His son's name.
SPEAKER_01His son's name instead of Christ. No, no, no. Because that whole name said Jesus Christ was in it. It's not in itself. Don't try to say Jesus out there, man. That man got Jesus in his family. Okay, let me ask you this. Who got juniors in their family?
SPEAKER_00Just go back to the obituaries. Who got seniors? We'll tell you how many kids they left.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, go back to the obituaries. Who got seniors and juniors? I'm telling you. He got the apostles. Because my daddy's a junior and his dad had the same name. Right? It was Robert Spencer Jr.
SPEAKER_05His son was born before he became Jesus.
SPEAKER_03He leaves his memories and legacy to his mother.
SPEAKER_04Just trying to tell me.
SPEAKER_01I know about I know about names. Yo. Yeah. Jesus Jr. got a hard life ahead of him. All this time you've been in the presence of Christ and you didn't even know that. I didn't know it was Jesus. You didn't tell us, bro.
SPEAKER_05Yes.
SPEAKER_01You can keep reading it, still gonna say the same thing. You know Jesus. Well, because it would have taken up the whole page.
SPEAKER_03And you know someone had would have had to say it in church. Right. And they didn't want that blasphemy. Somebody would have had to say Jesus Christ grade jokes.
SPEAKER_01They was reading, we wanna honor Cedric. What the fuck? That man rose up out of his own cast and returned. He didn't get there on Easter, did he? Because he's gonna come back. See, and you talk about his name. I knew it. I said you can't be no junior if you ain't got the. How did you know this man blew before you realized since high school? I said, You didn't really know this man. He didn't really know this man. His name wasn't Jesus Christ.
SPEAKER_05I know his mom and dad. His name wasn't Jesus Christ. But his dad's name was Jesus. No. He put that, he put, he added that there. No. He got a brother named Patrick Gray. I mean, me and Pat talk all the time. Well, you better call him.
SPEAKER_03His name was James.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, right. His name was Paul. Yeah, but Patrick is Jackie.
SPEAKER_03What was his brother's name again?
SPEAKER_01Patrick Gray. No, Jackie.
SPEAKER_03That's that person's wife.
SPEAKER_01Is that that man? Oh, I thought that was that that was like their second name.
SPEAKER_03Even that when they got sex changes with a stupid.
SPEAKER_01Why do you think this episode is gonna stay on YouTube? What is blasphemy y'all doing? Hey, blue bottled up. Don't hey don't be mad at other people.
SPEAKER_05Blue band cap with a difficult name, and then y'all went off to the man. I just called it out. I didn't look up the obituary. I just look up the stone. He looked like the wrong thing.
SPEAKER_04That one right there, the top one.
SPEAKER_05That's not what I said, man.
SPEAKER_01Well, I'm just saying blue friend. I said the stone. All I was adding was that if he was Jesus Christ senior, that there had to be a Jesus Christ Jr. That must be a new son he had. And I proved my point. Because Blue said he changed his name in jail. Because we know it was Bookie all this time. Hey, listen. Yeah. He went to jail, stopped being Bookie, it became Jesus. Never called him a whole lot, bro. No do I.
SPEAKER_05But that's it. Mama call him Clay. I'm gonna call him Clay.
SPEAKER_01All this time, Blue been talking about Jesus and ain't no. He was standing right in front of me. Jesus like that. Yeah. When you say you had Jesus on the main line, you could just call him we ain't believe you, blue. Yeah, but you did. But you could. And you got Junior. That's a last year.
SPEAKER_03That's why you keep those church pamphlets in your pocket.
SPEAKER_01Man, that's why you always in a church coat right there. And y'all see this shit. I was there. So Tamar Braxton came out. That's the ugly one, right? That's that well, she's the one that used to be Q. And then alcoholic. But then something messed her face up. She just the whole thing. She looks crazy now. But Tamar Braxton came out and she sells out the same venues as her sister Tony Braxton. Yeah, the miniveries. And I was like, bullshit. So I wanted to bring it up because I needed to get everybody else's opinion on that joke. Because I'm not a dude, but she just uses T Braxton. If you do T Braxton, they don't know if they're getting Tony or Tamar. Okay. Tony on the road with boys and men. So it just takes T Braxton. Some people probably think it's Tony Brax. She's doing all of the best. Like you go to a Jackson concert. If you didn't know Mike was dead, you didn't know Marla was gonna be the one coming out. It just takes M.
SPEAKER_03Jackson. What if it's just a whole concert of like second sons? Like Tony Hurts.
SPEAKER_01You're gonna get a nose. Not Beyonce, you get some words. Yeah. Oh man, that's dirty. That's hilarious. You're not gonna get a shot, you're gonna get a shishu. Or it's gonna be the actual artist's name and then the one that keeps asking for shit. Yeah. She got a sister? Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Like mad man. I think they call it.
SPEAKER_01She her name is Gorilla.
SPEAKER_03I think Bro Rilla.
SPEAKER_01Bro Rilla? That's what they start calling. Get the fuck out of here. No, they did. They start calling her that because she's a big thing. Bro Rilla. She's a bottle for saying basically Glow Rilla don't help her family. Like, man, she got all this bread. And she done. And this is to get everybody. And Glow basically came out with a response, like, I don't owe y'all shit. Like, man, I made this bread on my own. Y'all should get your own shit. But now it's every comic has taken those comics. She looked like uh No wonder they call that nigga broke.
SPEAKER_05POP, hold it down. That's what she looked like. She's handsome. I'm sorry. Yeah.
unknownShe almost looked like the baby.
SPEAKER_05She looked like P.O.P. Hold it down. Mama, I love you. But she went down. I don't know what that is. I don't know what that is.
SPEAKER_01She went at showing.
SPEAKER_05The chick in the police car. Uh-uh. Oh, bruh. Nah, you just yelling out some random shit. Shit, nah, it's funny as hell. That's some of that shit Blue Poly sent you, and you just got to open it up and say, it went viral a couple years ago.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_05Chick in the police car.
SPEAKER_01And she said what?
SPEAKER_05She was in the back of the cop car and they gave her an interview. She was like, hey, I'm not sure. That mother looked like Kevin Gates. I'm legally blind.
SPEAKER_01Bro Rilla looked like Kevin Gates. She went in, but she went at Charlemagne's head because Charlemagne made her the donkey of the day type shit. Oh wow. So she went at Charlemagne hard like Carlamade. Bro Rilla. Y'all see that uh now that we all off into this uh going down the going down the rabbit hole. Yeah, yeah, I ain't that's yo, I'm telling you to do boxing Swaggy P gonna get him in. Boxing. Yeah, Miss Swaggy Psalm. Neither. Hey, the break it from the Lakers. Used to play with the Lakers. Go by Swaggy P dated a Zay Iggy Azalea when she was hot.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, what?
SPEAKER_01I'm not here. Explain.
SPEAKER_05Nah, so he they sitting like like we talking right now, and he's live. Hey man, something about them chicks should be banging, fam. His man's man said that teammate. So they wait, wait, wait. They sitting talking fellowshipping, walling out, doing men's shit.
SPEAKER_01And he ended up going live. And he goes live and then asks him, tell me about the bras you fucking wear. Oh, he did that on purpose.
SPEAKER_05That's when Iggy Zilla first came out.
SPEAKER_01Did he go? Did he proceed to talk?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, he told the story. Yo, son, I had shorty up right here, man. I'm driving the wheel. Come on, man. Yeah. I didn't know that. T I allegedly.
SPEAKER_03Uh-huh. I think I think Nick Young might have been before all of them. He might have been like one of the first. Damn.
SPEAKER_01So the thing about Nick Young, man, is Nick Young came out. He was a high drive pick. He had a lot of lottery. He had a little buzz, played with the Lakers. He's famous for basically stealing a shot from Kobe and winning the game. Okay. In the playoffs, where basically Kobe was going past me the ball. Yeah. Man, Nick Young fired that three and hit that shit. So his chest went out. Now he's a co-host on the game. Not to cut you off, but I just want to say, I appreciate that, Jay Will. For those that don't know, I am after that challenged. When it comes to the and I appreciate it, Jay Will. Just give me a little history right there. I appreciate that, sir. We start talking boxing. This man gonna tell you who got put to sleep. He knows boxing. Yeah, I know body. Basketball, tennis, golf.
SPEAKER_02Crazy because he coached everything but boxing.
SPEAKER_01It's astronomical to me that they chose this man to coach. I see Coach Carter. He watched Coach Carter. I watch Coach Carter. He watched any given Sunday game pay Alpuccino speech.
unknownOn Tuesday.
SPEAKER_01I just be yelling at you. You want me to run the screen? Yeah, yeah, run the screen. You want us to do the boxing one? Yeah.
SPEAKER_03One, five, seven.
SPEAKER_01It works. So you just gotta get your numbers in the bottom of his team to file at least one game just because they gotta do it. I tell you what I do know, I know that bam just dropped 83 points. Yeah, nobody respects it. There's not one NBA fan. No, make sure that you can't. Again, it's bam out of bio. Out of bio. Out of bio. Out of bio.
SPEAKER_04Out of bio.
SPEAKER_05But here's the thing. So you're not gonna put POP holding down up there, man. I'm gonna kick I'm gonna stab you later, bruh.
SPEAKER_03Man, you wanna show you? I mean, I'm gonna be real. I don't think it matters how you got it. If you were respected.
SPEAKER_01But the problem with that is, man, he's not respected in the game to where 83 matters because they went viral asking every player during the interview. It's on the news because you gotta be kind of respected. You asking Kevin Durant after getting, hey, you're a USA teammate scored 83. And his look on his face was like, and it's against the Wizards. You're not gonna get credit. That's like playing Lincoln High School when you in the NBA.
SPEAKER_03I mean, Will Chamberlain dropped 100 points in like the 70s.
SPEAKER_01And again, how did you know he would have been in the same told you about it? They didn't even record it. This man held a sign with 100, and everybody said it happened. Nobody can honestly vouch that it happened. And again, he was the only black player in the gym that day. Now here's the part that they don't talk about with that hundred. He was the only black player. Didn't Michael Jordan have a high scoring game? 63. 63. Oh, okay. Kobe, Kobe would be the one that he was chasing. Okay. But again, it's the Wizards.
SPEAKER_05But Kobe could have got more than that, though. Phil took him out. With the three quarters he got.
SPEAKER_03Who's Kobe playing against? Uh uh Jalen Rose in that?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, Toronto. Toronto.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Trash.
SPEAKER_05Nah, not at that time. Yeah, Jalen Rose was a beast back in the day. Doing that.
SPEAKER_03Jalen Rose ain't never had an NBA team that was dangerous.
SPEAKER_01Well, not with Jalen Rose, but there was a lot of other dudes on that team that Jalen Rose was having. How long you been watching basketball start?
SPEAKER_05Listen, Jalen Rose wasn't doing nothing. How you figure? Google his first few years in the league.
SPEAKER_01Jalen was Indiana Pacers. I just sit back and watch the card. Indiana Pacers, bro. He was a solid point guard. He was a beast. He was actually a point guard in the league that played point guard. Yeah. Pull up his first few years, bro.
SPEAKER_03We don't give the Pacers credit to Jalen Rose.
SPEAKER_01They went to the finals.
SPEAKER_05If Larry Bear would have left him in the game, exactly. Because they couldn't stop him. But we was alive during that time, bro.
SPEAKER_01Reggie Miller.
SPEAKER_03Exactly. Reggie Miller is the reason the Pacers has ever been in the finals.
SPEAKER_01But so was Mark Jackson. So again, Jalen. Rick Smith, the Davis Brothers to do the Howard. Britt Spitz? That was look, they had what was the what was the brother? Not the brothers. They had the same last name. Davis, the Davis Brothers. Yeah. Smash and Smash and Smash. Can't forget about the Davis brothers. Them two boys was big, rebounding, man. Killing it. Basketball nowadays is if he'd have got 83, he hit 75 threes in that game. Everybody would have gave him, but it's bear my barrio playing the Wizards. And I don't get the Wizards right now. If you go who's a losing his team in the league, they ain't won since they changed their name to the Bullets.
SPEAKER_03What was Toronto's record when they when he scored that 81?
SPEAKER_01Well, I swear. I swear I don't talk to young people, man. Yeah, young people. So who's better than Jordan?
SPEAKER_05Jordan Google. Jordan and LeBron. In your opinion. Okay. There you go. That's a smart thing you said right there. But you live in Chicago, too. Dr. J.
SPEAKER_01No way you can say that out loud and really mean it. Dr. J's better.
SPEAKER_05But you gotta remember the league is different, man.
SPEAKER_01I still ain't giving shit.
SPEAKER_05What I grew up on and what you're growing up on is two different things. What no friends hanging out, letting somebody score 40? You had to play offense and defense.
SPEAKER_01And if you can't say that.
SPEAKER_05I'm not gonna not playing no defense. I was trying to explain this.
SPEAKER_01That's why I angled the camera.
SPEAKER_03You also grew up in an era of maybe one player on every team averaging 20 or plus.
SPEAKER_05Okay, so I'm gonna throw something out here at you. You're about to argue with a Google key. Watch this. No, no, no. So I played Juco basketball and I played in the military. I played against CBA.
SPEAKER_01What is Juco? Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_05Navarro College. All right. Right? I had the CBA, which is a step under the NBA. I'm 51, right? It was dudes that would come in that gym and wear everybody's asses out. Couldn't stop them. Couldn't stop them. Dude named Henry James played, some of them had drug problems or whatever. Group of rapists, it sounds like this dude, nah, not rapists. Okay. This dude scored 28. He scored asses like that? How you want to take that? No pause. I'm 51. I'm not saying no freaking pause. But some of them dudes come to the gym and wear everybody out, bro. Cause could nobody stop them. The NBA is the best of the best. Like Will Smith said, the best of the best of the best, sir.
SPEAKER_01It's funny because when you say somebody sorry in the NBA, bro, like you bring them to the Y where you bring these. Man, they are like people don't understand how good Jamal Crawford really is. Yeah. Like I watch Jamal warm up instead of half court and just take shots. And I'm talking, he's switching them like he's shooting a three-pointer. Yeah. And it's half court. And this is just normal for him. That's his warm-up. He he's having a conversation with us and still shooting and it's squk, squ and it's half court.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_01And you look at it and then you think about the average dude can't hit a half-court shot once in his life. Without heaving it, without heaving it, jumping and separating his showing back foot and just flicking his wrist and firing them down range like it's nothing. But you look at like look at the Harlem Low Triers. Nobody knows any of those players that play on the Washington General. So you wouldn't. But these are all dudes who have potential to be NBA players. And they're on that team just so they can play basketball. A lot of dudes will go overseas and be stars in Iran, be stars in Germany, but they can't make it the league because they're not as good as the dudes who are there in the league. And their whole dream is one day they're gonna get called back to lead. That's what everybody is playing for to get to the same thing with US. What have happened to AM1? Man, a lot of that the business went, man. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Nah, but if you think about it, bruh, them dudes still come to the gym and beat the sh out of everybody that's in the gym. But sometimes you gotta look at so you're a sports fan, right? How many times have you watched a team put together a sorry ass squad every year, every year, and they still sell out? It's a money grab. Toronto is a big money market. Nobody gives a damn about basketball, it's money.
SPEAKER_01Which is why when Vince Carter went there, man, people was mad as hell because Vince Carter was supposed to be the heir to Jordan. He was. When he went to a non-televised market, you didn't see him until highlights. This man is out there dunking on everybody, averaging. Man, and yet you didn't see a lot of basketball. He's gonna play a major team. That's the problem. These teams have star players. But again, when you got a player that's a once in a lifetime player, he's gonna make everybody else look average.
SPEAKER_03That's what I just said. Y'all grew up in the era of having one team.
SPEAKER_01We also grew up in the era of Mike Jordan scored 40 points a game. I think we have more ballers. I think we have more ballers back then. If you play the Pistons, them boys would beat the brakes off of you. Like you got fouled, you got hit. Now you can wink at a player and catch a technical. I feel like we have more balls. I think we have more baller squads than y'all have now. I think y'all have, I think y'all have more of the one name players that kill, opposed to where I felt we have more. What they do now is they put three of those one name players on the same switch. But that's the thing, that's what it had to become. The big three was. Prior to that, there was no big three. Like you didn't get the big three was what? Boston. Boston had the first big three. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Larry Bird, Parrish, and Mikhail. But you don't know them though, did they?
SPEAKER_01But in the era of when they started the Big Three, it was Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen. They formed that team just to win a championship, and everybody realized that's the formula that you go with. So then that's why LeBron went to Miami and formed one. If you look at what Kobe had, Kobe was the last of the generation where you had two star players and somebody had to be a role player. Shaq and Kobe. Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen. That was the last of that generation. Prior to that, there was one name on a team, and every team had to have a star. I got one. Shaq and the Miami Heat nigga. Dwayne Wade. Boom. Yeah. His name ain't the Miami Heat nigga, by the way. But I'm glad you got back in the conversation with him, bro. He's here with us. He's here with us. With sports, man, now it's the money grab. You can't like again, as good as Anthony Edwards is, they're gonna have to put two other people around him for him to get a championship. Prior to that, he's always gonna be a star on that team, and they're gonna win games. Because there's just some teams that just don't have that star power.
SPEAKER_03I ain't 83 points in any version of the card.
SPEAKER_01I never said it wasn't impressive. Not saying it's not impressive, but they're not gonna. But the player that Kobe played in, Kobe was a star. His was something that they wanted to see. Bam out of bio got 83. The only way you find out is because they put it on Sports Center. So you watched it.
SPEAKER_05You watch a lot of players. The interviews with Gil Arenas, and you watch those shows, right? When they talk about good players, you ever see them talk about how to get paid, you gotta average your 20? And they would literally learn how to get in the game and get their 20. Who gives a damn if they won or loss? I'm getting my 20. Come out with Anthony. He wanted to have 28 points per game. He didn't give a damn if they lost or won. We'd have a win, and he might have 20, he'd be mad. He gets 28, 30, and we lose, and he like, yeah, I play good.
SPEAKER_01No, man. Here's what's crazy. That's not a bam out of your fair. He's from Gastonia, North Carolina, man. Played high school ball out of there. He's a dude that I support. But again, I don't like the case. He's from what 83, Gastonia, North Carolina. Gastonia? Yeah. I don't respect it. It's just one of those things that, man, that 83 is in a quiet era. Nobody gave a fuck about it. And it's because of who he is as a player in the team he put it against. It wasn't televised. It wasn't somebody wanted to see. And again, when they asked players that they thought they were they were gonna get this combo viral moment, they're gonna talk it up. Everybody blew that shit off to the left. So even I can't get it. Even his old teammate came out and said something, and he had to he had to check him. Man, Dwayne Wade, sit your old ass down. Cause bruh.
SPEAKER_03What does it matter who it is?
SPEAKER_01Again, it's just a lead that don't respect it.
SPEAKER_05No, what we're saying is when we watch basketball, you had to play offense and defense. If Michael scored 40, his man ain't scored over 20.
SPEAKER_01Because he would lock his man up.
SPEAKER_05He was locking his man up.
SPEAKER_01Now if they filed you that many times, and you didn't get 83 because you scored him, you went to the free throw line.
SPEAKER_05He didn't play he didn't play the defense. He just played the passing lane and stole the ball. He didn't never lock nobody up.
SPEAKER_03Exactly.
SPEAKER_05So you but you I'm just saying, he's not my era. Again, no, no, no. Jordan. I said Jordan. Jordan locked people up. Jordan locked up guards. Dr.
SPEAKER_03J was scoring on Jordan.
SPEAKER_05Jordan never he didn't cover.
SPEAKER_01No. No. Most of the time when they played Jordan and guard clouds.
SPEAKER_03Most of the time when they played, the best player wasn't being guarded by Jordan. They was being guarded by Pippins.
SPEAKER_01No, no. Jordan held it. Jordan held Jordan held a good player. Jordan played D. But the reason why it's not respected. What about Earl Manacov? He was playing high. He was doing dope. He was high. He was at right through a name out. He was still at rough spot. Doing dope, though. He wasn't really dope. Heavy dope. But it's the form of the 83 points. Bring back Kitty K. That many times you went to the free throw line. Nobody's guarding you at the free throw line. So if you make them, it does matter, bro. Like you didn't earn 83 points. It's like Olay, bruh. With a bullfighter. You just letting them go to the hole.
SPEAKER_05Are you trying to get it?
SPEAKER_01You got no jumper whatsoever. Does it matter how he got his? Let's ask the people. It's the respect. Does it matter how he got the 83 points?
SPEAKER_05If I'm playing basketball and I'm guarding you, I'm making sure you're not scoring on them. I'm not trying to hurt you, but I'm not gonna make nothing easy on you.
SPEAKER_03So if I win the game with a free throw, it doesn't count.
SPEAKER_01If you win the game with a free throw, that's a different scenario, sir. I'm talking about letting you score. Who's it from? I can't see the screen from over here.
SPEAKER_05It's his first team all defense a lot, but his scoring overshadowed his defense.
SPEAKER_03But he was still never guarding the best player on the other team. That was still pivot. And it was he Jordan wasn't locked down anymore. Maybe one said he was.
SPEAKER_01Locking down 81 is more important than oppressive than Bam's 83 because Bam went to the free throw line. Nobody's in your face, you're not breaking a sweat, you just shoot free throws. All right, Chappelle Chappelle shows Kobe's 81 was back. And most people will tell you, man, to get fouled, they want you to still complete the bucket, right? Bam's not a center. Bam's not a center. He's a hybrid.
SPEAKER_05He's not a center, bro.
SPEAKER_01That man is a point center. He dribbles the ball nine. He shoots three.
SPEAKER_03And you do not want him bringing the ball. Yes, you don't.
SPEAKER_05Bam got handles. But he does. Bam got handles, bro.
SPEAKER_01He said, he said, they say Bam has 40 points off it off of free throws. Off of free throws. That's why it's not respected. Because a free throw, you're standing at the line shooting, and everybody in the league should be able to shoot free throws. Why do you think Shaq caught so much hell for being seven foot and could make a free throw? If you can do all of this other stuff, this is the part of basketball that everybody should be able to do.
SPEAKER_05That's mine. But that ball looked like a grape in his hand.
SPEAKER_0340 points on free throws. That means I was putting the pressure on y'all to or y'all was five. How many people?
SPEAKER_01Or they just didn't play defense on you because they just did this. Or you got a ref that literally just sit there and blew the whistle, which isn't if you played this sport, the last thing you want is the ref was.
SPEAKER_05So remember this. When we watched the NBA and we started hearing about how the ref was making bets in the games and making outcomes different because he felt like it, not calling fouls against Iverson because Iverson cussed at him or kicking Rasheed Wallace out of the game. Now I'm thinking now at my age versus your age, how much did the ref really care about this game? Were they just calling it? Were they just, did they who cared? Was the other team caring to stop this dude?
SPEAKER_03Everything y'all have to do to diminish this man's 83 points. I'm not diminishing. I'm just saying I'm not impressed. All I said did he do. But all I said. But have you heard that though? Has your favorite player ever scored 83 points in a game?
SPEAKER_05They weren't gonna let him.
SPEAKER_01They weren't gonna let him or no. They weren't gonna let him. My favorite player was Charles Bamberg. And that's just that's not us. That's a different game, bro. That's ESPN, that's everybody else. I will say this just off of what I know. Let me drop my basketball knowledge real quick. I know, just because you said your favorite favorite player is Charles Barkley. Bam will never be Charles Barkley.
SPEAKER_03No. He's got more finals appearances already.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but his name ain't gonna ring bells like Charles Barkley. Different era basketball.
SPEAKER_04Kenny got a higher career average.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, he's not. I'm saying he's just overall, every overall career. That's why I hate the argument between LeBron and Jordan.
SPEAKER_05Barkley is what, 23 and 10?
SPEAKER_03Like career, career high.
SPEAKER_05Career points, 23 and 10.
SPEAKER_0383 is now his career high.
SPEAKER_05But that's what back in the day.
SPEAKER_01The coaching was different. I'm just saying he won't be, his name will not ring bells like Barkley's name will ring bells. No, because it's a different era of basketball. Like this era now has the internet. It has more. Shit like that happened. What you call stars isn't what we're gonna call stars, sir. Just because you know their name doesn't make them a star. I don't know if they got these. Like we grew up. Nobody's going to the court and go, ooh, I'm Bam Outtabayo. But they'll say I'm Steph. That's a star. People generate to a star. Bam Outtabayo's never gonna have that. He had 83 points. They're gonna high-five him, but the coldest part about it, half of these leagues. What do you base that off of?
SPEAKER_05The internet.
SPEAKER_03And y'all are not the internet. How many teams? I can name five teams with at least three superstars on it. Can you do that?
SPEAKER_05What's considered a superstar though? That's the question.
SPEAKER_03What do you based on your body? Let's go on me.
SPEAKER_01Let's go. Let me go. Let's go on me since I don't know basketball. Because I feel if I know you, then you're a superstar. I know Steph Curry. I know LeBron James. I know uh uh Kyrie Irvin. I know um what's crazy is because everybody you name is on their way out.
SPEAKER_03They're all the vets in the league now.
SPEAKER_01But that's the era that's that's because the new era of basketball is coming in. Like Anthony Edwards is the new wave of basketball. There's always a changing of the guard. Like when Kobe, Jordan was on his way out. If you put Jordan and Kobe on the floor together, even though they had a couple years where they played each other, it was the transition. Like LeBron is on his way out.
SPEAKER_03Who was the next best player on his team?
SPEAKER_01Depending on what team you're talking about. Yeah, his best. Because remember, Houston, 76. In his prime, Sons, think about it. Kevin Johnson Hall of Fame. That was his second best player. He had the White Boy.
SPEAKER_03The White Boy.
SPEAKER_05He had Porter and Jerome Kersey, my band Cliff Cliff from Buffalo. But see, that's the era of team basketball.
SPEAKER_03Boston, LA, and Chicago had complete teams from top to bottom. Yeah, man. Everybody else in the league had one superstar, a role player, a big. And your big might not even have been good.
SPEAKER_01But you're comparing opposite oranges. That's like, again, I hate the Michael Jordan LeBron era. It's two different eras of basketball. They can't be compared because they didn't play the same style of basketball. The game is the same, basketball. But the style of basketball has changed. Like now, your bigs aren't bigs. Your bigs handle the ball. Yo, for instance, for Denver's a point center. He dribbles, he makes passes, they run it through him. He's their star. But the coldest part, what do you have a point guard for if your center's handling the ball? See, we had position players. We had to play our position to be on the court. If I'm a point guard, I'm not getting in the paint with Blue. He's a center. Now, don't mean I want a Tat Blue to score. I'm a score. It's a basketball. We're gonna do this. That's the reason why you can't compare these two scores together because it's a different era. Kobe's era, you wanted Kobe to get 81. You want to see Kobe score every time he touched the ball. But Bam got 83, and half of his points came from free throws. Nobody's gonna respect you for standing at the free throw line taking it. How many free throws Kobe shot? And again, I get where you're coming from. Somebody had a lot of things. Now you can't get near them without a foul being there.
SPEAKER_03Kobe shot 46 or no.
SPEAKER_01And the crazy part about Kobe's 81 was he at the time that Kobe scored 81, we were saying they let him score 81 because Kobe's on his way out. He's on his way out. Kobe wasn't on his way out. That's what it was. That's how it was perceived. Remember, Kobe had the knee injury that year. He was also mad. And that was right after him coming back and everybody knowing that Kobe's about to be gone. The era was changing. And there's a new guard in the building. Now all of a sudden, everybody wants to see LeBron. Now that means he took 20. 18 for 20. He got 18 points at the free throw line. Where did his other points come from? Everything else. But Bam got 40 points at the free throw line. And like you said, he went seven for 22 for three. Why is your center shooting threes? What does that tell you? That goes to show you that you're playing a bum ass team that, man, nobody's gonna give you respect for. But again, we're not saying that the rappers weren't trash. We're not arguing that. We are talking about the era of basketball, why his points are not respected in the league. You got them from the free throw line. You played the wizards. These are all reasons why he's not gonna get the respect for putting up 83. He could have put up 163 that game. He played with that. Pretty much. If you play Quidditch, he'd that would be scored on a chessboard.
SPEAKER_05It'll be the league is different, man. The carrying different era of basketball. And they all promote individual basketball players, man.
SPEAKER_01Like this is the deepest basketball conversation I have ever met. Back in the day, man, it was team.
SPEAKER_05It was team.
SPEAKER_01That was the whole reason why basketball was a big thing.
SPEAKER_05Because you couldn't win without a team. The Pistons was a team. That's just like a team. Bird the three was a team. Freaking Magic Dem was a team. Nobody started individually winning. You know what I'm saying? So not in the team. The superstars you're gonna do it.
SPEAKER_01He ain't doing it by himself. We all know his rings come with Scottie Pippen. See what I mean? No one would ever score 60 in the last game like Kobe did. And again, different eras of basketball. Like let's just talk about the eras of basketball, man. Like again, there was an era where the team was more respected. A lot of them can score 60 though.
SPEAKER_03That old lady.
SPEAKER_05But Kobe and LeBron's not the same era of basketball either. So okay, who would you compare LeBron to in your years of basketball knowledge? What one player would you compare LeBron James to? His style. His style of play.
SPEAKER_03I like Alan Johnson too. Portland made the finals, or the conference finals, they lost the calling. And then he made it again with what? Uh one? The Rockies?
SPEAKER_05No, they made the playoffs. They lost. They went to the playoffs. They went to playoffs. They were the playoffs. They went to the playoffs. They only had one year because Pippen was trash.
SPEAKER_03Did he go twice with Portland?
SPEAKER_05They ain't never went to the finals with Portland, though.
SPEAKER_01He's in Magic Johnson. I was thinking Magic Johnson.
SPEAKER_05I would put Oscar Robinson.
SPEAKER_01See, that's too little. Oscar Robinson's style of play.
SPEAKER_05Style of play.
SPEAKER_03He's too little.
SPEAKER_05No.
SPEAKER_03He's not taking nobody off the drive. Who's not? He's a pass first player. Who? Oscar Robinson.
SPEAKER_05He averaged a triple double with 30. Did you not you never watch the stats?
SPEAKER_03LeBron is never averaged a triple double.
SPEAKER_05LeBron can't. He can if he wanted to. He could if he wanted to. When you talk about styles of play, I'm talking about LeBron was pass first. I'm not gonna ever say Pippen. I hate Pippen. I think Pippen's a little bitch. All right. And I think that. Tell us how you really watch the Jordan documentary. Nah, it's not the Jordan documentary, bro. So now if you feel some kind of look look at interviews with other players. They said when Pippen got to Houston, how you why you got beef against Scotty, man. They said, because Barkley, my player dog. They said when Pippen got to Houston, he's walking around. Nah. It said he's walking around like he that dude. You did that in Houston, bro. I mean in Chicago. And you can do it by yourself. Just like he got mad when Kuko got the black shot.
SPEAKER_01Oh, show, man, and had this conversation with us.
SPEAKER_05And LeBron ain't gonna take the gang winning shot. And Pippen gets subbed out and let Kuko take the game winning shot. He didn't come back. But Kuko's gonna be a good one.
SPEAKER_01Because he's a hoe because they want to be a good one.
SPEAKER_05Because he's a hoe.
SPEAKER_01Tony Kukoach was the white Jordan. That's what they said.
SPEAKER_05Because he's a hoe. Pippin' a hoe, bruh.
SPEAKER_01I like Pippen, man.
SPEAKER_05And his wife got took by the young boy. Only other dude.
SPEAKER_01Only other dude that had that position. To me, that I will match Kobe against was Michael Jordan. He had a killer. LeBron is Scottie Pippen, man. He can do anything and everything. And he's one of those dudes that will fill in the gap to get the win. My mindset is he'll bake that pass. But in his mind, he don't have a good shot. He'll pass it. Don't pass it. Where Jordan might not have a good shot, and Jordan still takes it. I think he needs to start a new league of everybody 5'6 to 5'9. That's a good league, bro. He would dominate that league. No, he wouldn't. But you might have to learn how to dribble shoot pass. You gotta learn how to play first. I'm starting tomorrow. There's a lot of things you're gonna have to cover.
SPEAKER_05He'd be the best dressed player on the court. He'd be that one dude with all the arm sleeve, everything coordinating it, cable.
SPEAKER_01We the dude at the part to bring the ball but never get to play. I miss that dude. Hey, let's get your ball right now. I will not be that dude. I will pop that mama with nobody gonna play ball. Hey, my mama said I gotta come home right now.
SPEAKER_04This is bring your ball back. And this is what ended the five, six league.
SPEAKER_01Hey, school will be dropping blind bottles all over the court. So who's the best point guard in history? Now that's the question right there that man, what era are we talking about? We talking 80s, 90s, 2000s, where you at? Hold on. Before y'all jump into this, let me jump on to this because let's get off the sports shit just for a second. We're gonna come back to this though, Chappelle Show. We're gonna come back to this real quick. We're gonna spin the block. But I want to get this off. Y'all heard about this lady, the chicken scam lady in Tacoma? Nah. In Tacoma, Washington, it's been this lady. She just got arrested. She be, I don't know, she's been stealing chickens or taking chicken from one grocery store, going to another store, and like complaining, like, like, and getting money for it. It's like she had a whole hustle scam going with chicken, dude. And I had to bring it up because it was interesting to me. I was like, wow, there's like hustle's a hustle, man. Look here. Anyway you can get bread.
SPEAKER_05Tracy Morgan's sister. Oh, a Morgan. Free range chicken.
SPEAKER_01A hustle is a hustle. Pork and bean juice. I ain't gonna lie to you. Yeah. Pork and bean juice. Pork and bean juice. Pork and bean juice. So look, I did a, I do, you know, I do my little TikTok videos, and I did a video where I said, um, there's certain things I can't do, right? Certain things I can't do. Like I can't have partially clothed sex. Right? Like when the movies and you see a dude with a chick and she got her bra on or a t-shirt, I always call bullshit. I don't know any man that don't want the titties to fly free. Right? Titties don't mean that too much. Yeah, but I don't care. You leave a shirt on? Cancel it, fam, if it's quick like that, but we've been mad a long time. When you when you mad, you can get it. I don't care if it's the quick. We gotta get bucket naked. We gotta be bucket naked. Yes, yes, yes. I'm coming from the kid about to wake up and tell me. Yo, let me tell you. True story. I had a jaw, and we and we have a story. We had a car and we have went and mind you, we had both had situations going on. So we literally picked up, went out to these little woods, right, to get it popping. It was snowing, we climbed the little gate. We got bucket naked. I but I was like, yo, look, no, I'm a bucket naked dude. I don't care how fast, how quick, what the stuff is.
SPEAKER_05That's how you go to jail, man.
SPEAKER_01No, no, you that's how you make sure you find the right spot.
SPEAKER_03That's what it is.
SPEAKER_01That's why you can't. That's why he never sports. That's why on the room.
SPEAKER_04I'm not gonna go.
SPEAKER_01Hold up. I'm not going to your house. That's why we go to the house. Yeah, we'll go to a field.
SPEAKER_04Put it from the moment you picked her up, you've been being followed. I can run.
SPEAKER_01Naked. Draws in here.
SPEAKER_04Just like you can't, just like you can't see partially clothed. I don't know. Running naked is uncomfortable.
SPEAKER_01Speaking from an experience, but it wasn't my first choice. I want to go into the store while I had to do it. Yeah, but it wasn't the most comfortable. You think you gotta run a wide legged? You know what I'm saying? That's the technique.
SPEAKER_04I just tie my shit around my waist and go, nigga.
SPEAKER_01I mean the sayers do it with their tails. Look, I'm not a to the ankle guy. I want a fast move.
SPEAKER_05So if you're gonna be at work in 45 minutes and you work 30 minutes from and your girl be like, hey, Pop's gonna be late.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I'll be late. Call in.
SPEAKER_04I'm gonna call in the traffic.
SPEAKER_01So here's the funny thing. So I posted the video, right? So fellow comedian uh Allison Fine says, she chimes in and she says, um, because I said I can't do partially, so she I said, I don't understand women who are partially naked. She said, Well, what about men who wear socks? And I was like, I don't really know dudes that really wear socks having sex. To me, a dude wearing, if you wear socks, so I said a man that wears socks having sex got footage. Real talk, he got his feet is either toe the fuck up. I mean, that's really it. He got halitosis of the feet, something's wrong with his foot gap. But if the floor all slipped and you trying to get your balance, you trying to get your the dick. I mean, I don't know, too.
SPEAKER_05I get more grip barefooted than I do with some seats.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, hospital socks. Yeah, unless you got them joints. But but you but but but but when have you ever had some hospital socks that actually fit? They always get drunk. I buy them. They be droopies, they be droopies to get it.
SPEAKER_03So I told Pops, I said, Oh perfect, I can go socks on tile or four, or I'll go barefoot.
SPEAKER_01I need the grip. I gotta get some topics. I feel socks are slippery all the way around.
SPEAKER_03I just I mean pops threw me off is because he said if he got on socks, he got on Tim's. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Number Tim's. Number Times, butt naked in Tim's. See, that's just if if I'm if I'm if I'm going to part about it, I would think you would be lying if he ain't already gave me his theory on this before. A lot of people know me and Scoop sitting have these same conversations, just brands.
SPEAKER_03I suppose that is because that means you had to take the Tim's off.
SPEAKER_05And then put them back.
SPEAKER_01And put them back on.
SPEAKER_05And then put the Tim's back on. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01No, no, no, hold up. First of all, I'm I'm like Nigga, unless you wear the two cut. I got the tea suit. We got the breakaway clothes.
SPEAKER_04We got the breakaway Timbs, man. I got the breakaway some drums and everything.
SPEAKER_01The most started. He got a whip, he got a come out song. If I'm standing there butting and getting some socks, I'm putting my Timbs back on. I'm not just sliding around and make that a calendar.
SPEAKER_03Every month coming in different Tim.
SPEAKER_01I told me holding the pumpkin. You better know the Tim Divinion. Okay, here we go. We all men in the room. How many of y'all wear socks? I don't always got socks.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_01You probably got ugly feet though, X. X looked like he got slave feet. I'm just a sock. Yeah, see, that makes sense. Yeah, X makes sense. Like, like stop cars barefoot.
SPEAKER_02I feel like it depends on what we're doing. Is we making love? Is we fucking like if I'm getting intimate, I'm I'm kissing on your spine and shit like that. I'm all the way to you. But I'm just in the NASA time, I'm just trying to get it.
SPEAKER_05I am not taking off all my clothes, man. Nessa time.
SPEAKER_04I'm literally blue, blue. Do you be standing there holding yourself?
SPEAKER_05I'm married now, so in my younger days, man, you at somebody's house, bro.
SPEAKER_04I can see the only thing he's not taking off is that blade. He gotta put it back on.
SPEAKER_01See? See, see? This is why I need new friends. I keep telling people, man. I gotta find another group of people to hang out with. Cause y'all are disturbed. I'm trying to tell you, I can see blue with the pen and everything. Look, they better give a give him a business card.
SPEAKER_05Better keep the waistline check, man.
SPEAKER_01I'm about to chin and suspend this myself. Yeah, I couldn't when she said that shit, because I was like, I don't really know cats that rock with socks. Like, like maybe I thought maybe that's more of a younger thing. I like nope. Like I said, unless you got toe up feet, that's usually why a man keep his socks. We got time, and this is what we focused on. We naked as the motherfucker. Yeah, I'm just trying to catch this feeling before I run up out the doe. You feel me?
SPEAKER_03Before your husband gets on.
SPEAKER_01Look, for the person tell you they loved you. That's all of y'all wrong. I don't need to be nowhere.
unknownWhat if you fucking in the car?
SPEAKER_01Bucket naked. Bucket naked. How about? Bucket naked. Hey, true story. True story. So I met this joint. This has gotta be around 2000. And uh, so I'm taking the joint home, and we decide to pull over behind the school. We was heading to Parkland. And I pull in. School to school. I didn't think about it at the time. I didn't think. Imagine this is like well girl to run up out of here.
unknownTime to go.
SPEAKER_01Time to go again. Everybody gonna step around in the middle.
SPEAKER_04Everybody say it. It was in the middle of the night.
SPEAKER_01I don't like it was a like at the time I just thought it was a a building, right? I wasn't looking to see if it was a school with a. So we get it poppin'. We bucket nigga. And we finished, and we kind of just having a little chill moment, and all of a sudden this big bright light comes up. And I'm like, and the cops are like, oh well, well, hold on, get go ahead, get dressed. All right, and then step on out. So I get out. He's like, uh, hey, Mr. Spencer, how's it going? He knew who you were. Well, I mean, they ran my tabs. He said, I was going. I was like, hey, he was like, uh, You know, we wouldn't even notice you if we didn't see your ass hanging out. No, not your ass, but the ass of the car. But your ass was hanging out. But, you know, we sat back. Them motherfuckers was nice enough to sit back and let me finish. They watched. He was like, let you finish. But he's like, but uh, since you're done, go ahead and get out of here. Yo, I was so happy, dude. They let us pull out. No tickets, no nothing. Let us go. But that's you're supposed to be a lesson.
SPEAKER_05You can't school.
SPEAKER_01No. We should be able to get your case number, sir. You are truly missing the meeting of that story.
SPEAKER_04You are truly missing the meeting of the Lord.
SPEAKER_01Act Lord in public. No, y'all should have a case number, sir. This was in a friendlier time. What's that website on Facebook? Facebook? Yeah. This was the friendlier time where people were less sensitive and fucking that school property was okay. But it was finishing his joint like he only got about a few more strokes. Nowadays they done locked us all up. Everybody be in jail. The car and everything. I'd have been like, yo, I'm gonna leave her right here. Let me go ahead and pull it up. Hey, are you done? Alright, man, I'm gonna get in the backseat of my car real quick. No, no, sorry. He's letting me go. I'm out.
SPEAKER_04You just left the comments just like pop.
SPEAKER_01Put a gun belt off. Oh, number this gun belt off.
SPEAKER_05We're gonna do this the easy way or the hard.
SPEAKER_01I would have been like, hey, so um, um, hey, shorty. I've got a ticket. You gotta get a ticket. We we make one for the team. Yeah. The bad thing about it, the turn on the school. So no, no, sir. She's free to go. It was your ass for something good. You know what I'd do?
unknownShit.
SPEAKER_01We was there just painting each other's toes. Okay. Fuck what you heard, nigga. No, not I. Scooter before. I ain't never gonna ride the backseat of his car. Never.
SPEAKER_05I'm never getting the scooter's car ever. I'm glad he never gave me the ride. I'd have been all sticky.
SPEAKER_01Something straight. Right around the corner. I'm gonna take the zoo. Yeah, yeah. I want to get pregnant with the back of your car.
SPEAKER_05Stick on the show and California scooter driver.
SPEAKER_01I ain't gonna go. I ain't gonna catch just the same age as me. Y'all done been bugging nigga before.
SPEAKER_02Oh nigga, you don't put socks.
SPEAKER_05They believe that your car safe.
SPEAKER_01Well, that's why I drive away.
SPEAKER_05Okay. You can wipe them down.
SPEAKER_01Hold on, hold on. I mean, this is over years, dude. I ain't say it's happened yesterday. Hey, but if a zebra went up out the jungle drop his strikes, do you change to a horse? He still went to the city. No, he becomes a mule. Opportunity just ain't provided itself yet. That's all it is. He's riding a school of carbs. Nah, ain't no big thing. That's what more upscale. We're gonna get a room. Yeah, but if you gotta take a home at some point. Hey. Life is life. And sometimes you just gotta go with what they give you. Yes, sir.
SPEAKER_05If you're riding with Shorty, she's like, hey, school, I'm gonna I'm gonna bless you right now while you're driving. You take all your clothes off.
SPEAKER_01At that moment, it's more of a zip thing. Okay. Okay. It's a lot of 18 wheels to see you school in the few of the wheels. I mean fucking nigga. If I can get there, I get there. You know what I mean? It is what it is. Final words.
SPEAKER_03The amount of scenarios that just put through my head.
SPEAKER_01Here's the thing. You need to get that one on stage, man. I tell you, I've had these conversations playing Dominos. I'm just randomly scooped with like, hey, Jay Will, let me just tell you this. No, don't tell me. You gotta share with your people. You need a ride fam now. Me and you, me and you and my gonna go get something. Hey. Shotgun. Shotgun. I ain't played shotgun in 40 years. I'm gonna sit on the engine. Hey, don't let these motherfuckers fool y'all. Go ahead, I'm good. Anywho. Final words. Yes. Man, first things first, let me address man Chappelle for me. My favorite point guard of all time. For me, best point guard in history is always gonna be Mark Jackson, man. I love that dude, man. What he brought to a game, what he brought to a team, the leadership, his abilities, and Mark Jackson is one of the best point guards of all time.
SPEAKER_05You didn't catch that. Action Jackson. I'm gonna go with Magic, man. That's my favorite time, man. Of all time. Of all time. But what we're doing this week though, man. Nate Jackson's trash talking school to Ms. Newman.
SPEAKER_01I'm coming through, but I ain't I don't think I'm on this with that. But uh you got that status. We got that status we just showed. Yeah, I'm I'm coming through the support Jesus. Yeah, that's shout out Mr. Merle, man, is uh featuring at uh at Ha Tuesdays, man. So all supportive y'all to come through, man. Coming through Miss Merle and doing some new shit, man, stepping out on the stage. I like the Russell West brother, man. He gotta go never get credit though. I I get I recommend I fully get to the high gets a space cadet.
SPEAKER_05A lot of them a lot of them rebounds and stuff, see, we'll get out of the way though. So game change, man.
SPEAKER_01I like Rondo too. See for me my favorite point guard of all time will always be Kenny Anderson. Kenny Anderson, Mr. Chills. I watched that man dribble on the grass. Don't disrespect, don't disrespect Ryan Strickland, though.
SPEAKER_03Rolling O'Tarrus A C L. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Injuries derailed. Yep. Injuries derail.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_01Man, final words. I I know I'm gonna tell you, I'm gonna tell you. I got it. I got I got I got I got a point guard. Who would he? Okay. Don't say Shaquille O'Neal. No. Somebody he know. Hey. Somebody from the 5-6 league. Kyle Kyle Robinson from above the rim. He played on Birdie team and he played Kyle. You see some crazy nasty boots. Just keep it, just keep it above the red. That's one of the two parts, isn't it? Yeah. With Dwayne Water. Kyle Robinson must be the nigga that threw the ball to us. Dwayne Robinson. That's what it is. Will Smith's book man. That's our pick. Dwight or Bow Wow. From like Mike. Like Mike. Yeah. Yeah. That's my favorite.
SPEAKER_03Y'all peeked that scene though, right?
SPEAKER_01And he ducked for what's that?
SPEAKER_03The one that plays for uh uh what's the same number he throws it on catches itself and catches it himself. I never paid attention to that.
SPEAKER_01He never paid attention to the thing. He throws the outlet pass, he throws the outlet pass, and then they cut to the scene where he's catching the pass and he goes on the monster same dude. I never paid attention to that. The corpus smoke. Internet is undefeated, man. I mean that was one of those things that I went down a rabbit hole and they showed it, and I was like, so then I had to go back and watch the movie for myself. Damn sure is, bro. The outlet pass to us. With the double gun and juice.
SPEAKER_05Did y'all see uh the Leonardo DiCaprio basketball movie when he had to wear the church shoes to play basketball? Because his dad went by no basketball. Basketball diaries. He had them church shoes on on the court, he was slipping all the down the corner.
SPEAKER_01Turkey toes. Yeah, turkey toes.
SPEAKER_05Final words, Blue. Final words, man. Listen, be the best you can be. You can't be you, be you. Okay.
SPEAKER_01That was so profound. It was. That was deep. Deep. Gotta be. Off camera, people. Any warrior? Final warriors.
SPEAKER_03We ain't got enough time.
SPEAKER_01And I'ma keep it bucket, nigga. Y'all know what it is. Coffee and condoms. Catch y'all next week, man. Make sure y'all tune in on the 20th.
