In this Episode of the CombustAstrology Podcast, I get to sit-down with a fellow Astrologer Katie @NewMedicineRising about her experience with this month of July. We talk about the recent retrograde in Mercury and how that felt like a smack in the face, the source of the smack though was deeper than most realize.

We dive into that depth through Venus & the story she is trying to show us by stepping in the past and looking into the future. We then look into how Saturn in Aries plays a part in this and how the squares of the fixed signs in June and soon the Venus retrograde in August will come together to REALLY highlight this story.

In the back though we see how Pluto in Aquarius is preparing us for the future & how Uranus in Gemini is just here to give us perception(s) even though he's apart of the Full moon.

Welcome back to another episode of the Combust Astrology podcast. And today I am luckily able to be here with Katie from New Medicine Rising. She is what I would call an astrologer, even though she might not call herself an astrologer. She knows quite a bit of astrology. And after finding me from Amia's resonance astrology, she actually reached out and we had a reading. And every once in a while, whenever I read charts, you know, I kind of I'm going to say collect Pokemon, but not necessarily so. I find really interesting charts that it's the timing that makes them unique. It's not just their NATO placements, but it's like what they have compared to what's going on. So, you know, I know you guys are listening and you're like, well, what's so special? Um, I'm gonna allow her to share what she wants to share in her chart, but I will say that Pluto is such a big factor in the past. Uranus transit, we're really big and we spoke about it. And then another reading we went more deeply into it. But this is the type of person that I really think that they deal with four to seven things in their life. Sometimes at the same time, sometimes not. You know, I'll come across charts with people that they do have something going on. It's not to discredit anyone else's experience, but um I resonated because I thought I had a lot of hard transits 2024 through 2026. But then I looked at Katie's chart and I was like, wow, she has gone through the ringer. So, in conversation, I got the idea that we might as well just do an episode and talk about everything because there is a lot going on. So, Katie, feel free to have the floor.

SPEAKER_01

Thank you. Yeah, and so I think you were talking about Uranus when I first found you. And so that's such a prominent part of my chart, and that, and I think because you're Taurus rising, I was like, I and I'm a Scorpio rising, and I was like, I want someone to like, I want like the reverse mirror to like like call me on my shit, you know, like give give me some tough love, give me some grounded tough love. So, yeah, so um I have a Scorpio rising and an Aries moon in the sixth house, um, Sagittarius Sun in the second, but I think a big part of like I'm sitting in front of Uranus right now behind me. Um, I have a Venus-Uranus conjunction in my first house, which I think that's such a big part of my chart. And obviously, I've got contacts with Pluto too in other spaces. Um, but I think that's that's probably enough to share on that route. But yeah, I'm still alive, I'm still kicking, still got my Sagittarius, you know, monkey with symbols clapping inside my mind who demands entertainment. So yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Yeah, it's it's very interesting because when I come across people that are Scorpio rising, um they always live their life extroverted to what I feel like I have with my Venus and Mars and Sag. I've always been crazy and wild with the partnerships that I had or the friendships that I've had. But I've never like when most people look at me, they'd never assume most things about me. And I'm like, I like that that way because I am still a Scorpio. Um, but for you to have Uranus with Venus and Scorpio in your first house, and then you know, the rest of your chart while still having Sag placements, it feels you know, I've come across people that that have that Sag or Capricorn with that Scorpio rising, and it's like you guys get pulled so much to to I don't know. I I guess you guys get pulled into other people's black holes, but then you're like a supernova, and it's like they're not ready for that full um commitment of the energy that you have, and then it just makes your life even more chaotic with that, especially now, you know, the the the location of Pluto in the fourth house, Saturn being in Aries, and then Uranus opposing um not necessarily yet, but the energy of your second house. And before we continue, would you like me to look at your chart from Holesign or Placidious? Just for the audience.

SPEAKER_01

Um, I'm kind of a fan of Holseign.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

And yeah, I'll just like pipe in real quick of like you had said, like, oh, you know, I feel like I have a lot of parts to my chart, but then you're like, look at Katie's chart. You know, I like, you know, being the Scorpio rising and you know, that Uranus Venus intensity. I, you know, I like to scare any man I date by saying, like, I'm like dating 13 women in one. Just don't know which one's waking up that day. But like I feel like they're all pretty integrated. Um, and it's just I honestly, honestly, it just it feels kind of fun because you get to be many things. And I feel like that, you know, I have a PhD background in like quantum mechanics, and like we live in a quantum mechanical universe where quantum mechanical beans we don't have to be one thing.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, I very much agree with that.

SPEAKER_01

I think the stress is earlier in life when you feel the pull like you gotta decide, and you don't have to decide. So, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

You don't have to, but let's just hop in. Um, I'd love to actually cover where we have come from a little bit. Uh, when I pull up the calendar, so for everyone listening, we're using astrolis.com. I'm not sponsored, I just find their platform really clean and as a Virgo moon. I enjoy simplicity. And Astrolis has a really nice way of displaying everything. So with this month, we had you know your your usual lunations that go about, but one of the key things were on the 9th of July, we had Venus in Virgo. Uh, we also had the retrograde that was going on, and uh the new moon that we had in Cancer with the retrograde uh recently going direct on the 23rd of July and then recently entering Leo season on the 22nd. Now, today when we're recording this, 7:26, 943 a.m. or roughly, you know, Saturn is about to station retrograde later on today, around like 4 p.m. or something. And then at the same time, we're gonna be seeing the South Node um also go into um Leo and Aquarius. So there is quite a bit going on right now, and this month has been very changing, it's been very cardinal, but the cardinal energy is kind of like walking towards now that we've done this, we kind of want you to stay in this way. But it's interesting because the fixed energy that we're about to go into, it's not permanent. Like I really think even though it's Leo and Aquarius, it's so mutable, especially when we get later on to like you had mentioned uh the the Venus retrogrades. So I'm curious for you, and Mike, like I have an experience that I'd like to share, but for you, how has your experience with this whole month been? And where do you find like if you could pinpoint where it came from?

SPEAKER_01

Well, I'll just start like with a light answer first, in that like I always love Venus and Leo. Like where and then you know, we eventually went to Virgo, but like then, you know, Venus and Virgo, it's my 11th house, so I've just been like the biggest social butterfly. And I'm I'm kind of tired. I'm kind of tired. But it's been but it's been good, it's been fun. Um I think you know, I'm feeling the pull of some of these outer planet transits, but I'm like not letting myself get carried away. I think something that really bubbled into um my space when uh Venus moved into Virgo, and then having a sixth-house moon is like, what are you devoted to? And what will you do every day? And I think we've got so much big energy. You mentioned all that cardinal energy. I think like we get real carried away on some big directions, um, big impetus to like just rip the band-aid or change a bunch of things in life. And I there's all these things, other parts that's going on right now, that's just like, or we could like take a deep breath and like do some self-care and do like our normal routines. And like, what are the things that you will do every day? Um, and what are the things that you're willing to abandon? Because I think that question, what what will you abandon once Venus hits Scorpio? Like, I think along that path, I think Venus is a huge part from going from that Jupiter-Venus conjunction that was just before um and Cancer before um Venus moved, you know. I think like maybe I'm going back to June too, but I think that whole arc, it's just the space of that sort of energy. So I think to answer your question more directly of like what I'm what what's been my experience is like I'm looking at the long the long haul sort of thing has been my experience of like I don't know what all these little things that are blipping up are here for now, but like staying grounded and just like yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I like that. Yeah. I I I remember when I when I had asked you about um, I don't know if we if it was in conversation about barbold's basket basket or not, but when I had like brought up the retrograde experience and you were talking to me about Venus retrograde, and I was like, you know, I I was like, in that moment, you should be on the podcast to speak about this because most people aren't thinking that far. And I will look at a range of distance. So back before Pluto fully was like getting its taste in Aquarius, I was thinking about the the basket because I was like, oh, this is it. This is like humanity. And then now that we're here, I feel I find myself looking a lot further. But for me, this whole month, it brought me back to just looking at now. And sometimes I don't even check the transits. You know, the only instances where uh I'll check something is because I've made it a habit of following me and my wife's like moon cycles. And, you know, like yesterday uh to celebrate uh a really special occasion, you know, we went thrifting and she's like, Oh, what's the moon in? It must be insaged because you know, I was ready to spend so much. And in moments like that, where I'll sit and I'll just be like, I'm in the current present. But going so far, like I see and understand that because this is such a story. And, you know, when you talked about the Venus Jupiter, I was like, ah, the the ninth house energy that you carry, opposing that third house placement, or uh the rest of the squares as well. And you know, the planets that you have in that house, you know, really asking you to just sit with yourself and ask yourself with your moon, what is the drive and why? And I feel like you already seeing that and acknowledging that really goes towards this whole story that Venus is gonna teach us. And I love astrology for this, like it's just like clocks within clocks within clocks, you know, some people are really drawn into things that make them feel like it just connects. Maybe it's Virgo, but I really loved learning about cars growing up because I enjoyed how every little mechanic makes you move forward or backwards. And it's like people just get in their car and they turn it. But when you look at astrology the way you said, it's just amazing. Venus, for me, and my experience here has really been asking me, like, what am I doing? And in the midst of going through my Saturn return, I know you've gone through yours. You know, I didn't understand what people would say about, you know, it really just changes you. I could understand it from just doing a reading and channeling what people might need to hear. But to for me to sit with it, it's almost like I've studied, let's just say I have a toy, I've watched videos on the toy on YouTube, I've seen people play with the toy, I've gotten close to the toy, but I've never had the toy myself. And now I feel like I actually have the toy, and I'm like, oh wow, this is a different experience. Um, and that's what it's been for me this month with the whole movement of Venus going into Virgo, it went into my fifth house where I was just like, I didn't feel like I was giving myself everything. Like I really wanted. When we made a recent, like life-changing uh decision, Venus went into my fourth house, and I was like, okay, you know, Jupiter's gonna be in my fourth house, I'm a Taurus rising, I got nothing in Leo. Um, I'm just gonna kind of enjoy this experience. But uh Saturn came in and it was like, there's actually more. There's actually more that you don't know, but you can't fully enjoy this new experience you got because you haven't let go. And, you know, I'm curious for you, what Saturn felt like before we look at the future, like in this moment, what is Saturn feeling like with all this stuff that's still in Aries?

SPEAKER_01

I think you know, I was having I pay attention to the conversations we're having, and it's funny because I just had this conversation the other day with someone, and then it popped into my fields somewhere else. But like, you know, we got things in, you know, Saturn's in Aries, and you know, too, maybe maybe is it Rick Levine who's you know often saying, you know, Aries is this shoot first, aim later sort of energy, right? And I think, you know, looking at kind of I look at this, what's happening in Aries right now, and this energy of especially with all these like outer planets expand, like you've got the opposition with Jupiter and Pluto and in these direct conversations, which seems supportive in theory, but it also like feeds your distortions and delusions straight into Neptune and straight into Uranus. That like I keep going back to the concept of like fast dopamine versus slow dopamine, and then tying into the things that I'm seeing happening with with uh with Venus and its conversation with Mercury that I think it's really been kind of about like, where do you automatically move towards? Like, you know, and that also repetition or like repetition becomes personality. If you're moving towards things that produce fast dopamine, um, I just think it's just can create some burnout. And I think people like Saturn has been in this space of like, nope, don't go that way. Like it's not gonna work, and just kind of instantly stopping you. And I think it's kind of forcing some folks to get serious about like what do you really want? Like, we spent all this time with Neptune and Saturn in um in Pisces, where you know, we were like addicted to a feeling, right? It was about feeling good. And I think now it's like Saturn it is able to do a little bit more work, I feel like, in Aries, and it's like, yeah, but what is it good for? Like, and so I think it's what you're to me, it's like an energy of between Neptune and Saturn, this reorientation towards where you've automatically impulse moving towards for dopamine. Now, I don't know everybody is gonna think about it at that level and be paying attention, but you know, with you've got my chart up. I'm kind of hardcore, right?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah. That that actually oh sorry, go ahead.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, yeah, no, and I was like one one thing that just popped into my mind this morning, and I've been listening to this over and over again. Um, one of my teachers um made a medicine music album, and she's got this version of Am Shanti in one of the like, and I've played in the hermetic spaces and the Kabbalistic spaces in the mystery schools too. Um, and this line about like um I command reality to what I revere. And that could sound like this space of really like thinking in full manifestation, you create reality. And yes, we are creating reality, but like the part that stuck in my mind is about it's about what you revere. And I think people are moving toward it's like, do you revere the fast dopamine? Or like to what I said about this path that Venus is playing as it gets to goes to Scorpio, it's just like really, you know, to me, it's little brass tacks, what's important.

SPEAKER_00

I I like that I was speaking with another Scorpio Rising about uh our Saturn returns uh as experience because it felt good to kind of throw um kind of like a ball, like you're playing with someone and you're throwing a ball and talking. And uh astrology-wise, it's like what is this life experience? And so, you know, they had mentioned the whole idea of burnout, and you brought that up, but you know, with their situation with burnout, it was a little bit unique, and although I'm not gonna like put their personal information on here, when you said the dopamine part of it, I think that's so huge. And having in my own experience, having Saturn kind of like decide what I can or can't commit to prior to this, I would always say, hmm, I'm completely absolutely devoted to astrology, exercising, and the gym. And then when I got into my long-term relationship, I added my wife in there because I'm like, I'm devoted to you. And I feel as though Saturn really kind of tested me. And and it was very much like, okay, let's see if that's true, because it became less of that spike towards the distance of how quickly I could go with things, and more of that, I'm gonna slow you all the way down because I really want to see how it is that you truly believe that's real. From the storyline of when Jupiter was an Aquarius to now Jupiter being in Leo all the way. When Jupiter was an Aquarius and the Saturn conjunction, I got into a lot of resources that I didn't know it was possible for me to reach, but that was Jupiter in my 10th house. It gave me doors to things. And then just as I got through those doors, it felt like I got pushed out and closed. And I kept for the longest while Saturn was going through Pisces, just sitting and thinking, what did I do wrong? Was I too good of a person? Was I someone that overextended? And of course, you know, for the audience, I have my South Node in Pisces. And it kind of was a lesson that now Saturn decided to show me as it sat closer and closer towards my own degree and also the trine I have to my Venus and Mars to say, you know, it's not necessarily that you had to be a bad person, but the baggages you carry weren't necessarily yours. And so for me, having my Saturn in the 12th house, I've had to learn spiritual cleansing. I've had to learn spiritually guarding myself. Um I'd never really been someone to ever have uh an inclination towards recreational uh drugs. My stomach never really wanted to digest or sit with anything, and I just assumed it's the Virgo moon. Um, couldn't get high. Drank once with a friend on my birthday, never wanted to do it again. But I quite literally made a prayer, the same type of prayer that I made to the universe, like back when um Jupiter was leaving Aquarius and Saturn was entering Pisces because I literally felt like okay, I've hit a really high, a really big high. What do I do now with my life? And I when I was like, what is my soul's purpose? And then it all came crashing down. So it felt such like Saturn took it away, and I had a big resentment with Saturn about this, and I was speaking with this person about this because I was like, like I hated Saturn for a little bit because I felt disciplined. I felt like I wake up, I exercise, I'm there for people, I do readings, I work, I do all sorts of different types of things. I'm not a lazy person. Why did I get punished in such a way? You know, and one time I did a reading for someone who was a pastor, and he was like, Well, you know, sometimes in order to know peace, you have to go to war. And God puts you through that. And I'm like, you know, I'll I'll see different types of people in my readings. It honestly surprises me. But when he said that, I kind of sat with it because I remember my mom used, like, she used to tell me being Christian, she's like, You don't pray for peace if you're not ready for war. You don't pray for certain things unless you want it, because the universe itself, I believe, will take you through that ringer to see if that's truly what you want. Because otherwise, how do you know what you really want? And that's where it ties so much that dopamine for me. Of the things that I enjoyed, I got dopamine from it, you know, and and I really pushed it, but I did it in a way that was sloppy. I did it in a way that wasn't fully clean as it could be. I really loved working out and I did a bodybuilding competition and I went on stage, but like because I didn't take care of my body, because I was so tied up in everyone else's issues and their needs, and live, can you help me with this? Can you can you do this? I was so stretched out. I had physical pain and couldn't fully finish my um cardio for my competition. I ended up getting fifth place. And I remember one of the judges telling me, You would have gotten first place in one of the categories, if not top three, if you were just a little leaner. And I got so sad, like I wanted to cry because. The only reason I couldn't get there was because I physically couldn't. Like my body felt like I was gonna hurt myself in a way that was irreversible for the rest of my life. And at 27, I was not ready to do that. Like I've seen people playing sports, they hurt their shoulder or their knees, and they're done for the rest of their life. And I'm like, I don't want to go through that. And I sat with that because now, after that experience of having another reader offer me psychedelics after I made that prayer to be like, what is the point of this sad in return? And 72 hours later, I woke up a brand new person. And you know, there's there's a lot of things I learned about myself that you know, I'm a psychic medium, but also I'm I'm a medical intuitive. I feel people's pain. And me being someone that's too helping and giving, I've just been absorbing people's pain. And I've never cleansed, I've never done any sort of boundaries, I've never just respected that Saturn, you know, and like I've never sat with it. Like I'd be by myself sometimes, but the chaos of Venus and Mars and Sag, you know, you have Sag, like you're just gonna be like, ah, just for the plot. Like, why not? You know, and then you just jump into something that like when you look at it, it makes no sense. And and I think that Saturn was like, you can't, I'm not gonna take you anywhere that you can go, because even when I gave you access to this next tier level of a life, like you just blew it. You just blew it on just meaningless things, and it's not like blew it partying or doing it. Was just like that's not uh a reasonable thing to be going after. Right. So for me, this whole story, it's felt like since Saturn was in Virgo over my moon, where I just the whole cycle since then, it's been shaping me in a way that like I told a client yesterday she um she was getting into astrology and I was like, sometimes you really have to learn how to read uh the wrong way, so that when you finally read the whole sentence, you sit back and you're like, wait, that that's not actually how I should be reading. But you couldn't have actually read the whole paragraph without learning to read that wrong way. Like there was something about doing it wrong the first way, so that now once I hit 29 and get to 30, like I understand that dopamine. Like I can sit with it and not feel like a monkey just running around trying to chase that banana. And I I'm really grateful for Saturn now because my body's brand new. I was hitting Max's in the gym that I thought I was done for. I was like, oh, you know, I'm a I'm I'm 28. This must be like the peak of whatever. But I realized that my body was I told my wife, I was like, I think I've been walking around with a thousand pounds. Like I used to tell her I felt 70, and I was like, it's because of everyone else's problems and my lack of uh spiritual cleansing, my lack of spiritual discipline to be like, don't tell me that, or I gave you that advice a year ago, don't come to me about that, or you know, having people constantly in my circle, those sort of things that it's like, duh. But some people can deal with it differently, and that was my thing, you know, and it was the same way with that dopamine. It's like people don't have to be the dopamine, right? You should have those spaces by yourself where you're talking to no one, no social media, no texting friends, no no enjoying things, like sitting by yourself is not the same thing as giving those spaces. So I really do sit with Saturn in that way, and I really appreciate you bringing that up because I really resonate with it.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I think too that like Jupiter and Leo, you know, and then we got the sun there now, and then Mercury is gonna move there. Like there's so much energy in that space that I feel like with that opposition is just gonna feed that dopamine, that kind of extreme of that polarity, of that access, the nodes moving there. And I think, you know, all that grounding. I think, you know, Saturn, Saturn brings something that like like you, like, I didn't like limits, gross. Like maybe I didn't even grow up. I grew up with like nonsensical boundaries in certain ways, but then also like not routine. And so, like, I've had really had to learn, like, I hear what you're saying, you know, to like learn those Saturn energies. Um, and I think, you know, Saturn and it's Neptune, you know, and I I'm gonna bounce around because you brought up psychedelics and that space of like creating those spaces where you've got the boundaries of your your routine and your ritual that builds that somatic safety to build time for yourself that lets you sit into a space that I think is super important because it teaches you actually what do you revere? Because in whatever, like if you, you know, if you are sitting there going, like like sometimes you're like people find me and they're like, Liv, why is this always like this? And it's like if you're always moving towards chaos, that's what you revere. And so you have to have that time to sit with yourself. And you know, I too went through, you know, I've gone you know through my mystery school space and through various trainings, gone through, you know, very deep psychedelic work. I helped run an integration group. And so I think really understanding those kind of boundaries are important. And I think Saturn and Neptune and Pisces, like kind of as a collective, we revered, um, I feel like kind of two things, like two things, like all kind of feeling the same thing, you know, and yeah, we all feel the same way, but we're not doing anything about it, or like and I feel like people kind of also did one of two things. They either anesthetized their pain, or they like made their pain and their healing story their identity, or but it was like, okay, well, I can describe the wound, but I haven't moved on to doing something about it. And now we're in this space where I feel like there's this big impatience to like, all right, I gotta make everything different. And this all these outer planets, so you know, I know we're gonna talk about the basket, but like it's just I feel like it's making that kind of louder and that impatience louder, and it's can provide the support and structure for us to make some changes, but like I think just in this like dopamine sort of stuff, like I think there's gonna be some hard lessons in kind of going off h half cocked in a sort of way. Yeah, yeah. And and that was a bit of a riff that wasn't exactly what you just said, but yeah, but I think it also was, you know.

SPEAKER_00

No, it it definitely overlays and getting into that basket, it's something that I just could not stop hearing about um in in the past coming uh in the past weeks coming up to this point. And so just in case anyone wants to know, and I'll read it directly. So it's a rare outer planet astrological alignment that peaked around July 19th through 21, 2026, where it involves Jupiter, Pluto, Uranus, and Neptune. It's named after the French astrologer Andre Brabolt. The pattern focuses on a cradle or basket shape tied to major societal shifts. So for me, when I um looked at it, I was just like, okay, well, what is the purpose of me? But for someone else, it could be like, what do I lean towards with that life? And while I'm drawing it, you know, if you're someone that can look at a chart, I know I'm doing these podcasts on Spotify. One day I'll probably do video, but I enjoy being very comfy in inside of my um home and not having to dress up for it. But Jupiter, Uranus, Pluto, um, with the Saturn. So the basket I've been thinking about that it points towards the two things the Scorpio and the Leo of the energy. And I think it's almost like when you hold a bow, right, you are pulling the bow back, right? If if you have an arrow shaft. And I've been looking at this basket in that way where the the energy that you are basically exerting is pulling it back. And that is where I think the lesson has been. At least when I look at it, I'm gonna say like four charts where we specifically talked about it because they wanted to know. Libra and Scorpio, right? The the balance that you have towards the absolute extreme that you want so badly. That's how I've looked at it because the arrow is always going to lead to the Venus and Mars opposite of Taurus and Aries, where it's like this is forever, and I get to do it every day. And the Aries is every day because of the fact that it's like I wake up passion, passion, passion, passion, motivation, motivation. But of course, Saturn's there. So, you know, like you said, like people wanting to just force it, like you can't, and that's frustrating, you know. What are your thoughts?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, for sure. And I think like kind of being able to toggle back to some of the things you shared before, um, and that right now. I think that like a couple things. Like, I love that you highlighted the Libra and Scorpio parts of the chart because that's where we're gonna have Mercury and Venus retrograding. And I think this story, even before the basket, really kind of kicked off and started with that um Venus uh Jupiter conjunction that was in Cancer, that then was, you know, where where Mercury retrograded from. And they've been making, they were in conversation, they've been having these contact points back and forth, and they're gonna continue. And Venus is gonna light up, make its aspects to all those outer planets when it hits into the beginning of uh the beginning of Libra, um, I think in August, actually. Um, so I think it's pointed to those sort of things and to back to Saturn, I think that yeah, there's like the start-stop, but you had said some things about like there's something that you said that just kind of reminded me about the fact that I wanted, you know, if I were to interrupt you and when you were talking about your story about about um bodybuilding and some of the dopamine different directions and going in um and kind of you know feeling like we need to know everything, um, or that we do know everything, and then Saturn's schooling us, like that's the beautiful thing about retrograde seasons because we get to experiment, we get to go start, and then retrograde, we get to, which you we're now entering. I'm actually really like excited. I say that now. I'm excited for Saturn retrograde because it's the time to stop and be like, what am I doing? Like there was something like a couple days ago that I wrote, you know, I have one of the uh the honeycomb collective um almanacs, and I call it my lab notebook. It's the like if I die, someone needs to burn it, or they can really see the level of my craziness. But you know, I wrote and it was just like I wrote in it and I was like, what am I even doing? And I was like, this is a Saturn retrograde early. So I think like we're wanted to force things, but we're having these things that are gonna slow us down. And I think like Saturn, you know, it functions in a couple ways. It functions in a way that, like, you know, Fida Fidel's work, she talks about, she's, you know, still told the story of Rhea in the sense that like if you go back to like the Kronos, you know, version naming of things that Saturn eats possibility. Saturn ate his young, Kronos ate his young, um, and he eats possibility. But I kind of look at it more in the space of like we're now in the airy space of like, like what creates possibility. So, like, I think oftentimes we want to slap Saturn down in a way we kind of sit there and go, like, and also what we can do during this retrograde season, you know, we we go, how can I change my response? Like, let's say I'm really frustrated with what's in front of me, right? How can I change my response? Um, which is a big thing that has been a theme of all my mystery school work, all the psychedelic work, you start to see where I'm making things more difficult. Like the energy, like I'm creating my experience, the resistance that I'm feeling. It's literally somatic things that are happening in my body in response, but I'm creating that response. And then we get into that dopamine sort of thing of like, where are you getting your responses from? Like a big exam, you can examine that if you want. Or, you know, we can change our environment. One of one of those two things. And I think depending upon how we do that and how integrated that, we my kind of like overall thesis right now of what's like going out through October, it's kind of like back to the like we're gonna hit the Scorpio season and look at like what did I abandon?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I love that.

SPEAKER_01

And some things you should abandon. Some things you're gonna be like, thank thank goodness, and some things you're gonna be like, oh shit.

SPEAKER_00

No, no. I I I really consider that whenever I look at Venus and Scorpio, um I have this thing that whenever I started looking at progress charts, one of the first few charts was seeing a Venus and Scorpio in a progress chart, and this person had it retrograded since they were younger. And it I I mean, I call it the curse, Scorpio, but the curse is not bad. The curse is like it's a tattoo that's a part of you and it it walks with you, and it it's it's a forever remembrance of every interaction, and it just feels like it is a very special placement because it never forgets. And so every time it comes there, it always sits and it remembers what things were, how it was. I don't remember this podcast, but it was a podcast with two women that covered, they love to cover the decants and degrees in astrology. And I used to listen to them while I was driving to and from the airport in 2022, 2023, and it was related to just looking at the image of everything. They pull a card, they talk about it, but one of the ones I'll never forget, I still hear it, is when they covered the last decant of Scorpio, they called it nostalgia. And at that time, I hadn't fully understood my psychic ability, but the image that I had was it was this black rose that was slowly fading and the petals were falling off with with someone holding it towards a sunset. And I just remember getting so emotional about the fact that it was so beautiful, even in dying. And that's the sort of energy that I get here with this retrograde, even though it's gonna be the first like few degrees of Scorpio, it's not like the last decant, but the first decant of Scorpio is still Scorpio, like that Pluto energy is like this is the change. And the retrograding of Saturn and Chiron going back into Aries just puts you in such a like a wobbly liminal space where you're like, What do I do? Right? Uranus is gonna be retrograding. Um, like Pluto is still retrograded, and and you're just left here with the South Node with Jupiter and Mars in Aries, like, let me out. Like, they're gonna be like a absolutely feral creature. And for people that have Leo placements, I'm like, we have the the full moon in Aquarius on the 29th, right? And during that time, till that October 3rd, I really felt like it's a huge look at that Leo part of you because like when I when I was younger and I saw the the anime Naruto and he didn't realize why people looked at him the way that he did until he found that fox inside him that was that was just the root of everything. And he had to learn to be its friend and not just banish it. But that's what I feel for people, like that Leo energy, there there is a deep like this is what's always been me that you have to sit with and look at and give it a hug, even if it tries to scratch your entire face off, you know, because all the other planets are like, listen, that's you, that's you and this thing. You know, we're sitting on the sidelines, and just like you said, what when you talked about Saturn eating his children, like what came to my mind was, but he's trying to see what they taste like.

unknown

Right?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I mean that's that's kind of in a one way of like that's how you experience things. Well, and then maybe that's some that's some of that retrograde process too. You you you start to build it and then you take it apart, and you build it and you take it apart, and you see how it works.

SPEAKER_00

It's literally like Legos, but and probably a more painful way of going through life and learning. And you know, with the next month, it's not just the retrograde that highlights everything. It's it's pretty big, but like on the 9th, we're gonna have Mercury move into Leo, you know, after we we just had a Mercury retrograde recently, and we're gonna have another one not too much later. But Mercury and Leo is like, are we doing it the right way? You know, especially with this energy. Are we doing it the right way?

SPEAKER_01

I heard the words number just in my head, like before you before you said it were doing it the right way. Like, I feel like it's just gonna arrive and look at things and be like, yeah, no.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Or some things.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it's gonna be like, no.

SPEAKER_01

So it doesn't fit me.

SPEAKER_00

No, no, I I I definitely agree with that because when Mercury goes into Leo, it's almost like like a king stepping in or a queen stepping in, and they're like, What is this? You know, like if you ever come across a person with Mercury and Leo, like I knew a few in college and they they would call out some shit. And it's funny because especially like this one person that she only had the Leo Mercury, she had nothing else, she had cancer and everything else. And I'm just like, You're this tall. And you have the audacity to say some of the craziest shit to people, but it was always that Mercury. Like, I always, when I when I got into astrology and I found out her chart because we were friends, I was like, Maria, this is the this is the reason why you're the way you are. Like you're like 5'2 playing rugby with like six-foot women, and you're just willing to yell at people. It's displacement. So in a in the actual transit with people going through stuff, that Mercury's gonna come in first, and it's gonna give you a chance before Venus goes retrograde. Before like what could have been with this or that, it's gonna give you a chance because it's basically gonna say, Listen, I see that, no one else sees that. Work on that now. Well, Saturn's in retrograde before we have Chiron going, like, I need you to work on that because Mercury and Virgo is gonna have you overthink it, right? But if you can, if you can do it with Leo first, this shouldn't be too bad of a retrograde for you. At least I think.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and you know, I I I love that and I agree. Um, and there is something I love that you brought up Chiron because in all those things, like, yes, I've been watching the contacts with Chiron, you know, this little dance in the Taurus that we've had, you know, coming up, you know, little taste of maybe what eventually my Chiron will turn will will feel like. But um there's like Mercury is like kind of, I feel like, along this path to like to kind of judge and bring things into consciousness. And I think that's part of what that like when it hits Scorpio and it retrogrades, I think it's gonna retrograde from about 20 or 21 degrees, Scorpio, back to six, like the retrograde path of Venus and Scorpio overlap by like two or three degrees. And I and they're gonna have a conjunction in I don't feel like flipping from my notes, um, shortly after Venus retrogrades, um, right about at eight degrees, um, Scorpio. And I think that's gonna be part of like that chance of like that cog that cognition, you know, that oh shit sort of moment for some.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I'm gonna bounce around, like, because there's some things I love that you said about Venus and Scorpio too. Um, of like Venus knows what the pain of abandonment feels like, right? So like I think that's something where you know it's gonna be a little funeral for the things that we abandoned. But I think that's a necessary process. Like, I think that's a healthy process that we have to go through. And, you know, speaking of Chiron and speaking of this Venus and Mercury dance that's happening back back when we had when Mercury entered Shadow back in June and uh 16 degrees uh cancer. Um I think it was if I can do math of things. What was square? There was something square chiron. Do math for me if we got Aries. Chiron was still in Aries. Yes. Uh Venus was in Jupiter. Yeah, I think Venus was square. I mean, kind of Jupiter was there too, but Venus was square, Chiron and Aries. And then we stepped out, we just had Venus go direct, and the very first thing after that is I think like Friday, Venus and uh Mercury had a sextile. So like there's this constant conversation that's happening back and forth. And then we're gonna end up back with you know, fast forward to to later, we're gonna end up with Chiron back, you know, in Aries. And I think. There's just gonna be this big revisiting of things. Um I have like way too many notes to have the exact transits right now, but that's okay.

SPEAKER_00

The I'll interject and just say what what I found was the the Venus in Leo on the 13th of June. Um, I think the the day before you said Friday, which was it was at 28 degrees squaring the Chiron and Aries on the 12th of June. And then once it moved in into Leo, then if I'm understanding correctly, that's like almost like a like a handshake, like, hey, we're gonna see each other later, you know. Exactly. But like someone you know in the first semester of a college dorm, and um, you take a class, maybe you get their contact, and then later you see them in another class several months later, and like, oh, I knew you, like, let's work together.

SPEAKER_01

Yep. Yeah, yeah. So like we started, uh to me, I think like there's something that occurred around the time of that Jupiter-Venus conjunction in Cancer that kind of was like, You said you cared about a thing. You said you really cared about a thing. We're gonna get to fall. How'd you do? Um, but along that way, you know, like you just said, we had Venus Square Chiron, and then um before it stepped into Taurus, you know, it made its way into Leo, and then um it eventually made its way, made contact with a South Node, and I think the moon was right there at the exact same time. Um, and you know, we're shedding some things, all that. But um, but yeah, I think it's gonna carry that conversation all the way through, um, this sort of time.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. And then in the background, what's so interesting is Pluto and Aquarius getting to like oh look at everything almost like a have you ever like supervise children and supervise them in a way that's like you're not stepping in, like you're observing them, like because children are okay. Well, let me not say like that. Humans are really interesting to people watch because they will show you human dynamics. And it's like I if if I didn't go into anything and I had no idea what I was doing, I was 90% sure I would have gone into behavioral psychology because I guess it's Scorpio, but like I enjoy watching people and what they do because they surprise me, but also like like you see people reach pivots and like genuine decisions that it's like, what would I do there? And when I think of this, Pluto being here in the early degrees of when you were saying when Venus went into Leo on that 13th of June, before it finished that square, it got a contact like view from Pluto. And then now later on, when Venus is retrograding, it's gonna get a contact view again from Pluto. And it's almost as if like Venus and Leo would very much be that morning star version of Venus. And Venus and Scorpio would be very much that evening star version. And I say this because when you compare these two, the morning star is like me. It's like this. I need this, you know, and the Chiron squared to that Venus at the 28 degrees of cancer is like this is the pain, this is the pimple. And so I have to do this from this trauma. I have to go apart this path and whatever. And Pluto's observing, like, okay, that kid pushed you. When you get up, how are you going to react? And then later on, another kid that you witness gets pushed, maybe it's the Venus and Scorpio, and you realize, like, maybe you can step in, or maybe you can say this or that. But you know, when you would when you'd brought up that whole idea of the Venus at the eight degrees, the immediate thought I had before you said funeral was going back through some sort of like reading. It was like a bubbly image of just talking to a deceased person and conversating about something that you never got to finish closing that this Venus transit lets you do.

SPEAKER_01

And I think before that, the 10th of August, we're gonna have Venus is gonna oppose Neptune. Um and I think but when it steps, I think it's the sixth that it steps into, yeah, like Venus hit hits Libra, and it's gonna have it's gonna be in conjunct Chiron. Which which day, which day does Chiron go retrograde? The third. So Chiron will just switch, yeah, switch directions and it's gonna make that indirect contact with Chiron. Um it's gonna be in the edge, you're gonna feel it, but right? And then it's gonna oppose Neptune, and I think it's just little points of like, how's that fantasy working out?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

It's it's like small. Have you seen uh have you seen Interstellar? I always love reference to Interstellar. Do you do you notice here how like in each and every parts of these points, do you see how there's like a Leo early degree thing happening? And I look at that and I'm just like, it's like when he's using the books or he's using the sand to speak to his daughter, it's like these different the image that comes to my mind is like someone walking through those one of like roundabout doors, and it's like you're just barely missing the person on the other side, but you can see them enough to like do a gesture about something. Like all three of these Leo, whether it was the Sun and Jupiter during that August, whether it is Mars and Leo, whether it was Venus, and how they're they're they're interacting with Pluto, like okay, I'm working on it, you know, and Pluto's just looking at it, and it's like Pluto's looking at Saturn like, hey, is it time yet? Because I don't know if they're getting it done yet. And you know, Pluto is basically the person that no one is seeing. What's that allegory with the the cave? Is it Plato's cave? Yeah, but it's Plato's cave, right? Pluto is the one shining the light. Yep. But he's changed places with Capricorn, who didn't care about the way that people perceive the light. He wanted his image. And Pluto's here like, where are we starting from? That's what it really feels like. And he's employing Saturn to move the light this way and this way, so he can see how you all react and how you humans are deciding to go about things before he allows what I'm gonna say. Like, when Pluto gets into Pisces, he allows his step up, right? The feminine to come in and say, Okay, so this is what I saw. Like he's reporting back and he's gonna start causing chaos, but he's kind of observing right now because I still feel like even though we've gotten the Pluto and Aquarius, and there's a lot of stuff, you know, that we can dive into, I don't think we've fully gotten to see what Pluto's really about just yet. Like we're just kind of tiptoeing in because he's really just observing. He's like, hmm, humans do this when when I give them access to this. Let's see what they do, you know?

SPEAKER_01

You know, one, I love that description of Pluto, like all of that. I love is really beautiful, but like, yeah, I think I think you're right. And I think we're so distracted. We're gonna be so distracted with the Leo part of everything going on. We've got the eclipse, we've got the party of everything in Leo. I mean, like, you know, I love I love all that stuff at the top of my sky, except for, you know, when it, you know, makes me not want to be visible in certain ways. But, you know, that's that's all right. That's why we stretch. But like, you know, and then you like you said, Mercury's coming in there. Like, I think we're not really paying attention to Pluto, but like Juno's been retrograde sitting down there, uh, you know, have a little conversation for as much as people look at uh, you know, the asteroids. Um, you know, and I think it's more these themes of when I've talked about, like, I think this Venus and Virgo is really important because really grass tacks, like, what reality do you revere? What are you committed? What are you committed to? What are you devoted to? And then you've got Juno down there. And it's like, am I really committed to that? It's down there in Aquarius, um, before it's gonna step into Capricorn, you know, hanging out with Pluto, making contact with all these outer planets. And yeah, I I think that and there's something else that you said. Um I know there were some things that I wanted to jump to, but I can't remember if there's something that I'm forgetting that I wanted to touch on, so I can hop, but I'll just like let I'll p pass the mic back to you in that sense while I yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, yeah, no, no, of course. You spoke about the eclipses, and that was something that um I thought about last time we had eclipses, it was more in the you know, Pisces Virgo, and I call that the hysteria axis, you know, not because uh the joke that if if you've been alive, you don't really know how your immutable placements really work because Neptune was in Pisces for a decade. But if you live through that Pisces Virgo Axis saga and you were an adult, you know, it's if we saw a shirt while thrifting yesterday about the incident, and and I showed my wife and I was just like you would think this was the second coming of Christ, about the way that it took the masses, and not like a like picking aside thing in this conversation, but just how quickly things were pushed in front of you. And I really think that that was an important highlight, how quickly things were pushed in front of you about what you had to decide as the collective versus yourself, because the Pisces Virgo is like believe or rationalize, you know, how do you go about it? And then once you leave that hysteria, how is the full collective feeling after that? I think themes of that will pop up because of the fact that the North and South Node are kind of counterculture to what that eclipse will want to be, you know, like the eclipse is gonna be like, we gotta look at it this way. And the North and South Node is like, no, like that that's not the way it was. And the North Node is gonna push, especially when you bring up Juno. Pluto and Juno together is definitely like, you know, what do you what do you really want in in terms of commitment? And it's been sitting there for a little bit. And when the North Node pops in and it's like, hey Pluto, like it just feels like the North Node is such a scout. Like it feels like it's Hermes, and it's like, okay, I went all the way to that other side to see what the other team is doing of these humans, and the ones that you got in front of you are thinking this, but these people think this. Like, how what do you want to do for us to pull them together? And when they conjunct, when Pluto finally conjuncts with the North Node, I feel like that's a big pivot point. You know, Pluto's gonna be like, all right, let's all make them look at this and see if they can come together, or let's let's all make them um look at each other by like flashing the the light together and let's see what image they think is popping up on both of their caves. Because eventually, I think I don't know if I'm gonna be alive, am I? When Pluto gets into Aries, I would assume that it wants us to leave the cave. Right? Because some people are going to want to just simply die in the cave with Pluto and Pisces, and they'll stay there. And Pluto and Ares is like, Well, now that we've finally transformed, I want to be anew. Let me come out of the womb into this new age and not just stay in the old way.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I I think so too. And you know, we're gonna have all these Leo things that are happening, drawing attention to that that side of things. But like you said with the nodes, they they have an opposite agenda. And I wanna, if we've got time, I wanna go back to this full moon. I wanna talk about what Mars has been doing in relation to that, in relation to Venus and Gemini, its movement into cancer. But all of that, to me, you fast forward all the way out to November back to what you're saying of like Pluto's sitting out there, just you know, like looking at its watch, going, Man, I got time, you know, I'll wait for y'all to catch up and you know. We want to move all this stuff in the Leo direction of everything. But when, and it's actually when Venus and Mercury go direct, I believe they go direct the same day. It's November 14th, and that is right around when we have 14th, 15th is that range of the South Node Mars-Jupiter conjunction at 25, 26 degrees Leo, right about where we had close to where we're gonna have this August August eclipse. So, like, I think that's gonna be another point of moving us back towards the other direction.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, moving us back towards the direction of uh like the image is like flicking a coin. What are they gonna choose? You know, yeah, and and I I've been like did you like your choice?

SPEAKER_01

Did you like what you chose when you abandoned everything or you abandoned this and you moved off towards that and you had the funeral? How's that working out? And I can't remember now whether Jupiter and Mars are gonna be retrograde yet. I think they are, or what no? What are the dates?

SPEAKER_00

No, it's no, not yet.

SPEAKER_01

Not yet. No, not Jupiter, because Jupiter's not till December, but Mar, yeah, they won't be, but they're but they're gonna hang out back. I'm I'm thinking of it because they are gonna hang out by the South Node for quite a while. Yeah, so so yeah. Um, you want to talk about the full moon?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I'm I'm gonna talk about the full moon, but I'll say like I have I have spent like the past four months looking at that Mars South Node Jupiter situation because I have it in my solar return coming up, and I and I've been like, oof, what is this gonna be? You know, like I've I've been curious and in in in some instances of like, is it necessarily that I have to let go of this image of what I am, but is it really just a confrontation and like an audit of the decision after that I do before my birthday? And you brought that up, and I was like, that can be the case. And when everything goes direct the day next on the 14th, well, you know, that day specifically, but when everything goes direct, it's like okay, business as usual. Like it it just feels like pockets of time where you're just sitting with yourself and you're like, is this the right decision? Back to the game. Like, is this the right thing?

SPEAKER_01

You made your choice, and this is the right, this is the the soup you're now currently in.

SPEAKER_00

So yeah, yeah. I love that.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Um I I I do believe that we could go over that full moon. Um, and then we could just kind of close from that. We've talked a lot, but I'm I'm sure we could we could always do another episode because I'm sure people want to hear about that.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah. Um, and there's so much happening, right? And I feel like we're touching everything at a high level, and you can, I don't know whether that's my like Jupiter Saturn conjunction that's like, yeah, that's all great, but what's it for? You know, that's that's that's the coming in. But I just I don't wanna um I don't wanna leave out my boy Mars. He's he's important in my chart. Um, and so we have this full moon in Aquarius, um conjunct Pluto and Juno in opposition to Jupiter, which there's a Kazimi, right? And then we have what Uranus is gonna be trying from Gemini uh Pluto sitting there, so that's either helpful or um well you'll decide the next morning, I guess.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, probably, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah. But like there's a square that's happening between uh Mars in Gemini and Venus in Virgo. I just forgot words for a moment. Um but yeah, so like that kind of energy, like I keep thinking back, like because if I keep going back to like my like what do you what are you devoted to idea of things? Like for you could be in there kind of I gotta find the best, I gotta analyze things and find the best choice. Like, this is the best choice for my success, right? And this is the one that I'm gonna do. And maybe you're there or not. But like Mars out there in Gemini, like I feel like it's in the like land of endless possibilities or just moving towards impulses, kind of back to that dopamine thing we're talking about. Like, because like Gemini is where we're starting to translate reality, we name it into words. Um, and we don't necessarily put the meaning of everything together, but we start to assign meaning, whether it's right or not, you know what I mean? We're all living in our own reality bubble. Um, but he really wants to be out there responding quickly, you know. We're getting impatient with Saturn, but we've now Saturn's gone retrograde, so you've gonna kind of got that sort of energy going on, and you've got that tension between the two. And I think it was Rick Levine, I was on astrology hub. I know he was giving a talk um advertising his midpoints class, but he was talking about the midpoint of Venus and Mars is Jupiter and that Kazimi. Um, so I feel like it's just like you've got that tension, it's expanding that Jupiter Leo part even more, making people all hyped up on that side while Pluto is tapping its foot on the other side with a full moon. There's a chance for release there. But then you also have uh Chiron sitting out there at the beginning of Taurus that's like kind of a T square apex, you know, not a five, six degrees, but it's still there. And it will just it will not have yet have gone retrograde. But I think I think Mars, and because I think Mars is in a superior placement to Venus at that point, like it's just a very loud moon. I'm kind of just one curious. I wanna I wanna ask you what you're thinking about that moon. I'm still feeling into it, although I definitely feel like I feel like I feel it already because it's on the 29th, it's coming. Um but then we're gonna have Mars step into cancer, and it's gonna be like, but all that promise that you made back in that Jupiter Venus conjunction, like, are you really are you really caring for it?

SPEAKER_02

Doing it, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Really doing it later, Ceres is gonna move to cancer too. And you know, that's my you know, my natal placements there. I think you think you had said like that placement for me is like I will I will be willing to mother something to death.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Or death duel, you know, when we're talking about my dogs, but anyway, um there's a lot of stuff going on that at this moon is gonna be a big pressure point, I think.

SPEAKER_00

It is. And I and I would I would definitely say my my immediate thing is like I wish I could like people watch. Like I wish I could be a fly in everyone's home for this day.

SPEAKER_01

Me too.

SPEAKER_00

If it if it meant like I sat down and I just had like a viewing, like Oculus Rift headphones and headset, and just like observe humans because I really can't fathom how this is going. It's not just a regular full moon you have, and it's a theme. This is like four people arguing for the microphone in a very crowded pub. And it's like everyone knows there's gonna be a person on stage that's gonna get all this attention, but the the people arguing are trying to decide who gets to have the spotlight. And what she said, like I look at it and I'm like, yes, it is the full moon, but Pluto, Juno, Sun, Jupiter want a piece of the pie. Mars and Venus want a piece of the pie. Uranus is like, I actually don't care what piece I get. I just want to make sure this is a night to remember, whether it's with Jupiter and the Sun or Neptune and Aries. And then Chiron's like, can I just say my two cents with Jupiter and the Sun and Pluto and Aquarius? And it just keeps going because of the fact that your own placements that everyone has here is also going to be interacting with this. So we're talking about what's happening in the sky, but it's like, once again, at home for everyone, how is your Aries placement dealing with the Mercury being in Cancer with all of this? How is your Pisces um Sun or Saturn dealing with Venus and Virgo? Are themes coming back from when Saturn was in Pisces? Um, how is your, let's say you're part of the capitalism generation, as I call them, your Uranus and Neptune in Capricorn dealing with the issues that Saturn and Aries have been giving you? Do you even want to hear what Pluto and Leo have to say? Like, wouldn't that piss you off where it's like people are trying to play jazz and you just heard heavy metal for three hours? Like, I don't care what it is. I'm too overstimulated. Leave me out of it. And so these are the things that are going through my mind about this transit because if I just read it, like uh when I make my flashcards for Instagram, I I would look at this and just laugh and be like, listen, whatever happens, happens. But just realize that I don't know that you have a right choice due to Uranus in the mix. Uranus is sitting here in um, I know, like, for instance, like Mars versus Venus, the apex position between them, but like I really feel like Uranus is sitting here in a joker position. It's genuinely like, hey, I got three cups, one of them has money, one of them has a divorce, and one of them has diabetes or something. And I'm gonna swivel them around, and I want you to pick one. And then you pick one. And it's like you pick one that has like a turkey sandwich, and you're like, that wasn't even a part of this. How does that? Relate, but it's just because of the fact that that's what Uranus has been here to do throughout the retrograde. Throughout like Uranus, as I felt it, I've been trying to pin it down, and it's like Uranus is nothing, it's nothing real. Uranus has just been the illusion of the right choice. It's been like, hey, there's this, but there's also that. Did I make the right decision or did you not? Or is this the good way of going about things, or is this better? Who are your morals? How are you about this? And I'm like, I I told someone, Uranus and Gemini is like you've watched Loki in Marvel movies for so long and expected him to be a bad person. But then you watch that failure of a TV show and you realize that, like, hey, he's not actually that bad of a person. They just botched the next seasons. But that first season really showed you like just not seen for what he really does for us. Like he's probably out here keeping everything uh awry. And he's like, let me just give you a little something to keep you busy, and you're fumbling over it, like you're going crazy over it. And he's like, I literally keep time together. Like you can't even, you can't even, you can't even hang, you know. And I sit with that and I'm like, that's being someone that has Uranus, like most of the time, um, you know, I have Uranus squaring my sun, Uranus squaring my uh Jupiter squaring my Mercury, but the the the moon to my Venus and Mars already gives chaos. And then the Uranus comes in and it's like I had to I had to have a system with my wife where when I say things, I gotta let her know if I'm serious or not because I didn't I didn't realize this up until before her. But she's a dynamic person that can handle the different shades of me. But it's like I'll just be like consistent on one thing, and then it's like another third whatever comes out of nowhere and it'll throw her off, and I'm like, it's my fault. And I but I'm like, this is how I am, you know, that there's nothing else to it other than like, what about this? Like, let's just like I'm I'm pretty sure she wouldn't mind, but like the other day, I was speaking to her about a person that I read for, and let's say they had a Taurus moon, and my wife has a Taurus moon, and then to get to speaking about the Taurus Moon, the person that I read for, let's just say they're Polish, and I described a word like she she'd brought up a Polish word, and then I described literal ass in Polish, and then I got to the Taurus moon, and she was like, What? And and and then I had to be like, This is how I got here, and she was like, Oh, okay, I can see that, but like why? And I'm like, I don't know. Like my brain just works that way, you know. That's Uranus in this.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and I think a couple things, like I'm I'm almost gonna be like, I feel like I need to bullet things so I don't forget. I want to bring up like there's something that popped in my mind about Chiron that you said, but Uranus, like I feel like it's it's doing its job out there, you know. Like my my mention that Gemini is like it's where we it's where we're translating reality, right? And we're applying meaning to things and language, right? And then Uranus is out there to, I feel like, for better, like for better, for worse, it's like liberating us from our old translation. Because we're never because to me, like you never whatever you think is here in what reality is, like as you age, you're always like, no, I guess I was wrong about that, or you know, like, or your idea of things expands, right? So like I feel like it's just there, like, you know, like this flash of lightning to kind of like you can have these strikes of interpret. I feel like Uranus right now in Gemini is causing these like flash lightning strikes of interpretation of reality. And because Uranus is a trickster, that does not mean it was correct. You know what I mean? Every light bulb aha moment is not one that is. I mean, I don't even like correct because what is reality? You know, but like I think it's that it's there having that sex style with Neptune to show you, like I feel like it's there to show you where you, especially with Mars in Gemini in a certain sort of way. It's like you're translating, you're wanting to do something fast. And you know, some people are like needing to learn that energy, some people need to get to learn to get comfortable with like not making a plan and analyzing everything and just doing the thing, right? And some people have to be so sure about their meaning-making machines that like they're gonna have a little moment where like it might feel in some interpretations, and in because I think it's yes and that Uranus in contact with Neptune is very supportive, but it's also like a direct opportunity to uh find out where your delusions are. Um, and I think it's so it's this you know, out there as a joker to show you like where you're interpreting reality, and it brings in all these quantum sort of things. And I I brought in Uranus in well, in a way, like last time I did an integration group, we talked about the fool card, and I think about Crowley's interpretation of the full card and like the fool's path, and it's just that whole like whatever you think things are here for, like, yeah, but also like you your your oh your illusion and reality are always evolving, and to kind of be in a surrender to just you know, yeah, but you don't know, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

It it can never be perfect, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And I'm like, I think I heard this quote on what is it? Like Moon Omen's moon videos, because I like to listen to her new moon and full moon videos, but it fit with like the psychedelic work, and I feel like all the stuff fits even outside of the psychedelic work, and it's by Opensky, who was a Russian mystic and philosopher, um, and wrote this in like 1950, and it says like the greatest barrier to consciousness is the belief that one is conscious. So side quest tangent, but like Uranus is out there through all this, like Jupiter's getting all excited, reinvigorated by the sun and its Kazimi, filled with enthusiasm and belief out there in you know, out there in Leo. And I think you're right that there's that sort of trickster energy, but we've got Mars wants to do stuff, Mars just wants to let it be done and do stuff. Uh and so yeah, the moon it's yeah. Well, I feel like my my way of dealing with the moon is like, I'm gonna take a bath. I'm just gonna not do anything. Like, yeah. Because whatever I think is here for, like, my interpretation of reality is gonna rapidly change.

SPEAKER_00

So I like that. Mine has uh this might be crazy to say, but like I've actually tried to ignore it.

SPEAKER_01

That's what I mean, yeah, exactly.

SPEAKER_00

And just let it present itself. Yeah. I'll try to put myself in the circumstance. But with Aquarius, I'm just like, I don't even know what to do, so I'll just do my regular content stuff for for whatever.

SPEAKER_01

And I think like another way exact what you're saying, but like I think another way to say it perhaps um is like I could kind of ignore these big urges and things like that. And we're always trying to future forecast, we're time traveling, right? And I like I had some big like tension that I was dealing with. I think it was it was Friday. And I was and I was really annoyed and tense about something, and I couldn't decide. I felt very stuck, like I didn't like moving in either direction. And I was like, but literally, what do I want to do right now? And I was like, finish what's like on my corporate laptop that I need to do for work, and I was like, so that's what I'm gonna do. And so, like being in the now, like being in the Aries impulse of now, of moving towards the things that for me feel good in the body because it's my sixth house, but I think that's some of the like grounding into some of this. I think it's just you know, all comes back to like how are we grounding into there's just so much energy.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Says a person with a headache who's got her neck tight enough that her feet are currently like permanently asleep. So I'm working on it, I'm working on it, but yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I love that. I will I will say that I hope that everyone who is listening enjoyed this session. It was really fun to have no structure and just flow. You know, I I I really enjoyed having this conversation about uh the transits and how it has relayed to the both of us. You guys know where to find me, but um I know that you don't necessarily have a specific page tailored towards astrology stuff, but Katie, would you like to shout out where people can find you? And I'll also tag in whatever links that she shares with me as well.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, so you're right. I'm in the like obviously I have the astrology in my in my brain and I can talk about it. I do do readings. Um, I haven't actually, you know, I haven't reached a point where I'm like, I I think I have just so make an aversion to posting on social media that I don't know whether I need to get over it or not. But this Leo season will come come for me on that one. But yes, um on Instagram at New Medicine Rising and Um I have a link or I can put a link for for readings there. Um, but that's kind of it for now. I'm still walking my wits on you know where that where that's going in terms of a website, et cetera. So awesome.

SPEAKER_00

Well, thank you everyone. Uh and I'll see you guys in the next episode.
