Let Me Help
Life doesn't come with a manual - but sometimes it helps to have a friend who's willing to share what's working... and what's not.
Let Me Help is where I share practical ideas, honest conversations, and encouragement for everyday women. From simplifying your home and strengthening your marriage to parenting, homeschooling, health, faith, and finding joy in the ordinary, I hope you'll leave each episode with something you can actually use - and hopefully a little more peace than when you pressed play.
I'm Ashley - a wife, homeschooler, author, and lifelong learner who's always asking, "How can I make life just a little better?" Around here, I share what I'm learning in hopes that it helps you, too. I'm glad you're here!

Welcome to the Let Me Help Podcast, a lifestyle podcast packed with simple life hacks, organizational tips, real talk on faith and marriage, homeschooling insights, parenting encouragement, health and wellness conversations, and so much more. Whether you're busy juggling life, consumed in the chaos, or just craving some clarity, it's my intention to help make your life a little smoother. One episode at a time. Hello, friends! I was not planning on officially coming back quite yet, and I'm really not, but I've missed you. I've missed this. So let's consider this a little summer pop-in, shall we call it? Season three wrapped up back in April, and honestly, life has been really full in the best way. I thought I would jump on here, catch you up, and maybe let you help shape what's next. So, first of all, I gave the podcast a little facelift. If you happen to see the new little thumbnail or anything else, any of the new artwork, you'll notice everything looks a little different. I spent some time this spring really thinking about my brand, what I want it to feel like, what kind of conversations I want us to have together here. And I think it's just cleaner, more intentional. It feels more like me. And honestly, I think that's a theme that's carried through every part of my life lately. One of the biggest things I've been working on is something I'm incredibly proud of. I am actually publishing my first book. So excited. It's a memoir that I've been writing for someone who is incredibly special to me. And wrapping that up has stretched me in ways I never expected. I had no idea everything that went into publishing a book. I still don't. I'm in the process. So writing formatting book covers, I'm doing it through Amazon. So just, I mean, there are so many moving pieces, but I have truly loved every second of figuring it out, which brings me to something I've realized about myself. I genuinely love learning. This is kind of an ongoing joke with some close friends of mine that I say I love learning all the time to get them to realize how much they love learning. Definitely not in a sit-in-a-classroom kind of way, but I love figuring things out. You know, give me an idea I've never done before, and suddenly I'm watching tutorials, reading articles, asking questions, making mistakes, trying again. And it's honestly one of my favorite parts about life. I don't think people do it enough. That's exactly how this podcast started. I had this crazy thought, you know, I wonder if I could start a podcast. And then I just figured it out. Was it perfect? Absolutely not. Is it perfect now? 100% no. Neither is this book, by the way. Neither is a new job that I'm starting. Speaking of that, I also started working with my dad and his wife's recruiting company, helping connect people with careers in aesthetics and wellness, and it's a completely different world, you guys. It's completely different from anything I've ever done before. Completely different challenges, and I've loved learning that too. Somewhere along the way, I heard a quote that has stuck with me, and I'm so thankful it has. Don't screw up good for perfect. And I honestly think about that all the time because perfection keeps so many dreams sitting on a shelf. If I had waited until I knew exactly what I was doing, there wouldn't be a podcast, there wouldn't be a book, there wouldn't be a new career, there wouldn't be half of the things that I'm most proud of. And who knows where they'll end up, but who cares? I've learned that trying, failing, pivoting, starting over, that's not the part to avoid. That's actually where all the growth happens. So now, season four of the podcast. Here's the funny part. I don't completely know what season four even looks like yet. And honestly, I kind of love that. I know I want to keep talking about gratitude because it is at the core of my being. Even on our worst days, we can strip down to something we're truly thankful for, changes everything. I also love keeping it about slowing down, right? I mean, this the fast pace of this world is out of control and more and more people are just getting sucked up in it every minute. Obviously, faith is huge to me. And I hope, I hope if you are a Christian and you listen to this, you feel a strong sense of my faith being woven in. And I also hope that if you're not, if you wouldn't consider yourself very religious or, you know, you don't know exactly where your relationship with the Lord is, I hope you find a place here too. Because one of my favorite ways to evangelize or to share about Christ is just to share about my life, just to get to know you and talk to you and, you know, share some of the things that I'm learning and that I'm going through. And maybe you're going through them too. At the end of it, yes, it always down to my faith as well, because I don't believe I can do anything without Christ. I think I've been given these gifts, you know, from Christ. I think that Christ knows my limitations. I think I am who I am because of my heavenly father who created the universe and created me to be a part of it. And I don't know. I just want it to be about faith. I want it to be about finding joy in ordinary life, about trying new things. To me, they're all connected, you know, marriage, parenting, friendships, work, purpose, life. It's all connected. And I'd really love your input. If you've listened before, I'd love for you to send me a message. Most of you know how to get a hold of me. If you haven't ever talked to me before personally, feel free to DM me or, you know, Facebook message me. All of my links are in the show notes. I would love to know what episodes have been your favorite. What conversations do you want more of? Would you enjoy interviews, solo episodes, like book discussions, I don't know, real life conversations. Just send me a DM, please. Leave me a comment. Reach out to me. I would love for a little bit of guidance in building season four. Otherwise, I'll just come up with whatever I want. And that'll be fine too. But I just want to say thank you for sticking around. I honestly popped on here for the first time since April, logged into my back end, and overwhelmed by the number of downloads that have continued to be played over the summer while I've been taking this little break and, you know, just getting on with life over here as I know it and taking a minute to step away from the podcast to breathe for a minute and really pour myself into some of my other projects. And I just want to thank you for continuing to uh support me and be here with me. And I can't wait to see where we go next. So until then, I guess today's little episode tip would be go try something. Go try something new that you've never done before. It doesn't have to be perfect, it just has to begin. I'll see you soon. Thanks for listening. I hope there was something that blessed you in today's episode. If you enjoyed it, would you take a second to subscribe to the show or leave a quick review? It helps so much. And if you know someone who could use a little boost, please share this episode with them. Until next time, take care and thanks for letting me help.
