I’m taking a little bit of a departure from the normal content of this show. Usually we look at a historical marker to see the story behind the story. But this time I’m speaking with a new friend, J.J. Prats. J.F. is the chief editor and publisher of the Historical marker Database. He actually founded this resource in 2006.
This database contains excellent information about the many historical markers and signs found throughout the United States. He is assisted by quite an army of co-contributors that help the database grow and stay current.
I invite you to listen to J.J. as he explains the database, how it was founded and why this is a valuable resource for you.
You can find the database online by searching or you can go directly to it at: https://hmdb.org. Be sure to look over all the resources that are available through this site.
