The Naturist Vibe
Vibe Bites - Nudist Dr. Appeals Ruling
In this episode of The Naturist Vibe, Gabby and Dan take a deep dive into the disturbing case of Dr. David Diffine, the Arkansas doctor whose medical license was revoked after videos surfaced showing him nude in his clinic and performing a sexual act on an employee. Now appealing the state’s decision, Diffine’s story has sparked outrage and raised serious questions about accountability, ethics, and transparency within naturist and nudist spaces.
The hosts unpack what happens when unethical behavior hides behind the name of naturism and why simply saying “naturism is safe” is no longer enough. They challenge clubs, organizations, and leaders to be honest about how they handle misconduct, from boundary violations and financial abuse to swinger culture and predatory behavior disguised as naturism.
This is a raw and necessary conversation about facing the hard truth: if naturist spaces refuse to hold their own accountable, they will crumble from the inside. Ethical naturism can only survive when integrity comes before image and when the community stops protecting those who use body freedom as a cover for harm.

Welcome back to the Nature's Vibe. I'm Dan, maker of things,
Gabby:and I'm Gabby the Crown Newie. Dan, we are once again talking about our favorite. You know who it is
Dan:that doctor
Gabby:You say it with such distaste, okay. He's not our favorite person, but he is a prime example of what not to be. Completely opposite of what we preach here about ethical Naturism, but Dr. Diffey is at it again, trying to clear his name even after mounting evidence proved misconduct. This is the same individual using Nudism or Naturism as a justification for his poor behavior and judgment. And if you look in the show notes for this episode. You'll find the link to the article we are referring to where Dr. Diffy is appealing the medical board's decision to suspend his license. So if you're new here and you're just hearing about Dr. Diffy, um, a little bit about his background and the board decision. So. Dr. Diffey, a Northeast Arkansas physician is appealing a decision by the Arkansas State Medical Board to revoke his medical license for five years. The revocation came after video surface showing him walking nude in his clinic's reception area, and performing a sexual act on an employee. And if you are new to this story, Dr. Dny actually claimed that the reason why he was even behaving this way. In the clinic's reception area is because he's a nudist and he proceeded to talk about all the things he was doing in the nudist community. He was once a nude caster, but we all know that this is just a guise for him to justify this poor behavior. And the medical board first suspended his license in July. Then voted on August 8th to permanently revoke it. The board's chairman, ward Gardner signed the written decision on September 3rd. So Dan, what is Tiffany saying about their decision and why does he wanna appeal it? what are his main arguments?
Dan:Well, in the petition which he filed for review on October 2nd in Craighead County Circuit Court, Dr. Dani argues that the board's rulings were legally insufficient and procedurally flawed. His appeal raises several key claims, the first of which is lack of adequate findings or a legal basis. He is arguing that the board's written decision falls short of requirements under Arkansas law for proper findings of fact and conclusions of law, and he goes on to claim that the disciplinary action taken was not in measure with the alleged violations of the Medical Practices Act. Emphasizing that this was his first violation and first final disciplinary action.
Gabby:Well, it's his first violation for this type of behavior, but he had had his, license revoked previously for over-prescribing medication to patients. We know how dangerous that is.
Dan:Yeah, I mean, I think he's trying to not take responsibility for his actions by claiming things like this wasn't following the proper procedure, or they didn't do findings of fact the right way. But at the end of the day, the evidence is clear. The video is there. His behavior was his behavior. It's hard to see how this could even work.
Gabby:Yeah, I'm, well, I'm curious. Tell our listeners what he's saying about the video.
Dan:Tiffany is asserting that the board prejudiced the hearing by releasing evidence of the investigation to the public prior to the hearing and final disciplinary action. He's arguing that the release of the video footage constitutes a criminal act, calling it intimate material of a revenge porn nature, and saying it violated the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act.
Gabby:Yeah. Yeah. So remember when we first, well, when I first learned about his, you know, behavior, you actually brought it to my attention when he actually on Instagram reached out. To us on NBN and was curious about how to sign up, and he had this pickleball league that he wanted put together. I guess it was all an attempt to kind of make himself look good like this natures or nudist that actually does it the right way, but in reality it's just a coverup, just a front anyway. When I, when I sent him the article after you shared it with me and I asked, is this you, he, he proceeds to go down this excuse route that it was all revenge porn,
Dan:Which is kind of a funny thing to claim that on one hand he's saying, I'm a nudist and that's why I was nude in my place. But now he's arguing that it is footage that is intimate material of a revenge porn nature.
Gabby:Yeah. So why were you even being intimate in your place of work? That's the, that's the crazy part to me, is how are you justifying that as intimate material of a revenge porn nature when you shouldn't be that way in the place of work, given that it's not a naturist or nudist. Space, you know what you're doing is illegal and you were performing sexual acts, which you wouldn't do in a nudist or nature space. this is Twilight Zone.
Dan:Yeah, well, his last point is he's arguing that there was a failure to receive the final order. He contends that he never received a copy of the board's decision or order, either personally or by mail. And he is adding that the petitioner himself was injured by final agency action and asked the court to reverse the decision of the board and fully restored his medical license without restriction. And again, even this point of he didn't get the notice, or he didn't get the subpoena, or he didn't get whatever. Proper paperwork really doesn't change anything. It's, again, he's trying to make a procedural point, but at the end of the day, this is a medical board and they can make these kinds of decisions.
Gabby:yeah, you know, and there's video of you, bro, like there's video of you. Running around naked and being Inappropriate with your patients. Like what's there to argue here? You shouldn't be practicing. In fact, I personally think you shouldn't practice at all. But they think five years is enough.
Dan:Yeah, it's kind of annoying when somebody who has a medical license like that and should know better and should have a sense of their responsibility in the world. And doing something like this. Yeah. He doesn't deserve to have his medical license back.
Gabby:So Dr. Dani's petition for review seeks judicial oversight of the board's disciplinary process, challenging both the substance and procedure of the decision. The appeal now moves to the Craighead County Circuit Court where a judge will decide whether to uphold or overturn the board's ruling. I really hope they uphold it.
Dan:Yeah, exactly. I mean, unethical behavior, hiding behind the name of Naturism or Nudism, it really must be exposed. We cannot expect the world to take us seriously if we refuse to confront the problems within our own spaces. Ethical nature is demands, accountability, not silence. Those who exploit the movement, disrespect, consent, or weaponize. Nudity for personal gain are a threat to everything we stand for. And if they refuse to change, they have no place among us.
Gabby:Yeah, it's not enough to keep seeing that nature is safe. You must show how you make it safe. Be transparent about the steps you take to protect people in your community. Talk openly about your code of conduct, how you address boundary violations, and the systems you have in place for reporting misconduct. Ethical naturism means doing the hard work. Setting standards, enforcing them, and ensuring that everyone who steps into your space feels seen, respected, and protected. That's how we rebuild trust through truth, accountability, and action.
Dan:And if you are a nature space that has bad seeds like Dr. Dny festering within it, creating danger instead of safety. It's time to face the hard truth. Whether it's an employee who violates guests boundaries, the misappropriation of club funds illegal drugs on your grounds. a swinger culture being disguised as naturalism or a predator who makes new members feel like fresh meat. You still have a chance to turn things around. Change starts by confronting the problem, not covering it up, because if you choose denial over accountability. The truth will surface eventually, and it will destroy your space from within. Many landing clubs have closed already. The threat to ethical natures isn't outsiders. It's the unethical behavior we allow to remain unchallenged. Yeah,
Gabby:Yeah, and ethical naturism is not just about being close free, it's about being transparent, responsible, and rooted in respect. If you truly believe in this lifestyle, then you must defend it from those who twist it for their own gain. The future of naturalism depends on the courage of those willing to stand in truth, protect community integrity, and ensure that body freedom is never used as a shield for abuse,
Dan:and that is the nature's vibe.
Gabby:ba.
