This week I'm joined by a special guest, my coworker Amanda Rivera. Amanda is the daughter of Police Officer William Rivera, who died in the line of duty in 2004 as a result of injuries sustained while pursuing a burglary suspect.
Amanda talks about growing up in the NYPD, the moment she realized her life was different than her classmates, and how she honors her father's memory while forging her own path.
