In this powerful final episode of our Holy Bars: Raw Truths From the Streets to the Spirit series, we’re getting real about the things people don’t always talk about — the pain, the mistakes, the shame, and the seasons that tried to break us.

But here’s the truth… God doesn’t waste anything.

What felt like chains… He uses as building material.

What looked like setbacks… He turns into setups.

And what tried to silence you… becomes your testimony.

This episode dives deep into how God transforms struggles into strength, pain into purpose, and past mistakes into platforms that impact others. If you’ve ever felt stuck, defined by your past, or unsure how God could use your story — this one is for you.

We’re talking healing, transformation, and real faith in real life — not perfect, not polished, but honest.

Hey fam, what's good? You're locked in with Chicken the Spirit and it's time for your midweek boost, your seed of faith. I'm Shrida Mache and I came to drop a quick word that hits home and holds weight. It's short, it's strong, and it's straight from the word Let's Grow. Hey family, it's your girl Srita Mache, and welcome back to the final episode of our March Hip Hop Wednesday series Holy Bars Raw Truth from the Streets to the Spirit. Over the past three weeks, we've tackled rising above doubt, surviving ambitious without losing your soul, and seeing every setback as a setup. So today, we're closing this series with a message so raw, so real, and so necessary. How God takes the chains, struggles, and mistakes of your past and turns them into change, purpose, and testimony. If you've ever felt trapped by your past, defined by your mistakes, or weighed down by circumstances beyond your control, this episode is for you. God wants you to know that your chains are not your curse. They are the material He uses to build your testimony, your influence, and your impact. I need you to listen closely because every struggle, every moment of captivity, every trial, and every experience of pain can become the very thing that propels you into your purpose. Today we're breaking down how to transform your chains into change, your pain into power, and your testimony into a platform that inspires and influences others for the kingdom. Let's get into the word coming from the book of 2 Corinthians chapter 1 verses 3 through 4. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. Think about that. God doesn't waste your pain. Every hardship, every struggle, every season of difficulty is an opportunity to be sharpened, molded, and prepared to comfort and uplift others who walk in similar paths. Your chains, whether literal or metaphorical, are not your identity. They are the foundation of your testimony. Imagine an artist who grew up in poverty, faced addiction, or endured incarceration. At first glance, their story looks broken, but through faith, surrender, and alignment with God, those same experiences become the thrill for music that inspires millions, for mentoring young people, and for creating platforms that change lives. The chains of yesterday becomes the catalyst for transformation and influence tomorrow. The lesson here is that nothing is wasted in God's hands. Every trial, every mistake, and every hardship can be turned into a story that not only glorifies God but also inspires, empowers, and changes the trajectory of others. Your past does not define you. God does, and He specializes in turning setbacks into setups and chains into change. Let us open with prayer. Lord, I thank you for your turning struggles, chains, and mistakes into powerful testimonies. Help us to see every hardship through your eyes, to embrace our past with faith, and to trust that every challenge can become a platform for transformation. Teach us to comfort, inspire, and uplift others with the lessons we've learned, and let our lives reflect your glory in every season. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Let us get into this message. Let us get real. Some of you are still carrying shame, guilt, or regret from your past. Maybe it was a poor choice, a toxic environment, or a season of feeling trapped by circumstances. The streets may have taught survival, but God is teaching transformation. He takes what the world calls broken and turns it into a masterpiece. Chains, struggles, and failures are not permanent. They are temporary tools God uses to refine your character, deepen your faith, and equip you for the work He has called you to do. True transformation happens when you embrace the lessons, forgive yourself, and allow God to use your experiences as a platform to uplift others. The power of your testimony is not just in your victory, it's in the journey, the struggle, and the way God brought you through it. It's time for some real talk. So let's get raw. Some of you are afraid to share your story because you think people will judge you, dismiss you, or see you as too broken. Maybe you've been through addiction, heartbreak, betrayal, or seasons of failure that feel like permanent chains. The street teach hiding, hustling, and surviving, but God teaches repurposing, restoration, and impact. Here's an example. Maybe you once felt hopeless after a failed relationship, job loss, or personal mistake. You were trapped in shame and convinced your story was over. But God took those very chains, gave you wisdom through the pain, and positioned you to mentor someone younger, write a song that inspires, or speak into the lives of people in similar situations. What the world called a setback, God called preparation. Here's a lesson. Don't waste your pain. Embrace your past. Surrender to God's process and allow your testimony to become a light for others. Your struggles are the raw materials God uses to build a legacy that glorifies Him and empowers generations. Here's our faith confession. Repeat after me. I declare today that my chains are turning into change. My struggles, my failures, and my mistakes are tools for transformation, testimony, and influence. I will not hide my past or allow shame to define me. I am being molded, equipped, and positioned to inspire, uplift, and impact others for God's glory. Let us close out with prayer. Father, I thank you for the power to turn change into change and struggles into testimonies. Help us to embrace our past, trust your process, and walk boldly in the transformation you have prepared. Let our lives become living proof that you can take anything broken and make it beautiful, powerful, and impactful for your kingdom. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Alright family, listen, your past does not define you. Every struggle, every chain, and every mistake can become a platform for your change, a testimony for the kingdom, and a source of influence for others. Stand tall, embrace your story, and allow God to turn every pain into purpose. Remember, it's your girl, Sharita Mache, and if this episode touched your heart, inspired you, or reminded you that God is turning your chains into change, email me at Chick in the Spirit Podcast at gmail.com. Stay tuned because April is going to be even deeper, raw, and uncut. You don't want to miss it. And that's your seed. Don't let it sit, let it sink deep, speak it, believe it, live it. This walk ain't easy, but with God, you've got everything you need to win. Catch you next Wednesday right here on Chicken the Spirit. Stay lit, stay lifted, and let your faith talk louder than your fear.
