Live In Technicolor | Activate Your Life
Welcome to activating your life fully! My name is Baiba Wisse and I started this podcast and community to share people's stories and tools to empower you to create work and life that you adore!
The best and the most challenging aspect about finding your purpose and aligned work is that you are unique and your fulfilling work will be one of a kind but any one story, idea, or exercise could be the one that unlocks the next puzzle piece for you! But once it unlocks, you unlock the codes to a life of your own making, one that feels so good to you!
My experience has been that one thing is for sure - it takes courage and perseverance. I think this is something you have to chase in the best of ways! I’ve tried everything from doing the exercises, strengths analysis, personality tests to looking for answers through energy work and spirituality.
My intention is that the stories, tools and insights shared in this podcast will save you time and get you to your unique answers and clarity faster!
The truth is that your purpose is already within you, you just need to activate it - so let's go!

Today we’re talking to Ryan Kelly. Ryan is an artist specializing in interactive home furnishings and in this conversation he shares his journey from retail experience design to furniture design and all things in between that led to him connecting the dots to doing something he enjoys. You’ll hear about:
- How he became unhappy in his previous roles and learned to recognize signs of dissatisfaction
- Sunday scaries
- How your previous skills come into play whenever you’re trying a new direction
- Applying principles of trying things, failing fast and not being afraid to pivot in your career journey
- How he took the time to understand himself, think, and make lists to determine what worked and what didn’t work
- How rebelling against the things that you’re unhappy with holds important clues
- How he was searching for opportunity with more artistic and personal expression and one that would also bring the community together
- There’s creativity inside everyone of us!
Ryan Kelly is an artist specializing in interactive home furnishings. He came, most recently, from a decade-long career in user experience design where he worked on consumer, business, and developer products. Before that he studied and design retail consumer experiences and his first job ever was refereeing kindergarten soccer games.
