When to Stop Is Just as Important as When to Push - #21

Day 21. Storms rolled in again, but so did something else: the realisation that I wasn’t well.

Low energy from the day before now made sense. Today was a forced slowdown, sore eyes, brain fog, low resilience, and no capacity to work at full or even half pace!
I stayed warm and hydrated, allowing the day to unfold as it needed to, a recovery window.

I did what I could, but more importantly, I didn’t force what I couldn’t.

This is where high performance often gets misunderstood,
It’s not always about pushing.
Sometimes, the most strategic move is knowing when to stop and giving your body space to come back stronger.

Discipline is just as much about pause as it is about pace.
