Ready? Ready. Hey everyone. Welcome to the latest episode of Snitch. And it's your host, Kristen.
SPEAKER_00:And Brittany, get ready for the best part of your day.
SPEAKER_02:Happy Friday, everyone. We hope everyone had a great week. Crazy to think that we're two weeks away from Christmas. I feel like December's flying by.
SPEAKER_00:Crazy. I know. Whatever. Thank God. December fly by all you want. Fine by me. Get cold here. I know.
SPEAKER_02:I know. I will say I'm very excited to get out of the cold for a little while. I'm going to Miami at the end of the Miami, Florida Keys at the end of the month. Your girl's going to soak up some of that sunshine. Yeah. Amen. Amen, sister. I mean, we've said this before. I really think if there's any time to take a trip, if you can finagle it, it's like January, February. Yeah. Best time to go. We got a couple long months ahead. Yeah. But we're here for you. But we're here. We're in the holiday season and we're going to be positive about it. You know, it's a great time of year, very festive. We're actually celebrating this weekend with a get together with some of our friends. We're doing an ornament swap. Have you gotten your ornament yet? I did. I did. Oh. I'm not going to tell you what it is.
SPEAKER_00:Let's go. Chris actually picked it out.
SPEAKER_02:You know, I am a little surprised, but I'm not. He's a great, he's Mr. Christmas.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. Yeah. I know. We were like driving around. We were like driving back from something, and Connor fell asleep in the car, and it was like, you know, 4 p.m., which we call no man's land with the kids. Like, you know, there's nothing to really do with them. So Chris was like, Do we have to do any errands? I was like, Well, I need an ornament at the paper store. Like, we can stop there. And he like went to wake up Connor, and I was like, No, over my dead body, Chris. Wake that kid up. I was like screaming at him. So I was like, I'll sit in the car with Connor and you go in with Tyler. And I don't care if you pick my ornament.
SPEAKER_02:So there we go.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. What are we thinking?
SPEAKER_02:Not worth, not worth waking a sleeping child. No, no, no. We also have some exciting news today. Today is our official 12-month anniversary of our first episode of Snitchin.
SPEAKER_00:Yay. Woo woo. Can you believe? I know, right? I feel like it's feels like it's been short, but also like we've been doing it forever.
SPEAKER_02:I feel the exact same way. When I realized the date, it was like, man, I feel like our first episode feels so long ago. Yeah. So long ago. But at the same time, I feel like it's kind of flown by. Yeah. Yeah. It's weird. We said when we started this, so we're going to commit to doing a year of the pod and reevaluate at the end of that year. And I'm, I just can't believe it's already halfway through. That's insane.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, we're not going anywhere.
SPEAKER_02:We're not going anywhere yet. No, we are fully full send, full throttle. What do you think is the biggest thing we've maybe like favorite thing about doing the pod so far, but also like biggest thing we've learned? Hmm.
SPEAKER_00:I feel like honestly, my favorite thing is like talking to all of our guests and like hearing my friends like talk about, you know, like be smart. You know what I mean? Like talk about their jobs or like talk about like struggles they've been through or like, you know, highs and lows. And yeah, I feel like just like hearing all my friends talk about like, you know, their skills and and whatnot has been really fun. I've learned a lot.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, I agree. I think our guest episodes have been some of my favorites. There's obviously, I mean, I love just the episodes where it's the two of us. It's just so fun, so easy. But the guest ones are really cool. Also just because I feel like we've gotten a chance to catch up with people that I haven't talked to in literally years. Yeah. Yeah. Definitely. Yeah. And that's just such a fun thing to get to do. I think my favorite, though, the most like boost of energy I get is when you hear someone asked about, like, asked a friend of a friend about the pod or something. Oh, well, yeah. That's true. That's true. That is like, what? Yeah, we get really excited. Yeah. I'm like, am I famous? That might be my favorite part. Or where we get like a random text or something. Like Gina texted us that she knew someone who had a group text and put in the group text, like, have you guys listened to this episode of Snitchin? And I was literally Yeah, so excited. Through the roof.
unknown:Yeah.
SPEAKER_02:Through the roof. So just thank you, everyone who's listened. Thanks for all of our supporters. We're, you know, this has been so much fun. We want to keep it going. Any support, we really appreciate. Any especially ratings on Spotify or Apple, wherever you listen, if you are liking what you're hearing, and even if you're not, but any engagement, if you could give us a rating or a follow, like so, so, so appreciated. Every single time we get a new rating, we notice it. And it makes our year literal, like actually.
SPEAKER_00:Literally. You truly just took the words out of my mouth. Yeah. It literally makes my mood go like from zero to a hundred.
SPEAKER_02:No, I know. Same. You know what's crazy though, also? Cause it is so hard like to get you know followers on Spotify. The people who actually take the time to hit follow on your show. I feel like for some reason I pay attention to Spotify more than Apple. Maybe because I use Spotify for listening to podcasts. So I don't know. But we've only grown our following, but then we got someone who unfollowed us this week. No. No, I know Britney. And I literally was like, okay, just you can't get hung up on that. It's not that big a deal. It's gonna happen. It's gonna happen. It was one person, or like when people unfollow us on Insta or stuff. I I like it's I'm like, did we say something offensive? No, it's and literally was right after our video episode. And I was like, oh my god, they hate us. Like, yeah. So those things, but it's like you just can't take it personally, but it's hard not to.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, yeah, it's hard not to. But you know what? At the end of the day, though, it's like just go for it. I feel like that's another thing I've learned. It's like just go for it. And the worst that could happen is people unfollow you, and like, yeah, that sucks, but like it's not worth not doing it.
SPEAKER_02:No, 1000%. I have loved doing it. And also, I just feel like we have no what if. That's huge. Huge. If we never did it, we would always be like, what if we did a pod? We'd be so it'd be so great. It'd be so fun. And now we know.
SPEAKER_00:I know.
SPEAKER_02:Now we know.
SPEAKER_00:So I'm celebrate and just in time for Taylor's birthday. Yeah, it worked out so perfectly.
SPEAKER_02:Right, right. We I know. And the Taylor docuseries.
SPEAKER_00:We haven't watched it yet, but it's out this weekend. So I'm so excited to watch it. So I was just telling Kristen, I thought it was on, I thought it was out yesterday. I kept thinking yesterday was the 12th for some reason. And I like got up and I was like, oh, let me just see it on Disney Plus because you know I'm always in there for my kids. Yeah. It wasn't out yet, but it actually worked out perfectly because Chris has plans tonight. So I have a lovely little Friday night watching the RS tour all by myself.
SPEAKER_02:I don't know if I would pick something else better for you to do on a Friday. Like I really feel like that's like a mecca. Yeah, I might have to like go to the grocery store or something, get like some special snacks or something. No, I really no, Brittany. I really think you should. I think that you should like get all your favorite things.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, yeah. I might have to like watch the TTPD part before the end of the day. Do you, boo? Like during work.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I feel that.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, I can't wait. It's gonna be great. It is. Oh, I also saw that she starts out the first one. She talks about Vienna being canceled.
SPEAKER_02:Oh, I love that. Wait, Justice for Vienna. We were there.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, justice for those Vienna Swifties. Keep an eye out for us in the documentary, too.
SPEAKER_02:I like I feel like it's most likely probably not.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_02:But I'm holding out hope. And yeah, that would be that. I mean, talk about making our year. That would the fact that Taylor Swift has seen us. That would really make our year. Well, our we got that good Swifty karma. We'll see. We really do. Karma's a cat. Yeah. But we have some great stories for you today. And this first one, like, I really I'm I just am excited to talk about it. Should we should we do it? Yeah, let's do it. Okay. Chloe Kardashian has been spotted commenting and flirting and shooting her shot with a very hot high school teacher on Instagram. Very attractive. Very attractive. So here's the story. There was a teacher in Santa Clara, I believe, California. His name is Jacob Myers Norris. He posted himself on Instagram. It was him standing up. It had some facts about himself. It talked about that he's Italian, he likes to cook, he was a college athlete, he has a bachelor's and a master's, he coaches. Wow. No, I mean, really putting himself out there.
SPEAKER_00:I know. What do you think of that? First off, I mean, I love that. I think that's awesome for a guy to do that. You never see guys doing that.
SPEAKER_02:I know. I feel like if anything, I've seen girls posting their male relatives or friends being like, anyone, yeah, I know a great guy. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. And dang, he's everyone go check this guy out. He's yeah, we should probably repost it. He's very cute. Very cute. Yeah. So he's about to find a girl in a second. So at the end of it, he captioned somewhere out there is a woman who's gonna ask how my my school day was. Chloe, being the gem that she is, commented and said, How was your day? So, and she did it in the comment section, which what a queen.
SPEAKER_00:I love that. I I would totally do that if I was like famous, just to like freak people out, you know.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, yeah, totally. And and there was a little back and forth. So then he replied to her saying, Mine's great, how is yours? She responded, mine's great too. Yes, it didn't just end with the one comment. And obviously the internet's losing their minds as they should. And then he said, like, check your DMs or something. So he then messaged her privately. But I just gotta say, I need Chloe to just be the happiest girl ever. Yeah, I love Chloe.
SPEAKER_00:She's so real, relatable.
SPEAKER_02:I feel like she's the best mom. You always see her with Rob's daughter Dream. I feel like every Kardashian sister is always like Chloe's like the best, she's the rock. She, you know, she everyone the most down to earth. Totally the most down to earth. And she's just such a babe. Like, I feel like she's truly the entire package. Like, yeah, if you're looking for a comfy woman, someone who's gonna make your home cozy, like I think that's her. I feel like she's gonna be a ride or die show-up for you. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00:And like props to her because it she could easily go the other way, like Rob, but not even Rob, because like she's you know, a little bit different than the other sisters, like taller, bigger. We've talked about this before. So, like, she could easily be, you know, saddened in her feelings about that, but like she's not at all. She's kills it, she looks great.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, I feel like everyone has a lot of empathy for her because she was known as like the bigger sister for the first like five years. Yeah, I feel like she now looks a fun. Her body's insane. Yeah, she looks awesome. Yeah, she and I feel like her and Kim and Chris really carry the Kardashian show. Like, yeah, Kendall and Kylie aren't really in it as much. Courtney definitely isn't in it as much. She doesn't try that much that hard, yeah. Yeah. So I just feel like maybe because we get to see Chloe more too, we feel like more connected to her, but she's just the best. I will say too, I don't know if you knew this about her, but she said on a late on an episode recently of the Kardashians that she hasn't had sex in three years. Whoa. She's remaining celibate until like until I the next guy, but I think she's really, you know.
SPEAKER_00:So she hasn't had a serious relationship in three years either.
SPEAKER_02:No, but I mean her last relationship was Tristan, which doozy cheated on her three times.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. And then before that it was Lamar, right? Yeah. Yeah. That didn't go well either.
SPEAKER_02:No, I feel like these men don't. I mean, Lamar, I think, had a lot of substance issues, which is a separate thing, I think. I think Tristan is just an asshole. Yeah, I think he can't. It's weird because I I told you this. We talked about this on an episode. Kim Kardashian went on call her daddy. Yeah. And was like singing Tristan's praises, was talking about how in relationship to her, in relation to her relationship with Kanye, who literally doesn't even really see their kids, like might drop in every once every few months. Like she said, really, he's just not around. She raises them full time. Yeah. She was talking a lot about more than once, brought up how Tristan and Chloe have a great co-parenting relationship. He drops the kids off every day. Like they're in he's involved. So I'm happy for her that she has that.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. And yeah, because both of her kids are from Tristan, right?
SPEAKER_01:Yeah.
SPEAKER_00:And I think it was similar to Kylie. Like they broke up and they she still got pregnant with the second kid, or were they dating that whole time?
SPEAKER_02:So this, so the big scandal, I could have the dates a little confused, but I was watching the Kardashians around this time. The the real reason why Tristan's also like even more of an asshole is because she was pregnant with their second and then he cheated. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's terrible. Can you imagine? She she found out days before giving birth.
SPEAKER_00:No, men, you gotta bow down to your wife or girlfriend or whatever when she's pregnant because she's doing a lot for you and you're doing nothing. You owe her. You owe her. She's cooking a baby. You should be rubbing her feet, getting all her stuff, doing all the work, not cheating.
SPEAKER_02:I felt so bad for her. And you got their live reactions, like from all the sisters as they found out. Who knows if that was produced, but it looked real. And it was just everyone was like, Oh my god, she's gonna die. Like, who's gonna tell her? It was it was so sad. Yeah, like do you wait, but you really can't. I feel like in their position, you can't. Yeah. Oh, yeah, that's horrible. I know. I don't like having my feet rubbed. Sorry, side note. Oh, I love a foot massage. Whenever I go get a massage and I love a massage, I purposely tell them don't touch my feet. I I have like even getting a pedicure sometimes, it's my feet are very ticklish.
SPEAKER_00:Oh, wow. Well, that like I feel like that could say something to you because your feet like hold a lot of your, I mean, this is gonna sound like weird, but like your stress and stuff, like your feet connect to like each part of your body. So like different parts of your foot. That's why they say like women that are like about to give birth, like get a pedicure because it can like stimulate, you know, your body or whatever. Because all the fascia in your feet connects to like all the fascia throughout your body.
SPEAKER_02:Okay. Literally have never heard the word fascia in my life before. What does that mean?
SPEAKER_00:It's like your like mush, like it's like that white stuff in between the muscle, like you know, holds your muscles together. Oh my god, Brittany, hello, biology. Well, I've heard that from Pilates and like getting massages, but yeah, like your feet and it like it can hurt to get a foot massage, but it's like if you're like doing like your toes, it can like help like your shoulders or something.
SPEAKER_02:Oh my god, that's fascinating.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, it is a lot of times. Like people at physical therapy too, like if you're if you have like a hip problem, they'll like work just as much on your feet.
SPEAKER_02:Okay, I'm going over to Michelle's tonight. I'm gonna ask her tons of questions about this. Oh, yeah, yeah. That is really interesting. So, what do you think it says if I don't like getting my feet massacre? Like if it's too ticklish, I wonder if that's a bad idea. No, but I mean that's a lot. I think that's a lot. I feel like it's a comment immediately on the defense.
SPEAKER_00:I feel no, I yeah, I think a lot of people don't like like their feet like getting a pedicure. I think that's not that weird. But maybe if there's like a certain spot, then it's like connected to like your liver or something. Yeah, well, that's been taking a whacking lately recently, holidays. But yeah, I like doing the theragun on my feet. If anyone has a theragun, do it on your feet. It's amazing.
SPEAKER_02:Dude, I really that's so interesting. I'm gonna like read about this. I have to ask, who do you think? I was thinking about this when I was reading this article about Chloe. Like, did we ever have a hot teacher?
SPEAKER_00:No, but we had a teacher who had a hot brother.
SPEAKER_01:Oh my god.
SPEAKER_00:That's the first one that comes to mind for me. We yes, yeah.
SPEAKER_02:I I don't think I don't think in high school we ever had a hot teacher. Like there was never No, not really.
SPEAKER_00:I mean, maybe it also gets misconstrued because just because like if someone's like younger, like in their 30s, like people think they're attractive. But that's being like a super hot teacher.
SPEAKER_02:No, I mean my favorite teacher was our physics teacher by far, Mr. Mike. Yeah, he was the man. He was the man, he was the man. Such so engaging. Every student loved him. And yeah, such a great teacher.
SPEAKER_00:Like, I didn't even have to study for his tests.
SPEAKER_02:Yes, so good. But you know who came to mind for and it's only because he's young. Like, I think if I saw a photo of him now, I'd be curious what I thought. Eighth grade, I'm pretty sure we were in the same class. Math, Mr. Spillane. I don't think he was that attractive. I he was the only one that came to mind, but I think to your point, it was because he might have been in his 20. Yeah. I remember he liked basketball. That was it.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, Chris, like when he was, he had like a year before he like started his job and graduated, he had to do like tests or whatever, and he substitute taught. Do you remember that? No, I don't remember. In like the middle school, yeah, he would be like a substitute. Yeah, he said like the girls like loved him because he was young. I was like, okay, okay. Okay, whatever.
unknown:Yeah.
SPEAKER_00:And then my cousin Trevor was in the the grade and spread a rumor that Chris had diabetes. Random rumor. Wait, what? That's so random. So random.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah. Oh, that's really funny that he spread a rumor he has diabetes. Oh my god. Not even though, you know, support to the diabetes community. And now it's not totally 100%.
SPEAKER_00:It's not funny. It's not a joke, but it's just like the most random rumor. Chris has diabetes. Like say he has like herpes or something.
SPEAKER_02:Oh my god. No. I mean, for Chris now has diabetes in my mind. That's really good. Well, I really hope, I really hope that something, even a like a short fling, happens with this teacher and Chloe and you go girl, wishing the best.
SPEAKER_00:I want to know like who are his previous relationships. He's so attractive. Yeah, he is. I mean, there's no way he's like, you know, never had a girlfriend or anything.
SPEAKER_01:No, yeah, definitely. Definitely.
SPEAKER_00:I won't well, I guess we'll see. Are they on Hulu right now? I've never watched it on Hulu.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, they're on Hulu.
SPEAKER_00:I wonder if Timothy Chalamet is on it. Probably not. I haven't seen him yet on it. No, he hasn't been on. Of him.
SPEAKER_02:It's good. It's a little different. I mean, but it's just very heavy on Chris, Kim, Chloe.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. They really carry the show.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, they definitely do. Should we move on to our next? Okay, so I'm actually very excited to talk about this one too because we can get back a little bit into our dancing with the stars. Yay. I'm missing dancing with the stars. Oh, same, Britney. Same. Yeah, it sucks. We no, I think, but you know what? It's okay. We have Vanderpump is obviously shit in the bed. Like, that's not gonna be our new show.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. Well, we have the Eras Tour. That'll carry us for like three weeks.
SPEAKER_02:Yes, exactly. And Stranger Things.
SPEAKER_00:Stranger Things, yeah. I actually started a new season.
SPEAKER_02:Oh, okay, great. Maybe we can talk about that next week because I do want to talk about that.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, I feel like I have one thing to say. I do not like emo Dustin.
SPEAKER_02:Oh, I didn't even think about that. Like angsty.
SPEAKER_00:I like when he's like cute and funny.
SPEAKER_02:I know, but his spoiler, spoiler, skip ahead, 30 seconds. But his bestie died.
SPEAKER_00:Eddie. Yeah, I know. And he like I rewatched that again and I was like, damn, he didn't really need to die. Like he, I don't think he needed to die. It was kind. Of like a meaningless death.
SPEAKER_02:Oh yeah. Duffer Brothers. I know. But it's like at the same time, not a lot of people die in that show. I mean, they've had some deaths, but like the original cast. So I feel like they did need something a little bit like that. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00:They have to make like main people die so that you know, yeah, you get to point across. I loved Eddie. I did too. I loved Eddie. Yeah, he was a great character.
SPEAKER_02:Season four was really good.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, I know. Like, I feel like not every season of Stranger Things has been good, but yeah, season four was wicked good. And I mean, this one so far has seems good. I'm only like two episodes in.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, I started watching it kind of well, so I had the same thought as you where I was like, do I need to rewatch some of the old stuff? Just because I have, I mean, it's been years. I have no idea what happened. I did some of the stuff on Netflix where it's like the four-minute recap of the different seasons. It was like not the most clear, but I was like, whatever, I'm just gonna get into it and watch season five and see how it goes. And I was pretty much hooked right away. And I felt like I pretty much was like, oh right, that happened, that happened. So I felt up to date.
SPEAKER_00:What do you think about like Steve and Nancy and what's the other kid's name again?
SPEAKER_02:Oh shoot. Yeah, Will's brother. Will's brother. Yeah. I so I honestly wish Steve and Robin could be together. Like, yeah, that's the couple I'm shipping.
SPEAKER_00:I didn't realize that she's Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawk, right?
SPEAKER_02:Yeah.
SPEAKER_00:The daughter. Yeah. Oh, it's Jonathan. That's his name. Jonathan, right.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, Maya Hawk. She, I know, right? Can you like what a superstar she's a good actor too? I know. She is. I like her. She seems very normal for being a Nepo baby.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, yeah. I mean, I think the Nepo baby thing, it's like every industry has nepotism. It's part of the big thing. Totally.
SPEAKER_02:It's part of that. I I agree with you. I feel like people who hate on Nepo babies, it's like, well, what do you want them to do if they want to act? Like, yeah.
SPEAKER_00:You got to use what you can, your resources.
SPEAKER_02:Like 1,000%. Sure. Some people are better than others. I mean, like, I can't think of Nepo baby where I'm like, oh, they're not a good actor. But like my hawk seems like a good actress.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. I can totally tell her resemblance with uh Uma Thurman, too. Oh, 1000%. Yes. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02:No, that's a really good point. I'm glad you brought that up because I feel like people get all hot and bothered about Nepo babies. And I I agree with you. I'm like, just what are they supposed to do?
SPEAKER_00:You know? Yeah. Legit every industry has Nepo babies.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah.
SPEAKER_00:There isn't one that doesn't.
SPEAKER_02:I mean, sucks for people who don't have the connections, sure. But it's just, it is what it is. Life's not fair. Grab a helmet. Yeah. So, but anyway, back to our story. What was our story again?
SPEAKER_00:Alex Earl. So Alex Earl. Oh, wait, I have one more question to ask you. Hold on about Stranger Things.
SPEAKER_02:Oh, yeah, yeah. Shoot.
SPEAKER_00:You know, like how Max has that song that like brings her back to life. Yes, running up that hill. Oh, Brittany.
SPEAKER_02:Oh. I knew you'd like that question. Yeah, that's right up my alley. Honestly, like, I of course I want to go Taylor, of course. But I don't know if there would be okay, probably if I had to pick a Taylor. I mean, this is straight stream of consciousness, so bear with me. I would say style, but like I feel like running up that hill had an emotional component, you know, of like, come on, come on, baby, come on, darling. Like, I felt like it was like, I don't know if that would get me out of like a crisis. I think it could. Oh, I I mean, I definitely think it could.
SPEAKER_00:I feel like that's when it comes on and you're like, you know.
SPEAKER_02:No, truly, I'm in like a sh I'm in a performance mode. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. But my, I will say my mind went to just because I feel like I get really, I jam to it is share if I could turn back time.
SPEAKER_00:That's a good one. That I see that one's a little bit more like momentous or something, like more similar to running up that hill.
SPEAKER_02:Yes. Like it's really it's more rock heavy and it kind of has like a head. I just, yeah, I really can let loose on that. So one of those two.
SPEAKER_00:That's those are good. Those are good. What about you? Mine, honestly, the first one that came to my head, and I've never looked back, is Cruel Summer Live version. Yes. Cruel dilemma.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah. With you. Wait, I kind of want to take a quick peek at my like recently played and just see if there's anything else I might be missing on that. Because just make sure. Just make sure. When Max was that scene, I cried.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_02:Okay. Honestly, I went to yeah, I think Define Gravity. Oh, that's a good one. Preferably second half. If we if I'm with Vecna, if you could just fast forward to the part where she's already flying in the movie, you know, and she's really sending it. Like, I I'm out of there. I can I'm gonna outpace Vecna no problem. Yeah, that's true.
SPEAKER_00:So that song, yeah. I mean, you actually would have to divide defy gravity to beat Vecna. So yeah.
SPEAKER_02:No, thank you.
SPEAKER_00:Thank you.
SPEAKER_01:Great question.
unknown:All right.
SPEAKER_02:So anyway, back to Alex Earl, broke up with her boyfriend. Yes. So Alex Earl. So I mean, I feel like honestly, I don't think we talked about this much because Alex Earl, two years for two years, was dating NFL wide receiver. I believe he's a wide receiver. Yeah, Braxton Berrios. He plays for the Houston Texans. And he never made it to any of the Dancing with the Stars live shows. Yeah. A lot of people started commenting on that, speculating, but they denied, denied, denied, said it was because of the NFL schedule. He sent in a good wishes basically video with the finale. So they definitely did, I think, a pretty good job of just like diffusing and you know trying to cover on the rocks the whole time.
SPEAKER_00:That's what he did.
SPEAKER_02:Oh, definite, a definite.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, like Travis would have been there.
SPEAKER_02:I mean, well, the thing is to think about NFL. Like their game, most of their games are on Sunday. They have a day off on Monday.
SPEAKER_00:Tuesday is like the perfect day for them.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah. Oh, right. It's Tuesday, my bad. But yeah, I don't think they start practice until Wednesday.
unknown:Yeah.
SPEAKER_00:I mean, like, you can't get one day off, like just practice Monday instead of Tuesday or something.
SPEAKER_02:Like, I mean, I could be wrong, but like I feel like he could make it happen. I'm sure they had a bye week. Like, especially because she was like at the top, you know. Totally. So yeah. And then she did say, she put in a TikTok after. And I think I thought of you actually when I was reading this. I feel like you will appreciate this. So she had said after the show, and I think it was before they announced the breakup, but just when she was kind of debriefing on the finale, she posts, you know, she does a lot of like on get ready with me, and then she just talks to the camera. She said, quote, there was just a lot that happened in my personal life throughout the season that I'm happy I think that I didn't share for television, which I thought about at times, but I didn't want to just say things for the sake of making a really entertaining package and putting these stories in other people's hands. So I'm proud of myself for that. Oh, wow. Good for her. I honestly find that because I think it's very easy to say she's going through a breakup or something.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. To like try to get votes and like try to make people like feel emotional. Yeah. Like, and I hate that. I hate when they try to like make you feel bad to vote for them or something. Like use some stop story.
SPEAKER_02:And honestly, the thing is, if she did say that she was going through a breakup, I would, I would have felt bad for her. Like, I mean, imagine doing that show. It's so intense while also dealing with that. Yeah. But I think because she didn't, it just made me almost yeah, appreciate her more where she was just trying to get the votes based on her personality and her merit as a dancer.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, not like, you know, like Sheena would have been blasted as shit everywhere.
SPEAKER_02:Oh, Sheena Shea. I mean, definitely. Come on. A thousand percent. But so I definitely think that they were on the rocks throughout, given that post. Don't you?
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, I mean, probably. It makes sense. Like I feel like the fact that he didn't go, so that's a lot.
SPEAKER_02:I did also hear that a big reason for the breakup, given that it was a mutual breakup, was that she wants to stay in LA instead of Houston. And I think before that they both were in Miami because he played for the Dolphins and she was just living there.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, she lived in the same building as my cousin Davis.
SPEAKER_02:It's of course.
SPEAKER_00:Of course, I know. Davis. Davis is he has like the good-looking card that just everything works out. Yeah, no, true.
SPEAKER_02:That's a real like pretty people privilege is so real. Oh, totally. So real. Yeah. And Davis definitely has that in spades. I feel like he honestly has since two, and like since he's been like little like always.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. Like he's like, I'm like, oh, where he Davis is, oh, he's in a he's doing Christmas in Italy, or like he's in Hawaii dog sitting. Like he had like some sick job where like every week, weekend they would go to the Hamptons and like the company paid for it. Like, sure. Who else does that? No, truly.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah. But I can't remember. Oh, yes, I guarantee Alex Earl. Yeah. Yes. So yeah. So the Miami, like, I think that they were in the same places, and now it seems like he obviously isn't going to be in LA and she wants to stay in LA. So it might just be, you know, a mutual decision to go separate ways.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, seems like it. I also didn't realize she's like just turning 25. She seems older. She I I like love her. Yeah, I like her too. I just I don't I think it's like all the makeup and stuff.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, I think also just because she's had success for a while, and I think she handles herself as a very mature person. Yeah, that's a good point. She does like act mature. Totally. And the reason that this is making headlines now, like the actual headline that got our attention to talk about this, is that it says Alex Earl admits she's really going through it days after public split from boyfriend Braxton Berrios. All it was was that she posted a TikTok and it was her like filming herself with text over it. I don't think she even talked in it. But the text says, Is my frontal lobe developing? Because I'm about to turn 25. And usually I stress about having the biggest party, but all I want to do is work out, meditate, play card games, and have good combos with the people closest to me. Either I'm maturing or I'm really going through it. Maybe both.
SPEAKER_00:I mean, that's a real thing. Yes, it is. You do like all of a sudden your priorities start to shift. It's very strange. Yes.
SPEAKER_02:I do think that didn't happen for me until maybe COVID times, truly. Cause I feel like we were all still city living. Yeah. I think 25 is young.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, no, 25 is young. But I feel like when I was in like my late 20s, like I didn't want to wait in line at a bar anymore.
SPEAKER_02:True.
SPEAKER_00:True. You know, like stuff like that. I didn't want to go out like past midnight or 1 a.m.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah. All the time, you know. Yeah, that's such a good point. I feel like everyone can relate to that. Yeah. And especially if her star is so on the rise, like I feel like her shot, her path to superstardom has been such just like a steep upward climb. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00:If I were her, I'd be like, I've got to like buckle up and focus and take I know. I feel like dance with the stars too, like throttled her into even more fame. I I hope something good comes of it for her. Like I could see her being in a movie or something. Totally.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, same. I know. I wonder what she is gonna do next. I feel like she she probably are she's breaking it in for sure already, but I could see a lot of brand deals. I feel like she was so popular on TikTok, but if you didn't, if you're not on TikTok, you didn't know her. Like you might have heard the name. Yeah. But I definitely think Dancing with the Stars, because you see them every single week, yeah, opened her up to a whole new audience. Who do we think that Alex Earl would be good with? Hmm. Like I feel like she's not, I don't want her, I can't see her with like a Robert Irwin. Like he's almost too no, no, no, no, like pure.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. I feel like football player is kind of does seem like to kind of fit for her. I mean, someone like very attractive.
SPEAKER_02:Yes, who's a really good-looking football player right now? Who's single? They're all wifed up. They all get married when they're like 24. I know. I mean, I guess I can kind of it's just all of them. They all, I mean, a lot of them are southern.
SPEAKER_00:Oh, how about Joe Barrow?
SPEAKER_02:Oh, that's it. I love that. That's it.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. Joe Barrow's so cute.
SPEAKER_02:No, wait, I would love that. Wait, I that needs to happen. Yeah. Oh my god. That would be I wonder if he has a girlfriend. He does. Olivia Pont Pontin. Well, because it was it was kind of scandalous because he was with a girl. Yeah, another Olivia. So two Olivia's back to back. Yeah. He was with that, was like his college sweetheart, and people didn't no one knew they were broken up. And then all of a sudden his house was broken into, and his new girl was there and answered the 911 call or called 911. So he's not marked down. I mean, I think he's no, he's like now confirmed with this girl.
SPEAKER_00:I know, but like they could break up.
SPEAKER_02:Oh, totally. I mean, yeah, totally. Joe Burrow and Alex Earl get together. I hope they're gonna be. Yeah. Fingers crossed. Fingers crossed. Last but not least, just a quick update on one of our new favorite people. 50 Cent is in the headlines. Have you watched a little bit of the Diddy documentary?
SPEAKER_00:No, I've been on Stranger Things.
SPEAKER_02:No, that's totally fine. I'm but I will say it's so good. Gina's all on it. She's texting me a bunch about it. If you need just like an entertaining little, you know, break in your day, just head over and see what 50's doing because he is posting. He is absolutely loving all this. I just doesn't give a fuck. He is oh my god, I love, I love a petty man. It's it's awesome. Yeah, and he just like owns it. He just owns it, but for good reason. I mean, he's you know, taking down like a terrible dude, or he's trying to, so yeah, it's for the greater good. But exactly he, for those who may have missed it, he helped produce the new docuseries on Netflix, Sean Combs The Reckoning. And the big question, which I had right away when I was watching this, is there's a lot, it opens with a lot of intimate behind-the-scenes footage. It's Combs calling his lawyer, talking very intimately about the trial. It's the week he's getting arrested in 2024. You kind of think in the beginning when you're watching this, you're like, is this produced by Combs? Like, is this him trying to control his narrative? No, it's produced by 50. So the question is, how did they get this footage? So he's been asked about it a little bit in the press. He's keeping very tight-lipped. He said, to be honest, like, I'm not gonna reveal my sources, but we did obtain it legally. There's we absolutely got this footage legally. He won't give the name of the filmmaker, the person who's actually like videoing because he wants to protect them. So that's all he said. But I guess Diddy's team, the day before it was set to be released on Netflix, ordered a cease and desist to Netflix to not put it up. Oh. And said that everything was obtained, everything was obtained illegally. And Netflix came out and defended them and was like, no, this is all totally legal and kosher. So just confirming the fact that Diddy did not know that this was gonna come out and it totally blindsided them.
SPEAKER_00:So basically, like someone who Diddy thought was on his team was filming him, and but they like backstabbed it, gave him to 50 cents.
SPEAKER_02:He hired a videographer, and and that was a big part of the conversation, too, of like, why would he hire someone to be taping him? But they made a good point. That the director, I'm trying to find her name because I okay, Alexandra. Stapleton. So yeah, well, that's the big question, right? Of like, why would he hire someone to do this? And Stapleton, who's like the dire who directed the docuseries, was basically saying, like, I mean, this man had a 10-year run on reality TV. Like, he likes to be in front of the camera, he likes to control, he wants to control his narrative. So I'm sure he was doing this to be able to cut it the way that he wants to, to be able to look have it look favorably. That's a risky game. I know, I know. So whoever filmed him obviously like went behind his back and you know gave it to 50.
SPEAKER_00:Dude, that's karma.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah. So it's just so crazy. Like, I can't wait to get your thoughts on it. And I know, yeah. Everyone, I'm telling you, it's worth it. It's four parts, it's really fascinating. It's I think it just shows a lot about like power and the amount that this man was able to get away with is pretty staggering.
SPEAKER_00:So yeah, I think I can get Chris to watch it just because 50 Cent produced.
SPEAKER_02:Oh, so good. Yeah. And he and in 50 Cent even said he was like, I mean, like he said, I figure most journalists wouldn't disclose their sources. So he said to the the GQ interviewer, you're a journalist, right? You're not gonna reveal your sources, so why would you ask me to reveal mine? Yeah, but he said, look, you know that when you're a part of the culture, that things will come to you faster. But yeah, crazy stuff.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. Damn, I'm excited to watch it. Me too. Go fifty.
SPEAKER_02:Go fifty. But anyway, that's all we have for you today. Thanks everyone for listening in. We hope you have a great weekend.
