SPEAKER_00:

Well, hi there. It's Troy Scott again with the Texan Edge. Hey, before we get started, I just want to make a quick shout out to Bob in Dallas. Thanks for listening, and I love having you along with us today. Our theme today is finishing strong, perseverance and pride in the final stretch. Well, here we are, December 1st. Can you believe it? Feels like this year just laced up its boots, and now it's already dusting them off. But here's the thing. This last stretch of the year, these final few weeks, that's where the real work gets done. The finish line doesn't mean slowing down, it means leaning in. Ever watch a long distance runner as they hit that final lap? They don't coast, they dig deep. And that's where all those early miles start paying off. Same thing happens in life, you know. It's easy to relax when the calendar's running out of pages, but Texans know better. We've seen enough dry summers and busted fences to know it ain't over until the gate's shut. And I've seen folks work right through December with a purpose. Ranch hands still fixing wire in a cold drizzle, a small business owner making one last delivery before Christmas Eve. Or a teacher staying late to wrap up a semester so her kids get the best that she can give them. They all understand something important. The last mile matters. That's the part that folks remember. So what does that mean for the rest of us? Well, maybe it's finishing that project that we've been putting off. You know, maybe it's mending a relationship that we got frayed sometime way back in April. Or maybe it's just taking time to say thank you to the people who helped make you get this far. However you cross the finish line, cross it proud. See, Texas isn't defined by how we start, it's really defined how we finish. So take a deep breath, square your shoulders, and keep going. The year's still yours to shape. This is the Texan Edge. Finish strong. And we'll see you tomorrow.
