Satin's Audio Blogposts
I've intermittently written on my blog since 2012, but most recently have been more intentional in the space. A dear friend of mine suggested I make my blog posts audible so readers could listen OR read so here I am - providing the audio version of each of my blog posts for YOU!
This space was born from the quiet moments—the wrestles, the revelations, and the radical love of Jesus that continues to meet me in every season. I’ve learned that sometimes God reveals the "why" behind our trials, and other times He simply walks with us through them, offering peace that surpasses understanding.
This blog exists to encourage you through the hard and holy moments of life. Each post brings Scripture to life through real stories, Spirit-led wisdom, and practical truths—inviting you to experience deeper healing, greater freedom, and a closer walk with Jesus.
Welcome to my journey and thank you for including me in yours!

6-Week Series — Friendships in Your 40s: Real, Raw, and Redeemed (A Powerful Invitation)

Today I’m sharing a special audio reading of my newest blogpost: Friendships in Your 40s: Real, Raw, and Redeemed.
Have you felt your friendships shifting lately? Maybe those friends you once did everything with feel distant now, or maybe you’re craving connections that go deeper than small talk. Friend, you’re not alone.
In this blogpost (and now in this audio), I invite you to journey with me as we explore what it means to navigate friendships in this season of life. We'll talk about the surprises, the grief of letting go, and the beautiful invitation from God to cultivate friendships that truly sharpen and support us — friendships built on spiritual depth rather than convenience.
I also share Pastor Jasmin Weller’s five hindrances to friendship:
1️⃣ Differing seasons of life
2️⃣ Building new history
3️⃣ Insecurity
4️⃣ Comparison
5️⃣ The busyness of life
We'll reflect on the story of Paul and Barnabas and what it teaches us about shifting relationships, calling, and conflict. And we’ll anchor it all in the truth of John 15:13-15, where Jesus calls us His friends — the most intimate, grace-filled invitation of all.
As you listen, I encourage you to grab a journal and consider these questions:
- How have my friendships changed since my 20s and 30s?
- Which hindrance has impacted my friendships the most, and why?
- What kind of friend do I want to be in this season?
We’ll also pray together over your heart and your friendships, asking God to bring the right people in the right season, for His glory.
💛 Friend, wherever you are on your friendship journey, you are seen, known, and deeply loved by the One who never leaves your side.
Settle in with your tea, let these words wash over you, and let’s walk this out together — in grace, truth, and sisterhood.
