Ryan to work really hard to see if we can find figure this out. But I'll try and find a picture of your before and after from your skin pen with exosomes. Um, we show it to like every client. I'm like, okay, so this is what you mean. Like, redness was down, your texture was so much better, and that was only what, like a week?

SPEAKER_01

It was literally a week after treatment, and I think it's just improved since, and then I really paid attention to what I was putting on after that, and uh, I think the combination was just perfect. Who do you think that type of treatment is perfect for? Um, anyone that is suffering from like texture, whether it be acne scarring, um, dehydration, if uh skin laxity is a thing, I would say just do the skin pen with exosomes. It's gonna stimulate collagen. Um, the exosomes really help with repair, helps with an overall glow, hydration, um, reducing redness.

unknown

I think that anyone can really benefit from it. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

It's one of our very popular ones. I mean it's gold.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So perfect creation.

SPEAKER_00

So you've done microneedling on its own. What would you say the difference you notice between microneedling on its own, which is still a great treatment? Like microneedling by itself is still very effective. What would you say you notice the difference with adding the exosomes? Significant difference.

SPEAKER_01

Healing time literally cut in half. Um, after I do microneedling regularly without exosomes, I progressively get more red and hot. The exosomes, I got less red on the same day, and I was like, what is going on? That's insane. Um, the glow is amazing. My skin has never looked that healthy. Um, so I think that healing time significantly improved the hydration level of my skin, improved the glow, just overall tonality, my redness was really improved.

SPEAKER_00

So we're getting to the part I know Claire really wants to talk about. So let's talk skincare. So if you had to pick a few products that you cannot live without right now, what would they be?

SPEAKER_01

That entire line, I can't live without. I think that I'm obsessed and it's a problem. But maybe not because my skin is reacting really well to it.

SPEAKER_00

So for anyone who doesn't know what any of those products are, explain what those are and how why you love them so much. Give me give me your spiel. Because she she said, well, tell them how you found out about it first.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so you, my angel, came back from a conference, you're like, I learned about all of these things, but I really want to tell you about this one. I've been studying about them for like a year, kind of did some research, and you told me about Pabies, and you told me about Sophie Bye, and you're like, I think your skin would react really well to it. I want to see if I can get some samples. And as you were telling me, I was on my phone, like looking it up, and I was like, oh my god, that's expensive, but I'm gonna buy it because whatever you tell me to do, I'm like, you know my skin, you know me, you know what I love. You said it was a minimal skincare routine. Don't need 10 steps. I love that. Give me the least amount of steps with the most amount of impact, and I'm ready for it. So the bees is an all-in-one line, essentially. There's a cleanser, there's a daytime product, which is the dynamic age defense. It is your daily moisturizer, your daily treatment, and your sun protection. And one bottle of tail. Um, the precision eye lift is a cooling, sculpting, hydrating eye balm. Um and then the bioadaptive stress repair is your all-in-one nighttime. So it's your treatment, it's a biostimulator, it's hydrating, it reduces inflammation and redness, and and the cleanser is what is the cleanser? Glycolic acid.

SPEAKER_00

It has a very like a little bit of uh glycolic acid in it, it has a power wash, yeah, it has amino acids in it that help to like gently exfoliate the skin. So it's not like a scrub, it's not harsh like exfoliation, but it's gonna kind of brighten the skin, get rid of those dead skin cells, kind of slough everything off, but still gentle enough for like post-procedure skin, really sensitive skin. So Clara has very sensitive and reactive skin. So reactive skin essentially means almost anything you put on her, her skin's gonna get red, it might get a little warm. Um, a lot of people have fairly reactive skin, whether it's an um impaired barrier of someone using too many active ingredients, too many harsh products at one time, but some people also just naturally have more sensitive skin, and that's very normal. Um, how has your skin changed since you've been using the Pubis?

SPEAKER_01

It's insane to think about really because I've tried every skincare line under the sun. Um, from drugstore to high-end, I've tried it all, and I feel like there's always something that irritates my skin, whether there's fragrance in a product or just an ingredient that I'm not sure what ingredient is irritating my skin. Pavese, I have not had a single irritant. That to me is like the biggest noticeable thing. Um, but I would say the like just the firmness of my skin has changed, the tonality, but also I started using it right after I did the skin pen with the exosome. So I think that the combination of the two really just were perfect fit. I don't know how I got so blessed with those two things, but um yeah, I think that the texture of my skin, the hydration level of my skin, my skin has never been so hydrated, and I think that that's probably one of the biggest differences. My redness has been minimized. I mean, I could keep, I feel like my skin's just the best it's ever been my entire life.

SPEAKER_00

So we did a charity golf tournament a couple months ago now, um, and we had a couture tent set up, and um Clara and one of our other girls, Liz, worked it and they were doing everything. And tell them about your your time at the golf tournament with Pavies.

SPEAKER_01

So Lindsay is amazing, and she made all of these little sample baggies that had like golf tees and um facial coins and little Pavise um dynamic age defense samples in it. So everyone that came up to the tent, I was like, Are you wearing sunscreen?

SPEAKER_00

My Jews, my Jews. This is a group of mostly like firemen and um just a lot of them are like older like businessmen, like out there playing golf. So we're on the hot floor of sun.

SPEAKER_01

So and I just put them through the ring here and said, Are you wearing sunscreen? And a lot of them, you know, gave me flack and they were like, I don't wear that, um, I'll never wear that, blah blah blah blah. And I said, Yeah, well, do you want to protect your your skin? Our skin is the largest organ on our body, so you need to protect it. And um I told them about Pub's, but I learned that thing from Kim, and she was just like, practice safe skin. So I would give them these little sample packets, and I'd be like, practice safe skin. They'd be like, What? I'm like, sunscreen, just put it on. Um, and then I would tell them like, so it's not actually just a sunscreen, it's a sun protection, a moisturizer, and a daytime treatment. So it'll help with your overall skin health, and then I'd rip it open and put it on their skin and make them wear sunscreen.

SPEAKER_00

Didn't you learn the hard way not to have them put it on their hands first before they swing?

SPEAKER_01

It's messed up a few swings that way.

SPEAKER_00

Definitely messed up a few swings. We'll put it on after you swing.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

It was a good day though. Yeah, it was fun. It was a lot of fun. Yeah. And it's a great product for it's a great product for anyone, but it's a great product for men because it is one product they can put on, and it's gonna help them with lines and wrinkles, pigmentation, hydration, and keep their sun, sunscreen, you know, keep them protected from the sun. But you're not asking them to put 10 sips on because most of them aren't going to do it.

SPEAKER_01

Exactly. They're like, oh, okay, one product that's not too overwhelming. It's one product.

unknown

Just protect your skin.

SPEAKER_01

That was a very fun day.

SPEAKER_00

Are there any other skincare products you've been loving, or you've just been sticking to your foodies?

SPEAKER_01

Um, so I I dabble every now and then. Um I really do like the R Self cleanser. I really like that one. So I'll do like my first wash with that cleanser, and then I'll do my foodies cleanser. Um I really love their lip duo. Obsessed with the lip conditioner in it. So it's a non-injectable lip filler. Um, it revitalizes hyaluronic acid and it can actually improve um the volume of the lips, I think by three millimeters. I have to look at their little sheet. I know. I think it's something like that, but it improves the volume of your three millimeters. I know I don't know. I don't know. I don't know size of millimeters, but um it's basically a lip plumper, but it's injectable grade hyaluronic acid in a lip plumper form. Um, and it comes with a lip conditioner. I think it naturally helps tint the lips like a little pinkish. Um, I really love that product. I keep that in my bag for every day.

SPEAKER_00

Um what are some other favorite things you keep in your bag?

SPEAKER_01

Oh, you know, what else what else do I keep?

SPEAKER_00

On the topic of favorite things, every girl has their favorite things they keep in their bag.

SPEAKER_01

Um, I always have like a little, I call it my wannabe mom bag, and I always have like medicine or eyeglasses cleaner or something. I'm like the essentials that normally I would never think to have, but now I'm being very intentional. Like, you know what? I wish I had a tide pen in my bag. Oh, look, I have a tide pen in my bag. Do you carry floss in your bag? I used to. I actually need to read up my floss.

SPEAKER_00

I never have it. I'm like, do you have floss? I'm like, no, do people normally carry that?

SPEAKER_01

I probably should. Mary had floss in her bag the other day, and I was like, Oh, you're a genius. Why don't I have floss in my bag? I really needed it, so that was helpful. But yeah, I think I I think just like essentials, daytime essentials. That if someone needs something, I'm like, I think I have that. Let me reach in there and see what I've got. And then always like a little perfume or something. I always have chewable toms. Never need any genius. See, I don't think that far. I'm like, I'll probably I'm just gonna make a new essential kit. All the things Tums, Advil, tampons, whatever anyone needs.

SPEAKER_00

All the things. All right, so outside of work things, what are some other Clara favorite things? What are your favorite things to do? Why aren't you happy?

SPEAKER_01

It's so funny. I can rave all day about sun protection. I love going to the beach. I love, love, love going to the beach, being around the water, putting my peak in the sand. Um I love playing with plants like gardening.

SPEAKER_00

What kind of plants do you have?

SPEAKER_01

What kind of plants don't have? Um, I love orchids. I really love orchids, which is funny because they require the least amount of attention. You put them out there, you just say thrive and they thrive. The more attention you give them, the worse they do.

SPEAKER_00

We just had this conversation the other day because I've killed multiple orchids. You don't have to do anything to them. I'm like, I die. My mom is like orchid queen. She my sister's really good at them too. Like, keep them, but is it do they with the ice cube thing? Uh-uh. Is that a thing? Don't do it. Don't do it. Maybe that's why I killed it.

SPEAKER_01

It'll shock the roots. It'll shock the roots. So it's like they're airplants essentially. So they don't need I've killed an airplant before.

SPEAKER_00

Those little tiny airplants.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, I listen, girl, I tried, you can find them everywhere outside. So I'm like, oh, let me try and like make this a home airplant. No, I can never do it. It's let them just stay outside where they belong. But um, orchids, I think that ice cubes can shock the roots and it can actually do more damage than good. Um I have orchids all over the place, and when the leaves are starting to look a little dry, I put some water on it and then I forget about it. Well, I don't touch it, but mentally I'm always like, I hope my orchids are doing good. I think it's just the intention that makes them thrive. Do you ever think? That's how you're supposed to keep them. You can tie them to trees. You can keep them in pots. I have a few in pots that are doing really well. I never touch them. I just add some water when I think about it. Um just very rare. Um, and then I have some that are in like hanging baskets with just a whole bunch of bark and their roots kind of go all crazy, but they hang outside. I love the natural weather. I love being outside. I think that being outside in nature is something that I like to do. The sunshine or what if you're a beach. Do you prefer east coast or west coast? I prefer them both for different reasons. I really love the warm waters on the west coast, um, and there's not a lot of waves, and I really like the sand over there because it's not shelley, it's like very soft sand. And then I love the east coast. I think Bero Beach, like Bero Beach Beach, is one of my favorites just for nostalgic purposes. That's where my mom's family grew up. I spent a lot of time there as a kid. Um and then I've been going to Lake Worth Beach a lot recently. North Lake Worth. Is that what it's called? I don't even know. I think I always call it Fort Worth. It's East, yeah, it's East Coast. I always call it Fort Worth, and then they're like, no, that's in Texas. I'm like, okay, so it's Lake Worth. I think it's Lake Worth. Okay. Lake Worth Beach, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Nice. Yeah. Have you ever been to there's a beach um down south? It's on the east coast. I think it's supposed to have a bunch of shark teeth.

SPEAKER_01

I think I know what you're talking about, but I don't think that I have been there. I feel like I can find shark teeth anyway. But I think I know that there is a beach specifically that's like known to have a whole bunch of Anna Maria Island is also known as oh it's magical.

unknown

I do need to be.

SPEAKER_00

Everyone says I don't see Anna Maria Island. Oh, so good.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

My parents used to always go to Treasure Island. They're like their anniversary now. So I was like, I need to go. I've never been, but let's go.

unknown

All right.

SPEAKER_01

Let's go.

SPEAKER_00

We trip. Bye. I hope you enjoyed the couple. Bye. Yeah, all right. So outside things.

SPEAKER_01

Are you a reader? Oh, I love reading. I love, love, love reading. I actually made a very conscious decision to delete Instagram this year.

SPEAKER_00

I know I try and send her videos. I'm like, oh, you didn't get it because you're on Instagram.

SPEAKER_01

I don't know why. Let me delete the one social media platform that I use with all of my friends. It's so funny. But um, I started listening to more audiobooks. Okay. So I think that's easier because I have a little bit of a drive in the morning, a little bit of the drive at night. Um, so it's easier than sitting down with an actual book. But one of my favorite things is sitting down with a real book and like feeling pages and highlighting things. What's your favorite genre genre to read? Um I don't know how to maybe like philosophy or like I wouldn't call it self-help because they're not self-help books, but like philosophy, maybe. Um inspiring. Yeah. Yeah. Spiritual nonfiction? Nonfiction. Yeah. I like this guy, Paul Selig. He like channels information from what are called like the guides. And I just think that that's fascinating and it's just really beautiful, impactful material to where I'm like, where are you getting this from? This is like it's It's deep, it's genius, it's basically just giving you a good guideline on how to live life in a positive and meanable way.

SPEAKER_00

So for anyone who's feeling overwhelmed or burnt out, what's some advice that you would give? Don't put your feet in the cigarette.

SPEAKER_01

Go stand outside. Go stand outside and look up at the sky. And um it's so funny. I think whenever I was managing and a lot of restaurants, someone was really overwhelmed one day and I said, Come outside with me right now. And we ran outside and I said, Look up at the sky. Look at how small we are. We're so small. Our problems are even smaller than that. Look at everything around us, it's amazing, it's beautiful. Stand outside for a while. Feel tired or burnt out, go outside.

SPEAKER_00

Florida's a great place for that. It's like walk outside. I laugh at the days when it's like we have boxes staffing for the back, and I'm like, oh, I'll just take these out to the dumpster because it's walking to the dumpster, but it's just nice to like walk outside and it's sunny and it feels good. And even the days it's been cold lately, like it just feels so nice outside. But the hustle and bustle of the inside, even that one-minute walk to the dumpster is like it's our gas station walks. Our gas station anything from the gas station. So we have a gas station in our like parking lot, right? Up and almost every day it'll be like on my lunch break or whatever. And like, you want to walk to the gas station? I might not need anything. Sometimes I don't even buy anything, but just that little walk to the gas station. I'll buy something just so that we can go. Yeah, just walking outside, having fresh air, some sunlight, like it makes your whole day change. So yeah, and you're not wrong. Like, go outside, yeah, go outside.

SPEAKER_01

Keep a good deep breath. Listen to some good music, you know. Listen to something that makes you want to dance. Dance, dance outside. That's the best way.

SPEAKER_00

Shake it off.

unknown

Yeah, yeah. All right.

SPEAKER_00

Well, Clara, thank you for sharing all of your favorite things. Most of your favorite things are my favorite things too.

SPEAKER_01

Well, I don't know if I even said one of my favorite favorite things is you, because without you, I probably wouldn't have half of my favorite things.

SPEAKER_00

So I do like to introduce my favorite things to Clara. So and that's how we do it this fall. Like, honestly, like we we use things that we love and that are our favorite, and we just share it with our clients. Like, I'm in no way, none of us are in there. Yes, we are a business, but none of us are in there, like, all right, we gotta sell you this, like we gotta sell this one. Like, we do these treatments and we use these products and we absolutely love them, and that's why we bring them in and we carry them. And I just want you to use this product. One, uh, if it's something I love and I don't think it's gonna be good for you. I'm not gonna recommend it exactly, but if I think it's gonna be great for you, and we love it, like it is our favorite things, and we just want to share the things that are our favorite and we love, and we want you to love them too. Like, that's what we do there, and I think that that's great. Like, you're just our friends coming in there too, and being like, this is what we love, and I think your skin would do amazing with this too. Or I love GLP ones, and if you that's something that is what you are interested in, I'm gonna tell you my great experience with it and why I love it because we use it and we love it, and we like to share our favorite things with our clients, so it's really all we do. We just girl talk about our favorite things.

SPEAKER_01

Comment let me tell you about the one thing I look forward to most is putting on my skincare first thing in the morning. And I do think about you every time I put it on too. Love it without Lindsay. Where would I be? Love it.

SPEAKER_00

Because I have all my clients when they put their skincare on, they're like, Lindsay, so proud. Because I and I'm proud of every single one of you that put your skincare on every day or night. I'm very proud of you. Yes, it makes my heart so happy. You're the best. Well, Clara, thank you so much for joining me. I'm so glad you got to see our news studio and enjoy it.
