Whether OpenAI is losing its way and even panicking in the face of costs for data centers, authorizations, and overall competition from other models. A mere few weeks ago, Sam Altman categorically stated that the Grok adult content was not something OpenAI would do, and now he clearly spelled out this week that it is something they will do. This leaves us with either what was the plan all along, meaning that there was deceit, or that the plan changed drastically in a mere weeks, which indicates panic and insufficient planning, i.e,. being in reactive mode.
