Steph and the Sleepytime Crew
Storytime with Steph and the Sleepytime Crew is a playful, soothing podcast filled with funny, heartwarming bedtime stories designed to help kids relax, unwind, and drift off feeling safe, seen, and deeply loved.
Each episode invites little listeners into a cozy world of big feelings, silly characters, and gentle life lessons — where farts are funny, worries are normal, and every part of them is welcome.
Created by Steph — a mum, an energy therapist, and former overthinking kid herself — this podcast is more than just a wind-down tool. It’s a nightly reminder that you don’t have to be perfect to be loved.
Whether your child is sensitive, spirited, anxious, neurodivergent, or just really tired — these stories are here to help them feel calm in their body, proud of who they are, and confident that there’s nothing wrong with being a little different.
Featuring regular visits from the Sleepytime Crew (like Koda the Koala, Coops the Capybara and Ziggy the Zebra), each story blends gentle mindfulness cues, emotional support, and a big dose of giggles — perfect for ages 4 to 10 (and secretly their grown-ups, too).
At the heart of every episode is this message:
You are safe. You are seen. And you are loved — just as you are.
Now let’s tuck in, take a deep breath… and join the crew.

Nimbus Noah vs The Nasty Narrator
In tonight’s story, we meet Noah the Nimbus Dragon—a super clever, deep-feeling cloud-dweller who notices everything. But sometimes, Noah hears a not-so-nice voice in his head that tells him he’s not good enough. This voice, known as Noel the Nasty Narrator, has a lot to say… and none of it is kind.
With help from a wise old friend (yes, Una the Unicorn makes a return!), Noah learns that just because you think something, doesn’t mean it’s true. Especially if it’s coming from a soggy-suited Thought Gremlin with a bad attitude.
This gentle, funny, and empowering episode helps kids recognise self-critical thoughts, name them, reframe them, and take back control of their inner voice. A perfect listen for sensitive kids who feel deeply and think a lot.
-----------------------------------------
Hi, I’m Steph — a mum to a sensitive little guy and an energy therapist who works with kids (as well as adults) and I know how important it is that every child feels safe, seen, and loved just as they are. I created Steph and the Sleepytime Crew to help kids wind down with stories that spark giggles, build confidence, and support emotional and social wellbeing — one bedtime at a time.
Thanks for listening and letting me and the Sleepytime Crew be part of your family’s night-time routine!
