Ted Giovanis
Theodore (Ted) Giovanis, FHFMA, MBA, is President and Founder of the Jayne Koskinas Ted Giovanis Foundation for Health and Policy. He previously led consulting firms focused on health policy, reimbursement, and advocacy for a wide range of healthcare clients. He’s a recognized expert in Medicare and Medicaid policy, regulation, and reimbursement. Notably, he identified and led litigation on the rural floor budget neutrality issue, resulting in a multibillion-dollar hospital settlement. He chaired the Maryland Community Services Reimbursement Rate Commission, appointed by governors from both parties, reflecting his bipartisan credibility. Ted has served as a hospital CFO, controller, and auditor, and helped design Maryland’s GIR and TPR payment systems. He is also a professional sports car driver and team owner of TeamTGM.
