Mind Behind the Curtain

Redefining Purpose: A Physician’s Path to Resilience and Renewal featuring Dr. Susan Hughes

Uncluttered Mind, MD Season 1 Episode 4

Dr. Susan Hughes is a wife, mother of two young adults, a medically retired physician, and a part-time Assistant Clinical Professor. She is also a traumatic brain injury survivor and 3-time international best-selling author. After a successful clinical career and multiple entrepreneurial ventures—including founding a 10,000-square-foot medical practice, a med spa with a surgical center, and a nonprofit—Dr. Hughes shifted her focus to helping women navigate life's major transitions. Her company, Bounce Highest, empowers women to move from burnout and disruption to intentional, impactful living.

Following a serious car accident that forced her to retire from clinical medicine, Dr. Hughes embraced her own reinvention. She became a certified executive business and life coach, speaker, and trainer through the John Maxwell and Robbins-Madanes programs. With her natural strengths as a connector and advocate, she now leads a community of women through mindset work, coaching, and support—especially during moments when "shift happens." She is known for her resilience, authenticity, and unwavering support for her clients' transformation.

Dr. Hughes offers coaching, speaking engagements, and resources for women ready to rewrite their next chapter. You can find her on Facebook or connect directly via email at DrSusan@BounceHighest.com. Learn more or download her free guide, “Shiny Object Syndrome: Get Shift Done,” at www.BounceHighest.com. For a limited time, she’s offering a free 20-minute consultation as part of her collaboration with the Uncluttered Mind community.
