SPEAKER_01:

Ready? Ready. Hey everyone. Welcome back to the latest episode of Snitchin'. It's your host, Kristen.

SPEAKER_00:

And Brittany, get ready for the best part of your day.

SPEAKER_01:

We're coming to you a little bit late on this Monday. And that's because Britt and I had a girls' day away yesterday.

SPEAKER_00:

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_01:

We went down to Plymouth for the day with some of our girlfriends. It was so fun.

SPEAKER_00:

It was a lot of fun. Yeah. Plymouth is great. I feel like it's if you want the real New England, Massachusetts experience, like that's it's peak Massachusetts.

SPEAKER_01:

It's very Massachusetts. Yeah. The old houses, even the house the Airbnb we stayed at like creepy. It was creepy. It was like built in the 1800s, 1000%. Definitely. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

I mean, it was a great place to stay, but yeah. No, right. It was like, I mean, we were just there for night, so like whatever. But yeah. Yeah. We had a blast. And we totally made such a great call with going like Sunday to Monday. Like, so we all took today off Monday. And I like it's so much better getting home and like my kids are at daycare rather than like Sunday get home and like, you know, you're just slammed back into parenting. So I've had just a little afternoon to myself.

SPEAKER_01:

I didn't even think about that for you guys, but yes, coming home and then having some hours just to debrief and no work. What a good move. Yeah. I mean, like when you're good, you're good. It's an A plus move. That was an A plus move. Well, it is funny because one of our friends is from South Carolina, has never been to Plymouth. Meesh, you guys know Meesh. And she's like, Oh, let's go see Plymouth Rock. All of us are like, no. We're like, we're not gonna care. It's it's exactly what you think it is.

SPEAKER_00:

It's exactly what you think it is. Truly just a rock. Yeah, it's not like Europe where you know you like see a picture of it and it doesn't do it justice. Like you can look at a picture of Plymouth Rock and it and that's good. Yeah, you get the whole picture. Yeah. We were talking about going to Plymouth Plantation, that didn't end up happening.

SPEAKER_01:

No, low-key, Plymouth Plantation back in the day was the best field trip. Any Massachusetts kid. I'm curious. Every year. Every year. Every year. They're in the science museum. 1000%. It was that in the science museum every single year. And Plymouth Plantation was so legit.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. Well, now I was like looking it up. I don't think when we were younger, I don't think I've been to it. They had now they have like a real replica of the Mayflower.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh, that's cool. I guess for anyone who doesn't know, it's basically like they take you back in time. So like like pilgrims lived. You go on this plantation and it's like you see how they made like butter or whatever they did back then. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

So it's a very pilgrims community and like an Indians community or Native Americans. Yes. And yeah, we should and we fucked up because it's like so close to Thanksgiving. It's probably like a perfect time to go there.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh well. It was it was fun as a kid. I would be cu I almost don't. Have you been back? Like have you brought the boys?

SPEAKER_00:

No. You're too little. No, I kind of forgot about it.

SPEAKER_01:

Well, I feel like I wonder if I went now, if like the magic of it would be as great. Because obviously when you're seeing it as a kid, everything's bigger and better. So maybe I'll just let that live in nostalgia.

SPEAKER_00:

I don't know though. Sometimes I appreciate that stuff more now. Cause like I wasn't like always paying attention and stuff.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah. Yeah. I was a very imaginative kid. So I was definitely like playing pretend the whole time I was there and pretending to kill them. 1000%. But like I don't remember like the fun facts and stuff. Yeah, same. Life would be so hard back then. Ugh. My God. Terrible. Me and my dad have talked about this. If we, I think we were watching Vikings or something. And it was like, if we lived in that day and age when there wasn't modern medicine, like how long would you have lasted? And I would not have made it past, I had surgery when I was a baby on my intestines. So I would not have made it past like three months. I was a governor. I probably would have died in childbirth. There well, so but you would have made it to your 20s, your 30s.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, well, yeah, until I was just 30. Yeah, just 30. Yeah, that's true. Um, but yeah, like that's like, you know, old age for them. I know. Well, you would have been one of the oldest on the farm.

unknown:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

No, I just I would need to take a shower, but oh my god, like being pregnant in childbirth would be like 10 times scarier.

SPEAKER_01:

Can you imagine? You would have no no drugs, no epidural. No. Oh yeah, it's like it's like people died a lot. I know. Childbirth. So crazy. I think we said that the only person I know who probably would have like made it a long time is Melissa. Oh, really? I think she would still be kicking. Yeah. Good for her. Yeah, yeah. I mean, go Melissa. Kind of a weird subject, I know, but it's a little morbid. But it is interesting to think about. Like this is so harsh back then. Survival of the fittest to this to the tenth degree. Oh, yeah, totally. We also did come to realize when we were all together, something maybe that's a little strange, strange behavior on my part. And so we're yeah. I'm curious if anyone else does this. I do not have notifications on for any app on my tel on my phone.

SPEAKER_00:

I don't have it for I only have it for like texting and calling. And like some, I don't know how it does it, but some emails I get it.

SPEAKER_01:

Like people who have 500 plus emails and you see that number on their fuck that we hate that.

unknown:

I hate it.

SPEAKER_01:

Can't think about it. Can't even think about it. Can't even think about it. It's like I don't understand how that wouldn't bother someone.

SPEAKER_00:

That would bug the shit out of me. Yeah. Yeah. I know. Low-key though, I get so many fucking emails. Yeah. Oh, well.

SPEAKER_01:

I know. I you know who's bad about that is Lily Pulitzer. I have unsubscribed for Lily Pulitzer so many times, and I it's never, they never take me off the mailing list. It's so annoying. So annoying. I know. I actually did that. I went through, I might have talked about it on the pod, but I was I was bored one day. I legit went through my promotions inbox. Normally I just like mass click and delete, but I legit went through them and unsubscribed from every one that I didn't want to have emails from. It felt so good.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, yeah. Honestly, that would be something she would talk about in the happiness project.

SPEAKER_01:

Plug for the happiness project. We're talking about it Friday. Friday. Yeah, I definitely need to get reading stat on that. Yeah, that's good. Yeah, I think I'll like it. But I but on the notification front, I don't have any notifications. So if I receive a text message, I do not actually have a red alert on my phone. I have to go into the app and then I will see what texts I have. Same with my phone. Like if I have a missed call. I do miss phone calls. But you know what it is? I get, I don't know if I'm like put myself on too many marketing lists or I don't know, but I get spammed constantly.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh, yeah. I feel like my brother should talk about that. Apparently, the new iPhone update, you I think it like fixes, you get way less spam. I don't know. Oh really? Yeah. Oh, well, I'll have to check out. I don't really get that much spam. You don't get phone calls? I mean, I do, but like, I don't know. It's not like every single day. Okay.

SPEAKER_01:

On Saturday, I had four spam calls. Wow. One was from Kentucky, Hazel, Kentucky. One's Plano, Texas, one Nebraska. And then one, it's like the type of robocall where it's like it matches your area code. So it says a Boston area code. Yeah. It's not. Yeah. So I I kind of figure like I almost like it because it just, you know, whatever, I just don't even see it. And then if I go into my phone, I'll look at the voicemails. And if I have voicemails, I'll listen to them. And that's how I get my need to I, you know, the news I need to know.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, I mean, it's definitely crazy, but I can understand it. Gina thought it was especially crazy. Gina could not believe it.

SPEAKER_01:

I'm calling it protecting my peace. I don't need to see all this activity that's gonna be getting me to my phone. Look when I want to look. You know? Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

I uh yeah, it's very glanc of you. It's very Glennon.

SPEAKER_01:

I would say that it's a little type B of me. Oh, yes. With wait, type B? What's that one again? So this is another thing that we were talking about um yesterday. What type are you? There's type A, so very organized, maybe a little perfectionist, someone who's oh wait, the planner. Type B, I thought type B was like a very easygoing. People are telling me, well, we were saying that people were saying there's type C, which I guess is like the real easy, easy going. Like they don't know what's going on, basically, type of people. So the type Bs are like the in-between.

SPEAKER_00:

Wait, I just Googled it. Do you want to hear what it actually is? It says type A traits are ambitious, competitive, impatient, time conscious characteristics there, often energetic, take charge individuals who are driven and work well independently. They can be seen as workaholics and are often focused on achievement. Oh, that's different. Type B is relaxed, patient, flexible, easy-going. They're often friendly, charismatic, and enjoy life with a more laid-back approach to stress stress and challenges. They are not as ambitious as type A, but are generally more creative and less prone to stress. C, type C is analytical, detail-oriented, and conscientious. They're often creative, dependable, creative thinkers. A key feature is difficulty in expressing emotions and a tendency to be people pleaser who dislikes confrontation. They can appear quiet and reserved. Oh, I feel like that's different than we thought we thought. Totally different than what we thought. Yeah. Type C is like what I thought type A was. Same. I thought type A was like, you know, when people say like, oh, I'm type A, like perfectionist or whatever.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, that's the impression I have. Interesting. Learn something new. I mean, I do think that. Well, now I'm trying to think. I I think I am type B. Yeah, I think I'm B and C. I don't think I'm A. Yeah, I actually think I I am a little A.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, you are, because you're competitive. I am. Yeah. I mean, I am impatient. That's one of them.

SPEAKER_01:

Interesting.

SPEAKER_00:

Well, yeah, I would say I'm like B and maybe A sometimes. I mean the people pleaser part.

SPEAKER_01:

But I wonder if that's like a woman thing.

SPEAKER_00:

Right. Yeah, true. Less of like a personality trait.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, like more just the nurture nature we're conditioned to be people pleasers. Yeah, probably. Yeah. I don't know. I saw this TikTok where a girl was like, things that I do as a type B personality that drives my type A friend crazy. And the thing that I was like, oh, that's interesting. See, this is where I don't align with type B is that she was like, I have the caps off of everything in my bathroom. Like, there's no cap on the toothpaste, there's no cap on the shower. That's too much.

SPEAKER_00:

Agreed. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I wouldn't want to live like that.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, same. I wish I could remember the other ones. It was like, oh, the the other type B thing she said she did was, and I used to do this, but she will take her laundry from the dryer and instead of folding it and putting it away, she just puts it in the hamper and then like pulls from that. Oh, that's I don't like that. Yeah. You would do that? When I was younger, 1000%. I would like to write it. Oh yeah. When you were younger, yeah. Yeah. Hated putting clothes away.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh I don't like having my clean clothes in the dirty hamper. Same. I just don't want them to get wrinkled.

SPEAKER_01:

I'm actually like pretty quick to put them up now because I don't want them to be wrinkled.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, I just don't I dump them out of my bed and then I fold like even if I don't fold them right away, because I don't know, something about it being like in the dirty hamper after it was just cleaned. I get that. I don't like that. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

No, I get that. I do think it's specific to close that one for me. Like I hate putting laundry away. That's my least favorite chore by far.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. Mine's the trash. Taking the trash out. It's always like it just had such a shitty time. You have to do it.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

You know, it's like Tuesday night after work. You're like, I don't want to do this.

SPEAKER_01:

I feel lucky. I don't have that problem because I don't have to go outside with mine. Yeah, that's nice. Yeah. But anyway, let's get into it. We have a couple of topics for you today, and then we're gonna wrap with a snitch session. Should we start with the White Lotus news?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. Oh yeah. So I saw this one. It is for White Lotus fans out there. Season four is confirmed to be set in France with a production slated for 2026 potential 2027 premiere. So it's gonna be a while off, but apparently they're like doing the casting and stuff now, and there's gonna be like a little part of it in Paris. I am so excited for that.

SPEAKER_01:

France is a perfect location.

SPEAKER_00:

I know, same. I feel like the location matters a lot to me with that show. Me too, definitely. Yeah, we did before they were Thailand. Was it Hawaii? Hawaii was the first one, and then it was in Sicily. Right. Oh, I loved that one. That was my favorite season. Yeah. Where was it last year?

SPEAKER_01:

Thailand.

SPEAKER_00:

Thailand, right, yeah. Yeah, I I didn't really like last season that much. I didn't like the first season either.

SPEAKER_01:

I thought the second season was best, but I also do think it's because they had such a great cast, and it was kind of unknown like at the time. Like Leo Woodall, before he kind of blew up, he was on that show. He was the nephew. I think he's so cute. He's so cute. And his real life girlfriend, Megan Fahie, we love her. She was kind of like the breakout from that season. Wait, who? Megan Faehee. She's from. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. She um, I can't remember what her character's name was, but maybe Daphne. I don't know. But yeah, she was so good on that show.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, she was good. And yeah, the guy, yeah, she's dating now. What's the name? Leo Woodall.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, Leo Woodall. And they had like Aubrey Plaza on that uh season, Theo James. So yeah, that was a that was a killer season. But I think France could be, I mean, oh yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

I know setting the stage. I would definitely, if I could pick, I would probably pick France.

SPEAKER_01:

I mean, I would definitely pick Europe. Totally. And I saw something that Mike White has said that he won't go, which honestly, respect. He won't film medications. Yeah, fuck that. I would I would do the same. Like if I'm trying to go, I'm going to the warm weather.

SPEAKER_00:

Right. Like, and when you're like shooting and stuff, that probably is like so much harder. Totally. It's kind of funny the lore that White Lotus has. It's like it's not even It's not even that good. It's a very weird show. But yeah, you're for some reason you find yourself talking about it.

SPEAKER_01:

People go crazy for it. Like I feel like it's such a topic of conversation. And I even I watch it, but I don't know if I could pinpoint to your point, like what's so great about it. I don't know. It's like awkward a lot of the time. It's shocking. That's that's part. I think a lot of shows now go for like shock factor.

SPEAKER_00:

True. But like shock factor in not like a cool way, like in like an incest way.

SPEAKER_01:

I know. You know, I know or like taking like literally pooping.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. I just like I I mean my favorite part of it is like the city, like that you like get to see so much of the the place. So I'm excited for that.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah. And I do think every step, I mean last season was shocking at the end, and I was sad about who passed, who died. So, but I wonder who so do they have any like any rumblings about who'd be cast?

SPEAKER_00:

Oh, well, so everyone on the internet apparently really wants them to cast Chris Briney, the who is Conrad. They should. That would be amazing. I would love that. I could totally see that. I could totally see that.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, they should capitalize on him. I mean, he's like a big his star is very high right now.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, yeah. He's gotta get be getting some like offers. And like I would love to see him in something without belly.

SPEAKER_01:

I know. You know, it's funny. I feel like he's kind of an interesting guy. Like he seems a little grungy and kind of like whatever, like, you know, almost like too cool a little bit in his real life. I would be very curious to see, like, I wonder if I would like seeing him in a role that would be very different from Conrad Fisher, or if he's a little typecast in my mind where it's like, no, like I love Conrad Fisher. It's like how we like Jack Dawson specifically more than Leo. That's kind of how I feel.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, that's true. That's true. I don't know. I don't like this. Yeah, he's honestly not the best actor in Summer Turn Pretty, so but I think also he's a good actor. I feel like he acts with his eyes. I don't think he's a very good actor. It said uh casting. Casting's just underway. No cast members have been officially confirmed for the new season.

SPEAKER_01:

I think though he also does try to get, like Mike White tries to get unknowns.

SPEAKER_00:

Relevant people.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

That's true. Yeah. Oh, this also says there have been rumors of an all-star season in the future, though this is not expected to be season four. Oh, that'd be interesting. Yeah. I mean, it's kind of nice that you can like they can kind of go on and on with it.

SPEAKER_01:

I know.

SPEAKER_00:

They really could.

SPEAKER_01:

And I will say also, I like Mike White because he is a survivor stan and he went on the show Survivor, and he was hilarious. Oh, really? Yes.

SPEAKER_00:

That's a lot I didn't do that.

SPEAKER_01:

Yes. We love we love someone who just has a fandom, you know? Yeah. Yeah.

unknown:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

Speaking of, unless there's anything else with this with Lotus.

SPEAKER_00:

Just that. I mean, I'm I'm excited, but don't hold your breath. It's not coming out anytime soon.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah. Well, actually, we do we did hear of a new show that all of our friends are telling us to watch. So I think that's gonna be our next binge, especially since Dancing with the Stars is ending tomorrow, which is very sad.

SPEAKER_00:

I know.

SPEAKER_01:

I'm gonna sad.

SPEAKER_00:

Is it eight to eleven?

SPEAKER_01:

Eight to eleven. Oh, fuck that. I know, I know it's gonna be hard, but we'll power through. Yeah. So, but we were told to watch this show. It's called what's it called? All her faults or not her fault. One of those. Apparently, it's amazing. So it's on Peacock. Yeah, all her faults. That's what it is. And Dakota Fanning's in it, the girl from Succession, Sarah Snook, I think maybe. So that's what we'll be watching probably this week.

unknown:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

But anyway, um, but I I will say though, there it there's child kidnapping in it, which like normally I feel like I wouldn't watch that. But Gina, Kristen, I mean Gina, Tay, and Heather all said it was fine. So I trust their opinion, but normally, but so if you hear that there's kidnapping in it, apparently, like if you're triggered by that, you're still okay to watch it. It's a good PSA, it's good to know.

SPEAKER_01:

But anyway, yes, our fandoms. So we love Mike White for his survivor fandom and obviously our Taylor fandom. We're trying to spread out the Taylor talk, but it did come out this week that it's it's rumors are swirling that she's actually hosting her wedding or having her wedding at her Rhode Island Westerly mansion at holiday. I feel like that makes sense. I'm surprised. I thought that she would go elsewhere and and do a different venue because I feel like that house, I mean, it's it's so like out in the open, you know.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, it is.

SPEAKER_01:

So it's a little, but I guess it does make sense in the sense that they'll have more control, they can make it exactly what they want.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. That's what I was saying, like all her security and stuff. They can, you know. But they I bet it is June 13th.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh, I definitely think that she's getting married on the 13th.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, because the like place, like that rumor that everyone was spreading about how like someone who had the June 13th, like got paid to like switch their date, that place, that venue is like you can see her house from it. So it's probably probably bought it out for like guests.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, that makes sense. I mean, honestly, this is making it makes sense, like it's making me think. No wonder she put in that we were just talking about it last week in the her top five songs that she submitted for like her songwriter's hall of fame.

SPEAKER_00:

That's so true.

SPEAKER_01:

She put Last Great American Dynasty, which is about said house. Makes more sense. And I'm like, it makes more sense now. Who knew Rhode Island would be so important to her?

SPEAKER_00:

I know, I know. Well, and I'm trying to think too. I feel like like the paparazzi are gonna be able, if it's like outside or on the beach at all, like they're gonna be able to take pictures.

SPEAKER_01:

1000%.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh, I know. So thanks, Taylor.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, thanks, Taylor. I mean, I guess it's gonna be the social event of the year. Everyone's invited. I wish I was. I know. One day everyone's invited. What do you mean? Well, she was on Graham Norton, she was inviting Graham Norton to her wedding. She invited like Jimmy Fallon on. She was like, I'm having a huge affair. She was like, it's I'm inviting everybody.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh my god. She's definitely gonna have outfit changes. Oh, definitely, definitely. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah. So I mean, that's exciting that we know that we know the location.

SPEAKER_00:

I know, I know. And yeah, June 13th, that's perfect for her.

SPEAKER_01:

Do you think it could be though, just like she's saying this and then actually it's like throwing everyone off and they're gonna get married somewhere else?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, I do. I could see that too. But yeah, I don't know. Or she's I yeah, I mean, I could also see it being there. I don't know. I wouldn't be surprised either way. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

You know what I was thinking? This is kind of random, but I did think about this before. I was listening to Fleetwood Mac. You know how like Taylor loves Stevie Nicks? Mm-hmm. You know, she referenced her and Clara Beau and all that. I think that Taylor's favorite Fleetwood Mac song is Gold Dust Woman. Why? It's go and listen to it and tell me what you think. It's very like witchy. And yes, like kind of almost gives me a little mad woman vibes. Oh. You heard it here first. Yes, definitely. Like, yes, 1000%. It's such a good song, and I feel like I know this song. I just google the lyrics.

SPEAKER_00:

It's so good. I really think that could be her favorite. Yeah, I feel like that's a good call. Definitely. My favorite's dreams. That's a great one.

SPEAKER_01:

That's a great one. I would say my favorite is everywhere.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, that one's good.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah. I would say that one probably. Yeah. All right. Should we finish with a snitch session? Yeah, let's do it. Let's do it. Okay. This one is about deceit, I guess. Dear snitches, I got engaged over the summer, and until recently, I thought our relationship was completely honest. We also moved this year, and when I was moving, I found old lawyer letters that revealed that my fiance was married and divorced a few years before we met. He never once mentioned this major life event. When confronted, he admitted he kept it a secret because he was ashamed of the short-lived marriage. I'm shocked and feel like I don't know the man I'm I'm planning to marry. The deception, regardless of the reason, has broken my trust. Should I postpone the wedding? Yikes. Yikes. Yeah, that's tough. I find that very odd that you would omit. I actually was just talking to a friend about this who had been married before. And just like when you bring that up and when you feel comfortable telling someone, but it's crazy that you are. So I can understand that maybe it's something that it's a little, you know, maybe nerve-wracking to bring up to someone, sure.

SPEAKER_00:

That's what Melissa was saying on her episode. Remember? She was saying how like when she would like date new people, she was like so nervous to tell them. But like I feel like you have to tell them. Like she had the right approach, which is to tell them right away. I mean, it's kind of weird to hide it. I think it's weird to hide it. Like you have to really try to hide that.

SPEAKER_01:

That's a good point, right? Like, are they, I mean, no friends told you, or like, do you like this was never brought up?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. I mean, unless his family must they, yeah, I guess people just know not to talk about it to him. I don't know.

SPEAKER_01:

I feel like this is strange. I I I don't know. I mean, postponing a wedding, like that's like a really big thing, but something's definitely off. And I I probably would. I would have a lot of questions. Like, what caused, why did you guys get divorced? Why did you not tell me? Like, it has to be more than the ashamed piece. Like, that's not a good enough reason.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. Yeah. I don't know. I feel like it's a hard call. I would have to, I wish I could know like what they said the reason was. Like, maybe if if there was a reason that was believable, I wouldn't postpone, but I don't know what that would be.

SPEAKER_01:

I just don't get how you don't tell someone you're gonna marry that you were married before.

SPEAKER_00:

Like, I don't know how that doesn't come up ever, like even slip of the tongue or something, you know, like especially because they're gonna find out like eventually. Like you have to do a marriage license and you have to put if you're you've been divorced. Oh, really? Is that part of that? Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

I didn't know that. Yeah, I'm I I don't know. I would probably hit pause because if something this major is just was never brought up and he's acting like, I don't know, it's no big deal. That would just make me feel I do think the trust is broken. And I don't know, do you want to marry someone that you don't really trust?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. It sucks, though. That's hard because it's not like they like cheated. Right. But yeah, it's still it's but it's still, yeah, because it's like you have to try like really try to hide that. And it's very sketchy.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah. It's like there's no shame in it. Like, yeah, like you were saying when we were talking about it with Melissa, there's no shame in being divorced, who cares? But it's just weird that you would hide it. That's what's you know, throw the flag. Like that's just yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

I know. Well, I feel that especially after talking to Melissa, because like in my mind, like, I don't know, I wouldn't think that that would be like weighing on someone that they were like engaged or almost married when they start dating people, but I mean it makes sense that it does.

SPEAKER_01:

I mean, I guess like anything, maybe you feel like you like air quotes failed, you know, failed at something. I mean, I can see why that would be maybe hard for people, but yeah. This is gonna be your life partner. I think it's just too big of a thing to conveniently not talk about. That's just strange. Yeah, and it's like when you find something out like that about someone, it's shocking.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. Yeah. I would feel like they lied to me. I think I yeah, I would probably lean toward postponing it unless he had a reason that made sense and that it was believable.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, definitely. I don't know. Good luck. I'm I think my advice is to is to pause if you're feeling unsure. I would definitely talk to friends and family and maybe even some of like his friends and family about why what happened here. Why why did no one ever bring this up?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, like this is totally backfiring on this guy because now she's just gonna become more interested in it than if he just told her up front.

SPEAKER_01:

I know it's so hard to when you break trust because you can't you can't bring it back, like you can't build it back the same way.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

That sucks. That sucks.

SPEAKER_00:

Wish the best for you.

SPEAKER_01:

Good luck.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

But that's all we have time for today. A little bit of a shorter episode. We'll be back on Wednesday with our friend Nelson. We're gonna be talking all things chef life, and then we'll be back on talking about the happiness project.

SPEAKER_00:

Don't forget.

SPEAKER_01:

Talking about the happiness project, yes.

SPEAKER_00:

We're very it will be it will be relevant for everyone, even if you didn't read the book, similar to untamed.

SPEAKER_01:

So yeah, exactly. I mean, we're still talking about Glenn constantly. We bring up our girl Glennon all the time. All the time, yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Legit. Yeah, it's I would say the happiness project's not as good as Glennon, but it's it's good. And yeah, remember to like us, comment, follow us at snatchypod on TikTok and Instagram. Go to our website, snatch yourpodcast.com, and tell everyone you know about us. Thanks everyone. Bye. Bye.
