On today's show we stormed ahead with little prep to touch on the prevailing college sports stories to close out the week:

Big Ten media days, the trophy is on the table and the chins are held high as the conference pushes the talking point about the league winning the last three CFP titles. Bret Beilema also join in on taking some shots at the SEC.

The NCAA gets back to old school tricks by harshly punishing Tennessee LB Arion Carter for accepting a flight in the pre-draft process. Even though he paid it back and the Vols themselves turned themselves in, the punishment goes too far.

We also update where the PCSA and the notion of conference self-governance stands (hint: languishing) and close out with a few positive notes in the revenue and ticket sales category for a couple of football programs trying to climb up to the playoff level in the sport.
