Lizzo’s Album FLOPS, Patti LuPone Goes Off & Fire Island Chaos
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Recorded live from Fire Island, Adam and I are breaking down Patti LuPone’s Atlantis cruise drama, Kristin Chenoweth backlash, Lizzo’s new album reportedly selling 3,000 copies and what I think is a full‑blown PR disaster.
Plus Provincetown’s “Problem Town” canceling headliners’ shows and not only refusing refunds (which I would never do) blaming it on the performer- whoa.
We also get into my latest Instagram ban, Adam trying to quit smoking, Mexico travel chaos, salvaging antique doors for casitas and Fire Island’s legendary July 4th Invasion,
If you’re searching Patti LuPone Atlantis Cruise, Lizzo album flop, Lizzo PR controversy, Provincetown drama, Fire Island July 4th Invasion, or Daniel & Adam’s off-the-rails podcast — well this is IT. Welcome to the no‑safe‑space edition.

What happens when you let Enfanturible, now just terrible, Daniel Nardicho, off his leash to say and do whatever he wants? The man who has offended everyone is back.
SPEAKER_04Along with my brother from another mother, Adam Klesh, we're back with our latest creation, Trigger Warning. A podcast that is not for the faint of heart. Prepare to be offended, enlightened, and highly entertained. Trigger Warning is not a safe space podcast, but answers the questions no one wants to ask. Serves deep in vodka and a dash of bitter.
SPEAKER_02Each week we'll bring you the highest and lowest in NYC nightlife. So buckle up, you've been warned.
SPEAKER_04All right, you guys, you're back. You're here at Trigger Warning. I am so excited about today's episode. We're once again live here on Fire Island. Our home original in our little hovel. Nom Yohorenge Kyo. I feel so fucking freaky good these days. We were just down in uh Zipalite, weren't you? I was just down in Zipalite. Uh I went to Guadalajara, did a little shopping, found uh found some really cute things for our um our um uh abode. Abode I'm using a casa. What's abode? Abode is Middle English, old English? Uh I'm not really sure. I'm not sure. I'm gonna crack open a cold one. Nice spin drift. Yeah. Uh Adams, how have you been? Before we get started, we have so much interesting stuff to talk about.
SPEAKER_02I'm doing okay. Uh I'm sure I'm on day two of trying to quit smoking. And how's that going? Um it's going great for me. It's just not going great for all the people that want to be around me. I could second that. Can you hear this in your headphones? I cannot hear that in my headphones. Good. What is that? It's one of those little fans. It's one of those like drag queen fans? Now I can hear it.
SPEAKER_04It sounds crazy. Oh my god, that is so cool. It's really strong. Yeah, you can hear it. Yeah, totally. That's so cool. I never I've never I've seen drag queens walk around on slaves. But I assumed that that was just uh um what it was. It's a warm July though, isn't it? It's super hot today. But you know what's the new thing I've noticed with drag queens and and just in general population here on Fire Island is that they put cocaine in their uh afferin bottles and like do the ketamine. No, no, no, cocaine. Oh, they're doing cocaine now. The boys from Flaming the book from a unnamed uh unnamed bar were here a couple weeks ago for one of our business partners' wedding. And they were like, and I go, God, these guys must have allergies. It's bright in here, and they've been up for two days and they have allergies. What's going on? And meanwhile, they're fucking the Miami flu.
SPEAKER_02No, no, no, but us, us regular ketamine users, we've been doing it for ages. Because you, I mean, I would go to like beer gardens and you just sit it down, people just grab it and snort it. Like, people have no idea what you're doing. Like, well, that's nice. All those guys are sharing their allergy meds. I know it's crazy. Well, it's so weird. Meanwhile, we're like knocking over beer bottles. Totally. It's like get it out.
SPEAKER_04These guys they figure out the most unique and interesting, they they use all this ingenuity just to figure out how to inject drugs in a different way in a public setting, as opposed to just creating something interesting. I don't judge it.
SPEAKER_02Religion, we could solve world hunger, we could fund social security. No, no, no, no. Totally.
SPEAKER_04Uh take a nasal spray bottle for your ketamine. But I guess it works. I haven't tried it, unfortunately. No one's offered me any. Um when we go to break. Yeah, there you go. Ah, yeah. No, I don't cocaine's not uh ketamine's not the drug for me. Yeah, baby. So you want some nasal gay. Speaking of uh our favorite uh diva, well, I I think probably one of my favorite divas. Patty LePone. Have you heard what's going on with Patty LePone? I have. She's pissed at all the turkeys. She's pissed because the Atlantis crews won't but dock in uh Istanbul.
SPEAKER_02I'm assuming it's Istanbul in the ocean. Well, they say you're going to Istanbul, but it's like the port of Istanbul, right now?
SPEAKER_04Well, anyway, they're not doing it because it's a boot boat full of gays, and Patty still got stood up for the gays and did this whole thing about how it's like unbelievable. And I thought it was really great. I mean, I know people are still, although she seemed to have gotten she's got she got unscathed for the most part. Kristen Chenowith, however, is still suffering the cancellation.
SPEAKER_02But I mean, Patty wasn't that bad, you know. Like, I mean, it wasn't good. I won't stand behind her. She was also like a little, we've talked about this a million times. She was goaded into it a little bit, you know. She kind of set up. She's just like, whereas like Kristen Chenowith was like, I love Charlie Kirk.
SPEAKER_04I have like some intel about Kristen Chunwith, which I can't really go into too too much, but I will say a couple days ago, about a week or so ago, I guess she did a big group show in Carnegie Hall, and then the show she killed was like one of the best numbers, but then the show ended and all of them come out, but she wouldn't do the curtain calls because she was afraid they would boo her. So, I mean, it's hard for a girl that's like she's a vulnerable, sweet girl. I've only met her once, I think. Yeah, yeah. And uh, I'm not saying I know people listening are gonna be like, hard for her, what about us? I'm like, girl, it's not it's not just a false equivalency. I'm just saying that she uh did something that was kind of stupid, and uh, and there's reasons that has she apologized for it though.
SPEAKER_02I think that's the thing.
SPEAKER_04She has, but she just never really went like she's like, you know, there were some things that Charlie Kirk said that I really, you know, I believe in, and then all you need to do is say his love for humanity, or he liked dogs, or he was a BLT lover. Come up with something surrender to Christ and you can stop it. Exactly, and just say that's all it really was, but she just didn't say it. She, yet again, all of these people, I'm sometimes like it. Maybe she maybe she believes the other stuff. Who is their PR people that are working with them? Kristen, you need to get people that crisis management people, much like Lizzo. Let's talk about Lizzo. Okay. Her album came out two weeks ago. The famous Flautist? The famous Flautist. Okay. That's what she's known for, right? I could sell more albums than she did in her first week. I could. She sold 3,000 albums. 3,000 albums in the first week. Lizzo.
SPEAKER_02Now did the kids not care anymore?
SPEAKER_04No. She her last album was 2012. I talked to someone that works in her PR company and I was like, this is the most botched PR. She should have been, she should be on Fire Island at the invasion. She should have been. Madonna literally is driving the MTA buses. She's like, the World Cups and the titles.
SPEAKER_02I'm not driving the MDA buses that just landed right now. Like the perfect picture of Madonna in one of those shitty granny big diapers in one of the like Totally. Who's the guy? The honeymooners? Um what was his name? Ralph Cramph wearing like the little hatch of like, get all aboard. Totally.
SPEAKER_04And she'd be like, that outfit is reductive, like real bitchy. She's such a bitch. So she did this Graham Norton interview this week, and everyone's just like, My queen, she's so incredible. Meanwhile, she's like this. She can't really talk and she can't turn. She's wearing these giant shoulder pads, a la. And then in comes my ray of light. She, Kylie.
SPEAKER_05Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_04Kylie comes in to the interview and she's just like a bullient. Is that the word to it? She's sweet. She's a bullion. She's sweet. She's happy. She's beautiful. And then you got Madonna.
SPEAKER_02She's probably wearing like a well-fitted pair of jeans. She's probably in a smart. She's like a little, she was wearing like a crop toppy thing.
SPEAKER_00She's just like a really cute. She looked like a normal human bird person.
SPEAKER_04Madonna was wearing like severe shoulder pads, and she was like, She's like, I'm an 80-year-old space alien. And then Graham Norton is like, So why uh did you wear a shirt that said Kylie on your tour when you was an Australian? Madonna's like, because once in a while, I I slight when I slightly love someone, and I'm like, you had to add slightly, you can't. So anyway, the point of the story is props to you, Madonna. You are everywhere. Lizzo went to pieces, literally and figuratively. She did like a they did like the gay bar. And then Shakweini had her on stage and was like, let's talk about your album. She's like, I'm not here to talk about my album. And it's like, well, girl, you should talk about your album. She should be doing the gay pride parade. She's at a point in her career she could call us and be like, I want to come and just be in the DJ booth while we play the song. I don't know, maybe it's because she was canceled. It's just people don't bother to put out an album. And I so I wrote her people and I said Lizzo has not really as heavy as before. Uh I Lizzo, like I would say if you're listening, but we only Lizzo is Stella. If you're watching, Lizzo, if you're the watcher, if you're the watcher, exactly. Get your shit together. It's not too late. Get a plan together. Follow exactly what Madonna did. She could have done a Times Square show.
SPEAKER_02Do you think? All right, so let me give you these options. Do you think she has a bad PR company? Or do you think I'm gonna give you three options? Bad PR company, uh, completely lacks a PR company, or uh is working with a friend who said they would do her PR.
SPEAKER_04Okay, I can tell you this right now. I have some inside intel. Oh, you do? Yes, yes, very much Intel.
SPEAKER_02This was not this was not a scripted question. I have a lot of people.
SPEAKER_04No, no, this is very much Intel. She has a company, but in order for her to do gig, her P her glam squad is $30,000. So if she wants to do something, like even like you know, an appearance is $30,000. That's just the glam squad. And and a lot of these people are like, no, it's like an appearance. Like we're not gonna pay that. We can't afford $30,000. And I said, well, why don't I said to this person, the PR company, I said, why don't you get five things in one night? Like she'll go to Red Eye, she'll come out here, five things in one night. We'll then we'll amortize the 30,000 over a few things. I don't know that she wants to do that anymore. Right now she's licking her rooms. I read an article where she's like, I'm devastated. Don't be devastated, be busy. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Calling podcasts, your PR people should be calling podcasts, get on fucking Los Culturistas, Las Culturistas, get on these podcasts, promote Madonna, literally and then sell one of the songs, whether it's the hit or something else that's catchy, sell it so people hear it all the time, whether it's a fucking Maybelline commercial or Coca-Cola. Somebody should be going and horse beat disco. Somebody should be sucking FIFA's dick and she should be played at the World Cup right now.
SPEAKER_04So I pitched the idea of this. I pitched to them that she come on Friday, August 1st, and she goes in the DJ booth and Johnny play her one of her big tracks, and then she does the Pines party the next morning. Sure. Saturday, like into Sunday morning. That she comes out and licked. Ladies and gentlemen, it's fucking Lizzo. Yeah, yeah. I mean, without even asking you, and it's her party. Yeah, but I'm like, I love the idea. I get Lizzo. I mean, if you get Lizzo, I mean, she's like a uh he said, uh, the people that I know, he said, let me uh let me pitch this to them. You know, right now they've got to be a little bit more.
SPEAKER_02You got a captive audience of 4,000 high drunk faggots. And I mean, it's somewhat interesting. If you're like Liza, and then you know. Oh, what was that? Uh something fell out. Oh, my AirPods.
SPEAKER_04So, you know, it's like one of those things. I'm just gonna say this and then we'll move on from this too. Fell out of my prison purse. Your prison purse. Okay. All I'm gonna say is that as much as I rag on Madonna, the woman knows how to fucking get her name out there. Like, she's 75 years old and she's like literally everywhere right now. I swear to God, when I was in Mexico, I was seeing pictures of her in Guadalajara everywhere. Yeah. I think she served me tacos.
SPEAKER_02She's literally just willing to do anything at this point. She drove my cab. She was my cab. But it was like, you know, like remember like when HBO first came out, and it was like the cab driver was the crib keeper, and it was like, totally. And I was like, oh my God, I love your new hits.
SPEAKER_04Oh my god, it's so funny. Well, I anyway, Liz, I'll get it together. We would love to have you, though, because we your gay people are the only ones that will stand by you when your career is going south. You know, to South. We stand by our D Bas, but you literally need to get off your ass and do something.
SPEAKER_02I mean, South or even Sunset. Like Cher's Cher's been on a farewell tour for 25 years because of the gays. Absolutely. And she does all the things you need to do.
SPEAKER_04What is going on?
SPEAKER_02Why is the world attacking you?
SPEAKER_04Everything's falling apart in here. It is historical. It's Ariel Sinclair. Well, it's half of Ariel Sinclair. It's a good half. Yeah, yeah. The first 25 years. It's a picture of her when she was young. Uh and other interesting news I find fascinating is you know, Problems Town, right? You know Problemstown. As in Provincetown? Yeah, but we call it Problemstown.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, we call it Problemstown because it's like literally Oh, this is so good. This is so good. When we got so we got it as a group tech text message, or did you get it as a text message and send it to our group?
SPEAKER_04We got a text message that some guy was complaining that he had shows to see, he had tickets to Varla, Jean Merman, and the show had been canceled, and they it said that Varla canceled it, which is not true.
SPEAKER_02And that's your watching this, Tristan Schulcraft, the the one I frequently talk about who's buying uh things for cash and not culture, and like you can't buy cool and he's not putting in the effort, and everyone says give him a chance, he's gonna do good things, and he just keeps doing shitty things. So if you're listening to me and you've heard me previously bitch about this person, he's still a piece of shit and he's still doing bad things. What did Violet say to you, dear?
SPEAKER_04So, what happened was a couple weeks ago, uh, if you are watching the show, you saw that we were kind of trashing Tristan because people need to speak the truth. There's this whole Trumpian thing where people are like, but he's rich. It's like I don't really care that he's rich. No, there's this whole thing where but he's successfully rich. There's this, we have this thing in wealth, like wealth suddenly means somebody like Elon Musk. Like most people in my group don't feel that way.
SPEAKER_02But they're supposed to be nice to these people go to the or they're supposed to be it's like not turning your back on the queen or something like that. Yeah, yeah. These are these are fake people up here. You put them up there.
SPEAKER_04They canceled Vla's show because they needed the room to store some mechanical bull. And then they wrote the ticket holders, you can't get your money back, you'll get refunds, you'll get uh credit for future shows. And this guy writes on Facebook, Does anyone want to buy these? Because I can't go. It's my one weekend in Problems, Problemstown.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_04So Varla writes me, and I love the girl, and she's probably gonna get mad that I said this. And she's like, Now I wish that I had joined you in when you were trashing on the show, but I kept my lips, I kept my mouth shut. I wish I had trashed you because this is so fucked up. And there's more stuff going on, like the moving queens that we know, good friends of ours, they're moving their shows to like six o'clock. And you know, and you know, the no-road refund things, I get it. You don't show up for a show. People try to do that here, but they don't show up for the underwear party, and they're like, I didn't make it. Can I get my money back? No, girl, that's not how it works. But if I canceled the underwear party, you'd get your money back. Absolutely.
SPEAKER_02So anyway, uh, Problemstown is freaking out. You wouldn't blame someone else though if you canceled the fucking underwear party. That's another big problem. We're glossing over here. Like saying that the artist canceled the show is and it's like it'd be one thing if you like if you came to the decision that we're gonna say the artist canceled the show because we're going with the back and forth and they didn't want to meet us and all this other stuff. And it was just something that you know, the show was listed. Like, we've had times, I'm not gonna say anybody's names, but like show was listed for eight, tickets sold for eight, they submitted their artwork that they were doing the show at nine, and then we have people who are upset and whatnot. We normally even take the hit and we're like, sorry guys, it was a clerical marketing error. If anybody would like to leave or if you have dinner plans, we'll refund your tickets or give you a later date. And for those of you that are here, we're so sorry. Let's get you a drink and the show, you know, curtains will be up in half an hour. Look, I literally But because they were storing a fucking piece of equipment that they didn't plan well for on a holiday weekend, right? Totally, and then blame your artist.
SPEAKER_04That's so shitty. We have to be doing due to a fault of mine. We have to cancel a show, which I haven't had to do ever here, but we have to cancel the rent with uh Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal in like on the 11th. And this is my fault. We've stopped sales, and I'm gonna announce to the winners that they can come in and have a drink uh, you know, that night on us, uh, you know, as if you call them the winners, like it was the concept. The winners, the you might get to see a show. We so it's July 11th, it was supposed to be Anthony and Adam, and I fucked up scheduling wise um with the mu whatever, it doesn't matter why. But the point of the matter is getting their money back, and I'm gonna buy them a drink. Come up that night. You can't you might have planned a weekend, at least you have a drink on the house, right? Yeah, you don't go, uh Anthony and Adam canceled the show, and you don't get your money back, but you'll have it put it to his future show. And there's and you know what there's he doesn't, they don't know what they're doing.
SPEAKER_02Oh folks. I'll go one over. I'll go one over. If you come in and you say, if you have a screenshot that you bought your your ticket for uh Anthony and Adam, uh, we're also later that night doing an amazing art exhibition, and we have DJs coming in from Berlin. We'll comp you for that. If you say, Hey, I bought a ticket. Actually, I'll send that out to the email. You'll get a re you'll get a refund and you'll get a ticket to the city. I'll get a ticket to Boris Boris. Because that's what you do. Yeah, Boris from Bearkhein and Misha the door man is is exhibiting his artwork.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Yeah. It's so this is so good. It's a great event. I'm I might I'm gonna have to come back from Mexico for it. I'm supposed to go on Tuesday again.
SPEAKER_02I know mama's got her uh tax-free pass now. Or not tax-free, but um you just pay the taxes, right? I just pay taxes.
SPEAKER_04So I went down to Zipalite last week for. She'll give Volaris a plug. Valaris Airlines has a $600 for a year you fly free, and they go from Newark to Guadalajara, Guadalajara to Puerto Escondido, and then I jump in a cab and go to Zipolite. I left at six in the morning, three o'clock in the afternoon. I was in my hotel in Zipalite. Literally, I don't know. Round trip was 180 bucks or something. It was 130.
SPEAKER_02God, it's like having a buddy path. It's like what I have at United.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, and then going back for some reason it was 80. I'm not really sure why, but it was so cheap. So basically, like the cab to the airport to Newark was more expensive than the flight down to Zipalite. Uh and I get to go to Guadalajara Airport, which is like I kind of weird that I'm in love with an airport. But like I was coming back, when I was coming back, my flight was at 10 o'clock, so I wanted a whole day in Guadalajara to do some shopping. So I spent the day in Guadalajara. I get to the airport at like eight o'clock, my flight's at 10. And it was the night of the World Cup. They guess they have some thing. Yeah. I don't know what it is, a game. They play if they hit a ball with a stick or something. They're doing it. It's a soccer match. And everyone in the airport with every restaurant had like TV on, and people were there, and I would be working and I hear, Wha! I was just jumping.
SPEAKER_05And I was like, You can't stop that read.
SPEAKER_01I always like stop that kids.
SPEAKER_02So anyway, yeah, but um I watched the World Cup, like I haven't missed a match. But if I'm missing a match right now, I'm telling you right now, kids, follow my advice. I'm missing the second half of Egypt, Australia. Oh, really? Yeah, yeah. Egyptians. Well, we'll go there a little bit later. I mean the football football players in the World Cup are so gorgeous. They are they're so beautiful. They're all walks of life, they're all the colors and creeds and stuff, and they're all beautiful. There's this kid from Sweden. Everyone online's in love with him. He's like, he's gotten like a million followers, all gay from like the beginning of the World Cup. He has like one of those like two overfilled basketball. That you can set a drink on. Yeah, I mean, that's just like you'd hurt your hand. Wow, that's incredible. Everybody on the Bosnian team's gorgeous. Most of the Croatians are just I might get into this sport that I'm gonna get.
SPEAKER_04The Moroccan is beautiful. Argentina is well, the airport would like erupt with people excitement, and it was kind of wild because it was.
SPEAKER_02Well, it was a really exciting game because like it goes for 45 straight minutes without additional referee added time for substitutions or penalties or injuries and stuff like that. And so, like, and it's like a chess match back and forth, and then when someone scores, because there's only like none to four goals, that's kind of high. Five is getting really incredible, and then like six goals in a game is a blowout, so it's really like no goals to three, so it's a rare thing, and you're like, ah, really.
SPEAKER_04Well, it seemed exciting, they were very happy, and it made for some reason it made like the airport really like live fun, and and I just I love Guadalajara. And Guadalajara was incredible. I went to like tile stores and factories where they make things, and I was just like kind of looking at stuff to buy for the uh Zipolite. So it was a really good trip. Uh Guadalajara is great. I love Guadalajara. It's a great little town. I had a good time.
SPEAKER_02Um would you say it's like a Chicago if I said Mexico City was in New York? It's not like an LA.
SPEAKER_04I didn't see enough of it. I drove around and it was a lot of like kooky little things. It felt uh it's weird. At one point it felt like New Orleans. Yeah, yeah. It felt like New Orleans. Oh, okay. There were like a lot of colored houses everywhere, and so it had this New Orleans y vibe. But the area I was in where I went to tile shopping was all these big cool factories, and then you would go in and it would be one would be ironworks, one would be, you know, uh they have like business parks for like hard industrial. Yeah, but like industrial park, exactly. But there's like somebody's making ceramic and somebody's making steel, and someone's like, and I wasn't able to like literally hold like um this is I'm not sure if this is that fascinating, but um they the the tiles for the pool because I'm thinking like cobalt. We talked about dark cobalt blue for the pool, so it's kind of inky.
SPEAKER_02But it's nice when it's not just digital anymore, when you can look at it.
SPEAKER_04Oh, holding it, and then she was like, Well, you have a choice, you can do it out of out of uh volcanic, what is it called? Volcanic action or like a volcanic ones or just like tile. Yeah, and I was looking and thinking, oh my god, this is so cool. So I'm really excited. They're gonna send on some samples in the next couple weeks. I'm going back down next week because it's so cheap. Did you go on your little date down there? No, I'm actually just talking to him today. So I met a fella in in Zibolite Cheese Me. I put my best foot forward. But you get that? Get it? My best foot. There it is. Actually, I think I was that's what I was looking for. So I met a guy in Zibolite. He doesn't know about this podcast, and hopefully he never will. He um and I met Cheese Me. No, he doesn't know about this. Actually, I mentioned it today. We talked on the phone. Really sweet, really hot.
SPEAKER_02He doesn't know about this. I mentioned it to him today.
SPEAKER_04I mentioned it today, but I can give him the name of it. But then again, I guess they could do Google Danny and Rachio podcast and pretty much figure it out. Long story short, uh-huh, too late. I was sitting there waiting for the fair, uh, for the uh the train to Penn Station a couple weeks ago, and he came up to me and said, How was your weekend? And I was like, Oh, great. And I'm like, my god, this hot guy's talking to me. Yeah, I was like, this hot guy's talking to me. What the fuck is going on? And then he was like, Um, you know, we met and I think we met in anyway, long story short. Funny, smart, a writer. Oh, okay. Like he understands the words I say. Exactly. We had this great conversation. He's so super sexy. We took the train back together. He's cute. He's really really cute. Yeah, really cute. And the th he like thick legs are really kind of fun. Yeah, he's a fat bottom girl. Yeah, I think so. And he wants to go down with me because I'm gonna be looking for gold with my totally. So I've been calling him Daddy's little gold digger. Daddy's little gold digger wants to go down with you. He's a little gold digger. Yeah. Perfect. He's so cute. Well, today we uh we were talking, and I said, So we really need to like kind of set some boundaries here because I'm a boundaries galer. No, not yet. No, no, no, yeah. Um, and uh I was like, you know, we need to set some boundaries here. I want to understand, I want to just tell you something. You know, I have this property with this property in the mountains that I'm going up with a gold thing and I'm gonna look for gold. And I said, You're coming with me, you know, daddy's a little gold digger. But what happens if I find gold? Because are you expecting something? And he's like, No, but maybe I'll write like a screenplay about two gay guys who go up into mountains to look for gold. We'll make it into we could battle around while we're doing it. I think I got an idea.
SPEAKER_02If I find gold, that's really sexy and romantic. Thank you.
SPEAKER_04So we start batting around ideas too.
SPEAKER_02Remember how we told each other a long time ago that we had to stop fucking around with sparklers and needed to find candles? Candles, exactly. That's like a candle thing. Like, no, I don't want your gold, but like I'm gonna write a story about us doing it. And then I said to him, look, I'll make a deal with you. If we find gold, that I'll take half of. You get no gold, I get half to screenplay.
SPEAKER_04I said, if I find gold, you don't get money, but I'll finance your screenplay.
SPEAKER_02Okay. There you go. Wow. That's a nice thing to say back. Because then it's like And then did you fuck him in the ass? Not yet. No, okay. Not yet. No, no. But you're going to, right? Don't fall in love before you find out the sex is good. You don't want to be in love with somebody that's not a good fight.
SPEAKER_04But I just don't do, I just don't have sex right away like you do.
SPEAKER_02Sorry. I think you mean you have sex right away and you don't date them like I do. I'm like LA policemen.
SPEAKER_04I shoot first and ask questions later. Exactly. He had a gun. Oh, it's a Snickers bar. No, I think it's a 12-inch dick. I like this guy because he's smart and funny, and I'm just not in a hurry.
SPEAKER_02You should be. Running out of time. Oh, running out of time.
SPEAKER_04Right, exactly. Oh my God, this is going bad.
SPEAKER_02Like dating this guy like you're 18, and I'm like, so we have more than your emergency contacts.
SPEAKER_04We're gonna be right back. We're just gonna take a break, brief moment. We have more to talk about here. A trigger warning.
SPEAKER_01The cavalry has ride. So uh you probably noticed in the commercial that there's a lot of construction going on. This is your trigger warning commercial. I'm out of class, Daniel the Casino. We're waiting to invite you to paradise here. And it's just gorgeous today.
SPEAKER_03We are gonna be offering our trigger warning uh listeners and watchers a deal. We have uh we're building cases down here. You can own the piece of paradise. You can reach out to me and Daniel at the CasaOasis.com.
SPEAKER_01And there's a link to it right here.
SPEAKER_03And there's a link to it right here, and we'll give you a little special detail if you want to get the.
SPEAKER_01Oh my god, grandma's getting nasty.
SPEAKER_04And we're back. You like that? And we're back. You gotta turn that up. Or let me do it again.
SPEAKER_03And we're back.
SPEAKER_02Jesus Christ. Oh my gosh. Um, oh, I have exciting news. Well, it's actually exciting news about you. Um, you're back on Instagram. No, I'm not. I got just borrowed.
SPEAKER_04I got borrowed again yesterday. Yeah. I have to request a review already. Yeah, I had like three days. I know it's unit's unbotted.
SPEAKER_01What did you post?
SPEAKER_04Nothing. The thing is they figured out with the name. It must be like the I had someone else set it up for me because I was in Zibalita. I didn't want to be bothered. He set it up. He's like, here it is, here's your password, here's everything. And I was like, Great. I was in it. I started to get friends, it was all good. And then yesterday they said, uh, and I would looked at it, and it just put me in a mood. So I was like, I can't with this right now. I won't deal with that. I have 180 days to review, but what I want to review, and they're gonna look and be like, I'm I You're off Instagram.
SPEAKER_02I actually went into ChatGPT and I said, Do I have to have Instagram? No, of course you don't have to have Instagram. This is you being so we're we've now been doing this for like a year now. I don't know if we've done 52 episodes, but you know, we've been sitting around letting you listen to us, assholes, and now you can see us. But I remember you saying in like episode two or three that you were gonna start like Emma Stoning it. What's the big fancy word that she does?
SPEAKER_04She's the um neo neo um what is it called? Not neophyte, what's it called? A person who's a Luddite? Luddite. She's a neo-Ludite. There it is. Neoluddite is a person who doesn't.
SPEAKER_02And I think this is just you kind of getting the kick in the pants. I guess so, but it's such a powerful. How much time did you spend on Instagram? Not much. Yeah, but now what you this is what you want to do though, because now I think you should like hire an assistant and have them like handle, you know, D-World Enterprises. It doesn't have to be D'Angelo or D Jo. And then that way you don't absolutely don't get into your bullshit anymore where not.
SPEAKER_04I tried the Gringo Mendingo and it was taken.
SPEAKER_02Because it's so memorable. No, but if you do like D-World Entertainment or, you know, uh Red Eye Hotel Group, whatever the hell you want to do. Right, totally. And then you just have that kid put the assets up and stuff like that. You don't need to put up the guys in speedos going to Zipolite and have somebody come out of the woodwork and fucking hate on you and you don't know. No, that might be what happens.
SPEAKER_04You know, a lot of times it's uh it's competition, so I don't know that why, but it's at this point I'm just like I didn't know you lost it already. I can't. It just I can't. I just can't. I just like what once in a while you just open up your phone and you're like, I just I give up.
SPEAKER_02I'm gonna go ahead and say it. Um our target audience isn't on Facebook. So what about your ex? Do you have an ex account? I have an exact I have ex, I have Facebook, and I have uh they left me one of my face uh Instagram accounts for Temple, the the club in uh no, this is this is you getting this is you getting the the the universal galactic like kick in the ass to like get somebody who handles it for you who then you can slowly start to train in your voice, because that's a great way to talk to somebody that age to teach them who you are, and then in like two years, they'll be able to become an actual personal assistant when you need them and train another marketing manager. This is what you need to do. Speaking of in my voice, that's a really good point. I'm in a year before, like when we get down to Zabalite, I I I will need in March, I'm gonna hire a personal assistant. Yeah, totally. Which I just need one.
SPEAKER_04There's a woman that does it for our clubs. There are a friend who has a club down there, Danny the Zenu, and he has a woman that wants to do our social media for the Zabalite project.
SPEAKER_02No, but I mean like a PA.
SPEAKER_04Like when am I leaving?
SPEAKER_02Who needs an email from me?
SPEAKER_04Who haven't we paid? No, that's a good idea, actually. But speaking of uh like the magic of the internet, which is I'm so fascinated. When I was down in Zipalite, I found these uh really old uh doors at one of the celebrates places and I fell in love with them. I I these doors. I went to buy the doors, and long story short, uh I went, I decided to go into Chat GPT with the picture of the doors and say, hey, are these authentic? And Chat GPT came back and said, Yes, Daniel, these are actually look authentic, auth um authentic. Like it's a real picture. Like, and it yeah, it went into the picture and it said, like the metal work looks like it's old and this, that, whatever, these are the blah blah. And then it said something really fascinating. It said, you know what I mean. I've used 478 gallons of water to answer your questions. It said, Chat GPT said this to me. He said, You know what would be really great, Daniel? And I'm like, what the fuck? And then it said, What if all of the casitas had salvaged doors? So you have this really cool project that's modern, well, modern, brutalist, but with these antique doors. It's a really good idea.
SPEAKER_02No, it's not.
SPEAKER_04You don't think so?
SPEAKER_02No, no, no. One, I think it's a robot trying to take my job and what we do really well together. Two, no, it doesn't work. Three, don't let that thing start talking to you, saying you know what a really good idea is. This is how people are gonna end up with their fucking heads in ovens and we're gonna live in the matrix with the machines eating man food. This is the thing. I'm not one of those. It's not a good idea. First of all, we're not gonna build this like glass cement, beautiful, brutalist structure, and then slap childhood trauma church doors on them. First of all, it's great for like a garden. They look like church doors. They used to have stained glass in them. You can tell the way they were made. There's even like carvings on it and whatnot. That's like die faggot, but it's in Latin. Yeah, exactly.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, exactly.
SPEAKER_02Like burning the faggot. Ex intuitive.
SPEAKER_04She's a witch.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I just thought that was. It had a really interesting thing. I think they're really great to go into like the private pool, private garden. I think they should be on the property.
SPEAKER_04I don't think everyone casita. No. I just think there's something really cool about it. Because then I would have called the back with the casitas um Las Puertas, the doors back there, you know? Yeah. Um, but anyway, the point of it is that I'm really into going down though and getting salvage stuff for the for the for the casitas now. I'm very into this. And it told me the five best salvage yards uh to go salvage places in and around Zipalite and like, you know, um what? What exactly are you thinking about salvaging? We haven't had this discussion. Oh my god, there's you're hearing it first. Brent doorknobs, old brass darn in old doorknobs, you know, maybe light fixtures. You just got to go and look and see what they have. Like when I was in New Orleans, um, when I bought my well, I had a house originally before I bought my apartment, and the house had a garage, and in the back I went in, and up in the rafters were all of these like a hundred old doors, I swear to God, that these old cool doors.
SPEAKER_02Was there a bunch of like cat shit and food containers in the house? Was it like proper hoarding?
SPEAKER_04It was that that someone had taken all these old doors and put them up there, and I went to a salvage yard and they were like, oh my god, this is like so. I unfortunately Katrina happened, I didn't do it, but I was gonna flank the entire inside of the house with these old doors, so the walls were all old doors. And when you walked into the garage, I was gonna turn into a little apartment. It would be all these old doors because they were like weathered and cool, and but I didn't get around to it. But um, the point is that I have this idea of like going, I want to be inspired, I want to go to Salvators and be inspired. I don't want to just buy new stuff.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_04You know what I mean? I think like each casita has to have a personality, and I can tell already the people that are buying the casitas, and we thank you for your patronage, they are looking, they want to have they're not gonna want to decorate it themselves. They live in New York or they're or they're No, no, I'm there, I'm there with you.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, come up with some cool stuff.
SPEAKER_04Some sense of uniformity, though. Yeah, no, of course, the kitchen's gonna be there. Like, there's all that.
SPEAKER_02But what if there's like little uh because you know the only difference between a fucking hoarder and an antique shop owner is insanity and hygiene.
SPEAKER_04I'm not looking for a lot of people.
SPEAKER_02I'm here and I love you, but when you go off the rails and like you're like, I can see you wanting us to build another building just to how shit you find. Okay, you know what's what I'm gonna do. Tell me I'm wrong. First of all, tell me I'm wrong. No, no, no, no.
SPEAKER_04When you want to do the cameras around in the storage unit, I want like a I want like a like a everyone has a little frisson of the past and like something old Mexican.
SPEAKER_02One thing from Pepper and some nostalgia. You're from northeastern Ohio. You you couldn't escape the addiction of the Tchotke. Like I get it. I know, I know. I was able to strip myself of Catholic guilt and chotch. No, no, no, no, no, no, not Chochki. It's not science that say life's a beach.
SPEAKER_00No, but girl, if you just not my home.
SPEAKER_02I wish we could spin the cameras. Um, no, it's one of your storage units that we sleep and do work in. Yes, totally. It's not your home. That's what I'm saying. This is some cool thing. Tell me you wouldn't ask me to build a building to anyway. The point of it is I'm gonna win this battle. We got two garages. The day we closed down the property, we got two garages. The next morning, both garages were full. They're not full. There's little shot glasses, there's shot glasses that look like little tennis shoes, there's uh platters, there's I love my jars. There's lights.
SPEAKER_04A lot of this stuff is being taken out now because it's being made into the treehouse bar, which is being built right now. There's a lot of stuff is being.
SPEAKER_02Oh no, the wood we kept. We kept wood, of course. But like there's a pair of skates in there. Skates? Why is there a pair of skates? Who's skating in Zipolita? First of all, are we gonna hang them and let everyone know? No, there's a really cool disco drug dealer at the rest.
SPEAKER_04No, no, no, no, no. Other people have been storing this stuff there, and I'm allowing it. So, yes, our storage space. And someone's living in one of those garages right now. Alfonso.
SPEAKER_02Of course there is.
SPEAKER_04Alfonso's living in there. Uh, he is, and like in this fucking heat, he's living in a in a garage. But anyway, whatever. I don't know how people get rats. Not my circus, not my monkey. But anyway, that's uh that's my story about uh about the doors. Yeah. Um uh do you want to do a trigger? Sure. I mean, we should do it's 4th of July weekend.
SPEAKER_02Fourth of July weekend, which means it's the invasion.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah. The invasion is which is full of triggers.
SPEAKER_02There's full of triggers. There's cheap Long Island trash, there's gay baiters, there's a lot of trash out there, man. Hot guys dressed in really skimpy female clothing that will give you the time of day or won't give you the time of day. Both scenarios can be frustrating. Because you don't have any time in the day, and you're like, I I would I would fuck you in this skirt right now, you like muscle bro who decided to do drag today and just once get banged as a girl. But I don't have these down, she's down. And you know they're wearing panties and they're like all stuck in the streets. And they better wear panties if they're wearing a jock strap. I'm not interested. So I've had that happen a couple of times at the invasion, and it's like you just the door gets fucking knocked on, or like the radios go off while you're like balls deep, and you're like, I don't even know why I started. Right. Or they act like you don't exist. And so the invasion's rough. But it's also beautiful because there's like a thousand people celebrating this tradition on our island. They're happy. Like right now, I'm like Should we tell the story? Do you think I think every listener and watcher knows what the invasion is, or should we? I mean, it won't kill us to you.
SPEAKER_04It was like 50 years ago that uh Pansy and 1976. Terry uh Leslie, uh something Alan, I can't remember her name now, but Terry Terry. Terry Warren and Pansy, and one of their queens went over to the Pines by boat and they got there, and then they got refused service because they weren't dragged. And so they came back over here. It was the weekend of 4th of July. They got really uh got a bunch of people all got dressed up in drag and went back over on the 4th of July and demanded to be served. And this became a tradition 50 years later. The boats, I mean, tomorrow there'll be a thousand people in the Ice Palace in drag. Yep. And then they all get on the breeze. That'll go over there and invade. Yeah, yeah. And they get announced. It's really it's a special special day.
SPEAKER_02But and you know what? That that wonderful piece of shit we talk about all the time. You can get into any of the establishments over there for the low, low price of a hundred dollars. It's crazy, and you can do a VIP add-on and go upstairs for $150.
SPEAKER_04I don't understand why you can choose.
SPEAKER_02You know what we sold tickets for at the ice palace? What? Nothing. Well, that's true. You can come into the fucking ice palace and be part of this island's tradition. That's true. Totally.
SPEAKER_04And it's actually you see them before.
SPEAKER_01I mean, what is happening?
SPEAKER_04Well, it's people trying to capitalize on that 100%. But what's happening, what's what I like to see them here at the Ice Palace. They start off here and they go over there, and I love it because they still haven't sweat all their makeup off, and especially this weekend. It's gonna be they've been on that like a hundred degrees, and you get in that boat and it's like a barrel of fish. It's like you're in a can with all these people just like sweating, and then when you dock, you have an hour at least until you can get once they announce you.
SPEAKER_02One of the times I had sex was on the sail over. Oh, really? Yeah, yeah. It was the only enjoyable time. I haven't been able to enjoy myself since we started the place because we're it's somebody's pulling you in a direction. You can't even like hold a conversation.
SPEAKER_04That's your job. That's our job. I've really changed my attitude about my work. I had a bad attitude about it. Maybe I had a bad attitude. I started to really resent my work here, and then I because it wasn't working out. No, it's our one-on-one review. Everything's great. After our one-on-one review, he got a real attitude. Just like today, I went out with a with charcuterie board and I made that I made and I went to go sit down and eat a little charcuterie with my staff, and this kid comes over and just starts talking to me. And I started to get really irritated.
SPEAKER_03And then I realized he's got a heart on the whole time.
SPEAKER_04And he had a heart on the whole time. The little peeping, like the peeping. It was so funny. I said, show it to Adam, and he'd like look at that obscene little pickle. And I just went. I held up a corner show. And he like looked at me and he was like, you know, it was really pathetic. But my point of the story is this. Then I said to him, Oh, what a great. You should go show that Wanger over at tea, that big, big, beautiful dick. And it wasn't. But the point of the story is. You're good with people. That's what the point is. No, it's that I've decided through therapy that my people-pleasing personality, where I spend my life trying to make people happy, I'm no longer doing that in my private life, but I'm doing that in my work. I funnel all of my people-pleasing into my work. So when that shit like that happens, I think to myself, I was getting irritated because it was trying to talk to you. And then I thought to myself, he's a paying customer. This is my job. I want to make this kid happy. Talking to me is gonna make him happy. Complimenting his little wiener is gonna make him happy. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And then I can't. And then I'll just throw all my anger at Adam when we're in private. Exactly. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, that's what I do with you.
SPEAKER_04In my private life, my boundaries that's why I set my boundaries in my private life.
SPEAKER_02When did you decide to do this? Is this recent? Two weeks ago. I was gonna say, you know, I'm not like into the astrology bullshit and all that other stuff. And I don't know if any of the stars are in a certain order or whatnot. But roughly around two weeks ago, I started like putting my foot down with people. Yeah. And like if it's anything red eye guys facing, I've been able to do what you're doing. And just like, oh yeah, that's great. Amazing. Oh my God. Well, we're so happy that you come here. You know, I'll be right back. I've gotta go, I've gotta go send this email that's been sitting on my desk all day. I'm so sorry. Get a drink, get a drink. And I'm like, oh fuck, I think I'm done with that interaction. Well, I have to. Not to tell people I'm fake, but it's like I just may not be in the mood to do that. And then, like, in my personal life andor my uh Papa Bear productions life, I've been letting people have the exact business. I've been like, I'm sorry, I don't want to talk about this anymore.
SPEAKER_04Totally like what I did with um with one of our sponsors. And I was like, no, this is not the way it's gonna go down. I'm very much like saying no, but in terms of my life, my work, I've decided to be to funnel it into that. And it's really been helpful. Of course, it's easier. I haven't been drinking, and so therefore I'm not filled with like a depressant, and I don't wake up like underslept. I get enough sleep, I make sure when I'm at work. And then in my private life, I'm much more like this is this is my boundaries.
SPEAKER_02Oh, I'm underslept and going through nicotine withdrawal, so that's why I'm like your punching.
SPEAKER_04Let me tell you what's fucking going on right now. That's funny. We're gonna get real honest. Well, this kind of segues into my trigger because uh I I'm not one of those people that are like live in the moment. I'm fine, be on your phone, being out on your phone. I'm very Mel Robbins, like let them. I don't really care. You do you, I don't really pay attention that much. But I will say this, it's very funny. Years ago, Cherry Grubby Step Fireworks, we would have these big fireworks displays, and I called, I was like, no more scares dogs, it's a waste of money. The animals hire hire musicians and have have every everywhere here in town like different bands playing like. Have you somebody play the 1812, you know, overture? Something fun, like yeah, like give them money to like something cool. But to fireworks, ten thousand dollars for fireworks is stupid. And I was getting people trying to strong arm you into donating, and finally went online and said, I don't like fireworks, who doesn't like fireworks? And all of a sudden there was this huge backlash and they stopped it. And one of the reasons I hated fireworks is the reason I still hate fireworks. They have them now on Long Island and at night. Tonight there'll be fireworks, tomorrow night there'll be fireworks. People go and they sit there on the dock and they film the fireworks. Now, I'm not one of those be in the moment kind of people, but I think to myself, who actually I should do that with this kid that I'm going to do. I'm gonna end the day with to Zipalite. Hey, do you want to come over? I'm watching the old fireworks. We're gonna go sit and watch it.
SPEAKER_02Look, look, that one's going off. And I also love when you have people who do like, they're like the neighborhood dads or like you know, Italian dads who just like stand there and watch a construction site happen. They're like, oh, oh, look, that's um that's Huntington. And uh oh, oh look, King's Park is going. Oh, look, they've they've started over here. But I don't know about that, at least they're not filming it. And you're like, shut the fuck up. That's Long Island, they're throwing off with fireworks. But I who goes to the thing is like, I'm gonna rewatch these.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. It's the most bizarre thing. Yeah, so I'm just like, and I'm not like I don't let it really trigger me, but part of me wants to go, people, you're not gonna ever go back and watch this.
SPEAKER_02And when yeah, you're not. Do you think those are the people that grew up with parents that made you sit down and like, did you ever have to go through slideshows? So we went to Niagara Falls.
SPEAKER_05My parents are ridiculous.
SPEAKER_02My parents just bought me a cart and someone out. My parents didn't love us that much to put together a slideshow. What are you talking about? I said, Have you ever been around someone? No. Yeah, no, we had neighbors that were like, my parents. And this is the RV we rented.
SPEAKER_04My mom had one of those ankle braces, so she can only go about 50 feet. She went to the buttercup lounge in back.
SPEAKER_02All right, so people who film fireworks. So mine's uh well, it's not fair to say that yours is anti-patriotic. Mine is definitely anti-patriotic. Um, I just think that it's American holidays that we see fireworks the most, right? And maybe the peer dance when it used to be fun. Does the peer dance still have? I don't think it did because they should have had Lizzo. Oh full circle moment. Full circle. They should have had Lizzo.
SPEAKER_04They should have Lizzo. Yeah, yeah. If they did it and they're not doing it, because otherwise it would have, yeah, people would be guessing.
SPEAKER_02If Lizzo listened, Lizzo, if you're the watcher and you need a new PR company, Pridehouse Media, just ask for Danny.
SPEAKER_04They don't call me the wizard of was for nothing. New York Times years ago called me the wizard of was because I took all these people like and brought their careers, like Liza and Chikarol. I didn't bring their careers back, but it was nice to be called that. So I uh I love the idea of the case. What was it?
SPEAKER_02Cheetah said, this is like working on a cruise ship.
SPEAKER_04Like that's sunk. That's sunk. Totally. That's the ice spell point.
SPEAKER_02So um I don't know why this bugs me so much. I don't know if it's because both of us had time away out of this country for for years, months, we still travel internationally. American flag, American flag propaganda, paraphernalia, clothing, fashion, like hats that are American flag, shirts that are American. Well, first of all, it's illegal. Let's start there. But it's a trigger for me because I'm just like, it's just it's so taggy. So, like totally. No, totally. It's gross in everyday life, but then when it really starts to ramp itself up towards the holidays and people like staple it on their houses and wear a hat, and they've got American flag bathing suits and beer koozies and floaties and coolers, and it's on the truck and it's the windows and it's that thing you roll up in the window, the flag, and I'm like, oh well, that's that's very Trumpian though, too.
SPEAKER_04I think it's part of the reason it triggers us, and I get I could put myself in that, is that people that do that are like Trumpers. They're tend to be like, and then think that anyone that's not a Trumper hates America. That's their new thing. Constantly hammering home that you're if you're dem, you hate America, you want America to why would we want America to be destroyed?
SPEAKER_02Why would they think that we hate America just because we think that your shitty outfit is it's crazy because now I feel I feel like a MAGA person would only entitle only because I'm like, wow, this has really gone so bad. I'd love to make America great again. Yeah, that's right. We got a lot of work to do. That'd be really funny. I mean, I don't need it back. I don't mean it in a red hat. Like, what if the Dems took like blue hats and said, Let's let's remake America. Let's remake America.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, totally, totally. I like that idea. You heard it here first.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, you heard it here first.
SPEAKER_04Let's remake America. Dems, by the way, I do think. The L R A. I do think at some point, uh, Mike Elbow, the great writer, I just love Mike Elbow, he's a really good guy. Um, he was working on pitching ideas for TV shows. And I said to him, Mike, I have this. He said, Do you have any ideas for TV shows? I said, I do. I've always wanted to be uh do a TV show called The Wizard of Was, where I take has bins and I make the must-haves. Now, one person I wanted to do it for was Sandra Bernhard. She was really going through a career slump like a decade ago, couldn't get arrested.
SPEAKER_02And uh and I thought, I don't know why they took so long to land. That's so good. Couldn't get arrested. Like for someone who can't get work anywhere, couldn't get arrested. She was busted, disgusted, couldn't be trusted. And um that's like can't find their way out of a paper bag, totally. Couldn't carry a tune in a bucket, couldn't get arrested.
SPEAKER_04She couldn't get arrested. She was running out of money. She didn't have enough money. What did she say? What did she say? No, what would I say? She there wasn't enough month at the end of the money.
SPEAKER_02That sounds like every time I tried to pay rent through my entire 20s, there wasn't enough. There's not enough month in the money at the end of the money.
SPEAKER_04Or wait, so there was too much month at the end of the money or something like that. Or whatever. Yeah, you get it. But she um I wanted to take her and say, here's what we're gonna do. We're gonna these are the things we're gonna do. You know, we're gonna, we're gonna, you're gonna do charity events, you're gonna get your name out there, we're gonna do this, we're gonna do that, like and craft like a comeback while you're filming it. Then when they're up on top again, you show the show and you show how it was done. Because actually, anyone that cre did comes back, they're not just like I came back, except Leslie Jordan, I will say, sitting out making those videos during COVID. Yeah, that was totally but that was 100% him. 100% adorable.
SPEAKER_02But but most people when the world isn't most people are doing this when the world isn't on pause. So like it's crafted. They have somebody who's like, You're gonna do this book signing, you're gonna sign a hundred copies. You're going to leave with me, and we're gonna go to friends uh to dinner with your friends at this restaurant. There's there's some people, not too many people, it's not obvious, it's not a McDonald's, you're not doing a stunt. And they do this for like a year and a half. Totally. Nobody sits around like sitting on their pile of cash for a year and a half and being like, All right, you think everyone forgives me now? No, it's this very Yeah.
SPEAKER_04I remember when Lady Gaga was still not Lady Gaga. I mean, she was, you know, she was trying to break Stephanie. Stephanie, and she had Let's Dance coming out, and then they called her PR people and they were like, Would you just take her to like five clubs? And so I took her to like XL or that place that John uh XL. Yeah, XL and she takes the DJ booth and they play a they play her song and she dances in the DJ booth, and then you drive her over to whatever bar was like we went to like five bars, and she just did it totally happy to do it. Take her up in the car, she walks in, you're there for 20 minutes because they're waiting for the DJ to fucking get out of his K-hole and play the song she's dancing with the audience. That felt so pointed. And then, and then three months later, I said, Larue, bulletproof, you know, was coming out with a new album. I said, I'll do the same thing with LaRue because I love it's bulletproof. And they were like, uh, she doesn't want to do it.
SPEAKER_02And where is she now? Yeah, yeah. She's like, uh after after the stories of you came out, she doesn't want to be anywhere near you. Because I finger blasted Gaga. Because you finger blasted Gaga on the taxi.
SPEAKER_04No, that was uh in the pink, one in the state, to the next club. Anyway, uh, you've fully eviscerated another hour of your life. I know. You are now stupider for having listened to this. But I want to do a show called the uh Wizard of Waz, where we take hasbins and make them must-haves. Okay. I think it's a fun idea.
SPEAKER_02Would you guys watch people write in? People write in, don't they, Josh? Yeah, yeah. Wow. Um, would people watch if we had like a naked episode? Like if we brought porn stars on? Absolutely. Would you think people would go for it?
SPEAKER_04My friend Jackson's here, and I thought about just having him if we had room and it's I mean, because the cheese maybe. Having him walk by just naked, so you saw the lower half. The cheese may episode.
SPEAKER_02The cheese may episode's naked. We could get some porn stars on. Some people want to see us naked still. But we're thinking about like doing some some fun, weird different things. I'm in, I'm in. Yeah, yeah. I'm in.
