We're back. Hey. Hello everyone. All 12 of you. What have y'all been what have you been up to?
SPEAKER_01Girl. We took a we took a long hiatus. We did. The summer off, essentially. Yeah. The summer of us not doing anything and working.
SPEAKER_02Oh, summer of us having no money. Um, yeah, I've been, I got a new job, which is super exciting. Like same job, different company, so whatever. Um, super fun. Love my new job. And I've just been living life. I feel like I've just been hanging out with my friends. I feel like summer's been going on for a long time now.
SPEAKER_01Summer's been going on for a long time. Summer's been going on for a long time because it's been hot for a really long time. Well, and we started, we went on vacation, we went to the Bahamas in early June. In early June. Next summer, our vacation should not be early June.
SPEAKER_02No. From like it's been yeah, because it's I didn't go on vacation exactly like a way. I actually spent all my money when we went to the Bahamas. Yeah. Which was a blast. The Bahamas is the best place on earth. If you're looking for a tropical destination for family trip, honeymoon, girls' trip, corporate conference, literally anything.
SPEAKER_01The Bahamas is the best. No, the Bahamas is the best. It's the best. It's I think I want to go there for my bachelorette trip or something. Yes. Oh God. I love the Bahamas so much, but it does that feels like it was forever ago. It really does. And then I was thinking about, I was like, okay, so what am I gonna catch them up on? I'm like, oh, um just the fact that all I have been doing is working and sweating my ass off.
SPEAKER_02I know.
SPEAKER_01That's all I've been doing. It's stinky. I've been stinky.
SPEAKER_02We've been we've had a stinky, poor summer. It's sad. It really is. It's like we're living life and one day we'll miss it, but God, like they this is not what I thought it would be like.
SPEAKER_01But it's next summer we're having a Euro summer or like doing something. We're summering. No, we're we're summering. We're summering somewhere. Being in the lake this past weekend, I was like, okay, we need to figure out a way to get a property somewhere, whether it's in PK or somewhere else, like even if we go in, how people do on like you know, like summer house, like people go in on houses, we need to figure that out.
SPEAKER_02We should do a summer house. I would say, like, the my summer is captured in like four things. Okay, Bahamas. Yeah. Getting a new job. Because after I got a new job, I had like a three-week break, so it's like me and Mary Helen joked that it was my summer break. You just are sabbatical. It was my summer break, it really was. Um, and then Sarah's birthday felt like kind of felt like a vacation, like a trip because we had that pool day. Right. Like a there's a McDaddy mansion. We're in McDaddy Mansion.
SPEAKER_01The guy was like, I didn't know that you could rent people's pools.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it's this thing called Swim Lee, where I guess it's like an Airbnb, but it's for their pool. And in this case, it was so so so so cool. It was in like Westlake, on you know, one of the hills, because it's the hill country, and it's a really cool pool. So Sarah's birthday, and I the lake that we we just went to the lake with our parents.
SPEAKER_01Right, but yeah, I mean again, like the water was really cold, but at the same time, it was so hot. Like when I was laying there, because I didn't want to get in the water that much. You'd think like mid-September it's like a little like it was 102. No, it's not it's not cool. Um but yeah, that was like we need a place to go. Like, we can't be sea slickers 24-7.
unknownI know.
SPEAKER_01So next year I'm gonna do like two, three weeks in Europe. I don't know where who's gonna come. I don't care who comes. Yeah, like everyone's welcome. But the start of the thing is like it is it also gets hot in Europe, like right, but it's different. Like, it's just different. We're not like in the concrete jungle, we're near water, we have like actually good food. Yeah, you know what I mean? Like, it's different. Yeah, we're not in Dallas going to our friend's parents' house's pools. If you could say, like, what was like one highlight of your summer, like what would it be? Bahamas. I mean, yeah, Bahamas. I was looking at even when I made my last like summer dump on Instagram, I was like, I got nothing. Yeah, I got no pictures. I mean, we yeah, and then like going out uh to the bars, which is always fun, but I just I don't know. Like, I don't know what it is what it was about the summer that felt just very like blah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Felt very blah. It felt very chill, but I've been, you know, I've been in a very chill vibe, I think. Like I like chill vibes these days. Yeah. I think when we started this, like our first podcast was after Vegas. And I was in this phase where I was just like I wanted to go out all the time. Now I like just like chilling with my friends.
SPEAKER_01You know what's funny is I've been talking to a couple people. But I do want to go to Vegas again. Yeah. I recently been missing college a lot, and I don't know if it's because now that I'm 26, I'm like, oh, okay, like I'm far enough away from it where I'm like, this is it. Like this is my life now. What? You know, like I do is all I do is work, and so I'm like, wow, I just wish I could go home, maybe like do an assignment, and then just like hang out with my friends. I know. We thought our lives were so hard.
SPEAKER_02I mean, yeah, we were like we are freaking students at Text AM, like this is so mind-bogglingly hard. Like, I I would get a 4.0 hands down if I went back and did it again.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. I yeah, I just am like I don't know. I'm gassed, not to be a Debbie Downer complainer, a little loser, but I'm just I'm gassed.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. But I feel like I feel like we're doing good in our jobs, which is something that we like. Like, I think you've been styling for a lot more people. Yeah, I actually have to do a lot of work for that tomorrow. Yeah, which is such a blessing. For sure.
SPEAKER_01So this year, yeah, so 2027, I'm gonna go so hard.
SPEAKER_02So did you didn't ask me about what the highlight of my summer was. Oh, what's the highlight of your summer, Rachel? Um I would say. I don't know, I I don't think I like like I like to have a plan now. Like I think my brain has grown a lot this summer. You don't like to have a plan, Rachel. That's not that's literally not true. Rachel. That's literally not true. God, I hate when you lie. I hate when you lie. It makes me so mad. Like, just because I don't need a plan, doesn't mean I don't like to have one sometimes. And what I've been doing, if you would have let me finish my thought, if you would have let me finish my thought, I would have said my entire life, and even still now, I'm pretty typey. Okay? I like to go with flow, I like to chill. I just said I like to chill. I'm self-aware. But recently this summer, I have been planning a lot more. I think I've my brain is becoming a little bit more like an adult brain. Well, you are about to get that frontal lobe in a couple days. I know, guys. It's my birthday on PlayStation. It's my birthday. And it still feels like summer. It's supposed to feel like fall. I think that's what's so annoying. Is I'm ready for fall. I always like associate my birthday with fall because it's I'm sorry, it's at the end of September, like it should be. I was looking at the weather. It's gonna be like 95 degrees. I had to get a little romper to wear to the stock yards on my birthday. I'm so dumb. Anyways, but yeah, I've been just growing up. I had a growth spurt this summer.
SPEAKER_01How does it feel? It feels good, it feels good. Do you feel like I can't wait for I think I'm getting mature, but I think in a couple years I'll be like really locked in. I still I've I got a long ways to go.
SPEAKER_02Right. Yeah, listen, you guys, I know I'm a child. Sweet little baby. I know I am, but yeah, I Are you excited to turn 25? I am excited to turn 25. Something that I that has been on my mind recently though is um the way that I feel like some people that we watch, like celebrities and stuff, the way that they act at their age, it does make me feel better. Like even when I'm being like irresponsible or like something like that, I'm like, okay, well, that's a 32-year-old. And she's acting like a psychopath.
SPEAKER_01Right, but then there's also some times where I'm like, oh, so and so's 25 and has this huge amount of success. And I'm like, what am I doing? Yeah, 100%. Yeah. Like I gotta lock in. But then, like, oh, like there's times where I'm like, okay, I know exactly what I want to do, and then I start doing it. I'm like, wait, what am I doing? Yeah, I know.
SPEAKER_02No, I feel like that's relatable. But I think specifically the Mormon Wives make me feel a lot better about maturity. I saw also I saw a TikTok comment that was like, please look up where the state of Utah ranks in education, because the amount of words that they like mispronounce. Well, dad's the same thing.
SPEAKER_01When you watch that, you're like, oh wow. Yeah. Like if they can start from that and then end up where they're going, then we're good. I know.
unknownRight.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. No, I th no, I agree. I don't want to be like negative, but there's some like I wanted to talk to you about the Taylor Frankie Paul AI psychosis, because Lizzie, Lizzie and I like we both like reality TV, we both like pop culture, but sometimes we both get sucked in different directions. And I am I don't enjoy Mormon wife. I'm in the Mor I'm in a Mormon wife prison right now because I did it to myself. So now that I now I care.
SPEAKER_01Also, you watched the entire season. You and Mary Helen watched the entire season at my apartment when we were hungover and I went and I was in my room. Also, that day, that day, you and Mary Helen stayed at my apartment until 9 p.m. on Sunday. 9 p.m. on Sunday. Okay, when I tell y'all that it was 8:30, I I heard them running around, oh, they were getting their door dash that they ordered to my apartment. I was in bed, like reading, like ready to go to bed, and they were like, eat more Chinese food.
SPEAKER_02Like, okay, lots, like when I tell y'all I I grew up a little bit this summer, the exception is any time I'm hanging out with Mary Helen.
SPEAKER_01Oh, same. And when I'm with Mary Helen, I'm like, all right, I'll She just brings it out. She's like an alpha beta. Like she's such an alpha type B that you're just like you just have to relinquish control a little bit.
SPEAKER_02I know, you just gotta submit. You just gotta roll with it. Yeah, submit to the nonsense. It is her and I we um played that bicycle game.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. I I I have you talked to her since the game last night, the LSU Ole Miss game. No, I'm giving her space. Oh, really? We had a really kind of bad weekend for football this weekend. AM lost to Kentucky, humiliating. Well, I think it was actually I think it was a really good weekend for football, just bad for us. That's what I meant. I don't care about other teams that unless I care about.
SPEAKER_02I that olmis LSU game, Mary Hall and I was disappointed. Like it was a little disappointing, but I will say it was one of the most exciting. I I don't I don't even know if I would say disappointing because it's like I would have been like excited if either team won. Like it was just very like the drama of it. I thought it was like this is what college football is about. Yeah. Like the rivalry and just, I don't know, the the environment and just like Link if and even after losing, like still being a cocky asshole. Like in what did he do? He basically was like, listen, if it takes me leaving to like fill the stadium an hour before the game and you know, get the environment like that, then you're welcome. Yeah, bro. He like literally smile on his face, was like, I don't I didn't watch the full thing, but he literally's the Sydney Sweetie of college sports.
SPEAKER_01No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. We're not gonna get on the play because listen, every time it's controversy, he likes the drama. He does, good or bad, he likes creating the drama. I just but I didn't want LSU to do too much.
SPEAKER_02I just think he's cocky and he talks too much. That's what I think he is. Because I here's here's what I notice about him, and like I know you're you get so annoyed when I'm defending him, but like for whatever reason, like the coaches that he has coached with, and even the ones that he's like playing against today, like they like him. I don't hate they like him. So it's like there's something about him where Giffin. He's a good he's a cool guy. He's well, listen, signing the DMs of college girls, like signing in the DMs of girls for the same age as your daughter, that's weird. But there's something about him where it's like, okay, clearly he's good at his job, and the dudes like him, but he just cannot. He can't help himself. He can't help himself.
SPEAKER_01It's probably his mouth. Specific people too, but yeah, I do like Lane Kiffin. Sometimes I like how he can just be like drawing.
SPEAKER_02In the freaking game day interview, he told Pat McAbee that he was gaslighting the old Miss fans.
SPEAKER_01Like, that's funny. I don't think he really should have done that virtually. I understand. I think like realistically, were you were you actually gonna be in danger? I don't know. Like you think they, if anything, the LSU fans would put somebody like that in danger. I don't see Ole Miss with their chandeliers in their freaking tents, like doing something like that.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, no. I I saw a really funny TikTok that was like, he looks like the Joker on a Zoom call in Gotham right now. Like he's is literally like he looked like Megabind up on that screen. Like, it was stupid. It was so stupid. People were freaking out, bro. People were so mad.
SPEAKER_01That's the funny part of it, though, is that it it really is. He had like serious cops around him when he was in Memphis, like, bro, you're in Memphis, chill out.
SPEAKER_02I know, but like I feel like every normal person would agree, like, hey, like he's just we're not gonna like if he walked in this place, like, I'm not gonna hit him, like I'm not, you know.
SPEAKER_01I think people forget that I have met.
SPEAKER_02Like if like if if co I'm not hold on. If let me make a point. If Coach Sarkesian walked in here right now, we'd be like, oh hey, like Oh, yeah, but we're normal. That's my point. That's my point. So it's like, I don't it's I don't think it's his fault that he needs to be surrounded, like escorted by police. I think that's we shouldn't, you know, we shouldn't make excuses. We shouldn't blame him for like saying, of course a man said something stupid, right? Like, of course he did. Like, we know exactly who he is, but anyways, it was a very exciting game, disappointing for the L2 Tigers. The olmus fans were literally playing in their face.
SPEAKER_01Like LC should have won that game. They should have won that game.
SPEAKER_02I just I don't know.
SPEAKER_01There were so many, they had so many opportunities to win that game. Oh, I just uh but at the same time, if I I understand, like I feel like this coaching situation, the him moving is something that would happen to AM. Like it's just like such bad luck, you know? Yeah, we would get someone's coach if they hate and go play. Yeah, so I could see I understand Olmus's side because I could just see that happening to us. So I'm glad that they won. Like they feel vindicated. Oh my god, if Mike. But at the same time, it would have been so entertaining. I know if LSU won.
SPEAKER_02I know. I would I would rather have played in that game and been LSU than the sorry excuse of a football game that AM played. Like, that's just annoying. Yeah, that's just like annoying. Well, I don't know if you saw Mike. Well, the good thing is, I don't know if you saw Mike Elko's interview after, but he pretty much is like congrats. He's like, congratulations. You came in here and you beat our ass. Like that. I love him. Like, God, they're just the girls are just so funny. But I don't know how we went down this rabbit hole. But yeah, the drama in college sports these days, like, people are just I honestly appreciate it. It makes me want to watch. It does, but at the same time, it's like, alright, enough. I get annoyed when the media manipulates it, it makes a bigger deal than it needs to be. Like at that, it gets to a point where it's like, alright, enough. You know? Yeah. Let's let's focus on, but I mean, the composure that like those players had to have. Like, that is it's just crazy. Yeah, they're under such a microscope. Things that they do, I'm just like, that is wow, that's phenomenal. And I went through a phase where I was like, I don't really pay attention to football, and I didn't, and I still kind of don't, but I was thinking about the only times I paid attention to football is when it gives me something.
SPEAKER_01Like I only started paying attention to college football when I went to college. The only time I semi-cared about the NFL, even though we grew up watching it every day the freaking Cowboys played, is when Taylor Swift got involved. Now I'm like, okay, whatever, like this is gonna be forever. I don't care anymore. Yeah. Or I only know football players based off of who they're dating. Like if they're dating someone I know, then like I know you. Right. But that's the only time I've like cared about.
SPEAKER_02Well, and I just, you know, it's because we're not, you know, boys, we didn't play. It's it's another thing. It's like the way that we feel about like the reality TV verse is like the way that men are indifferent. Most men are indifferent to that. But I feel like I don't know, obviously, like if we were men or if we played football, we would have been or if we were a woman who worked in sports.
SPEAKER_01Totally. I don't want to be a weirdo. Okay, let's go into reality TV. I want to talk about Earl Meets World, even though it came out honestly. Again, it came out in the beginning of September and it feels like it's been a month.
SPEAKER_02I don't have a Netflix subscription because I'm poor, so I couldn't watch it. Why are you laughing? Like, that's literally why I haven't watched it. Like, don't roll your eyes like I'm being dramatic. I literally don't have $20 a month to spare.
SPEAKER_01It is true. Don't tell me it's not true. It's okay. Um, I think you would have enjoyed it. I thought it was interesting. It was, they showed me, which I appreciated what's what you want to see, like a different side of her life. You know, if it was just like watching a long for tick to TikTok, it wouldn't have been entertaining. I really liked getting to see their family dynamic. I saw a lot of conversations online saying that they didn't understand or they weren't expecting it to be like it was. I'm like, okay, well, you just didn't grow up with divorced parents, like you just don't get it. Like their parents are friendly, I guess. Their parents are friendly, considering the circumstances. He cheated on her. Yeah. With the girl he remarried. Um, and the girl he remarried was like Yeah, an escort. Yeah. Um, and so that'll happen. So the fact that the mom's able to move past that, really great. And I think the reason she they even said, like, the reason we were all able to move past it is because they started having kids. And so like kids were involved and stuff. But it was interesting to see that, and I wasn't expecting this that sometimes the mom gets kind of left out and gets her feelings hurt. And I thought that was interesting. The mom. Oh. Which I thought was interesting because like you know how girls are with their moms, but I think it's just because they have these little kids. Yeah. And little kids, like, they have more events, they have more reasons to go over there. You know, they have like more entertaining things at their house, stuff like that. So I thought it was interesting. I also learned that Ashley, who's the stepmom, was 24 when they got together.
unknownWow.
SPEAKER_01And so they were saying Alex and Ashton were saying that, you know, when this all happened, they hated her guts, obviously. And just thinking about how I was to our stepparents when they came into the picture, it made me that made me feel like a little bit better. They used to put like gum in her shoes. So when she would put her shoes, like for like I never destroyed our stepparents' stuff, but she, you know, like they she was saying that they made my life a little bit miserable. There was times where I was like, I don't know if I can stay in this relationship, like it's too hard. And then she got pregnant with one of the daughters, I don't remember her name, and they all kind of like came around. Um, and then you know, the their dad is their manager.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_01And I he obviously runs like a really successful construction company that's made him incredibly wealthy. And so I was excited.
SPEAKER_02I yeah, I remember hearing like, yeah, her dad's a construction giant from New Jersey. I'm like, right, okay.
SPEAKER_01Um I was so excited to see like how he operates in those things, like with business and stuff. I don't know if they just decided not to show, like, they have a lot of conversations about it, but it just showed me, and this is no like no T no shade to him. But we say this all the time all you need is confidence and work ethic. Oh. Like he he's obviously smart, right? But he Alex is in charge. Really? Yeah, like he, you know, is there and stuff like that, but Alex is in charge of her stuff, and again, maybe we're not seeing a lot of like the nitty-gritty details in the background, but you know, he and that was another storyline. Like, Ashton felt very like left out because he would always choose to go to Alex's meeting instead of hers because he also manages her, and so he she was like, Okay, well, I'm gonna like look for new management, and he kind of got upset, and they had a meeting, and you know, he showed her like all these numbers, like he can't prepare to this meeting, so you know, like obviously he is smart and stuff, but it just showed me like, okay, and not anybody can do this, but like if we want to do it, we can do it, yeah. You know what I mean? Yeah, and it also made me think like how do you think because realistically, mom is the way if we had to have a parents being a manager, mom is so mom major. How do you think you would handle mom being our manager? Well, she already is in a way, right? But how do you think, like, knowing how we are both so like spirited and passionate and um I don't want to say stubborn, but kind of like controlling our career, yeah. I think it would be hard having our mom do that, especially with how like we don't even like our mom telling us like what to do within life. No, so but I underst but I think she'd be a really good ally, like she would be 100%. Well she would know how to go get brand deals because she works exactly in advertising and so and he was help. Yeah, he was saying like he had he learned a lot and stuff like that. And they're also he's seen like so much of his daughters. Like, I think dad would have a really hard time handling that. Like there was one point where they were getting blackmailed with their nudes and they talked about it, and he had to like look at all them and confirm that it was them because he was like, Okay, is this even you? So he had to see, he had to look at them and see because they were blackmailing them for money. Well, why couldn't the girls just look at them? Yeah, because he was their business manager, like it was it was a lot of money they were asking for, is what I'm saying. So he had to be like, okay. I didn't know that happened. Yeah. They've never talked about it. And so he's like, he clarified, he's like, I didn't look at all of them. He said, I looked at enough to know that it was you.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And take care of what needed to be taken care of. Like he kind of kind of got annoyed when Alex brought it up.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_01So I'm assuming it was a money situation. He just said, I took care of it. You know what I mean? Yeah. And it's and it made it seem like it was when they were way younger and kind of new on the scene. Um, I think I think it's a good one. And so I was just like, that's just but that's also like props to him that he was able to like do that and not I think it's it's just interesting to me because like it's your dad, and they do things that are so like not conservative necessarily, and he handles it really well. Like he but like what I'm saying is they talk about him buying her boob job, right? And she I was like, I could never, I can no matter how I pitched it to dad, he would never give me money for boobs. He would never give me money for boobs, and she said she told him he is in the interview, and he was like, She came to me and said, Dad, this is an investment in my career. And he kind of laughed and he goes, She was right. Because she got kind of she went viral off. She's like, Is this too much for little bar in New Jersey? Like her tits were out. Like, yeah. She was like, so he was right, and so it's just like an interesting dynamic. It reminds me of like the cardat. Listen, you didn't let me talk with a football battery.
SPEAKER_02You asked me a question like four minutes ago. What was it? You were like, How would you handle mom being your man in the house?
SPEAKER_01You said not well. You already answered it. You already answered it. You just said to me, I tried to make my comments online and you wouldn't let me talk either. You're literally having a conversation with yourself. You literally just were too. Stop staring at yourself. I'm not anyway. I thought that was interesting. Like he really interested you interested me. Okay. Like he was also, but he was quiet, and then he was also like he's I don't know. Like, I feel like if I was around him, he would really stress me out.
SPEAKER_02He's not a construction giant. Like there were TBD on that. If he is, like, I'm sorry for like you know, spreading whatever about your family, Alex. But like Alex, yeah, Alex, if you're listening. Alex, if you're listening, I'm sorry. But that's just weird. Like, anyways, but I don't know how construction works, but I love Ashton.
SPEAKER_01Ashton's my vibe. Ashton is very much your vibe, and that I don't know if you saw on TikTok their fight that went kind of viral. Yeah, they're mean. But I okay, from my perspective, I was like, that wasn't that bad. But it was funny because Ashton has this apartment in New York, and whenever Alex has to do something in New York, she just stays there. And so Ashton's like, you know, Alex comes and she's she's really messy, and she just, you know, she's just a lot as a person. Like, she's just a lot. And so she was gonna stay here for a certain amount of time, and then the next day my friends were coming into town to stay with me. Yeah, but then Alex was like, No, I'm staying till Sunday, or whatever. And Ashton was like, No, you have to leave. And so they got into a fight, it's a video. Alex is just like recording Ashton coming into the room she's staying, and it was like, get out, like you need to leave, go home, like whatever. And they're just arguing back and forth, and Alex records the whole thing because Ashton's like crashing out, and I couldn't totally understand both sides. Like, you want your sister out, and as your sister, like, where am I supposed to go? Like, I told you I was gonna stay, whatever. And so Alex records her crashing out, being like, Get the fuck out. Like all this stuff, like picking up her stuff and like packing for, and Alex the whole time was just like sitting on her couch, like, I'm not leaving. And Alex posted online and it went viral because everyone was like, the people who were commenting negatively have is either no siblings or no sisters, like just clearly don't understand.
SPEAKER_02Do not ever, ever try and intervene in a sister fight. Ever.
SPEAKER_01You're no one wins from that. You only make it worse. Like, I cannot, yeah. So everyone online was being like, Ashen needs to be grateful to you, like she has this career for you, like all this stuff. And then the next day they had to go on some like press thing or work together. And so Ashton's in the car, and she's like, That's like everyone online is saying these terrible things about me because you posted a video of me being mad at you, and I totally understand like Ashen's side. She's like, It's not just content or whatever. And Alex is like, You you're a bitch. Like, all the they just went back and forth. They're like, No, you're a bitch, no, you're a bitch, like in the SUV, like all the way to a work thing, and she's like, and Alex is like, I'm a bitch because you're a fucking bitch. And they're just like yelling at each other, and I was like, I feel so scene, but I would be so pissed if you posted a video of me crashing out on the internet just for like content. Like, that's just I don't know. I did not know.
SPEAKER_02You should remember that the next time that you post a noticeably ugly picture of me in your photo dump on Instagram. That was not an ugly picture of you, yeah. I'm like, we're not gonna get into it right now, but it wasn't cute. And you know that. No, I'm not sure. And you're just like, oh, look at your nimbles. Shut up. Like, it was a picture of me looking goofy in front of a bunch of food, like a big bag, and she's like, Summer dump. Like, literally go screw yourself. Whatever. I would never post anything. So noted, noted, don't post anything about me. Okay, so I'm not yet 27.
SPEAKER_01It's we're at 27 minutes. I have a couple more points about the show, and then we can move on.
SPEAKER_02All right, all right, all right. Make your point.
SPEAKER_01The Alex Cooper of it all. I know, it's so sad. That honestly, it was interesting to hear that she had something posted ready to go, and then everyone kind of like talked her out of it.
SPEAKER_02Interesting.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, like she had she was like hung over it in the video, like explained it, and pretty much she was just saying, like, she asked me really uncomfortable questions in our interview, like very uncomfortable sexual questions, and after the interview, I asked her to take those out, and she didn't. And she was like, that's what made me very uncomfortable. And she was like, I felt very taken advantage of, like, slimy, gross, you know, whatever. And yeah, so I think and the question she referred to is they asked her a question if she'd ever done anal and like if she these other things, and she asked those to be taken out, and it wasn't. So I think if you have someone on your show, like that's just bad hostess. Like, honestly.
SPEAKER_02That's well, and you need to talk about that before also not and again, like not blaming like you can't blame a girl who's like put in a vulnerable position and taken advantage of, but noted, like you need to decide that in writing with a mutual agreement beforehand.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I think she was very young, she didn't have a publicist yet. She was just she was still in college, like all this stuff, she didn't know what she was doing, and I think even that like she felt very taken advantage of, you know. Like, if we if a girl came to us and she was on our show and she had no idea how the ropes worked, we'd never be like, We're gonna take advantage of the fact that you have no idea how the rope worked.
SPEAKER_02Notice weird because I I remember when this stuff first came out and people were like, everyone, even I was like, I think if it was a man like acting the way that Alex Cooper acts, no one would, you know, even blink at it. And I still think that that's true, but I do think there is a fact of like, okay, yes, the saying, like, okay, this is just business, business isn't personal, like all this stuff, like, yeah, business is cutthroat. Is that true? Yeah, but it doesn't mean you weren't being shady. Like, you could write it off on the fact that you can write it off on the fact that we're just doing business, like that's fine, but it doesn't, it doesn't negate the fact that you're being weird and you're you're taking advantage of someone. You still did someone wrong.
SPEAKER_01I don't like when people say, like, oh well, a man does it and it's fine. I was like, no, it's not fine, and we're actually supposed to be better than a man. Yeah. Like we're supposed to hold ourselves higher and more accountable than that. And it like, it's just, I don't like when people are slimy, and I think the best thing you can do in business is be kind. Like, people will always remember if you're enjoyable to work with, they're always gonna remember if you've made them feel good. So just do those things.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and it's just like all for what? Like, there's women out there who are more powerful than Alex Cooper, who make more money than Alex Cooper, and they don't have to do those things, and they didn't have to do those things to get where they are. Right.
SPEAKER_01And she was also just saying, like, when she signed with Unwell, it was very just unprofessional. Like, you know, they were startup. She's like, I understand they were startup and they're figuring things out, but I was completely on my own. I had no idea what I was doing. I had to carry this equipment, set up this equipment all by myself. Like, there was no help to be found. Yeah. And she was like, I was just done. Like, I wanted to be done. And she at first didn't give her the footage. And then something online was said. I think she was like, No, I don't have access to any of it. And then the next day, Alex posted this video like, I learned for the best Dave. Like, you know that video she made, like, I learned from Dave, she has access to all her stuff. And then the day after that, Matt, her husband, emailed her and was like, Here's all your stuff. You just waited a couple more days. We could have figured this out. Like, you didn't have to take it public or whatever. So I thought that was interesting.
SPEAKER_02I think, yeah, that also I learned from the day best Dave is a wild thing to say, but continue.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And I also did not realize how down bad she was for Baxton. Like when I found out about the breakup, I was like, oh, she probably broke up with him because she's shooting off and doesn't want to be tied down and she's really she's about to be a megastar, which is probably I think which is partly true. Yeah. But she, you know, at the same time as breakup went through like a lot of stuff. Her mom got diagnosed with cancer. She, you know, like was just having a hard time. And so she the I mean, every episode she cried about this boy. Like she was like so down bad, had such regrets, and there was one scene that they were at like a mutual party with all her family there, and her parents like left Alex's table to go like say hi and talk to him. And I if our parents did that, I would be very annoyed with them. Yeah, that's right. But she like handled it well, I guess. And you know, she's like drunk, texting him, calling him, all this stuff. And then last episode she is talking to like Sally and Ashen and wants to talk to him about, you know, like would you ever possibly see us getting back together? Like, is that ever an option? Pretty much. And she was she was saying when they broke up, he was like, I don't get back with vexes. Like, if you break, like you're breaking up with me, like done, never coming back, like all this stuff. Okay, whatever. And so she calls him and she's like a very long-winded, like nervous way of saying, like, could you ever see us? Like, is that ever a possibility? And he just goes, Oh, Alex, and then the show ends. Yeah, I saw that. Um, so yeah, I was just surprised that like I knew they had a good, healthy relationship, but she's like, and she was just down bad. I don't know if that's still the case now, if summer's time has passed, but she seems like she had a lot of regret.
SPEAKER_02She unfollowed him because he basically she started going out with this guy who was like, I don't know, race car driver, F1 driver, something like that. And then that guy's ex started going out with Braxton. Yeah. And so she unfollowed him.
SPEAKER_01She she called him one night drunk, was like, I want you to know like every rumor that I've seen online, like every picture that I've seen, I've stalked every girl. Like, yeah, like she was going through it.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I feel like it's a vulnerable share, but like you can't judge her because no, we've but we've done worse. Oh, 100%. I've done so much worse. But it's like if you go from a place of thinking this one person is endgame, and now he's just like he's also a celebrity, he's a professional athlete, so you see everything. I feel like in the times where I've gone through a breakup, I never see the person again, and I never see anything that they do ever again. So it's like she has to go through that, not only being in the public eye herself, but every everything that her ex does, it's you know, posted on tech, it goes viral or something like that. So that's actually insane. But I love the vibe of like her, Sally, and her sister. Like, I just love I love that they're making being a party girl like normal. Yeah, she was in a couple of things. Not in a toxic way.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, she was like, I don't understand why people get so mad that I go out. Like I'm 25.
SPEAKER_02Well, they're not I don't know. I think they they're wild and they're fun, but they're girls' girls at the end of the day. Like they look out for each other, clearly, and they're just doing it because they just want to have fun with each other. Yeah, it's like I I don't under I don't know who's getting mad at her, but literally just they're literally just jealous. Like, I'm sorry. Cause I am I'm jealous, but okay, so we did this thing where our friends turned us into men and I really want to see what they look like. Right now? Yeah, right now.
SPEAKER_01So first are all of them been sent?
SPEAKER_02I don't know. Some of them. Some of them. Okay, so the first one that was sent, we're gonna have to include visuals. Oh my god. We have to include visuals. Okay, so let's talk about Sarah Zeitler. Let's talk about this guy, Sarah Zeitler. Lizette, look at me. This is Sarah Zeitler. Yeah. He's short. He's really short.
SPEAKER_01He also looks a little girly. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Like he looks like uh metro. He is metro. I would be friends with him, but he's really short. Yeah, he's really short. He's really metro vibes. But he's fun. Rachel. Rachel.
SPEAKER_01Rachel, you look like some dude in California.
SPEAKER_02Dude, that's the blueprint right there.
SPEAKER_01You look like some dude in California. God, he looks so good in green. Dude, what the frick? Alright, who's next?
SPEAKER_02Oh. Alex, Alex is hot. Dude, Alex is okay. Alex is the blueprint. Alex is the blueprint.
SPEAKER_01Caroline, Caroline's hot too.
SPEAKER_02Wait, which is this Caroline?
SPEAKER_01Caroline's a Wyoming. Oh no.
SPEAKER_02Okay, okay, okay. Well, slow down. Okay, slow down. We're not giving this enough attention. Damn it. This is oh my god. So this is Caroline. Yeah. That is the blueprint right there. Yeah, for sure. And then who is this? That's Alex. Alex, that looks something like Alex. I literally had to ask who that was. I Alex, I mean, yeah, you're cute, you know. Looks like a Dallas boy. Like that is what a Dallas boy looks like, 100%. Holding a baby, performative. Performative. That literally does not even look like Alex. Look at the one, look at the one of me. Oh, hold on. We need to pause. Sophie.
SPEAKER_01Sophie looks like such a doucher.
SPEAKER_02Sophie looks like sh like such a doucher. Sophie, that's so annoying. Like, of course she would get that guy. Of course she would get that guy. She is that guy.
SPEAKER_01She is that guy.
SPEAKER_02She is that guy. Of course she gets that guy. He's a man whore. He's an actual man whore. She gets all the guys as a girl. And as a guy, she gets all the girls. It's so annoying with her stupid aviator sunglasses and her chain.
unknownAnd her pants.
SPEAKER_02That doesn't even look like you. I look like Jordan Rogers. That doesn't even look like you. Whatever. This is why you can't trust AI. Chloe. Yeah. It literally doesn't even look like Khloe.
SPEAKER_01Guys are just the same guys differently. He's literally just Chloe. He's a little too.
SPEAKER_02He's also.
SPEAKER_01I love how Mom's tall. Who do you think is the best? I think Caroline's is the best.
SPEAKER_02Like the most accurate?
SPEAKER_01I just meant like the most attractive. Isn't that the whole point?
SPEAKER_02I would say the most accurate and the most attractive is Caroline.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, no, Caroline's was 100%. Good. Okay, can you explain to us this Taylor Frankie Paul BS you want to talk to me about? I don't know. I here's can I just tell you what I've seen, a little bit of what I've seen online. Yeah. Is that people are talking about maybe she's into drugs or something?
SPEAKER_02All of them are doing drugs.
SPEAKER_01What do you mean?
SPEAKER_02Okay. Like pop up. Okay, okay. Shh, listen to me. Okay. So first time we had talked, the only time we had talked about this, maybe, was when it came out that The Bachelorette was dropped, right? And here's just something that I have to say because the most recent is that they are filming season six, I guess. So they just Of Mormon wise? Of Mormon Wise. Or the the rest of season five or season six or something like that. What just came out? Season five, maybe part one, because there was like five episodes, and then it just said to be continued because it stopped when production was stopped because of everything else. And so since then it has come out that Michaela told producers that she will not be returning for the next season that they film because a certain person was allowed on that season. So Taylor. So obviously Taylor. And I just like at first didn't want to comment on it because Taylor or Dakota? It's probably Taylor. I can't imagine that they let Dakota back on because he basically sent all this information to TMZ and like caused the pause of production. I cannot imagine that they include him as like a cast member on the next one. I really can't. Or any any of the dad talk men, really. Um, because it kind of negates the point like why this is Secret Lives of Mormon wives. Why are why are the men cast members? It's it's like real housewives, like right. PK isn't a cast member, even though they're a talking point, whatever. So Michaela makes this long post of like it's unethical, like all this stuff. Like, I did this as a way to make money, but I'm not gonna make money off of something that I know is unethical because I came from an abusive household. Right. And so she basically posts that very mature. The youngest one is very mature, right? Right, literally. And she posts that, and now the girls are fighting. And essentially Wives? Yeah, all of them with each other. It's not each other, it's really just like Taylor versus everyone else. But I do have to say, like, Taylor, the comments that she's leaving is actually insane. And she's posted things and removed them where basically now it's been leaked, probably by one of the Mormon wives or Dakota or someone else, that she's failing drug tests. And it's one of those things where do they know what drugs it is? Like, it's probably cocaine because that's my guess, because whenever Chase, Miranda's husband, was arrested for DUI, he was also charged with possession of cocaine. And unfortunately, it's such loser behavior, but cocaine is so popular right now. And so when you hear things like, oh, she's failing drug tests, like you're definitely doing cocaine or something like that. I I see people in the comments saying things like, Oh, by the way, like if you're on ADD medicine or anxiety medication, you can also that can also be picked up. Like, she would not lose time with her kids for a prescription that she was given by a doctor. Like, obviously, she's not the first person to be on anti-anxiety or depression or ADD medication in a custody battle. Like, there's no way. And she's leaving crazy comments and she posts these things, and one of the things that she posted was an unreal AI edited picture of her in court. And she's Why did she do that? Why did she do it?
SPEAKER_01But what was the video that she what was the thing that was like a little bit of a couple of things it wasn't a video?
SPEAKER_02She was just posting about like posted it. She posted it, yeah. And she posted on Instagram like a thing of pictures, and it was like a her like in a suit that's literally AI. It's literally an AI edit of her in court. And the joke is like she's literally in psychosis.
SPEAKER_01So she why so she posted this photo of her, what just standing in court was the caption? Like, what was she what was the caption?
SPEAKER_02Was just like one of her rants that she's always going on about everything that she's going through and all this stuff, and her persevering and god knows what. It was just a typical nonsense Taylor Frankie Paul manic post. And it it it's anyways, and so Michaela comes out and says that she's leaving the show. Well, now all of the other moms are especially um oh my god, why am I blanking on her name? That's actually gonna be so bad. I feel bad.
SPEAKER_01Who?
SPEAKER_02The blonde, Macy, Macy, who I love, basically came out She seems pretty normal. She does seem like that.
SPEAKER_01Macy Michaela seemed pretty normal.
SPEAKER_02She was like, here's everything that went down with me during this season that they literally didn't talk about because all we were talking about the entire time was Taylor and her being with three different men at once after getting engaged on The Bachelorette. And she just talks about everything that she went through and she gave a really good perspective of like when I start she when she started that season, and same thing with Michaela, they were like freshly postpartum, like just had a baby. And to like she released a book, she has a brand, all this stuff. She's like, So I'm running a business, one of those businesses, it's literally just me, the co-founder, and like our social media girl. She's like, So I'm coordinating all of these things, and all of like we're coordinating all of these things, and when we're filming, we have to film at a certain schedule because Taylor's on the bachelorette and all this stuff. So she's like, all of this was kind of coordinated around like Taylor. And she's like, So I'm doing all these things, making all of these sacrifices to film for this girl, and there's so many like great important things going on in my life, but none of it aired because she's a psycho, like she's literally a psycho. And this whole like, I'm addicted to Dakota, like it's I'm just over it. And it really isn't if they really did bring her back for season six after everything that's going on, like that's a that's a really bad look. And I just feel like okay, they're both Hulu shows. This is ABC Disney verse, right? If you can't air The Bachelorette, why can you air Mormon Wives? Like, what what's the line? You know, like where where do we I understand they're two different franchises and two like two different sets of producers that make different decisions, but it's just it's just Kind of over the top, and it's frustrating because those Mormon wives are so entertaining, like they really are. I love watching Macy Michaela, Michaela, like reading people the way that she does. It is really funny. Like, why is it all only ever about Taylor?
SPEAKER_01I think what it is, how I from what you're saying, like from what I understand, it's like the same thing with Jack's Taylor. Like, they kept him on because it was something, it was so crazy that it's like, how can we not show this? And then it got to a point where, like, oh, this is bad. Like, this, like, he was terrible to his kid, he was terrible to his wife, to the point where it was abuse, and they were like, oh no, we can't show and support someone who's abusing their family. It's I it sounds like the same exact thing.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I have to the point where it's like it's miserable to watch.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I have a theory, like it would come, it wouldn't surprise me if it come out that like she's also talking to one of the producers or something like that. It r it really wouldn't. Just the level to I know that's like I probably shouldn't put that out there, but I mean it just the level to the which she's been protected. That wasn't good grammar, but it's just actually if you watch Batman.
SPEAKER_01I think I think like from a production standpoint, it's like, okay, we have this show because of this girl. That's why they have the show. So I guess like you do have to organize it a certain way, and you have to show more because that's what's relevant. And I think if they showed this season, it was like all of Macy's like happy life, good lucky moments, people would be like, What do you mean? Like this whole thing is going down. Why aren't y'all talking about it? Yeah, I understand it from like a production consumer standpoint, but maybe like maybe they didn't realize how bad it really was, you know? Like, yeah, if she I don't know, like I don't know what the motive I understand releasing that season.
SPEAKER_02That yeah, I understand because they also showed really important things where Jesse said that Dakota was over at their house talking to her husband, and he was like, Oh, I'm messing with her head so bad right now. Like, he's such a like slimy, creepy, demented person that that's like his foreplay of getting in this bipolar woman's head. Like, you're gross, like you're actually gross. And so I'm but I'm glad that they show that to show that no, she's not just this like evil person who wants, I don't know, who wants to harm her kids. Like, she she's also a victim to that guy. Oh, because he's he's crazy, like he's actually crazy to say things like that, like, oh, I'm fucking with her head so bad right now. It's like that's the mother of your kid. Yeah, like you realize do messing with her head just so you can get into bed with her, like that hurts your child. So it's like a very much a situation of like two very toxic people that are bad for each other. But it's it's I'm just to the point where it's like, why would you have her back on season six? Because now there is other drama outside of her, like you know, Chase with you know, his behavior, sleeping with all the girls, Jesse and Marciano, and that situation. Yeah, Michaela, like beefing with all the girls, like they really do have storylines outside of her, yeah, to the point where it's like you just don't need that. Now, Layla, you know, Layla dated Chase's brother, and so now they're gonna be around each other. And so it's like, yeah, I don't want it to be a bunch of male sounded drama, but they do have drama outside of her, and you know, Jen is entertaining, just like girl, there's something wrong with you. Like, really? She's like, Okay, I saw a really good comparison. She is Sheena, like she is the show's Sheena. Yeah, and Taylor Frankie Paul is Jack's Taylor Frankie Paul. Yeah, she really is. Wow, wow, she is Sheena. Like, she just and all I have to say is I don't think this girl is nice, but Demi like called it very early in advance. And I saw this long TikTok, which they're all crazy. Like, sorry, leave leaving paragraphs of TikTok comments that they do. It's just like, how like, how did their brains compute? I think they were on drugs, but I think they're on drugs. I think they're on drugs. Oh, the Adderall. I something, literally something. They're drinking too much of that dirty soda. Like they have to do that. That's what I'm saying. So it also said she was like, I don't know if it's on there in the soda. Dude, it's like uh it's just wild. But she basically said it's like she it before season one or season two mentioned to Jen that she was when she was really struggling with postpartum depression, ketamine therapy really helped her. And in that season, Jen was like, Yeah, I'm really struggling with postpartum depression, so I'm doing ketamine therapy and like stuff like that. And she was like, That was my life. Like, I literally told you my life, and she kind of used it as her storyline. So basically she was like, I'm literally seeing this in real time with her with Whitney. Like, she's tr literally just like, I want to be a star, I want to audition, and like it's not like she doesn't know what she's like, she doesn't know what she wants, she just wants attention, yeah. She just wants to be a star, she just wants attention, she doesn't, and I like I hate to say this, but some people are just more talented than others. Oh, yeah, and I think Whitney is proof of that. And yeah, I'm not saying she's not talented, like I think Jen is she has something.
SPEAKER_01She just needs to find her niche, she needs to be authentic, stop forcing it.
SPEAKER_02Like, yeah, just because you're on a reality TV show, yeah, just because you can get an audition, doesn't mean you should. Oh, play that play that back when I start auditioning for Broadway, please. Rachel, oh my god. Oh my god. Could you imagine?
SPEAKER_01Roxy Hart. Oh no, I can't, I can't sing. Neither can I.
SPEAKER_02I can't sing.
SPEAKER_01I think we're more like personality vibes. We couldn't try to be someone else if we tried Rachel. Like we are who we are. I would love to be on traitors.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Oh, this trader cast is gonna be so good. No, this trader cast is gonna be so. I'm so excited for Whitney on it. Craig Connor, I can I cannot escape Craig. He is so annoying, but he's such a good trader.
SPEAKER_01I don't know. Do you think they're gonna make a traitor? I don't think they're gonna make him a traitor.
SPEAKER_02No, that's what I said. I think he's a good thing. I don't think they're gonna make him a faithful.
SPEAKER_01I'm a faithful because I'm a faithful. I think he's gonna be a faithful because they have to make him a faithful, and I think he's such a natural liar that he's gonna just start lying and not even realize that he's lying. He's gonna forget his lies. And then people are gonna be like, oh, you're lying, so you're a traitor, and then he's gonna like the traitors are totally gonna target him for sure. He's such an easy target. He really is. And he like his and then he's gonna be kind of like Tom Sandoval in a way where he's gonna try to like figure out the traitor and like none of it makes sense. He's not gonna understand.
SPEAKER_02Like he's just not gonna did he go to law school? Did we ever figure that out?
SPEAKER_01He went to law school. He went to law school, I just don't think he took the bar.
SPEAKER_02If he says something about the fact that he went to law school, I'm gonna freak out. He's a lawyer. Of course he is. He's a lawyer.
SPEAKER_01God idiot. Oh my god, a storyteller. Oh my god. Yeah, I think everything Christian on there. I know. So good. So funny. So what is she like?
unknownI know.
SPEAKER_02That's so funny. Every breakfast she was like, I literally just, oh my god, I just want to hang out with her. I know. Uh I know her in back pocket. I know. The freaking convergence of all the different, oh, sorry, media platforms. Like now Broadway is getting in the mix, like live entertainment is so big now. Everybody wants a piece. I know. It's actually absolutely. I want them to put regular degulars on there. They do. It's called New Bloods, but it's I didn't watch it. What? I've never heard of that. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Chloe like applied. What? Yeah, I don't think so. But there's no New Bloods in the cast.
SPEAKER_02No, a different version of the show called New Bloods.
SPEAKER_01Oh no, I don't want to do that.
SPEAKER_02It's a bunch of regular people.
SPEAKER_01I want to see regular people interact with housewives and bachelor stars and bro. Like, I want to see like someone who works at nine to five.
SPEAKER_02Was Jack Saylor ever on Traitors? No. Do you think he was on Villains? And you put Jojo Sebo on Traders. I need to put Jojo Seba on Traders.
SPEAKER_01Okay. I agree. She stresses me out, but I'll do it just for the entertainment. What are your thoughts on Dancing with the Stars so far?
SPEAKER_02Um, I don't really have any.
SPEAKER_01Oh, okay. Well, my thoughts. Mars was great. Mars was great. Mars was really good. I think Mark Ballast just is, I don't know what he does in that, you know, classroom. He's magic. She's an ex rocking art. I don't think she can sing. Really? Rachel. I don't think you understand the entire time we're dancing. She's right here talking. She never stops talking, like all this stuff. But I thought she did so well. Um, I also, who was the other one that I liked? I forget. She really stole the show from me. It's hard for me to appreciate the boy stars. Oh, the qu the amputee. I thought he was good. Yeah. He was a Olympics. What's it called when they're not it's not special Olympics, but Paralympics. Paralympics. Yeah. And I thought he did really well. Like he was explained the way he explained how he couldn't move his leg a certain way and how he explained the amputation and everything like that to the professional, Ferrari. Everyone calls her the Ferrari. Was really interesting. And it made me understand. So like made me understand to the point where I saw him dancing. I was like, wow, so he's just strong. You know what I mean? Yeah. Super interesting. Um, and he just seems like a sweet boy. I like when people go through hard things and just turn out to be like okay and happy and aren't bitter and like victim-y, you know what I mean? Right. Really appreciate that. Yeah. Um, other than that, Mike Chang thought he did well. I was expecting more from him. He better. I was expecting more from it. At the end of it, he like when the dance was over, I he was so hyped up from it that he started doing this like hump thing. And it was like, ew. Stop bumping. This is Disney channel, bro.
