In tonight’s story, we meet Isla the Tiger—a clever, focused jungle cub who sees the world a little differently. Isla’s preparing for the Jungle Genius Games with her brilliant crew of friends, each with their own unique brain and way of doing things.

There’s Lizzy the Ladybug, who bounces from thought to thought with hyperactive, sparkly energy… Ziggy the Zebra, who struggles with reading but creates wild jungle songs… Koda the anxious but deeply kind Koala… Lenny the gifted and intense Llama… Coops the careful, order-loving Capybara… and Toby the Tree Frog, whose steady neurotypical brain helps him connect with all kinds of minds.

Together, they discover that different doesn’t mean less—and that the best teams are made of brains that shine in their own way.

This story is a joyful, neuro-affirming bedtime adventure that celebrates difference, inclusion, and the quiet magic of being exactly who you are.

Hi, I’m Steph — a mum to a sensitive little guy and an integrative therapist who works with kids to regulate their nervous systems (as well as adults!). I know how important it is that every child feels safe, seen, and loved just as they are. I created Steph and the Sleepytime Crew to help kids wind down with stories that spark giggles, build confidence, and support emotional and social wellbeing — one bedtime at a time.

Thanks for listening and letting me and the Sleepytime Crew be part of your family’s night-time routine!

Thanks so much for joining use for another adventure with Steph and the Storytime Crew.

I'm Steph, an Integrative Therapist based in Perth, Australia, and I specialise in helping sensitive kids understand their big feelings, regulate their nervous systems and discover just how incredible they truly are.

These stories were born from my own journey as a mum. My son needed a fun, gentle way to understand emotions, friendships, confidence, anxiety, resilience, and all the wonderfully messy parts of growing up. So I started creating stories that could spark conversations, build emotional literacy, and help children feel seen, safe and understood.

If these stories have become a special part of your family's bedtime or your child would benefit from some extra support, I'd love to help. I work with children and families both in person and remotely around the globe through nervous system reset sessions and holistic wellbeing support.

You can find out more, book a session, or explore my other resources at whitespacewellbeing.com.au, or come and say hello on Instagram @whitespace_wellbeing_perth.

Until next time, keep being kind, keep being curious, and always remember... you matter, you belong and you are wonderful exactly as you are.
