Alexis Averbuck is a travel writer and painter living in Hydra and Paros. She paints and writes about her adventures – from living in Antarctica for a year, to crossing the Pacific by sailboat – for Lonely Planet, National Geographic UK and other international outlets. When she's not here, she's researching around the world: Iceland, France, Spain, Italy, Bolivia, California and, of course, Greece. Her personal writing and painting explore the harmonies of what we all share in this life
