Title:  Why Nothing You Try Is Working (And It’s Not What You Think)

You’ve tried to change.

You’ve read the books.
 Listened to the podcasts.
 Had the realizations.

And still… nothing moves.

So now you’re left with the quiet, frustrating question:
 “What’s wrong with me?”

In this episode, we explore a different possibility:

👉 What if nothing is working… not because you’re broken…
👉 But because you’ve been trying to change at the wrong level?

This isn’t about doing more.
 This isn’t about pushing harder.

This is about recognizing where real change actually begins—and offering you a simple, grounded step to begin shifting from the inside out.

If this resonates, continue the journey on The Stage Podcast, where we take this even deeper and challenge what you’ve been negotiating with.

There's a moment, and if you've been on this path for a while, you know this moment, where you sit back and think, I've tried everything. Not casually, not halfway, I mean really tried. You've made the plans, you've had the breakthroughs, you've said this time is different, and yet you're still here. Same patterns, same weight, same quiet frustration, and eventually the question starts to turn inward. What's wrong with me? Let me offer you something different, not as an answer, but a shift in perspective. What if nothing is working because you're trying to change something that isn't the actual problem? Most people try to change at the level of behavior, habits, and actions. They say, I need to wake up earlier, I need more discipline, I need to stop doing this or start doing that. But underneath all of that, there's something deeper running the entire system. And that is your state, your internal environment. The way you feel before you ever take an action. Because here's the truth, most people don't slow down long enough to see. You don't act your way into a new state. You express the state you're already in. So if your internal state is overwhelmed, uncertain, pressured, tired, then every action you take, even the right ones, will feel forced, inconsistent, unsustainable. So it's not that nothing's working, it's that you've been trying to build change on top of a state that can't support it. So today we're not adding another habit, we're not creating a new plan. We're doing something much simpler and much more powerful. The step, pause before the pattern. The next time you're about to do the thing you've been trying to change, or the next time you're about to not do the thing you said you would, pause just for a moment and ask yourself, what state am I in right now? Not what should you do, not what the plan says, just what's actually here. Is it pressure? Is it resistance? Is it exhaustion? Is it doubt? Because the moment you can see the state, you create space between you and the pattern. And that space, that's where change actually begins. Most people skip this. They try to override, force, push through, but you can't sustainably change something that you haven't first become aware of. This isn't about fixing the state, it's about recognizing it. Because awareness is the first real shift. Now, if you're listening to this and something is clicking, there's another layer to this, a deeper one. Because even when you do become aware, there's something else that happens next. Something subtle but powerful. You start negotiating, you start justifying, you start softening the edges of what you know needs to happen. And that's exactly what we're breaking down in today's episode of the Stage Podcast. Where you may be unconsciously keeping yourself stuck, and the one thing you're still avoiding even now. For now, just take the step, pause before the pattern, notice the state, don't fix it, don't judge it, just see it. Because the moment you truly see what's there, you no longer are completely run by it. And that is where your change begins. If you're ready to go deeper, I'll meet you at the Stage Podcast.
