0:00 – 🎧 INTRO
Hey guys, welcome to the very first episode of Your Mindset, Your Power.
I’m so excited to have you here with me today.
We’re starting strong—with a topic that I get asked about all the time:
“Why am I stuck in a loop of repetitive negative thoughts?”
“Why is it so hard to step out of my comfort zone and actually take action?”
Sound familiar?
Today’s episode is called: “Your Brain Lies to You – Let’s Break Free from Autopilot.”
And let me tell you—this is something we all struggle with.
But here’s the truth:
You’re not broken. You’re not crazy. And you’re definitely not alone.
Your brain is wired this way. But the good news? You can learn to break free.
0:02 – 🧠 HAVE YOU BEEN LIVING ON AUTOPILOT?
Have you ever felt like you’re just… going through the motions?
Like your day is on repeat?
Wake up, work, scroll, sleep…
That’s autopilot.
Up to 95% of your thoughts are repetitive—and most are negative.
That means you’re not thinking new thoughts—you’re reliving the past.
No wonder you feel stuck.
But here’s what I want you to know: It’s not your fault. It’s how your brain is wired.
But you can change it.
0:05 – ✅ STEP ONE: Awareness
The first step is awareness.
Realizing that your own brain—the thing designed to help you—is also what’s keeping you stuck.
It craves the familiar, even when the familiar is painful.
When you become aware of this, you can start asking better questions:
- “What can I learn?”
- “What do I need to let go of?”
Awareness leads to clarity—and clarity leads to power.
0:08 – 💭 WHY DOES BUILDING GOOD HABITS FEEL SO HARD?
Why is it so hard to go to the gym…
But so easy to binge Netflix with cookies?
That’s not laziness.
That’s your brain lying to you—sabotaging your growth to keep you in your comfort zone.
But growth doesn’t live there. Growth begins where comfort ends.
0:10 – 🧠 STEP TWO: CHALLENGE THE NARRATIVE
Your brain has been feeding you stories like:
- “I can’t.”
- “I’m not good enough.”
- “It’s too late.”
- “This is just how I am.”
They’re not true.
These are limiting beliefs—old programming.
Say to your mind: “I see you. But I’m not believing that BS anymore.”
Ask yourself: - “Is this a fact… or a fear?”
- “What’s the truth?”
Now, rewrite the script.
0:14 – 🧗♀️ STEP THREE: TAKE ACTION
You don’t climb a ladder in one leap.
One small step at a time is all it takes.
Ask yourself:
“What’s one thing I can do today to move 1% forward?”
That’s it. One small move creates momentum. And momentum creates change.
0:16 – 🚧 STEP FOUR: EXPECT RESISTANCE
The moment you start making changes, resistance will show up.
Your brain will scream: “Go back to what’s safe!”
This is normal.
Discomfort means you’re growing. Keep going.
Like working out—you’re sore, you want to quit, but when you push through, you feel unstoppable.
0:19 – 🧱 STEP FIVE: EMBRACE CHALLENGES
Challenges, obstacles, even failure—they’re not signs to quit.
They’re part of the process.
Every successful person got there because they didn’t give up when it was hard.
So when life gets tough, ask: “What is this teaching me?”
And keep going.
0:22 – 🚀 STEP SIX: START BEFORE YOU FEEL READY
Confidence doesn’t come first—action does.
You won’t feel ready. You’ll feel nervous.
I wasn’t confident launching this podcast—I was scared.
But I did it anyway.
Because showing up scared is better than not showing up at all.
Stop waiting. Start now.
0:25 – 💖 STEP SEVEN: PRACTICE GRATITUDE
Gratitude is a powerful tool.
It brings you into the present moment and helps you stop living in lack.
Instead of waking up overwhelmed, wake up and say:
“I’m grateful I get another day to try.”
This mindset shift changes everything. It grounds you. It calms you. It gives you perspective.
0:28 – 🔁 RECAP
Let’s recap your 7 steps to break free from autopilot:
- Awareness – Recognize your brain’s patterns.
- Challenge the Narrative – Question the limiting beliefs.
- Take Action – Small daily steps create big change.
- Expect Resistance – Don’t stop when it gets hard.
- Embrace Challenges – They are part of growth.
- Start Before You’re Ready – Do it scared.
- Practice Gratitude – Shift your energy and perspective.
0:30 – 🎯 CLOSING MESSAGE
You’re not here by accident.
You were created with a purpose.
And it’s up to you to live it.
No one can do it for you.
Stop waiting.
Start believing.
Take control of your mind—because your mindset is your power.
And I’m here with you. Let’s walk this path together.
