Now, slip into your magical fairy clothes, feel your wings gently unfold, and awaken your fairy senses as you learn, imagine, and grow at fairy school. Hello, Alex. It is an absolute honor to have you on the fairy podcast. And you hold a lot of wisdom and wear many hats. You are an animal communicator. You also teach people how to strengthen their intuition, how to connect with their own wisdom and energy fields. And so, do you want to take a moment as we welcome you to share with the children listening a little bit about animal communication, but also the broader work you do too with energy. And maybe for kids listening, they know about energy fields, but maybe not.

SPEAKER_00

Absolutely. And thank you so much for having me. It is an honor to be here. I'm very excited about this. This is obviously my most favorite topic of conversation ever. So uh I have been a professional animal communicator now for about five years, going on six years. And I have actually, this was not something I did until I was an adult. And so for the kids that are listening, you guys are way ahead of your times by listening to these things and getting into these things early. Um, I find that children actually are the best at this type of work. And when we get into it as an adult, we're just oftentimes remembering things we already knew to be true when we were a child. And I remember being a kid and I was obsessed with animals. I sat on my trampoline all the time and I put bird seed in my hand, and I tried so hard to sit as still as possible, hoping they would come eat out of my hand. They didn't.

unknown

It's okay.

SPEAKER_00

Um your heart was there. My heart was there. Um, yeah, my my attempt to be snow white didn't quite come into fruition, but that's okay. It did later. So I appreciate that now. But I always had animals growing up. I used to bring animals home to my parents all the time. So I'm not saying that you guys should do that because we always want to listen to our parents, but um, it was something that was always deep and on my heart. So when I got into this work as an adult, it really felt like I was just remembering things that I already knew when I was a kid and I just temporarily forgot for a little while. So that's what I do now. I mostly do animal communication work. I teach people how to do animal communication work and um more than anything, just how to remember these pieces inside of ourselves that we've always had access to with our imagination and how that is actually the gateway to all of these abilities that we forgot we had.

SPEAKER_01

That is so beautiful. And and maybe then we'll start with the animal communication, which of course is connected with your intuition and your energy fields. And then at the end, I have a couple questions too about that. Um can you share with us a because you have so many amazing, incredible stories of communicating with animals, pets, animals, um it's like all the wildlife. And can you share with us one of your stories?

SPEAKER_00

I actually do have to share that later on in adulthood, I did get a bird to eat out of my hand. Um, this was a few years ago. I forgot about it until right now. So this was years ago, and uh we were actually at a national park and there was a raven on the edge of this uh big tall brick fencing that was, you know, blocking the cliffside. And so I went over and I actually had some food in my hand that was appropriate for him to have, and I just put my hand out and I told him, I said, Hey, I'm safe. Would you like to come eat this? And he did. He came over and he ate it out of my hand, and it was really funny because I then tried to invite him onto my arm. And I said, if you would like, you can come perch up on my arm. And he giggled at me and he said, No, actually, your arm is bare and I would hurt you. And I was like, Yeah, I didn't think about that. Thank you, you can stay there.

SPEAKER_01

So um, like for now, you have now so many. It's like interacting with humans at this point. It's like you don't track all your stories with animals.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it is like having conversations with humans all the time. I don't remember everything, and sometimes, you know, going into a session sort of feels like a dream. And when I come out of the session, it kind of, you know, how you tend to lose the details of the dream as the day goes on, and that's sometimes how it is. Um, but I think another really, really fun story is um I have day-to-day conversations with my animals all day long, and the funniest, goofiest things pop out of that. And yesterday I went to the barn to check on my horses. I have four of them, and they're all boys and they're super goofy. And one of my horses managed to poop inside of his grain bucket, which was hanging on his fence. And I walk up and it's the funniest thing because horse poop just looks really funny in general. But it was like perfectly inside this bucket, and I'm laughing hysterically at how he managed to even do that in the first place. And I open his gate and he goes to sniff his bucket and he looks at me and he says, This isn't supposed to be in there. Get it out. He was, he was upset about it, and I started laughing so hard. I was like, Poe, you did that.

unknown

Right.

SPEAKER_00

Like you did that, and he's like, I know, but it was an accident, and I need you to get it out. I need you to clean it.

SPEAKER_01

And I was like, Okay, it was great, it was cold. Well, it's so special too because you're supporting animals in such an empowering way by being able to communicate with them. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Yep. There are so many fun things that they want and they need. And I always make jokes that if I could turn their toy ideas into actual toys, I would be rich because they just have the best ideas I've ever heard of for games. Um, and oftentimes they request games to play with their kids at home, which is really fun. Um, and yeah, the the toys in the games are my favorite part.

SPEAKER_01

No way, and meaning like their child the animal children or the children in the household?

Raven On The Wall: First Story

SPEAKER_00

The children in the household, yeah. So dogs specifically always have the most fun game ideas to play with their kids. And oftentimes it ranges. So if you're at home and you've got a dog at home, you might be able to test some of these out with your pups. But they love to do things like they've asked for playing agility, like agility courses with their kids at home. Like their kids can teach them agility and take them through a course. Um, I've also had them ask for different games, like you put down three different bowls and you put a treat in one and you mix the bowls around and they have to go figure out which treat it's in. Um, or even like putting the same thing, like treats or toys under boxes in the yard, and there's multiple boxes all over the place. And so, you know, the kids and the dogs go find which boxes have have the treat under there, and they just they just love the kids to be with them when they play games. It's really fun.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my goodness, that's kind of revolutionary. Yeah, and so simple. And so simple. So, kiddos listening, you can well, Alex may teach us a couple steps, but you can, and some of you may already communicate with animals, but you can try these out.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, your animals would love it.

SPEAKER_01

And then what about is what's an example of a toy? I'm so curious.

SPEAKER_00

Good question.

SPEAKER_01

I I mean I've had I was gonna say it's okay too if in the moment you can't think about the specifics.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I've you know, I've had animals actually ask for like self-operating toys, which do exist now, but their specifics about it are always really fun. Like cats, especially will always ask for self-operating toys, you know, like a mouse that runs places, or but and those things exist, but their ideas are like, well, I want it to run up a wall, I want it to go up the stairs, you know. And those things I'm like, okay, that doesn't exist, but that would be really fun. That was real.

SPEAKER_01

Well, and I think, you know, what you're speaking to is animals are so wise. They are. Nature's so wise, and children often know that, but sometimes we forget. It's like they're thinking of things that are really advanced. Yes.

SPEAKER_00

Yes. Yeah, and they're all about being in the moment and spending time and being present with each other and with the family. I think their magic is so beautiful because all of it brings us back into just spending quality time with one another, which is the most powerful medicine that any of us could ever partake in.

SPEAKER_01

That's so sweet. And when you, in terms of communicating with animals, you always share how, because you have a big platform of teaching people how to communicate with animals, with pets and their own hearts too. Do you you always share that there's a lot of different ways? And so for you specifically, do you communicate with do you hear, do you see something, something else?

Daily Chats With Horses

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, so everyone is a little bit different. So for those of you that are wanting to practice this at home, start to pay attention to your body because sometimes an animal can send you pictures in your mind. So let's say, for example, if your dog wants to go outside, you might all of a sudden get an image of them outside and wonder, oh, I wonder if Roscoe wants to go outside. And I would trust that initial sort of random thing that seems to pop in your head because it's actually not random at all, although humans sometimes think that it is. Other ways that it can come through is if you have it simply even a thought, like, oh, I think Roscoe wants to go outside. Like an idea pops in your head out of nowhere. And if it's random and seems to come out of nowhere, it likely actually came from them. Sometimes we just mistake it for our own thoughts and our own ideas. But again, if it's kind of like, oh, I was playing this game and all of a sudden I got this idea about my dog, that idea about your dog probably came from your dog. Other times, sometimes people will feel things in the body. So if you're playing with your dog and you get this really big feeling of excitement, you're probably picking up on that excitement from your dog specifically. So you can trust that that is also them communicating with you. But more than anything, the easiest thing is the love that you feel for your animal. You can bet that they are reflecting and sending that love right back to you. And the fact that you're feeling it is because that connection is a two-way street.

SPEAKER_01

That's so beautiful. And so those are really the like the if you were to start, because some of you may communicate, some of the children you already may communicate with your animal, but if you were just beginning and exploring, those could be some of the ways you begin to practice. Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Yes. I would really pay attention to when it seems to come in out of nowhere and start to pay attention more and more and more to when those things happen. You can also just simply play around with your animal and go talk to them and see what you think they would send back to you. So if you could even just pretend and use your imagination, our imagination is really powerful, and it actually is a big piece to this gateway of communication with them in the first place. So I want you to actually trust what you're getting inside your imagination. So if you were to ask your dog a question, what do you think they would share back with you? And likely it's probably pretty accurate. Especially for kids.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and it's like when you're a kid, you know, I'm just thinking back to when we were little, uh your imagination is so it it's so natural. It's so a part of your being. And so you actually get to value it more or recognize that it's such a treasure. Exactly.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Yeah. So for those of you kids at home, uh cherish and nurture that imagination because otherwise you're gonna be like adults like us where we have to remember our imagination again later.

SPEAKER_01

And and is that connecting in with the work you do uh coaching people to connect with their intuition, their energy fields, is is that play a part in that?

Games And Toys Animals Request

SPEAKER_00

Absolutely. We are inherently born with these intuitive abilities. And as we move through life and we learn how to become adult, we tend to lose sight of those abilities that we once had. And so oftentimes when I'm working with adults, I'm simply taking them back through a process where we're we're remembering what it's like to access these things in our body again and access this piece of imagination, which is actually our connection to you know, the infinite reality of everything that's possible. And in that infinite reality where everything is possible, we can access again these same abilities of things like being able to communicate telepathically with animals or share energy with the earth, or even being able to, you know, communicate with beings of the unseen world, right? Like fairies and those types of things. My cat is that's her favorite pastime, actually, is communicating with beings and dimensions that we can't necessarily see with any longer with the human eye. But she definitely can.

SPEAKER_01

That's so cool.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

And does she share those experiences, experiences with you or she does, and in fact, we have her work with our students all the time. It's part of the process, and about halfway through their program, they're assigned to work with Penelope. This was her idea, by the way. Penelope is my cat. And she wants to come in about halfway through to just kind of shake things up with them and really, really get them working in that imagination space. And the invitation is for them to ask Penelope to share with them what she sees in other dimensions. And she has taken them through themes of things, like, you know, a whole group of people connected in at separate times, but got the same um image or journey of her taking them to a cat planet where she goes into a saloon and she's wearing a cowboy hat and she stands on her back two legs. And we've got five people in totally separate locations connecting in at separate times who got this exact same image. That is amazing. So funny. That is funny.

SPEAKER_01

It's like the joy of the animals.

SPEAKER_00

Like such playfulness. Yes. And she had a great time. She always has a theme. She's taken people to animal circuses before, and she just she takes her job very seriously.

SPEAKER_01

Totally. She's a teacher. Yep. Would you for well, one thing for kids that don't know what intuition is, do you mind just explaining that briefly?

SPEAKER_00

Absolutely. To me, intuition is like the human magic of the world. When we think about magic, we oftentimes think about what we see on TV with wands and, you know, staffs and different things, and people are using tools, but really magic is already inside of us. We don't need a wand, we don't need a broom. Um, these are going to be like magical abilities that we already have inside of our bodies. And it's it can come through as, you know, being able to talk to animals, being able to connect with the earth. Sometimes it's even knowing what your mom's thinking without your mom actually sharing it with you, or walking into a room and you can just feel the emotions of the people in the room, which kids are very sensitive to. Um, it's it's all of these pieces. It's like your body is telling you something before your brain has a chance to say anything about it. And it can come through as sort of even like, you know, we're always taught to trust our gut feeling or something that we just know to be true, but we don't know how we know it. And that would be how your intuition can show up.

SPEAKER_01

That is like the best explanation.

SPEAKER_00

Thank you.

How Intuitive Messages Arrive

SPEAKER_01

I've ever heard. That was so beautiful, and covered so many important key aspects. Um do you suggest what's like the one thing you could practice to begin to either remember your intuition, strengthen it, kind of like that one little step, and then it's like you also teach people then how to deepen it.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, so I love to use this analogy, and the kids here should probably understand it, but if we can think about a care bear, and when we think about the care bears, you know how they have the energy that seems to like bullst, like come out of their heart really big. And I tell my students all the time that when you're going to connect with an animal and when you're wanting to start to activate some of these pieces inside of yourself, I want you to think of yourself like a care bear. Like use your imagination and imagine the love coming from your heart, like a big beam of light and going out to your animal or whoever it is that you're wanting to connect with, even if it's a tree or with your mom or your sibling. Imagine this big care bear beam of light going out. And even though maybe you can't see it with your eyes, or maybe you can, you can start to feel it in your body, but the person or the animal on the other side will absolutely feel it on their end, and that is the first point of connection, is just using your heart and your sense of love and you know, desire to connect on that level with them is the best place to start, and start to notice actually how your animals respond to you when you do that, is really so beautiful.

SPEAKER_01

Using your heart, that's like the the best place to start. Well, Alex, as we wrap up, do you when you think about you as a child, is there something you would have loved to know or have someone tell you that would have helped? Because you've shared too that you were a magical child and you always like you got a broom and you wanted to fly after reading Harry Potter and you had like you were magical. And what what little piece of inf what nugget of information would have been so helpful to hear?

SPEAKER_00

Great question. So I always thought, because of things that I read and things that I watched on TV and movies that I saw, that magic was found in objects. And because every time we watch magical movies, the magic seems to be found in an object, right? Like the broom or the wand or even an orb or you know, something, something magical. And what I wish I could go back and tell my younger self is that actually the magic is really found in the heart in the heart. Like that's that's where your magic is. And you get to trust the magic of your own body and how it is unique to you because every single human on the planet is special and has their own unique set. Of magical skills that are going to be different than anyone else's you're ever going to meet. And you might meet others who share overlaps of similar magical pieces, and you're going to get to know people where you can bond on that level. But at the end of the day, you still have your own very specific, unique, energetic, and magical signature to you. And it is really important for you to start to notice when those things happen in your body and really trust those things in your system and explore them and share them with the world.

SPEAKER_01

That's such a gift. And you know, that reminds me the other day a kid said, Well, he wasn't sure power was was real. And so what you're speaking to is it's like that magic in your heart, that is your power.

Imagination As A Real Tool

SPEAKER_00

Exactly. Yes. We're taught to believe that power resides somewhere else. But what we're remembering is that the power resides in us. And if all of us started to remember how powerful we were inside of ourselves and how powerful our heart was, can you imagine how different the world would be? Yeah. That's ultimately the work that I'm doing.

SPEAKER_01

Which is yeah, like so fulfilling and exciting and one step at a time.

SPEAKER_00

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

Yes. But I, you know, Alex, like you bring such joy and clarity, a kindness to and a humor to your work. And that's I think what makes it so accessible. And you open such a door for so many people because you also are able to explain it in a way that's uh that's really easy to understand.

SPEAKER_00

It should be easy to understand.

unknown

Right.

SPEAKER_01

So actually, you do like as children get older, you could be someone who they were like children listening, you could work with Alex. Absolutely. You could take her classes, you could, she's got so many different offerings. And we can link those below. But that's kind of cool to start thinking about. Do you ever work sometimes with high school kids, middle school, or is it usually a little bit older?

SPEAKER_00

Um, typically kids are around high school age or older, but I am currently working with a few children that are younger, around eight years old. Um, and that has been fun. And someday I I really it's always been a dream of mine to host um summer camps where kids can actually come and we can teach them in real time, in real life, with you know, horses and a few other animals how to connect. So um keep a lookout for that, hopefully someday.

SPEAKER_01

That is a seed that we are planting and excited for. Yes. Well, Alex, thank you so much for sharing all of your wisdom. Thank you. And all that you do with us. And we're so grateful.

SPEAKER_00

Appreciate it. So excited to have been here.
