Welcome to Episode 62 of Two Awesome People — your middle-aged take on pop culture, internet trends, and the strange ways the world keeps getting weirder.
This week, Don and Kelly dive into OnlyFans, but not just the obvious version of OnlyFans. After seeing celebrities, creators, bloggers, musicians, and everyday people selling more direct access to themselves online, we ask: are we all becoming subscription services?
From Shannon Elizabeth making headlines, to OnlyFans vs. Patreon, Substack, Cameo, celebrity access, private newsletters, and the idea of paying $5.99 to help Don find his glasses, this episode gets into the rise of the “access economy” — where fame used to mean being unreachable, and now fame means you can subscribe.

So, are you telling me you're gonna join OnlyFans?
SPEAKER_01Would you be mad?
SPEAKER_03Um, yes, initially.
SPEAKER_01Got it.
SPEAKER_03You couldn't just leave it there.
SPEAKER_01You'd have to like be asterisk, and then we'd have to go to the bottom of the page and read the asterisk.
SPEAKER_03I need like a big parentheses. Well, OnlyFans is booming. It's it's quite the business.
SPEAKER_01Really, what grabbed our attention was the amount of people that are joining it.
SPEAKER_03Joining it to be creators.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_03So it was recently in the news that Shannon Elizabeth joined it. I'm sure you know who that is.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, absolutely.
SPEAKER_03I was joking. I did not think you would know who that was.
SPEAKER_01I know who Shannon Elizabeth is. She was in well, now I'm gonna just screw myself here, but she was in the Austin Poweris movies.
SPEAKER_03No, she was not. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_01She Shannon Elizabeth is uh the one that was in American Pie. Yes. Yes.
SPEAKER_03She was in American Pie. It was in the news that she made a million dollars the first day.
SPEAKER_00I can verify that the reports are true that have been out there in the headlines. My manager the other day, he said, You've now made more than American Pie, Scary Movie, Love Actually, Name One Other. All of them combined.
SPEAKER_01Do you think if I joined, I'd make a million dollars?
SPEAKER_03I don't think so. You'd have to find a really good like niche to be in. OnlyFans is definitely sort of like on the tip of the tongue.
SPEAKER_01The tip of the tongue.
SPEAKER_03Yes, on the tip of the tongue of uh like media and pop culture right now.
SPEAKER_01The White House has put out only farmers.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, only farms. They're just being clever. How clever.
SPEAKER_01If you've listened this far and you do not know what OnlyFans is, let us explain what it is.
SPEAKER_03It's a social media platform, but it's driven by creator content. So the way that it works is uh you become a creator on OnlyFans, you get 80% of earnings made by subscriptions to your site.
SPEAKER_01So the difference between that and like YouTube, let's say, is YouTube is broadcast out and anybody can go search, find anybody. OnlyFans, you basically have to subscribe to their channel to watch their content. It was originally musicians, uh content creators, and now it has become adult entertainment.
SPEAKER_03It's not only adult entertainment. They actually have made a note at OnlyFans that they want to become the Netflix of the creator economy.
SPEAKER_01It allows the creators and the audience to connect directly. So there's no middle person you can call them or text them or they'll make you a video.
SPEAKER_03It's interactive.
SPEAKER_01And that's what makes the platform very different.
SPEAKER_03It's all at the discretion of the creator. There's a lot to unpack with OnlyFans, depending on how you want to judge it. I think that it's very interesting when you look at it in terms of like the economy of OnlyFans and the popularity of OnlyFans. And I think that the it's all tied to just sort of like the hustler economy, and everybody's trying to make it make a dollar. Like Shannon Elizabeth, let's be real, she doesn't have a lot of other things going on, right? But she's able to capitalize on what she did, you know, 30 years ago by doing OnlyFans. And look at how much money she's making.
SPEAKER_01Let's talk numbers.
SPEAKER_03Okay, let's talk numbers.
SPEAKER_01OnlyFans just sold this May a 16% stake.
SPEAKER_03I don't even know what that means, what you just said.
SPEAKER_01So they sold 16% of the company of ownership.
SPEAKER_02Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_01For a half a billion dollars, and the company was valued at$3.5 billion.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_01I looked up some companies that that is bigger than purple. Oh, bigger than. Oh, what's it bigger than build a bear workshop. Bigger than build a bear workshop. That's shocking. That you didn't know.
SPEAKER_03Because that's quite a business model. They don't even have to make the bears, they just rely on kids. That's child labor.
SPEAKER_01There's 377 million fan accounts.
SPEAKER_03Wow.
SPEAKER_01And there's 4.6 million creators.
SPEAKER_03I mean, so Cardi B has an OnlyFans account.$46 million a year. I got just on her OnlyFans.
SPEAKER_01Why are we waiting, Kelly?
SPEAKER_03I don't. What are we doing with our lives?
SPEAKER_01This sounds beautiful and wonderful, but it's Cardi B. She already has a massive fan base that's like, yeah, she's over there. We'll come and do it. Do you think I'd make money on OnlyFans if I was filming myself just trying to find my glasses?
SPEAKER_03You don't even wear glasses. Um, yes, I do.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03I think it would take a long time for it to catch on.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_03But yeah, I do.
SPEAKER_01Oh, there's Don stumbling around finding his glasses. Every video would just be Don trying to find his glasses.
SPEAKER_03I don't think it should be a video of you finding your glasses. It should be like first person perspective. Yeah. And you should just be like frantically like looking around and moving things. That's the video.
SPEAKER_01That would scare people and be like, ah.
SPEAKER_03It might stress them out, but they might, it might become like a Where's Waldo game and they'd be like, they're right there. They're right there. So it could be fun. Your glasses. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01You could be like hot and cold, so people could like you could have a tier where it's done.
SPEAKER_03We're coming up with something great.
SPEAKER_01Exactly. It'd be like a game. So it'd be like we'd have the 599 tier.
SPEAKER_03Like a version.
SPEAKER_01That's part, a lot of it. Oh, okay. That's a lot of OnlyFans, is that there's live chats, and you can get that. And so they'd be like, turn left. And then I'd turn left. And they'd be like, no, no, right. And I I think we're on to something.
SPEAKER_03I think we might be. Yeah. All right. Interesting.
SPEAKER_01This would be like, help Don find his glasses.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, maybe. I like that. We'll work on the name.
SPEAKER_01But the idea is solid.
SPEAKER_03The idea is golden, but the name needs work. Did you know, Don, that last year Americans spent more money on OnlyFans than New York Times and ChatGPT combined? Well, yeah, because I know they're not that impressive. I know.
SPEAKER_01New York Times pulls in about probably$100 a month, and ChatGPT probably pulls in$100,000.
SPEAKER_03New York Times does not make$100 a month.
SPEAKER_01I was being sarcastic. That's called sarcasm.
SPEAKER_03I know, but it's not outlandish sarcasm.
SPEAKER_01Sorry. I was making a point of nobody pays for print media. When you hear OnlyFans, what do you think? What's your first reaction?
SPEAKER_03Porn.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_03What do you think when you hear OnlyFans?
SPEAKER_01Tell me more.
SPEAKER_03No, seriously, what do you think?
SPEAKER_01Tell me more. I think, huh?
SPEAKER_03That's what you think is huh?
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And then I'm like, huh, I wonder how my grass is doing. Then it passes through my brain very quickly. That's interesting. No, realistically, I think it's the Uber, it's DoorDash on the internet. It's the hustle economy.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, that's what it is.
SPEAKER_01Right now, content, meaning not just YouTube content or online content, but musicians and filmmakers and artists are struggling. And they're at this reckoning with AI and the economy. And it's really hard as an artist. And I can tell you, as a firsthand, as an artist that has been a working director and a successful director for the past 30 years, 25 years.
SPEAKER_03I started directing when I was 13.
SPEAKER_0118. 18 is when I joined the Yes.
SPEAKER_03It's been a while.
SPEAKER_01It's harder now than ever.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. And so are you telling me you're gonna join OnlyFans?
SPEAKER_01What if you joined it with me?
SPEAKER_03No, Don.
SPEAKER_01What if it was you having quiet time and we just filmed you having quiet time and I just interrupted you? And that was the videos. It's you trying to have quiet time in different areas, and then Don would interrupt.
SPEAKER_03This is the thing. Who wants to see that?
SPEAKER_01I don't know.
SPEAKER_03I just, you know. Maybe certain parts of social media and things are like it's intrusive, but it's like you're intruding on yourself by putting yourself out there, you know? It's not really in my personality to do that.
SPEAKER_01So what you're talking about now is is privacy a wasted inventory at this moment?
SPEAKER_03Is it wasted inventory?
SPEAKER_01Yes.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_01A wasted inventory.
SPEAKER_03Tell me what that means.
SPEAKER_01Privacy is being thrown out the window, and we are selling access to ourselves.
SPEAKER_03Yes, that is what we're doing. It's basically monetizing who you are. It's monetizing privacy, basically. Yes. It's saying like that you can make money off of like every moment of your life, essentially.
SPEAKER_01If you want to have a relationship with me, you can, but it's gonna cost you$20 a month. It's not only OnlyFans.
SPEAKER_03No, it's not only OnlyFans. This might this might be different than what you're talking about, but I visit this blog a lot, and I have for many, many years. And the writer of the blog has started talking a lot about her personal relationships. She's divorced now and she's dating. And I have always been struck and uncomfortable by how open she is about it. Like, oh, we talked about moving in together. We talked about marriage. Oh, we broke up, and this is why. Like, I just feel like if I was him, I would not be comfortable with that. That is your private stuff. Do you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_01Kelly's talking about cup of joe. She likes to be very vague on this show. I don't know why. Uh, this is common knowledge in public arena.
SPEAKER_03It's a blog called Cup of Joe.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. So the next step would basically be her making herself available to her fans.
SPEAKER_03So she does. This is what I'm saying is that there's a lot.
SPEAKER_01Does she interact with them?
SPEAKER_03Yes. There is a free blog, which is what I go to because I am cheap. You can then subscribe to a Substack, which is like a newsletter. So you pay extra for increased um material and I guess maybe access. And on the Substack, she'll do Ask Me Anything. And so people will ask, Why did you break up? And then she will answer it.
SPEAKER_01Did you ask what color are your bath towels?
SPEAKER_03I don't do it because I don't pay, but I'm but that's what I'm saying is like for the people that pay, they get that access and she opens herself up to it. It's just an interesting change in society that people feel comfortable asking somebody that you don't even know personal questions like that. And then the person that doesn't even know the person asking says, Oh, well, let me tell you more.
SPEAKER_01So, what Kelly has just described, and what OnlyFans is, is it's part of what's called the access economy. It's pain to have access to people, and it can be famous people, it can be comedians, it can be authors, it can be it could be blog writers, it can be your neighbor. It is now showing up in a website called Patrone.
SPEAKER_03I think it's Patreon.
SPEAKER_01Patreon. Thank you.
SPEAKER_03Patrone is something else, dog.
SPEAKER_01Oh, I see when I see that word is Patrone. I'm like, let's do shots. Patreon. It shows up in Patreon, and Patreon is basically like OnlyFans, but it's not for adult content. So if you have a musician that you love that you want to reach out to, you can get on Patreon. And if they're on Patreon, they you can message them directly.
SPEAKER_03So funny because I've I had never heard of this website.
SPEAKER_01If you have a podcast you love, we're not on it, you can subscribe and you can communicate with them directly. It allows for creator and follower to immediately connect. There's also cameo where if you want somebody famous, I mean, we're not talking A-list, but somebody very high up, athlete, to send you a video saying, Happy birthday, Kelly.
SPEAKER_03Substack bums me out because I've had multiple blogs that have basically shifted to Substack. And so I don't I'm not gonna pay.
SPEAKER_01Now fame is you are reachable.
SPEAKER_03This all goes back to your original question about joining OnlyFans, and it's just not something that I would be comfortable doing.
SPEAKER_01You don't like to sell yourself.
SPEAKER_03No. In a non you know that about no, I'm not even talking in a sexual way. I'm just saying, like, you know that about me. I am not interested in selling myself.
SPEAKER_01You're not gonna go and like, hey, I'm not you can chat with Kelly for$5.99 uh a month and she will answer your phone call.
SPEAKER_03And then I would add a note, like, why would you do that? That's a stupid choice.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And then they're like unsubscribed. They're like, dang it, I needed that$599.
SPEAKER_03It's basically satisfying two things in one. The creators are able to make money in I would assume a relatively easy way.
SPEAKER_01Well, I think that's where it's a little ease of making money, I think, sounds better when you say Cardi B made$46 million. It's like, yeah, well, she's famous.
SPEAKER_03Regardless of the ease of it, the creators are doing it to make money, and that satisfies them or whatever. But the fans are doing it because they're looking for connection in a lot of ways. So it is, in fact, satisfying two very different needs in society right now.
SPEAKER_01They're doing God's work, Don. You know, and I don't go down the loneliness connective to call it.
SPEAKER_03Don't even react to me. You're like, yes. That's right.
SPEAKER_01They are doing God's work. You're not wrong. Let's continue. Are they doing God's work, Kelly?
SPEAKER_03I was let's bring the joke back. No, it's the show. My bad. I missed it.
SPEAKER_01Thank you for calling out me not listening.
SPEAKER_03It was gonna be a really good joke, too. Anyways, you were saying.
SPEAKER_01Um, I was saying, oh, that it's not just to connect, that I think it's a new form of entertainment.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it's like 4D entertainment. It's like where you get to, yeah, it's like, I mean, my God, could you imagine if like VR headsets get involved?
SPEAKER_01That was gonna be real weird. Who would you subscribe to? What person that but it doesn't even need to be on OnlyFans, it could be on Pathrone? What was it again?
SPEAKER_03Patreon.
SPEAKER_01Patreon.
SPEAKER_03This is the thing, is I am so cheap, I'm not even subscribing to people that I already read online on their sub stacks. Like I'm not a subscriber person.
SPEAKER_01So let's say the next Tom Cruise movie comes out.
SPEAKER_03I'll go see it.
SPEAKER_01And he makes it so you have to only get it through Tom Cruise's Patron channel. Tom would never do that. Because Tom is amazing. And he wants access to movies for everybody.
SPEAKER_02Exactly.
SPEAKER_01But what if the next up-and-coming star does that? Who would it take for you to be like, I'm willing to pay$5.99?
SPEAKER_03Oh, so for the sake of argument, we'll just say Tom Cruise. So they announced they're gonna make another Top Gun movie. If that Top Gun movie came out on something like if I could only see it ever in my life on Tom Cruise's channel, then I would subscribe to watch it and then I would cancel the subscription.
SPEAKER_01But the problem with the subscription world is they bank on that idea because most people don't actually cancel. They sign up for a show.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_01But that's the thing is people are just becoming subscription services. Movie stars in the future will just be a subscription service. What would it take for you to sign up for OnlyFans?
SPEAKER_03Uh desperation. Um, for me to sign up for OnlyFans, I think that I would not sign up for OnlyFans as long as it is so associated with adult content.
SPEAKER_01Got it. So you think it's still taboo?
SPEAKER_03Yes.
SPEAKER_01You don't think it's mainstream enough?
SPEAKER_03If it became this Netflix of creator content and it was like um a little bit more mainstream and recognized as that way, then I would be more comfortable.
SPEAKER_01Kelly's game.
SPEAKER_03I wouldn't be comfortable being like, oh, I started an OnlyFans page, but but it's on gardening or whatever. Like, you know what I mean? I don't want to have to do that.
SPEAKER_01Uh you don't even like telling people you have a podcast.
SPEAKER_03I don't. You know, I don't like to sell myself, Don.
SPEAKER_01Are you selling yourself right now?
SPEAKER_03Um a little bit. Are you selling yourself right now?
SPEAKER_01Doing a very poor job.
SPEAKER_03You're a terrible salesman.
SPEAKER_01Terrible salesman. Uh no, I think we're doing something that is fun. I've always enjoyed making content. Yeah. And this is easy to do.
SPEAKER_03But you haven't always made content that includes yourself.
SPEAKER_01So I've been a writer, director, editor, and this is the first time that the content includes myself.
SPEAKER_03That's what I'm saying. So it is different.
SPEAKER_01But that was the draw. Oh, you were like, I want to be included. Let's play would you subscribe? Would you subscribe? A guy reviewing every parking lot in Burbank.
SPEAKER_03In Burbank? I would subscribe if it was every parking lot like where we live.
SPEAKER_01You watch that person who talks about Trader Joe's parking lots.
SPEAKER_00I'm TJ and I'm Parker. And we're the architects who designed the Trader Joe's parking lots. Trader Joe's is not your average grocery store, so it does not deserve your average parking lot. Get rid of this big one. Get three compact spaces. One a cart return that's gonna only only hold about five carts. These are necessary. Shoppers love Trader Joe's Frayers creative products.
SPEAKER_03Those guys are really funny, and it evidently it's a shtick that they do all over the place. They also did an in and out drive-thru critique. It's funny.
SPEAKER_01Would you subscribe to a woman whispering Costco deals?
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_01$5.99 for a gallon of milk.
SPEAKER_03Why is she whispering? Like it's a secret. Don't tell anyone.
SPEAKER_0140 pounds of meat for$25.
SPEAKER_03Just meat.
SPEAKER_01A case of alcohol,$35.99.
SPEAKER_03Okay, I understand now.
SPEAKER_01I was waiting for you to give me one back.
SPEAKER_03Oh, I don't have one. I can't do that.
SPEAKER_01What about a married couple arguing about where the scissors went? No.
SPEAKER_03Because that argument would end with one of them like stabbing the other with the scissors.
SPEAKER_01You took the scissors.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, no, I would not. You would not either, right?
SPEAKER_01The other day I got mad at Kelly because she used my screen.
SPEAKER_03You did?
SPEAKER_01Well, I didn't.
SPEAKER_03What did I what did I use?
SPEAKER_01Mad is an overstatement.
SPEAKER_03What did I use?
SPEAKER_01Me getting mad is like, where is this? Uh the other day I was less than pleased because Kelly had used my work gloves and I couldn't find them. It came to be that I actually had put them in another place.
SPEAKER_03I was gonna say, like, I did not, I put them back.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. How many times have you gotten mad at your spouse?
SPEAKER_03I love that you got mad at me about that. Like you no, you probably did. For a minute, you were probably like, she lost my fucking work gloves.
SPEAKER_01Well, in my head.
SPEAKER_03That bitch.
SPEAKER_01All right. Next one. A celebrity showing only what's inside their fridge.
SPEAKER_03I would subscribe to that. It's an awesome idea.
SPEAKER_01It's like cribs, but for fridges.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_01A teenager explaining. Why you are embarrassing.
SPEAKER_03I don't need to subscribe to that because I live it.
SPEAKER_01I got it.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_01If we had an OnlyFans, what would our tiers be?
SPEAKER_03Tier? Oh, because you pay for tears.
SPEAKER_01On these channels, there are subscription levels. So for$5.99, you get one thing. For$10.99, you get another.
SPEAKER_03How many tiers are we talking?
SPEAKER_01You get to make the tiers up, Kelly.
SPEAKER_03Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_01Well, for$1.99, I will sit and stare at you like this.
SPEAKER_03For how long?
SPEAKER_01Well, it's a staring contest with the person on the other side till they like.
SPEAKER_03Oh, well, they blinked. What will you do for more money?
SPEAKER_01I will do a dance for you for$5.99.
SPEAKER_03I would do a dance.
SPEAKER_01It would be like a little of this. I would do a dance. Like some of this. I enjoy dancing for free, so why not get paid$5.99?
SPEAKER_03I love dancing in front of the boys and having them be like, what are you doing?
SPEAKER_01Usually I'm also like, what are you doing? Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, because my dances when I do that are more like jigs. I do a little jig.
SPEAKER_01Would you pay for$10.99 Don stretching?
SPEAKER_03No. I won't.
SPEAKER_01And then picking stuff up.
SPEAKER_03No, I wouldn't.
SPEAKER_01What if my stretches were in like weird positions?
SPEAKER_03Then it might look like dancing.
SPEAKER_01You already paid for the cheaper two.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it's like we already got some movement.
SPEAKER_01Approximately 27% of the creators on OnlyFans are 56 and above.
SPEAKER_0327% of the creators.
SPEAKER_01Shannon Elizabeth would fit into that category.
SPEAKER_03Do you mean the lady from Austin Powers?
SPEAKER_01That's Heather Graham. I get the two mixed up. The OnlyFans owner died at 43.
SPEAKER_03You share this, like it's a fun fact. That is really terrible.
SPEAKER_01It is terrible. He was making$1.9 million a day.
SPEAKER_03He had four children.
SPEAKER_01Worth several billions of dollars.
SPEAKER_03He was Ukrainian.
SPEAKER_01Damn, we know all sorts of facts.
SPEAKER_03We're just like wham. We should go in jeopardy.
SPEAKER_01Ukraine is in a war.
SPEAKER_03That's all we got.
SPEAKER_01We're ending at the war.
SPEAKER_03All right.
SPEAKER_01All right. You want to give a verdict? I mean, we basically said why it's blowing up. Yeah. It's blowing up because there's a larger swath across the entertainment economy on the internet to become this access economy.
SPEAKER_03And I would say that that's because it allows people a sort of a pseudo-social connection and it allows people on the other end to make money.
SPEAKER_01You know what this access economy is like? What? It's like going to Disneyland and then having to pay for the lightning lane. You pay for a ticket to join, and then you gotta pay for the more.
SPEAKER_02I see.
SPEAKER_01Damn you, Disneyland.
SPEAKER_02That's how they getcha.
SPEAKER_01I'm a mild Disney adult. I'm only I'm willing to pay, but not that much.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I get that. I do like Disney though.
SPEAKER_01So shall we see what the AI has to say?
SPEAKER_03Sure. Let's see what AI.
SPEAKER_01Why OnlyFans is booming? Don and Kelly versus the AI. You're gonna go down AI.
SPEAKER_03It's never versus, it's always like Don and Kelly and AI agree.
SPEAKER_01Well, that's because AI always agrees with you, no matter what you say. The question for the Claude brain, AI, is why is OnlyFans booming? OnlyFans has seen massive growth for several interconnected reasons. Supply side, the creators, uh, demand side, the subscribers. That's how stuff works usually, but it gives some descriptions. Cultural shifts, the HUSA culture uh mindset, normalized monetizing personal assets, including appearance. Influencer culture has already primed people to pay for exclusive access, the inflection point of COVID that flipped it over, and the celebrity synups that brought massive mainstream attention and legitimate legitimacy.
SPEAKER_03Legitimacy.
SPEAKER_01It has turned attention, something social media has always monetized for corporations, into something individual creators can monetize, monetize directly for themselves. I think that's the biggest takeaway, right there, Kelly, is that uh OnlyFans is an example, the biggest example of this access economy and it's creators not giving money to these huge corporations anymore, but taking it in for themselves.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I think that the breakdown of of how the money is dispersed is unique.
SPEAKER_01With that, we are opening our own what is it called?
SPEAKER_03I don't know.
SPEAKER_01Patreon.
SPEAKER_03Patreon.
SPEAKER_01I can't even say it right.
SPEAKER_03I think it's Patreon.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03I mean, it would be really funny if at the end of this we discover that I'm correcting you incorrectly.
SPEAKER_01Well, I'm sure you're not because you always correct me correctly. Stop. But really, that's what we should be doing here is opening our own Patreon. And for all of those who love us, who enjoy this conversation, come over and join us.
SPEAKER_03All right, let's do that.
SPEAKER_01Now we actually have to start it.
SPEAKER_03Now we're not gonna. Um, do you want to talk about um what you think for the future, what your predictions are? What do you think people need to give time to, Don? Just give it time.
SPEAKER_01Give it time or predictions. Yeah. I predict that everything is going to go towards the subscription model. I do predict that with more bands you will subscribe to them.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_01You will subscribe to, let's say, uh Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift directly.
SPEAKER_03Okay, but what do you get with that subscription?
SPEAKER_01All sorts of interesting stuff. It's like a wine club. Like you have a wine club subscription. I have my Justin Bieber subscription. Jelly of the month. We have our two awesome people subscription. Yes. I think that people did subscriptions for physical things and now it's becoming for entertainment. And you will subscribe to for your toilet paper or your underwear or your own. Well, yeah, you can already do that. That's true. And I think subscriptions are just going to go through the roof.
SPEAKER_03Well, that's too bad because I don't like that.
SPEAKER_01You can't even buy anything anymore. You have to subscribe.
SPEAKER_03I don't have a prediction, but I did want to recommend something to the fine people and the shitty people. I'll recommend it to everybody.
SPEAKER_01One last thing before we leave Kelly's recommendation.
SPEAKER_03On Netflix, there is a comedy special by Shang Wang. It's called Purple, and it's friggin' hilarious. So I recommend it to anybody who likes stand-up comedy. And if you like cooking, yeah, he does a lot about cooking.
SPEAKER_01Shallots are the pretty, beautiful cousin of the onion.
SPEAKER_03He does a bit on cumin.
SPEAKER_01The funk. The funk.
SPEAKER_03Who just said it's all very funny, and it's also like very delightful and clean.
SPEAKER_01So it's uh We watched it with our kids.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_01They didn't laugh once.
SPEAKER_03You haven't even finished it yet. Nate laughed a lot. I finished it with him the other day.
SPEAKER_01Oh. Our other one just laid there and said, Don't turn it off.
SPEAKER_03Which is a glowing review.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Um, all right. Well, that that was a lovely chat, Don.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Thank you for chatting with me, Kelly.
SPEAKER_03Thank you, Don.
SPEAKER_01Thank you for uh listening, watching. Please subscribe, follow us. We really appreciate it. Oh, wait, that sounds what'd you say, needy last time? Desperate. Ah, desperate. I'm not desperate at all, but I do appreciate it. And uh we'll talk to you next week.
SPEAKER_03All right, bye.
