In this episode, I’m sharing something very personal — my deep connection to wildlife and why painting animals, especially big cats, has always felt like coming home.
I didn’t become a wildlife artist by accident.
Even as a child, I was obsessed with lions, tigers, and leopards — I even dreamed of having a lion as a pet! (Spoiler: probably not the best idea.)
What started as fascination has become something sacred. Painting these animals helps me reconnect with parts of myself I didn’t even know I had forgotten.
This isn’t just about technique or subject matter.
It’s about soul connection, memory, and following the pull of something wild and true — even when it doesn’t make sense on paper.
