In this extra-special episode, the Sleepytime Crew discovers something is… off. The calm at Jungle School has gone missing, and everyone’s feeling a little wobbly inside. Ollie the Otter is anxious. Koda the Koala can’t slow his thoughts. Una the Unicorn’s belly won’t stop rumbling with farts. And Oscar the Owl? He’s struggling after a tough game of handball.

Thankfully, Que the Quokka is close by - and she knows just what to do. With warm hugs, sensory tools, and soft words, Que helps each friend feel safe, seen, and settled.

This heartfelt story gently teaches kids how to:

  •  Recognising and understanding big feelings a
  •  Asking for help from a safe adult
  •  Using co-regulation to find their calm

Sprinkled with silliness and snuggly moments, this story is perfect for sensitive kids, busy minds, or anyone who needs help winding down.

Press play, get comfy, and let’s find the calm again - together.

Hi, I’m Steph — a mum to a sensitive little guy and an energy therapist who works with kids to regulate their nervous systems (as well as adults!). I know how important it is that every child feels safe, seen, and loved just as they are. I created Steph and the Sleepytime Crew to help kids wind down with stories that spark giggles, build confidence, and support emotional and social wellbeing — one bedtime at a time.

Thanks for listening and letting me and the Sleepytime Crew be part of your family’s night-time routine!

Thanks so much for joining use for another adventure with Steph and the Storytime Crew.

I'm Steph, an Integrative Therapist based in Perth, Australia, and I specialise in helping sensitive kids understand their big feelings, regulate their nervous systems and discover just how incredible they truly are.

These stories were born from my own journey as a mum. My son needed a fun, gentle way to understand emotions, friendships, confidence, anxiety, resilience, and all the wonderfully messy parts of growing up. So I started creating stories that could spark conversations, build emotional literacy, and help children feel seen, safe and understood.

If these stories have become a special part of your family's bedtime or your child would benefit from some extra support, I'd love to help. I work with children and families both in person and remotely around the globe through nervous system reset sessions and holistic wellbeing support.
