#PoisedForPurpose #VoiceOfStrategy
Happy Monday, everybody! You are listening to Poise for Purpose, the space where calling meets clarity and faith meets function. I'm your host, Tabitha J, the voice of strategy and purpose, helping you build with grace, lead with confidence, and live with intentionality in every season of your life. And today we're gonna talk about something that we all face sooner or later, and that is the power of quiet seasons. Sometimes the loudest growth happens in the quiet. You know, the kind of quiet that actually makes you question your momentum, makes you think about where you are right now or wonder if you've been forgotten. The calls slow down and the emails pause, and the room that was suddenly so busy, it just goes silent. And you start thinking, wait a minute, what did I miss something? For a long time, I hated those seasons. You know, because I'm a planner, I like movement, I like progress, you know. So when everything slowed, I actually took that personally. But the thing that I learned was that the quiet wasn't punishment at all. It was actually my preparation time. It was the space where things became a little bit clearer, you know, that clarity grew and strategy actually started to form. When things go silent, it doesn't mean that you've lost momentum. It usually means that life itself is giving you space to realign. Because sometimes the only way to hear the next instruction is to turn the volume down for everything else. I remember a season like that for me specifically. Emails were quiet and the projects were actually on pause, and I was convinced that I was being overlooked. But in that stillness, I felt that I finally had time to sit with my own thoughts, to actually reevaluate what was working and what wasn't working, and that is actually when poise for purpose started to take shape. What felt like rejection was really redirection. That quiet didn't kill my progress at all, it protected it. So, you know, if you're in this quiet season right now, here's how to make it work for you and not against you. For one, don't mistake your quiet for absence. Just because you can't see movement doesn't always mean that nothing's happening. There's growth beneath the surface. There's always roots before you see results. Another thing, your stillness, take that as structure, use it productively because this is your moment to get your systems and your habits and even just your head space in order. Listen before you launch out. Silence creates space for strategy. So if you start feeling the quiet with noise, you're actually gonna miss the instruction. Quiet is not empty, it's active alignment. So maybe this week isn't about more motion, maybe it's just about maintenance, maybe it's about making peace with the pace that you're currently in. Because the quiet doesn't mean that you're stuck, it means that something is actually taking shape. So ask yourself: what is the quiet trying to teach me right now? Patience, planning, or even peace. Whatever it is, let it. Don't rush the stillness, don't panic in that time of pause. You're not being hidden, you're being honed. The quiet isn't slowing you down, it's setting you up. Well, so that's it for now. Now you have another perspective of what quiet seasons look like. If this episode was good to you, share it with someone who needs it, and make sure you follow the show so you don't miss next week's conversation. We're dealing with boundaries, balance, and becoming. Until next time, keep walking it out and stay poised for purpose.
