Its All-Star weekend!!  Welcome to a special episode of The Mound Visit podcast.  In this episode I'm joined by 3 special guests that I have known for over 30(gulp) years. These guys have forgotten more about baseball than I know and, since Its the 30 year anniversary of the last time the All-Star game was in Philadelphia, I decided to have them pick their top fantasy All-Star team of the past 30 years. They all picked one player from 1996-2026 to complete their lineups. 9 position players and one starting pitcher with a few surprises at the end. I can't tell you how much fun it was watching them work through this (while also talk a bunch of shit to each other). We wanted to get the listeners involved so there will be a link in the description and on social media sites where you can vote who you think has the top line-up. So it's been 30 years since then. And uh 2026, they are hosting the MLB All-Star Game. So I thought it would be a great idea to get my guys together and pick the great, their greatest all-star teams of the past 30 years. Uh, the guy who's on that team has to have been an all-star from 1996 to 2026, even current all-stars, if you want to pick them. So that's what this is. Uh, we're gonna go in some kind of order so they can pick uh who's up first. I am. Orlando's up first. They already know the rules to it. I'll tell you people out there, the only rule that we had was other than that person had to have played between 1996 and 2026, if you pick Joey Otani, he has to be either a pitcher or a hitter. Those are the only rules. Let's get started, fellas. So my right OA, you have the first pick. Oh boy, the pressure. Who is your first pick in the DJS podcast 30-year MLB All-Star draft?

Seven MVPs, 12 silver slugger awards, 14 All-Stars, eight gold gloves, 298 career, 2,900 um hits, 762 home runs. Braun Hayes? And let me tell you this: 688. What is 688? Walks. Intentional walks. Wow. So imagine if he got those ad bats. This guy sounds familiar. I'm gonna give it to you. Barry Bonds. BB! Barry Bonds. AKA. Yeah, he's gonna be playing left field. AKA Balco. Great pick.
