The Dominion is closing in, and Tiny Ninja may be carrying exactly what it needs.

After discovering that the Tide Keeper’s crystal contains a fragment of the ancient Convergence, Tiny Ninja begins training with the Stone Keeper. If he is going to continue carrying the powers and lessons of the Sanctuaries, he must learn how to resist something far more dangerous than physical force.

When the Convergence reaches into his mind, it offers him the one thing he has always wanted:

The power to save everyone.

But Tiny Ninja finally understands the cost. Protecting people is not the same as controlling them, and absolute control would make him no different from the Dominion.

With the Dominion advancing on Stone and forces already moving toward the Sky Sanctuary, the heroes are forced to split up. Ashara and the Rebel Commander remain behind temporarily to draw the Dominion onto a false trail, while Tiny Ninja, Akari, and Kairo take an ancient highland passage north.

Before Tiny Ninja leaves, the First Burden gives him one final gift:

A Stone mark.

Not another weapon.

A reminder.

Ember taught him to awaken.

Tide taught him to adapt.

Stone has taught him to stand.

Now the road turns toward the sky.

And something is already moving among the clouds.

Welcome back to Tuningage of the Hidden Lineage. The truth beneath the stone sanctuary has changed everything. The Tidekeeper's Crystal contains a fragment of the ancient Convergence, a power once created by joining Ember, Tide, Stone, Sky, and Garden. The Dominion knows the fragments exist. Worse, the Convergence appears capable of interacting with Dominion machines. And Tiny Ninja may be uniquely vulnerable. He already carries the ember. He carries the fragment of the tide. And if the convergence can use him to reconnect the sanctuaries, then his greatest danger may no longer be an enemy standing in front of him. Before the heroes can answer a desperate transmission from the sky sanctuary, the stone keeper insists Tiny Ninja must learn one final lesson. Not how to strike, not how to endure pain, but how to remain himself when something stronger tries to move him. This is Tiny Ninja the Hidden Lineage, Season 4, Episode 4 Unmovable. Tiny Ninja stood in the center of a circular chamber. No sword and no armor, only the clothes beneath it. The stone keeper stood across from him. Akari, Cairo, Ashara, and the rebel commander watched from the edge. Tiny Ninja looked around. So what's the trial? Stand, the keeper said. Tiny Ninja waited. That's it. Stand, the keeper repeated. Tiny Ninja planted his feet. I am standing. The stone keeper touched the floor. Golden light spread across the chamber. The force hit Tiny Ninja instantly. He flew backward. Akari winced. Tiny Ninja hit the wall and dropped. Ashara folded her arms. Wow, that was impressive. Tiny Ninja looked up. It was impressive. I meant the wall. Haha, funny, Tiny Ninja replied. Tiny Ninja stood. The Stone Keeper waited. Again. The second attempt lasted longer, but barely. Tiny Ninja leaned against the pressure. Ember ignited around him. The Stone Keeper immediately stopped. No. Tiny Ninja frowned. What do you mean no? You used the ember. That's why I have it. You're not learning to overpower the convergence. The keeper approached him. You cannot. Tiny Ninja's expression changed. Then what am I learning? To remain Tiny Ninja when it enters your mind. To be yourself. The keeper placed a small stone crystal in Tiny Ninja's hand. Now close your eyes. Tiny Ninja did. Feel the ember. Heat familiar his feel tide. Tiny Ninja touched the blue crystal hanging near his chest. It's cool. Flowing. But underneath it something else was stirring. Tiny Ninja's breath changed. A whisper entered his thoughts. One. Tiny Ninja opened his eyes. The tide crystal was black. Akari stood forward. Yuraki? The keeper raised his hand. Stay back. The whisper returned. You carry the path. Tiny Ninja clenched his fists. No. Ember. Heat surged through him. Tide. The crystal post. Stone. Golden light beneath his feet answered. Tiny ninja looked at the keeper. It's using stone. No. The keeper remained calm. It's asking you to, the voice returned. Join. Taninja felt something reach toward the mountain. The stone sanctuary suddenly seemed enormous inside his mind. Thousands of lives, every road, every chamber, every vein of golden energy. He could feel all of it, and beneath it the stone fragment. Waiting. Tanininja's eyes widened. I can feel it. The keeper's expression hardened. Do not reach for it. Join. Tiny Ninja's hand began rising. Akari watched. Tiny Ninja? His fingers stretched toward the floor. The stone keeper spoke sharply. Who are you? Tiny Ninja struggled. What? Who are you? Join Tiny Ninja dropped to one knee. Yuray. The keeper shook his head. That's your name. Tiny Ninja gritted his teeth. The black crystal pulsed. One. Who are you? Tiny Ninja closed his eyes. Images flashed through his mind. The amber sanctuary, the tidekeeper and the survivors. Cairo, Ashara and the commander, Nikari. He opened his eyes. I am Tiny Ninja. The black crystal flickered. I protect people. The pressure weakened. I don't own them. Golden light around him steadied. I don't control them. The convergence pushed harder. You can save them all. Tiny Ninja froze. The perfect temptation. No more sacrifice, no more keepers dying, no more sanctuaries falling, no more graves. All he had to do was become strong enough, connected enough, powerful enough. A word entered his mind again. Join them. Tiny Ninja whispered No. Again in his mind. Save them. Tiny Ninja looked at Akari. She didn't speak. She didn't need to. Tiny Ninja stood. No. The black vanished from the tide crystal, and blue returned. The pressure stopped. Tiny Ninja breathed heavily, and the keeper smiled. You stood. Tiny Ninja looked down. I knelt. Yes. The keeper approached, and then you stood. Later, Tiny Ninja replaced his armor. Akari waited beside him. You scared me. I scared myself. You heard it clearly? Tiny Ninja nodded. It offered me exactly what I wanted. Akari understood. Everyone's safe forever. Akari looked at him. And he said no. Tiny Ninja secured his katana. I finally understood the trick. What trick? Tiny Ninja looked at her. If keeping everyone safe requires taking away everyone's freedom. He shook his head. Then I'm just building another dominion. Akuri smiled faintly. Stone suits you. Does that mean I'm stubborn? You were already stubborn. Good. Akari stepped closer. In the conversation we didn't finish. Tunininja remembered. The bridge. If there really is an after, he smiled beneath his mask. You remembered. I said we were finishing it. Tanija looked at her. When this is over, he hesitated. I want to see what we are when we're not surviving. Akari's expression softened. So do I. Tanininja reached for her hand. This time there was no interruption. Akari took it. Then the rebel commander appeared in the doorway. We're ready. Tanininja stared at him. The commander looked between them. What? Akari started laughing. Tanininja shook his head. Nothing. The others gathered around the ancient map. The stone keeper pointed toward a mountain route leading north. The sky sanctuary transmission originated beyond this range. Cairo studied it. How long? Several weeks by the old roads. The commander placed a scanner beside the map. We don't have several weeks. A red cluster appeared. Dominion signals moving north. Mashara looked at the projection. They're heading towards sky. Yes. Tiny Ninja frowned. How much of a lead, Days? The stone keeper pointed toward another road. There is a faster way. Tiny Ninja looked at him. Of course there is. An ancient passage connects stone to a highland gate. Cairo looked surprised. The sanctuary roads still exist? Some. The keeper's expression darkened. They were sealed after the convergence. Tiny Ninja looked toward him. So opening one risks reconnecting the sanctuaries? Yes. Can we use it without doing that? The tide keeper The Keeper looked toward the tide crystal. I believe so. Tiny Ninja sighed. I don't like the word believe in this circumstance. Neither do I. A heavy impact shook the sanctuary. The commander checked his scanner. Dominion. The first burden entered. His damaged hammer rested across one shoulder. They return, he said in a deep voice. Taninja looked at the stone keeper. How many? The first burden answered. Enough of them. Ashara picked up her staff. That's usually my favorite number. The keeper shook his head. You aren't fighting. Tiny Ninja stared at him. What? The Dominion wants the convergence fragment. He looked toward Tiny Ninja, and now they you carry it, and they know you carry it. Cairo understood. So we leave. Tiny Ninja shook his head. And bring them towards Sky? No, said the commander. He enlarged the Dominion signals. We make them think we're going somewhere else. Ashara smiled. Now we're getting somewhere. The plan was simple, which Tiny Ninja had learned usually meant something would go wrong. The commander would transmit a false sanctuary signature through an abandoned eastern tunnel. Ashara and several stone defenders would make the route appear occupied. Kaira would help the keeper open the ancient highland passage. Tiny Ninja and Akari would carry the Rio Tide fragment north. Tiny Ninja looked at Ashara. You're staying? Only temporarily. Kairo looked at her. Ashara noticed. What? It's nothing. Your face says otherwise. Kairo smiled. Just return safely. Ashara's expression softened. You too. Taninja whispered to Akari. Definitely. Akari nodded. Absolutely. Ashara turned. I can hear you. Tanininja sighed. Everyone can hear everything in this mountain. The stone keeper led them to the highland gate. A huge circular doorway stood buried beneath layers of stone. Five sanctuary symbols surrounded it. The keeper placed his hand on stone. Golden light appeared. Tiny Ninja held the tide crystal. Do I use this? Only tide. Not ember? No, not Ember. Tiny Ninja nodded. Blue light flowed from the crystal. Two symbols illuminated stone and tide. The other three remained dark. The keeper exhaled. Good. The door opened. Cold mountain air rushed inside. Beyond it stretched a narrow road through snow covered peaks. Tiny ninjas smiled. We did it. Then the sixth symbol flashed. Black. Only for a second. The keeper's face changed. Tiny ninjas saw it. So did I. Cairo looked toward the doorway. Did the convergence reconnect? The keeper placed his hand against the stone. He waited. No, it didn't. Tiny Ninja relaxed, and the keeper added, but it knows the road is open now. Tiny Ninja's relief vanished. Wonderful. The first burden approached. Tiny Ninja looked up at him. Coming with us? No. Tiny Ninja nodded. Didn't think so. The guardian extended one enormous hand. Inside rested a small piece of golden stone. Tiny Ninja took it. What is this? Stone remembers those who stand, he said. The stone keeper smiled. A stone mark. Tiny Ninja looked at the fragment. What does it do? The first burden answered. Remind you. Tiny Ninja waited. That's it? That is enough. Tiny Ninja smiled. I'm going to miss him. Akuri nodded. I know. The first burden looked toward Akari. Keep him humble. Akuri smiled. With pleasure. Tiny Ninja looked up. Traitor. Ashara joined them before departure. Akmander remained with her. Tiny Ninja looked between them. How long before you follow? Akamander answered. Once the Dominion commits to the false trail, Kairo looked toward Ashara. We'll wait at the island ruins. Don't Kairo frowned. Ashara continued. If we're delayed, just keep moving. Kairo stepped closer. We will see you there. Ashara studied him, then nodded. Yes. Tiny ninja looked away deliberately. Nakari whispered. Subtle. Very stone keeper stood at the gate. Tiny Ninja faced him. Thank you. The keeper nodded. Your training isn't finished. Tiny Ninja smiled. It never is. No. It's not. The keeper looked toward the northern mountains. But you've learned enough to understand the danger. Tiny Ninja touched Ember. Then Tide. Then the stone mark. Three sanctuaries had now touched his journey. The keeper noticed. Do not collect their power. Tiny Ninja looked at him. Carry their lessons. Tiny Ninja nodded. Ember had taught him to awaken. Tide had taught him to adapt. Stone had taught him to stand without controlling. Tiny Ninja looked north. And Sky the keeper smiled faintly. You'll have to survive long enough to ask. Tiny Ninja laughed. Everyone loves saying that. Tiny ninja, Akari, and Cairo step through the highland gate. The doorway began closing. Tiny Ninja looked back. The stone keeper stood beside the first burden. Ashara and the commander prepared to draw the Dominion east. The stone sanctuary remained alive behind them. Not conquered, not destroyed. Alive. Tiny Ninja raised one hand. The first burden raised its hammer. The doorway closed. Cold wind swept across the mountain road. Tiny Ninja pulled his scarf tighter. Akari stood beside him. Cairo looked toward the distant peaks. Far beyond them. Something moved through the clouds. Tiny Ninja narrowed his eyes. What is that? Kairo watched. A shape disappeared into the storm. Too large for a bird, too smooth for an aircraft. Then another followed, and another. Akari looked toward Tiny Ninja. The sky sanctuary? Kairo shook his head. I don't know. Tiny Ninja touched the stone mark, then looked north. Behind them, the mountain had taught him how to stand. Ahead, the sky was already moving, and somewhere beyond the clouds, the Dominion was racing toward the next sanctuary.
