When the Day Tries to Break You — Rise Anyway -#27

Day 27 didn’t ease in gently, it came in swinging.

– 4AM start: admin and training locked in before daylight
 – Quad stuck in gear against a ridge,  20 minutes of wrestling before one last push got it free
 – Found a ewe dead, no signs, no warning. Just loss.
 – Then… dog vomits on the quad. The smell? Burnt into memory (literally)!

Any one of those could’ve derailed the day ~ but they didn’t.

– Two horses worked for fitness (one with a lost shoe, sorted fast thanks to my responsive farrier)
 – Tractor driving lesson, a new skill, and a good one
 – Major fencing issue diagnosed and fixed
 – Finished with a brilliant treatment session for kids’ ponies — small horses, big hearts, total joy

Not every day is smooth.
But pressure doesn’t have to crack you.
Sometimes it sharpens you.
