This week's Moment of Truth: Isaiah 41:10 (NIV) — "So do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

Trouble doesn't wait for a good time. Colonel Richard J. Mendelow (Ret) learned that as a young Marine Corps aviator, minutes from leading a four-plane mission, on the anniversary of his best friend's death, when a Marine under his command handed him one more problem to deal with.

Sound familiar? What do you do when it all builds up at once?

Colonel Mendelow's answer is simple: take it to God. Not once in a while — in every conversation, every worry, every hard day. He's the One who already said, "Do not fear, for I am with you."

Are you actually bringing your struggles to Him, or trying to carry them on your own?

None of the pressure changes what God promised: He will strengthen you and hold you up with His own hand.

Hear the rest of Colonel Mendelow's story, and what he did next, in this week's "Moment of Truth."
