We're back. I say we're back because I feel like it's been a hot minute.
SPEAKER_01It has. It's been a little too long. Not intentional. No, at all. We're dreaming of doing this full time.
SPEAKER_00Amen. And we're putting it out there in the universe because it's gonna happen. So keep sharing. Yes. Speaking of universe inviting, let's just like, I'm eager to talk about this one. We recently did not just a sound bath, but a floating sound bath. Jordan, break it down.
SPEAKER_01So before we went, the the hype was there. We weren't yeah, we were hyping ourselves up for this big, this big outing. And then we started like overanalyzing, which we talked about in on the last podcast about, you know, how do you get in the pool? Do you not get it? Break it down.
SPEAKER_00It was a community pool.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, we were at a public nice community pool. Yes. And then there's like six seat at 80 people they said.
SPEAKER_00There was a lot of people.
SPEAKER_01Everyone's just sitting there waiting to get a cycle. It's like the Didanic. You could have like deck deck tickets. Yep. Or you're in the or you were on the ship. And we were on the ship. We were first class. So they were we get there and they're blowing up air mattresses. Legit air mattress.
SPEAKER_00Those were like what? Not twin bed size. Fools? I think they were fulls. Yeah. And they had quite a few.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, there was a lot. There was a lot. And I I was personally really nervous about getting in. It felt like the like I haven't done a truss fall since like middle school. I wanted to run and jump so badly. You had to like put your feet in and then like fall on backwards. And all I thought was like, what if I miss it?
SPEAKER_00But like you don't know these people that are helping you get on.
SPEAKER_01It's kind of like this whole it's just really funny. Like you're lining up. It's almost reminds me of like that Jones thing. It's like we're like, yeah, we'll drink the Kool-Aid, just tell us what to do. Okay, go backwards and no worries. Like it's like we were like part of a little cult for a second.
SPEAKER_00I felt like I was like a kid at summer camp a little. Like it was very. And then I was thinking, which we had talked about before we went, there was an awkward nervous factor of yes, it's gonna be relaxing to float, but I'm gonna be floating next to people I don't know. Do you know what I'm saying? Like with my eyes closed.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, so we all get in, the three of us get in, and then like I start drifting further away.
SPEAKER_00We wanted to stay together.
SPEAKER_01I wish there was a way to like magnetic together. So I like start drifting further away. At one point I looked up, I was by the man with the like the drum, like with the the in the middle. You got the full effect. I felt like I was like with him the whole time.
SPEAKER_00Although we didn't explain in the middle, the main guy, that was a queen size float for sure.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, he was there with his what are those called? The sound bowls.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, so he was with the bowls, yeah. He didn't have the the f I was gonna say fruit. Flute, no. I gotta eat more fruit, sorry. Me too.
SPEAKER_01There was there was a there was flute, there were flutes, and Native American flutes.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, we never got to see them. We should have asked to take a picture of them. Sound like, but whatever. But the thing is, I did feel the vibrations from the music.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, no, okay, hold on. We let's go break it down before we we I gotta share with someone else. I overheard a conversation and it sounded really extra. I'm just so excited about this stuff. So for a while I kept thinking about stupid stuff in the beginning. Like my mind did not just like space out and like go in the zone. Oh, you mean like when it started? When it started, I was like thinking about I'm like thinking about work some, which it was what day was it? Was a Saturday. Like, why am I even thinking about it? Yeah, I think it was a Saturday, it was a Saturday night, and here I am. My brain, I'm supposed to relax and take in the moment. I'm thinking about work, the dumbest thing, yeah. Like my to-do list. But then at some point I finally like zoned out because of like the hour and a half that we were in there, probably about an hour the time everyone got in. It it flew by. So I'm like, wow, I guess I really did let my mind release.
SPEAKER_00At some point when it started, because he had said, I challenge you to close your eyes for the the whole experience. Jordan, I closed my eyes the first like 15 to 20 minutes. I just had to keep don't open your eyes, Kira. Let's calm. I couldn't calm down. Like my brain, like you said, thinking about everything. It was hard. But then I got to a point where I finally did, and then when it ended, I was like, Did I fall asleep? I wasn't sure.
SPEAKER_01I was worried I was gonna snore. Well, they get very relaxed, and then I kept coughing because I had like a little bit of this dry cough.
SPEAKER_00That was you every time.
SPEAKER_01And she heard me. Like I was ruining, I'm the person they're like, who the hell? Someone in their mind goes, Who the hell comes to this sick? With a dry cough. Who has who has the smokers cough in the end?
SPEAKER_00Can we talk about the M though? Because they gotta you gotta you gotta get off the ship one by one.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, so there's only two, there was two, like front deck and back deck to get out of this pool.
SPEAKER_00I was I was by that corner entrance the most of the time, so I got lucky. They got out right away. Jordan I was the second Maria and I were left.
SPEAKER_01I was the second to last person to get out of this freaking pool. I was on the other side with all these people, but this is where I was gonna share this conversation. These two people were sharing, and actually I found out they were mother-daughter. It was speaking at the other. There's a lot of mother-daughter combos that went to this. But the they were like talking about the vibrations, and like they were really, they really felt insane. They just felt things that I didn't I didn't feel that. I was like but what else did they feel? I'm like, I wanted to ask if they were on something. What was it? I don't know. Okay, but elaborate they did feel some tingles. No, they said that's what they said, like they they could feel the vibrations like through their bodies and everything.
SPEAKER_00It's happening. So I love it. But I did find it funny when they had some people, what's that thing you clean the pool with? The net?
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah, yeah. They had like the lifeguard. Yeah, no, no, was that what it was where like if like you go to grab someone out of a pool, like the hook, the like Baywatch came in at the end and they're pulling people in, like lassoing them in. It was I I wish we had pictures of it. That was awesome. There is a picture of me like on the other side of the pool waving like a crazy person.
SPEAKER_00Honestly, it was so much fun, and I felt I slept like a baby. Yeah, I slept so good that night. I was so calm, which I did not usually sleep.
SPEAKER_01Afterwards, we went to Trader Joe's. It's the best night. We thought we would be like the only people there because they closed at nine, and there were so many people. People were trying to get in the door, like as they were.
SPEAKER_00It's official, Trader Joe's is never not busy.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it is. Like you think because normally, like a lot of times if you go into public seven, it's nice. There's like just a few people, but Trader Joe's people are begging to come in the door.
SPEAKER_00And you can't, I have never had an interaction with an employee that wasn't super pleasant. I know they're always so kind. Shout out to Joe's, shout out to Joes.
SPEAKER_01Because I know they're gonna love you listening to this. Yes. We know all you Trader Joe's employees are following and listening. And shout out to the sound bath crew. Tree Triom, we're following. Oh, they're amazing. They do parties, they do private parties. So I my head's like after I started thinking about this. I wonder what it would be to have them come to my house and do this in my backyard. And then, like you said though, and after do like a tear it, like yeah, and then have like a psychic in the mix, and it would be like a whole night. Like, I don't know. I I have to see how I could plan this because I don't really think kids could be here, and then even about a dog being here, like it might have to be the like a girl's night. Right, just like silent.
SPEAKER_00Honestly, listen, basically we're yogis. No, just kidding. We're really like, we're not. We're just like a every when we can we do it. But I will say, since we started like this stuff, I do feel like it it does impact like your awareness of like your energy.
SPEAKER_01Well, it's the first time in my life I've forced myself to slow down. Same. It's making me like check in and like recalibrate myself for a minute. Even if it's only every few weeks I get to do it because I don't get to go as much as I'd like to.
SPEAKER_00No, it's true, but like you said, I've never consciously thought about before we're spending money now to have someone tell us to slow down. Calm your head.
SPEAKER_01You're gonna lay your ass in this float. Shut your eyes. And close your eyes for an hour and get your head straight. Alright? It's like it's gonna- That's exactly what we paid for. It's it's pretty much like a straight jacket, like like one step away from a straight jacket.
SPEAKER_00Oh my god, you just nailed it.
SPEAKER_01Voluntarily committed ourselves for an hour and a half.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, we paid for somebody and we liked it.
SPEAKER_01And I loved it. I'm going to.
SPEAKER_00I was I looked at Maria, I was like, You think they got a membership for this? Like, I'm in.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, so they do they do events. We'll have to on the at this episode. I'll share the company if for anyone maybe local, or maybe you find something similar in your area. But they do similar classes, but also in hammocks. Like they go all over the state, yeah. Like it was cool. So many. If you see a soundbath, uh, you know, definitely check it out, especially in like a floating one in the pool because that made it that much cooler. It really did.
SPEAKER_00My favorite was the classical music when they played that, or like the instrumental music. At the end when they did, it was like, what was that song? Anyways, but it was it was just so relaxing. So get your sound bath on. Get out there and get your sound bath on and just you know, float into the zenith on that. Catch you later.
