Thank you. Alright, what's up people? What's going on? We're back for another episode of The Feed Watchers this week. And it's been a rough week. Been dealing with some voice issues, but we're going to still keep this thing rolling. I got my co-host with me, Renita. What's going on? How you doing today?
SPEAKER_01Good, good. I'm doing lovely, lovely.
SPEAKER_00Doing alright? Yes. Yeah, having a good week.
SPEAKER_01I am, I am.
SPEAKER_00Alright, good, good, good. Well, we got a special co-host with us today as well. We got Lady A back in this I'm good, I'm good, what's going on good people? So getting on the microphone, shut up I see y'all making them looks, we're not doing that Let's get it all out right now. Let's get it all out right now. I said my throat's cleared up. I'm on the microphone. But I saw this post, by the way, and it said ginger ale is not a soda. And Dionne Warwick, of all people, said that's correct. It's a medicine. Ladies, how y'all feel about that? When you sick, you know, I know a lot of people think about, like, old home remedies and stuff like that. Y'all think of ginger ale as, like, one of those, like, home remedies. like medicine type drinks.
SPEAKER_01I do. That's the first thing I'm going to run to before I pick up anything else. I feel like a ginger ale can cure anything. Especially a hangover. Some
SPEAKER_00cases. What do you think, Renita?
SPEAKER_01I second it. You know, even the doctor tell you that when you're pregnant, you drink a ginger ale you're having like, you
SPEAKER_00know, stomach issues. I didn't even think about that. Doctors do give pregnant women a lot of ginger ale. I'm always wondering why that is. Like, what is it about ginger ale that doctors seem to like for pregnant women?
SPEAKER_01It's the ginger. And then the suds the seltzer I said suds
SPEAKER_00when somebody making up something and they just trying to come up with the clinicals no the ginger seriously like if
SPEAKER_01you look at ginger by itself it's like what's the word now my pronunciation and y'all gonna laugh at me don't say it medicinal medicine you know like
SPEAKER_00medicinal yes there you go
SPEAKER_01yes it's that when you look it up it's gonna tell you that and then you know you add a little seltzer water you know that just it helps
SPEAKER_00so yeah what do you think I mean so for stomach aches I guess that's probably more so what we talking about as far as a medicine for ginger ale
SPEAKER_01even with what you call it like throat issues you know vitamin C yeah because it's
SPEAKER_00vitamin C that's
SPEAKER_01all ginger has vitamin C man read up on it it's an antitoxin and all that yeah so clear that dry throat
SPEAKER_00we don't know nothing about dry throats over here I don't personally the women over here have their thoughts and opinions about dry throats should they be wet should they be dry they should
SPEAKER_01be wet all the time you should never have a dry throat
SPEAKER_00Never. Why? Why
SPEAKER_01would you want to have a dry throat? You're going to walk around coughing, clearing your throat.
SPEAKER_00I personally don't want nothing wet in my throat.
SPEAKER_01I want my
SPEAKER_00throat moist at all times. Yeah, I don't personally. Maybe it's
SPEAKER_01the man thing.
SPEAKER_00No, it's definitely not a man thing. I know some men
SPEAKER_01that want some wet mouths, wet throats, and they want us ladies to wet them up.
SPEAKER_00But that's something different you're talking about. I second that. That's something different she talked
SPEAKER_01about. Well, no, you still don't want to honestly walk around with a dry throat.
SPEAKER_00I mean.
SPEAKER_01I mean, you know, come on now. You want your throat wet. Because if your throat was wet right now, you'd be fine. You wouldn't be coughing and needing tea.
SPEAKER_00Right? I'm just saying. Listen. There's a difference between the way y'all are saying it, like the way it sounds wet. Wet is
SPEAKER_01wet.
SPEAKER_00No, but.
SPEAKER_01It doesn't matter.
SPEAKER_00No, I'm soothing my throat with, you know, the tea
SPEAKER_01okay so you're dressing it up still wet at the end okay so he's soothing his dry throat making it wet with hot tea
SPEAKER_00But hot, no, because that's steam. So it's not wet, it's steam.
SPEAKER_01Okay. So the steam is making your throat not dry, which makes it moist, which is wet, which is, you know,
SPEAKER_00soothing to you. Can we get off of my throat right now? Never mind, Paul.
SPEAKER_01Anyway. Would hydrating sound better for you? Would that suit you better, hydrating your throat?
SPEAKER_00I still don't like the way that sounds either honestly you
SPEAKER_01don't want your throat hydrated
SPEAKER_00no why are we talking about my what
SPEAKER_01because your throat is the issue you started
SPEAKER_00off you said I have a dry throat it's fine now I
SPEAKER_01mean you're doing with hot tea
SPEAKER_00I'm drinking my tea and I'm enjoying my tea okay and my tea is good it's soothing it's helping you know clear up my throat from being dry
SPEAKER_01I'm just saying but okay however you want I'm going to dress it up. It still ends up wet.
SPEAKER_00Okay, if y'all say so. I'll take y'all word for it. All right. Renita, let's get into your first reel of the day. What you got for me?
SPEAKER_01Well, since we on humor, I'm going to just start with this one. I saw this and I laughed. I be so MF pissed when I waste money on mead food.
UNKNOWNWhat?
SPEAKER_00when you got your mouth all ready for that good food that somebody done told you about and you get there and it's trash
SPEAKER_01not even that you know sometimes you can go through drive-thru and it's like that
SPEAKER_00oh yeah where you just thought you was gonna go get you something I was like I got a taste for Zaxby's right now and it's about to be hit
SPEAKER_01and what was funny to me is how they're like referencing like it's weed like meat that's
SPEAKER_00how you be feeling at the time like hey I'm finna go get high I'm finna go get blazed and then you go get that weed and it's the Worst sack you ever had I hate to have
SPEAKER_01my mouth tuned up For something in it Trash Make you
SPEAKER_00mad Make you just mad Real mad Okay Anyway Because that can go somewhere And I'm going to leave that alone We're going to stay on the food But yeah
SPEAKER_01What is your mouth? I use my mouth to eat the food And if I was craving it And I get it And it's trash But
SPEAKER_00you said I don't like to have my mouth Tuned up for anything in it I don't.
SPEAKER_01I don't. I don't like to have my mouth tuned up for anything and it's trash.
SPEAKER_00Okay. I mean,
SPEAKER_01wouldn't you agree?
SPEAKER_00I would hope. Wait a minute. Pause. Don't put me in that. I didn't say that. I didn't say that.
SPEAKER_01When you go somewhere and you got that craving, you know, mouth tuned up for that good meal and you get it and it's trash, doesn't that make you upset? Very upset. Benji Dollar upset.
SPEAKER_00Benji Dollar. Please.
UNKNOWNOh, God.
SPEAKER_00Definitely. Hey, y'all see he got corrected, right? But
SPEAKER_01no, no, no, no. They did not address them feathers, hairs on that chicken.
SPEAKER_00Hey, once again, that dude broke his whole entire video down. So, yeah, he might want to chill messing with certain people's spots because that man read him correctly all the way through.
SPEAKER_01Which restaurant was this one?
SPEAKER_00Someplace over in Dillon, I believe it was. I asked him. Good wings. Mullins or Dillon somewhere over
SPEAKER_01there. First of the month. Oh, I got a chicken. I've been seeing everybody post about that. I had some. My mouth was tuned up for some good old chicken and it was really, really good. Did you get like waffles or french toast? I did chicken and waffles. And I had some potatoes on the side with cheese.
SPEAKER_00So that didn't disappoint.
SPEAKER_01That didn't disappoint. My mouth was tuned up for it and I was satisfied. They had some good meat over there. They had good meat.
SPEAKER_00Big meat. Big meat. The chicken was big. No, the chicken wings were big, so they were flavorful. Oh, okay. Well, good big meat over there. All right. Yeah, good. All right. Renita, we go to the story time right now. We're going to jump into one of two stories we got today. So how about you give us our first story of the day, Renita? Come on. We're going to talk about this one a little bit. Give us the first story.
SPEAKER_01Okay. This This woman is delusional and realized she was a stud. This man blew my phone up. He was snapping on me, calling me all types of hoes and bees, saying I was disrespectful. Like, be for real. How insecure do you have to be to feel threatened by another woman? I didn't do anything wrong. We literally just cuddled naked. And that's what us women do sometimes. Tell me why I get back home and this man changed all the locks I got the police on the phone so fast because Georgia laws I'm a resident he can't put me out me and one of my friends
SPEAKER_00So that's the story. And let's see. Let's see. I feel kind of conflicted about this because I feel like... She was wrong. But the only way you could reverse it is to say that if her boyfriend would have been laying in bed in a picture with another woman and sent that picture to his girlfriend, she'd be pretty upset about that. So... I get it's a female friend and everything, and it's supposed to just be a friend, and they on a vacation. They just hanging out. They having a good time. But at the same time, I feel like there's some more context to that story. Maybe it's something between her and that friend more that he done seen somewhere along the way that he's upset about. He wasn't just mad enough to go that far and that extreme with it just off of that one little picture. I don't feel like. What you think, Lady A?
SPEAKER_01I go on female trips all the time I've never cuddled naked with not one of my friends I mean that's definitely crossing a big line I'm not laying in the bed naked cuddling with my girlfriend unless she's my girlfriend yeah I know she definitely was wrong and he had all the reason in the world to be upset that's a different kind of situation. Sounds like there might have been something else going on between the two of them and it came out on the trip. my opinion. I mean,
SPEAKER_00Renita, you feeling comfortable laying in bed naked with one of your friends on a girl's trip?
SPEAKER_01That is not happening. That's not happening. That's just, you know, that is, and I'm not being, what's the word? I'm not firing shots at, you know, homos or nothing like that, but that's gay, you know, and it's fine if that's what you are, but he had all right, and then nowadays stud is a man. It's just, you know. Definitely. Definitely. I don't even come out of this shower and come out naked with my girlfriends there. I stay in the bathroom. Girls do that all the time. I don't. A lot
SPEAKER_00of girls feel comfortable being naked around their female friends.
SPEAKER_01I don't feel it. I'm not comfortable being naked around my friends. And I don't want any naked asses around me.
SPEAKER_00Exactly. Okay, that's different now because I have heard that with females being naked around each other. That's different. I
SPEAKER_01always make sure that I'm paired with the right roommate.
SPEAKER_00Well, in what way?
SPEAKER_01Because I always, I mean, I have different sets of friends so you know which friends are comfortable with coming out of the shower naked and that makes me uncomfortable I don't want to see them so I'm always paired with the right friend who is just as uncomfortable with me seeing her naked and I am seeing her naked so it's just not and I don't want to share beds with anybody I want my own bed
SPEAKER_00so your friends are okay some of your friends are comfortable with being naked around you but you just aren't comfortable with being naked some of my
SPEAKER_01friends are absolutely comfortable just being being naked period but I'm not comfortable with that at all and then the fact even take away the nakedness why would you even want to cuddle with your female friend if you're not getting like I got I'm not cuddling with no another female right right so I mean they took it a lot further they were already naked and so then they had to cuddle that's a lot there that That's a different situation. I mean, but some
SPEAKER_00girls look at that as normal. I mean, you know. There's
SPEAKER_01nothing normal
SPEAKER_00in
SPEAKER_01my world where I want to be cuddled naked. I even have a problem with when I'm in a club and I'm dancing and, you know, everybody's drinking, they're vibing. Don't dry hump me. Not no woman.
SPEAKER_00Girls dance
SPEAKER_01together all the time. And I don't do it to me. So you don't believe in dancing in a club with your friend? No, I never, no. Don't smack me on my boobs. don't get behind me and don't be no leave me alone let me dance and I'm a dancer when I'm drinking I'm extra in the tune and I'm moving and I'm vibing okay because one thing about me I absolutely love music don't haunt me
SPEAKER_00but that's what girls do not all girls most of the ones I be seeing they be in the club together and they be dancing all on each other and they get real suggestive with it sometimes that's nasty so y'all don't agree with that no I don't
SPEAKER_01No, don't dry hump me. I don't even want to be dry humped by a man. So a woman dry humping me and I'm in a club, like just anywhere. And I was watching, there was a video. I don't know the girl's name, but she's the dancing girl that does the trail rise or whatever. And so the other day she was in a club dancing and a guy come up behind her, you know, basically to try to dance up on her. You know, he wanted to dry hump. She ran. From him And I don't blame her Run Don't do that That's nasty
SPEAKER_00But I Like I said To
SPEAKER_01me My
SPEAKER_00opinion I see it differently Because I just see So many women do that So you like
SPEAKER_01seeing Women dry hump Each other
SPEAKER_00I don't mind it It don't bother me I mean That's what your thing is That's what you like to do I ain't gonna knock it Who
SPEAKER_01am I
SPEAKER_00That's your friend You dance on your friend However you choose To dance on your friend
SPEAKER_01I ain't dancing on my friend I don't want my friend Dancing on me You want your friend Dancing on you Renita Absolutely not
SPEAKER_00She was a clubber. I
SPEAKER_01know. I said I used to.
SPEAKER_00And you ain't never been in the club doing that.
SPEAKER_01No, that's a no-no. And then Lady A was saying, you kind of know the sets of friends. You know that you're around. So you know the ones that do that. You get them two drinks and they just through.
SPEAKER_00So you got those friends and they never did that with you?
SPEAKER_01No, because they know. Your friends know who they can do what with.
SPEAKER_00So they don't just get a little bit too drunk and try you just be like ah she might not feel she ain't gonna feel this light little rub
SPEAKER_01no I'm gonna feel the rub I feel all the rubs
SPEAKER_00oh my god
SPEAKER_01don't be rubbing on me
SPEAKER_00no guys I don't think I don't think anybody's gonna in agreement with this young lady that she was in the right at all was sleep laying in the bed naked with a female even though it was a female friend on a trip yeah I don't think you're gonna get anybody to agree with you on that one sweetheart I think you have to just do your best to try to make it up with your man and try to not probably go on trips with these young ladies anymore or
SPEAKER_01invite him into it he might be down
SPEAKER_00clearly he wasn't because he kicked her out the whole house he
SPEAKER_01might change his mind
SPEAKER_00if that was his first thought he would have been you know had some roles that welcome home would have went a lot different
SPEAKER_01not necessarily he could have been thinking well hell she ain't never you know this is what she doing when she go on trips she ain't never in So maybe if she had turned around and invited him into it, maybe it would be a little
SPEAKER_00better. Like I said, if he thought that was a possibility, when she got home, it would have been roses laid all out, the soft candles, the soft music playing, had champagne on ice. Like, hey, baby, so I see you into some things. Let's get it popping. So, you know, obviously he wasn't into that. That wasn't where his mind went.
SPEAKER_01He was jealous. I mean, he might have been. He had every
SPEAKER_00right to be, though.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, definitely. his
SPEAKER_00woman he got some other woman all up on his woman that's he got every right to be jealous there's nothing wrong with that um um yeah so I mean he had every right to be jealous that's no problem but I mean I don't think like I said she's not gonna get anybody to agree that she wasn't completely in the right in the wrong she was a little she was very much in the wrong with that she should probably like I said get better friends and take solo trips um Renita what you got next what's your next um Real you got.
SPEAKER_01Okay, my next one. A healthy relationship will test you more than a toxic one because it won't let you run. It holds up a mirror and says show up, communicate, grow. That's why real love scares people more than chaos ever could. How
SPEAKER_00do you feel about that, lady?
SPEAKER_01I feel like that's true. I was talking to somebody about this yesterday. One of my was saying that she met somebody, seemed to be, you know, real cool, but because of the past, you know, it hinders her. So definitely, I think the happiness and the healthiness and the whole in a good relationship scares folks definitely more than a toxic. Because you're used to the toxic. You're used to the cheating, the lies, the abuse, the disrespect. So when somebody comes along and they show you good, you're You automatically want to run. You do. It just seems like the right thing to do.
SPEAKER_00What you think? How you feel about that right now? Do you feel like it's the right thing to do or feels like the right thing to do to run when you got somebody that's being too good to you in a relationship?
SPEAKER_01Well, yeah, it kind of rubbed me kind of both ways. I agree with Lady A, but then also on my side, I feel like when it's good and then that person screw you, then it becomes toxic. Like as far as they do something. you know because it's like I done dropped my guard I done opened up to this person they done you know now it's toxic because I let everything down I had a wall and I let that wall fall down sometimes they do bust right through the wall that's exactly what happens you know when you build that wall up some people learn you to bust down that wall but What
SPEAKER_00kind of walls are we talking about? Emotional walls. I'm hoping you're talking about emotional walls. I'm talking about
SPEAKER_01emotional
SPEAKER_00walls. I wasn't thinking about emotional
SPEAKER_01walls. Well, that's because your mind's somewhere else, like your throat. Oh, God. Sometimes, even when it seems good, some people learn you purposely to hurt you. Then it definitely becomes toxic. When you start dating somebody and they start asking Well, what happened in your last relationship? What made you do this? Why did y'all split up? And you tell them everything and then they turn around and they do the exact same thing. It's like, well, why did I even tell you what I had going on? So I told you so you could use that against me. and hurt me. So then it definitely becomes more toxic than the good. I
SPEAKER_00mean, I feel like the overall of that is When you're trying to look, when you're looking at it from the perspective of like you said, Renita, you know, you're looking at all these good things and good qualities about a person and it comes off as toxic because they're too good sometimes. You just don't want to get your feelings hurt like y'all said about the actual emotional walls. Like you do build up walls if you're going through bad situations in the past and it's hard to sometimes break that down. It's really hard to let your guard down with people and take people at face value so it can be challenging very challenging to you know not see certain things and just automatically say oh red flag red flag red flag everybody's so big on red flags nowadays everything's a red flag
SPEAKER_01I don't know about red I don't think I try not to look at red flags I try to look at what the person is saying versus what they doing that'll let you know actions speak louder than words on any given day any given day you can tell me you like me you can tell me you want to spend time with me but if you ain't making the effort that's not what you want to do
SPEAKER_00but my actions might not always match my words and that might not be intentional that might be circumstantial that could be a number of different reasons for you know my actions not always matching my words and you have to understand the difference in me intentionally just brushing you off versus life
SPEAKER_01and those types of things.
SPEAKER_00I don't like that planning part either, though. Like, planning dates, to me, just, I don't know. It just takes the romance out of it for a little bit, to me.
SPEAKER_01So you like pop-ups?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I like to just randomly just be like, hey, let's go do this. Let's go do that. Let's go get food. Let's, you know, like, it don't have to be planned all the time. This idea of, you know, just going out and making, like, this schedule for the month. Are we going to have two dates this week? you know that you know scheduling sex shit that yeah that that's a whole other different thing
SPEAKER_01now that's different you can't you definitely can't always schedule anything but sometimes it's nice to let the other person know that you're at least thinking about them by saying hey you know maybe this weekend we can go and grab something to eat even if it doesn't happen it was the thought
SPEAKER_00no but see that's the expectation there. No, because when you say it, then this weekend comes and my homeboy want to go to the football game, but you said you was going to take me out to eat this weekend.
SPEAKER_01But you did say that. You did say that.
SPEAKER_00Okay, but we didn't necessarily set that as stone. We said, okay, we might do that this weekend.
SPEAKER_01So then the homeboy takes president of the woman wanting to go to dinner, so you go to the football game? We can go to dinner
SPEAKER_00anytime.
SPEAKER_01You can go to a football game anytime.
SPEAKER_00No, football All right. So...
SPEAKER_01But can football give you what your woman give you? I don't know. You better drink some of that tea. Get that throat back moist. Hydrated. Hydrated. Hydrated. I'm sorry. I stand corrected. What did he tell us earlier? Soothing. Soothing. Got a little ticky rub on there.
SPEAKER_00Rub on what? Your throat. I will
SPEAKER_01not. What the hell is wrong with y'all? It's your throat. It's your throat. When you go to the
SPEAKER_00doctor... We go to the doctor. The doctor does not rub on my throat.
SPEAKER_01The doctor rubs on my throat?
SPEAKER_00Okay. Y'all got some freaky ass doctors, because I ain't let no doctor rub on my throat. Renita,
SPEAKER_01when you go to the doctor, if you tell the doctor that your throat is hurting and you got some sinus issues, they don't come and do like this and rub on your throat like that, right?
SPEAKER_00Y'all got some freaky ass doctors. Every time
SPEAKER_01I go to the doctor, that's the That's one of the first things that happens when the doctor comes in the room is he rubs
SPEAKER_00on my throat. Remind me not to go to that doctor because he ain't rubbing on my
SPEAKER_01throat. I don't want my throat rubbed. And
SPEAKER_00then they're going to tell you to open your mouth
SPEAKER_01wide and say, ah.
SPEAKER_00Freaky ass doctor once again. You got to
SPEAKER_01stick that stick back in there just in case you got a strip, right?
SPEAKER_00He sticks his stick back
SPEAKER_01there? Yeah, his stick.
SPEAKER_00Oh, he sticks his stick back there. Touch that little thing in the back of your throat.
SPEAKER_01Touch the little thing in the back of your throat.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, he's so nasty.
SPEAKER_01I'm just saying. If you go to the doctor, he going to rub on your
SPEAKER_00throat. Not my doctor. No, sir. How does he
SPEAKER_01look at it and assess it to see what's going on?
SPEAKER_00He can look in there. He ain't got to touch on me.
SPEAKER_01You've never had the stick stuck down your throat?
SPEAKER_00No. Oh, wow.
SPEAKER_01You're missing out.
SPEAKER_00I'll pass.
SPEAKER_01I'm just saying.
SPEAKER_00Renita, have you
SPEAKER_01ever had the stick stuck down your throat? Yes.
SPEAKER_00Plenty of times.
SPEAKER_01Every time I go.
SPEAKER_00It's a
SPEAKER_01trap. I'm just saying. I'm telling you. And there be different doctors. Like, if you go to the urgent care. Oh,
SPEAKER_00see, I'll just do that. Random people stick sticks down your throat.
SPEAKER_01Well, I mean, you want to get better.
SPEAKER_00Better at what? Taking sticks
SPEAKER_01to the throat? No, you want to soak your throat to be more soothing or hydrated or wet. And so once they assess what's going on with you, they can give you the meds that make it better, right? And so in order, you know, they'd be like, okay, well, let me feel right here. And then, okay, then they do like that right there, you know?
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_01I'm just saying.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Freaky ass doctors. Okay, man. If it was
SPEAKER_01a lady doctor, would you feel more comfortable? No,
SPEAKER_00she ain't touching my throat. Why do you need to touch my throat?
SPEAKER_01Because they need to feel your glands and stuff. Yeah, feel your glands. It could be swollen.
SPEAKER_00You can look
SPEAKER_01at it
SPEAKER_00and tell. Let me see. You are not a medical professional. No, thank you.
SPEAKER_01So you haven't been to the doctor for your...
SPEAKER_00For my throat?
SPEAKER_01Ever.
SPEAKER_00No, I've been to the doctor before. Yeah, I've been to the doctor.
SPEAKER_01Right. So and he or she has never looked down your throat or rubbed on
SPEAKER_00your throat. Looked down it. Yes. Rubbed on it? No.
SPEAKER_01That's probably what's wrong. You need to go see the doctor.
SPEAKER_00Rub on your throat. I'm good on that. Thank you. Thank you. I will pass on that. Thank you. So now it's time we have another story for us. We got two today y'all. This one I think is a good one. An interesting one. So Renita go ahead and give us a second story today.
SPEAKER_01Alright, alright. Me and one of my co-workers have been kicking it for almost almost a year now everything we've been doing has been in private but he keeps telling me that he's going to leave his wife for me when we first started talking I was involved with someone else he was there for me and my kids but physically I just wasn't attracted to him so I ended things thinking me and this man would be together he told me to give him some time but it's been almost a year now honestly I don't think it's fair that I ended my situation to be with him, and he's still in his. All right, Renita, what you
SPEAKER_00feel? What you think? That's a good one right there. That's juicy.
SPEAKER_01I mean, me personally. I hate you. I got to put, you know, me first. I wouldn't get in a situation like with someone that has a wife or even a girlfriend because I don't want no one that's attached to anyone. And I know a lot of people come for me, oh, well, if he's not married, if he just has a girlfriend, but he's still committed to his girlfriend. So that's still like, you know, that's still major to me. I prefer to know, okay, Johnny is a hoe. Johnny got his slang in the left, right, front, back, and side. But Johnny ain't. Johnny is not obligated to one person. Because, yeah, when Johnny be out there slanging it, that's how they do. I feel more comfortable dealing with, if I was in a situation... someone like that because if he's if a person like this guy he's been deceitful to his wife or if it was his girlfriend so I'd be a fool to believe anything he's saying because he can't even be honest with himself
SPEAKER_00Lady A, what you think? How you feel about that situation?
SPEAKER_01Her first mistake was getting involved with a married man. So, I mean, she basically getting what she asked for. You can't jump in somebody else's life and think that you're going to have what the wife has or he's just going to leave his wife to be with you. Okay, so let's say he does. He does leave his wife and he is with you. So then what makes him faithful to you?
SPEAKER_00I just feel like, sweetheart, you got played. I mean, ain't no two ways about it. You got played. That man got what he wanted out of you. She said she
SPEAKER_01wasn't attracted to the other guy, but he took care of them. I wouldn't be with somebody that I'm not attracted to just because of somebody being able to take care of me, but I'm not going to. I guess go into somebody else's relationship to mess that up just because like that that was insane I think she probably lost the attraction for him because she had that other man in her ear telling her oh you know all of these sweet lies you know what he was gonna do by leaving his wife and making sure she was good and she
SPEAKER_00it's called running game all over you yeah that man wasn't never gonna leave his wife? Definitely. Come on, man. He was doing what he could get while the getting was good. And he was always going right back out of that situation.
SPEAKER_01But even if he left his wife, even if he left his wife, what makes, because some do leave. Some do leave. They do. I've seen situations and they do leave. But what makes you think that he is going to be faithful to you because he was cheating with you. I mean.
SPEAKER_00I mean, it's clear he was going to probably treat you the exact same way he treated his wife. I mean, so the fact that you would still want that after. Is insane. You know, but I mean.
SPEAKER_01Different strokes for different folks, for sure. Definitely.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. I don't know what she was expecting to get out of this situation. Honestly, I really just.
SPEAKER_01Maybe just wanted her throat wet. Yeah. And then the crazy thing, the fact that she knew he was married. Because I've, you know, heard situations where women don't know because men are like you know but the fact that she knew and she still went with it yeah you got a dose of your own medicine absolutely
SPEAKER_00y'all think she she crying for nothing basically
SPEAKER_01yeah yeah she yeah she jumped into a situation she had no business jumping into you know marriage is sacred
SPEAKER_00yeah it should be most of them aren't anymore but sure it
SPEAKER_01should be and so when you jump in that Thank you. that he's going to leave his wife to be with you. That's insane. And you've been waiting a year? Nah, that's even crazy.
SPEAKER_00That man ain't going nowhere. It's clear he's not
SPEAKER_01going nowhere. 16, 20 years from now, she'll still be sitting there waiting
SPEAKER_00for him to leave. 16, 20 years.
SPEAKER_01She'll still be waiting for him to leave his wife. Yeah. And she won't have anybody else.
SPEAKER_00I mean, she
SPEAKER_01might.
SPEAKER_00Maybe
SPEAKER_01she do
SPEAKER_00her thing on the side. She did her thing on the side once.
SPEAKER_01No, she had that boyfriend, right? Yeah. In the beginning. So she let him go. go based off of what she thought that lady husband
SPEAKER_00was going to do. She just went and got a brother with her. we love to tell parts of stories and not tell the whole story different stories to different folks don't assume just because this man didn't leave his wife this woman ain't still having her good time too she might be doing her thing on the low he married what can he really say
SPEAKER_01they be fool they say a lot they say a lot they be upset they cake and eat it too
SPEAKER_00yeah I Like I said. So, yeah. But I think that was a good one. What you got next, Renita? What you got up?
SPEAKER_01Okay. I saw this one. I thought it was funny. Ladies, how old was y'all when you dated your first drug dealer? I've never dated a drug dealer in my entire life. What? Dating a drug dealer? Man, you just asking for trouble. No, I'm going to leave that one alone. I ain't even going to say them YNs because it's the O-Ns too. Yeah, no.
SPEAKER_00You've never dated a drug dealer ever in your life? I've never,
SPEAKER_01ever dated a, never, never,
SPEAKER_00ever, ever. Not even a dude that you didn't know might have been a drug dealer on the
SPEAKER_01low end? Nope, not at all. Not at all. all. Not at all.
SPEAKER_00Renita, never?
SPEAKER_01That's why it was funny to me because I was like...
SPEAKER_00So not all women date drug dealers at some point in their time in their life.
SPEAKER_01No, who wants to get in trouble or be around that kind of crazy lifestyle? There's a lot of women that love that lifestyle. I like my freedom.
SPEAKER_00There's a lot of women that love that lifestyle. And
SPEAKER_01it's already hard enough to keep their attention when they ain't in the streets. You know what I'm saying? So if he's selling drugs, he he out in the streets. Oh, for sure. He
SPEAKER_00in the streets heavy.
SPEAKER_01He in the streets heavy. So, then you got to worry about him selling drugs, him giving away, you know, his body as well. So, it's like, to me, it's a double whammy. And to me, when they're out there doing all of that foolishness, you know, they ain't got no time to come home. They come and go as they please. People come into your house all time of the night. Nah, that ain't the life that I ever want to live. No. And never have
SPEAKER_00I? Usually it's younger girls that get caught up by the flashiness, like the guys with the jewelry, nice cars, clothes, and you know, they get caught up by it, right? They ain't never caught your irony when you was younger.
SPEAKER_01I had a lady tell me when I was younger, and I think this probably stuck with me, that when you see a man with an expensive car, sometimes a bigger house, all he got is debt. That don't mean nothing. That don't mean he has nothing to provide extra for you because he got to pay for that and that's kind of like always been in my head like just because he got it I mean he got to pay for it and if he out here in the streets with it and I mean he got to hustle to pay for that so does that necessarily mean he has the money to hustle and give you as well sometimes not he just has the flashiness I don't want the flashiness I'm I'm simple. Probably too simple sometimes.
SPEAKER_00So that's you. That flashiness don't catch your
SPEAKER_01attention. No, no, no. For me, flashiness, looks, none of that don't catch my attention. It's like you as a person, like your inside, your character, I should say. Who you are as a person. Yeah. Because you can be the finest O-N-Y-N in these streets with the nice jewelry, nice car, big house, and all. But you can be the ugliest zap sucker in the world and not show me an ounce of respect. And then I got to figure life out.
SPEAKER_00All right, well, that's a good take on that. Lady A, we're going to let you give us one of yours that you came up with this week. You brought some with you, so give us one of yours that you came up with this week.
SPEAKER_01Brian at 3 a.m., I can see you're trying to sleep, so I would like to offer you a selection of every memory, unresolved issue, mistake, or thing you should have said or done or in the past 40 years. Definitely me. I'm always up. And probably around 3 o'clock, and my brain is on overload from whatever has happened that day, the previous day, or whatever I got going on, or what has happened in the past, and how, you know, how you think, like, ah, you know, somebody say something to you, and you think, you don't always have a reaction right then, but then if you're you know, when you wake up, you think, damn, I should have said this. This should have been my rebuttal, but you didn't. Kind of like, so then you want to pick up the phone and be like, listen, you MF, you know what I'm saying? This is how I, you know, whatever I'm feeling or whatever, but yeah, that's definitely me at 3 o'clock in the morning. Some mornings.
SPEAKER_00What's your 3 a.m. thoughts? Well,
SPEAKER_01yeah, I mean, if you look at it this way, this is how I look at it. Your brain is kind of like time. They don't stop. Like, even when When you're sleeping, you know, you're in REM, your brain is still working. So if you're up, then of course you're going to have, you know, thoughts. It could be what you're going to do for that day. It could be something that happened earlier. You know, it's just, it's always going. So it's like you have to process it. And then I try to, as I've gotten older, to prioritize, you know, like, okay, I'm going to, let's say I'm up at three and I just can't, you know, get to sleep. I'm going to be thinking about, okay, what am I going to do? you know, and their next few hours or blah, blah, blah. Now, if I'm beefing or going back, and I won't say beefing, that's like a harsh word. If I'm having like a little issue, you know, well, yeah, you know, because most people think beef is negative. So I can say if I'm having like a dispute or anything with like my significant other, even with one of my children, you know, I'm like blah. Basically, like Lady A was saying, I should have or could have said this or make me revisit it. And you know, sometimes my kids will tell me like, Mama, you just be rambling, rambling. I'm like well yeah you know stuff come to me later and I have to bring it back up so yeah because my kids are like I could be sleep dead to the world and they come and they got a question well they've already asked me that question earlier in the day and I might have said no well my daughter's looking for that for the yes so she's gonna get me she's gonna come she gets off work generally like 11 o'clock so 11 32 o'clock she's gonna come and ask that question again and I'm probably gonna say yes if I because I've said no so at three o'clock when I get up you know I'm waking up I'm awoke I'm like damn she came in my room and she asked me that like I wouldn't I didn't used to bother them now I go in and I'll be like hey she's like oh no that's just mean no well it was mean of her to wake me up because I'm the one that got to get up at 5 30 though
SPEAKER_00don't do that
SPEAKER_01to babies and I've gotten her a few times don't do that to me it's hard enough for me to go to sleep someone when I'm asleep I'm asleep so she come and she wake me up and now when I'm up at 3 o'clock in the morning I'm thinking damn did I just tell her she could spend the night with her boyfriend like what was the you know what was this about yeah so now I gotta go wake you up and tell you no
SPEAKER_00definitely please tell me you don't wake your kids up how do they sleep when they good and sleep just to aggravate them cause they wake you up
SPEAKER_01if they done did something see mine ain't gonna wake me up cause they know and my daughter don't care but if they done did something My daughter is notorious for taking naps. This girl would take a nap throughout the day. If she done did something or ain't did something, she would say, oh, get up. I woke her up this morning. It's 10 o'clock. You slept past 6, so that's a blessing. Get up. Do what you're supposed to. You got
SPEAKER_00to. You got to get them chores done. You slept past 6, so that's a blessing. At 10
SPEAKER_01o'clock, my daughter would sleep until 2 I'm telling you. And she'll still, you know, go about her day. And she'll still, you know, go to bed. She's a sleeper.
SPEAKER_00I don't know what she means. That's horrible, man. Oh, my God. Yeah, well, I mean, you know, kids, you can't blame the kids. Kids have funny timing about the things they like to ask. And they know when to ask the questions. They know the right times, in their minds at least, to ask certain questions. And usually it's in the middle of the night. Usually it's at, you know, That time when they think they're going to get that half answer. Like, oh, yeah, he's going to say yeah. She's going to say yeah because she's half out of it right now. She threw bottles of wine in. She good. She's going to give me that yes I want.
SPEAKER_01That's definitely me. You bother me in the middle of the night, I'm going to say yeah.
SPEAKER_00I'm going
SPEAKER_01to say yeah. And that's just what it is because I'm sleepy. And if I've had something to drink, yeah, it's a wrap. But I'm going to wake you back up. I'm going to wake you back
SPEAKER_00up. Stop. That's me. Stop doing that. kids like that. Both of y'all. I need to go change my answer. I needed mine too. Let your daughter get her naps, Renita, and you let them children sleep. I
SPEAKER_01gotta go change the answer. I gotta go change
SPEAKER_00it back. Once you say that yes, you can't take it back. There's no taxi-backsies in this. Alright, Renita, give us our next
SPEAKER_01one. I got three cribs, job paying $50 an hour, several cars, and I own a boat. Anything is possible But when you lie On Facebook
SPEAKER_00How y'all feel about People lying on Facebook

SPEAKER_01friend people They don't know So you can showboat I
SPEAKER_00don't do that I don't do that You don't show up? No. No. If you don't know me, you ain't finna get on my page because I feel like you're just trying to spy on my page. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. What you feel about lying on Facebook for Nina?
SPEAKER_01Man, that is crazy. You got people that lie in person. I know people that lie like that in person.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. I know some professional liars. Yes. I mean, I just feel like getting on social media and doing it is kind of crazy. Like, you know.
SPEAKER_01That's got to be the craziest thing to do. But you'll see people. that say I'll get on Facebook line like we don't know who you are maybe they forgot the people know who they are so they just but it
SPEAKER_00be family what about them when your family get on Facebook and be talking about oh this new car they just got and you be like that ain't even your car though oh I just bought this brand new house look at my nice brand new house I just bought that's your mama house like
SPEAKER_01what is you doing you're on nine days a day a lot of people I won't say everyone cause I'm not and I'm like the vibe I get from y'all I don't think y'all are a lot of people are caught up in like social media and like image you know they wanna if you got something I wanna outdo you if you go here I wanna go you know it's just like competition it's not you know you always want what the next person got listen that ain't ever who I am and you never know what that person like went through or what they're going through to get it or why they haven't
SPEAKER_00that's very
SPEAKER_01true yeah
SPEAKER_00that's very true you can't definitely live off of wanting what you see somebody else have like being you know keeping up with the Joneses as they say and keep up with the Jones your broke ass is sitting in your broke ass house sitting in your broke ass house and be happy that you got a house know me trying to keep up with the Joneses and go and get what they got sometimes you just gotta
SPEAKER_01take the time out
SPEAKER_00yeah that's true
SPEAKER_01too you gotta sit back sometimes you gotta miss stuff I mean sometimes my girlfriends go on trips and sometimes I just can't go and they'll ask are you sure I'm positive I can't go right now I'm going to be that one friend that can't go nowhere I got a senior high school I can't I ain't going to be able to go on all of them trips
SPEAKER_00oh yeah you got to remember responsibilities if you got kids responsibilities
SPEAKER_01you got to take a back seat
SPEAKER_00don't be that irresponsible parent that's putting your kids needs to decide to keep up with the Joneses please don't be that person that's just so it irritates me when you see stuff like that because it's It's just senseless You just gonna put your kids needs Your kids walk around in the same Pair of shoes they done had For the last four years And they falling all apart Got holes all in them But you just was in Jamaica last week
SPEAKER_01Priorities
SPEAKER_00For sure Partying it up Posting it all on Facebook
SPEAKER_01Living the dream
SPEAKER_00Oh yeah Fun times
SPEAKER_01Them baby feet crammed in them damn shoes Poor baby
SPEAKER_00So yeah Prioritize people Prioritize Please, please. All right. Renita, go ahead and give us our last one for the day to close it out.
SPEAKER_01I don't want flowers on Valentine's Day because that's what you're supposed to do. I want flowers on a Tuesday because you thought of me on your way home. Okay, okay. Absolutely. If the only time I can get flowers is on Valentine's Day when they are the most expensive, do not send them to me. I don't even like flowers. don't send me I want something to eat I want something to eat bribe me a bottle of water a cup of coffee don't bring me no flowers I can't do nothing with no flowers I hate flowers I do and I think it's just Valentine's Day it's just so overrated if that's the only time you can show me love miss me miss me with it
SPEAKER_00how you feel about that Renita you feel the same
SPEAKER_01yeah I I don't celebrate Valentine's Day. And then, I mean, I like flowers, but not like roses and stuff. Like, you know, the little ones that you can order and send. I like the ones, you know, you can put in your yard. You know. I don't even want that. But that's not something you would like get me because you thought of me. That's something like we be planning that together. Oh, they got these on sale. We're going to get these. We're going to put them in the yard. Do something to catch me that you know I like or I've been mentioning. A cup of coffee, like water. You know, take me to the new little spot. bottle. They got their flying fish over there. Okay, let's go check it out then. Simple. To me, it's all about sometimes you got to know the person. Learn your person because not everybody wants some $75 roses. I don't. I think that's me personally. I think that is the dumbest thing in the world is to go out one day and spend hundreds of dollars. You know, like you remember tax time used to be real big right before Valentine's Day and the people used to be in the mall without all of those balloons and flowers. So you don't get nothing until then. No, I got to be worth something before Valentine's Day. Gracious. Come on now.
SPEAKER_00So what do y'all think it was that started that trend or made men believe that they had to go out and just do it all up on that one day of the year, this man-made holiday? What started that, do y'all think? Moments. Communities. No, no. To me, it's like monkey. The white man, basically. Monkey see monkey. Monkey see monkey do.
SPEAKER_01I mean, and now everybody want to get proposed. Don't propose to me on Valentine's Day. That's sweet. It's corny. My
SPEAKER_00brother got married on Valentine's Day. Shout out to your brother. Yeah, shout out to my brother, man. He got married on Valentine's Day. I
SPEAKER_01mean, that's a little different. He got married on Valentine's Day. He didn't propose to her on Valentine's Day. No, I don't think
SPEAKER_00so. I don't know what the hell he proposed to the girl. Yeah. Yeah. I know he got married on Valentine's
SPEAKER_01Day. That's a little bit different. Getting married versus proposing with that little $20 ring that came from rings. That's what I'm saying. I'm just playing. You know what I'm saying? Everybody takes the little
SPEAKER_00ring. It's not the price of the ring. It's the thought
SPEAKER_01behind the ring. It's not a thought though. The thought is it's not a thought. It's not a thought because the ring could come out of a gumball machine, okay? So it don't have to be there. It could be a tattoo. So it don't mean nothing. That ring don't mean nothing. But people get caught up in the materialistics of the world. And so when Reeves and them sent out the little cards, remembering that he got the necklace, the ring, and the earring, so everybody
SPEAKER_00going to... Them sets was the dopest, man.
SPEAKER_01So everybody going to go run and get one of them rings. And then so everybody on
SPEAKER_00social media... $125 you can have yourself set from downtime. You just know you was getting some. Oh yeah. I'm about to get it all tonight buddy. We about to go to work. Yep. I'm good. I'm going to get this. Get a little bit of chocolate. Get some roses. Get a little bottle of wine.
SPEAKER_01I'm good. Now get me the chocolate and the wine. You're going to have to leave them roses behind. Don't bring me that foolery. Heavy on the wine. I
SPEAKER_00mean at the end of the day that's what it's mostly for. You know the flowers is doozers they trying to They're trying to get in where they fit in. That's just the way it is. At the end of the night, they want their woman to feel special because we know y'all going to go to work. Y'all going to be around all these women. And just because some women don't believe in the idea of Valentine's Day, there are other women that do. And so they're going to be getting flowers. They're going to be getting edible arrangements. They're going to be getting all kinds of balloons and teddy bears. And your woman going to come home looking at you like,
SPEAKER_01My
SPEAKER_00dude. Really? Not even a box of chocolate.
SPEAKER_01Some women, because I'm one of them. You spend $100. You know what we could have did with that $100? You know how many times I could have ate with that $100? You know how many bottles of wine I could have bought? I'm going to do something for me for Valentine's Day. Make sure that basket is full with wine and something to eat.
SPEAKER_00I just don't believe you're going to have a lot of men that's going to try that and be like, well, I'm going to try to get my woman on board with that idea.
SPEAKER_01You'll be surprised, though. A lot will. because you know it's like I think it's more so like you were saying you have to know your person you have to be in tune with each other and you can't allow like other people or what they're doing or saying to influence you I'm a clap for you okay that's good girl that's cute but that ain't me that ain't me that ain't me what you did for Valentine's Day I was asleep
SPEAKER_00wait a minute
SPEAKER_01I went to work if it's a work day I cook like normal help with homework and I went to bed I'm like that with Mother's Day too like it's just like you know Mother's Day Father's Day that's a little bit different though Mother's Day you know because every day you're a father every day though since you had your first kid you know so some people same thing for moms like you know and I I guess that's something I grew up with with my mom so I always put that into my kids like I always try to do little stuff for them they do little stuff for me it don't have to be like always money it could be like a hug it could be like you know with you know dance you know like playfully you know play a card game like
SPEAKER_00it's the simple stuff simple stuff you know like it's the simple but I do feel the idea of Mother's Day I think even though you I'm right I agree women should be celebrated year round for being mothers because y'all I mean tremendous job y'all do that all year round do not complain about it do not don't get enough credit for it I will agree with that and that one day is not enough to just say okay we got a day but at the same time I do feel like that recognition needs to be there too I definitely think that's a little bit different from Valentine's Day you know the man made or you go out there and buy your woman something so you can get lucky that's a little bit different Mother's Day I think that definitely and Father's Day I mean Father's Day is a joke we all know that because I mean
SPEAKER_01I think I was reading last year that Father's Day like how halloween comes before it's like the top 25
SPEAKER_0025
SPEAKER_01holidays and halloween was before father's day and i was like damn so you could be scared everything father's
SPEAKER_00day comes and goes you just get your socks you get your tie you get your underwear you get your favorite team whatever and that that's that's it you know mother's day y'all get roses taking out the dinner y'all get you know cook dinner for y'all jewelry oh they go all out I mean a
SPEAKER_01lot of women go all out for the dads too they do what they supposed to do and if not then they might need to reshuffle that dick why
SPEAKER_00are you always trying to break up happy homes I'm not
SPEAKER_01well it's not happy obviously because
SPEAKER_00you always over here trying to break up happy
SPEAKER_01homes I am not I am not I'm that one that tell you stay stay stay pray pray pray
SPEAKER_00Oh, no. Some of the stuff you be saying, it don't sound like you be trying to get people to stay. Yeah,
SPEAKER_01I tell you to stay. I wouldn't say leave. Like, that should be your last resort
SPEAKER_00to me. Oh, okay. Yeah, that's what you say. I don't know.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, don't let a Father's Day gift make you want to leave. Don't shuffle the deck. Don't shuffle the deck if she's reaching out for Father's Day now. You know, times hard sometimes. I mean, if she told you Happy Father's Day, that might be all right.
SPEAKER_00You get that much at least. You get told Happy Father's Day.
SPEAKER_01And then you got to communicate, too. a lot of men sometimes they don't communicate you know
SPEAKER_00in what way
SPEAKER_01like if you're not happy with the little tie and socks you gotta say babe you know
SPEAKER_00no because i mean that day father's day is different because we don't you know we appreciate it and everything but you mean we ain't like tripping off her like that like but mother's day i think women some women i don't say all women but some women are like okay i'm a damn mama you better you know recognize me it's like i work hard all year i take care of your kids i do all of this and that you better to recognize me so it's a little bit different there but um you know my father's day all we want to do is just sit back watch a game chill you know relax just that's the perfect father's day for us to not be bothered
SPEAKER_01definitely
SPEAKER_00that is just a perfect day for us so I mean you know it's a little different but yeah um I like that uh you know I think we're gonna have to talk about I'm gonna have to put that one definitely on the page let people people argue about that. Do y'all think Valentine's Day is like, you know, a big deal? Or do y'all really like, think it's just more like superficial? Y'all think it's something that, you know, should we get rid of Valentine's Day? Should we just say, hey, no more Valentine's Day. What do we need Valentine's Day for? What do you think out there, guys? Y'all let us know. We're going to have the question up on the Facebook page. And I'll let y'all comment. Y'all tell us what y'all think about that one. All right, guys. Well, this has been a really entertaining Lady A, your show is still coming out on Wednesdays. What you got coming up on your show?
SPEAKER_01On Wednesday, the show is going to, we're going to be talking about mental and physical abuse.
SPEAKER_00Okay. Okay. Why is
SPEAKER_01it tolerated? Okay. That's a good
SPEAKER_00topic. Good topic.
